47. C247:Devil May Cry in the Rondo of Blood

Chapter 247: Aria of the Soul! The Devil May Cry Bloody Tears in the Rondo of Blood!

At the same time Ben, Lacus, Cloud and their group found themselves in the area replicating Scala Ad Caelum, Doug, Max, Ezan, Axel, and a good chunk of the others like Zero, Shadow, X, Squall, and more found themselves in a hellish maze with only hideous Empusa monsters and other hell spawn like magma spewing spiders.

The group showed it was in no mood to play around and dispatched each obstacle in seconds, but no matter how many enemies they took down or paths they went through everything looked the same.

At the moment after punching through a wall, only to see the pathway looked like same, Doug yelled out with restrained fury." Damn it, quit screwing around you bastard! If you want to fight just get it over with and let's settle this like men!"

"Whoa their man." Max threw out casually." Don't let the bastard rile you up, it's what he wants dude."

Doug saw Ben's cousin looking casual before he winced and cracked his neck." I get yah Max, but we just supposed to run around in circles till we die?"

"Hell nah dude. But instead of letting the bad guys game rile you up with their game, figure out what the game is then figure out how to use it to get to your target. Back in my bounty hunter days some of the bounties tried to pull some slick stuff on me and thought it was enough to escape from" Janus".

Maybe it bought some time, but just have to figure out what the game was and mess with them. More or less, look beyond the surface of how things seem Doug and then get through the trick to kick the guy's ass."

Ezan looked around before his eyes once more transformed." Max is correct Fitter, we may appear to look like we are going nowhere, but I can detect more energy in the air as we have fought.

Not sure but it's almost like the more enemies we slay, the more this maze moves around. You could almost say that the path before us will open by the weight of are victories."

"Well that's something rich boy but it still depends on how much are "host" thinks is enough to pass his damn test!"

Zidane shrugged as he looked around." I mean, the last place was kind of like a sick game right? Maybe the games are still going on eh?"

"What, like racking up points or something?" Squall mused." That hardly changes anything."

"Just got to look at it the right way Squall!" The tailed Enji retorted as he looked at the walls." I mean, yah the walls all looked the same but maybe we have not been focusing on the walls enough? Like, what if these skulls are supposed to be pressed in a certain order?"

"Come on Zidane that's just grasping at straws." Zero spat out brazenly as he grasped his Z-Saber." If we waste time with every half-cocked theory, we're never getting out of here."

As Zidane winced everyone heard a roar before X winced." Zero behind you!"

The Maverick Hunter saw a creature resembling a two-legged crocodile with an oversized head that two enormous slug-like tongues with small feet at their tips burst out of the ground behind Zero.

X swiftly unleashed a X buster shot to go down its throat, and as he did the SA Mavrick hunter sliced the monster into pieces.

By chance the tip of the Behemoth like creature fell into one of the skulls, bounced off into another, before landing on the lowliest skull on the wall. As blood dripped down all three bony heads everyone heard a cracking sound, before the skulls suddenly glowed. Suddenly the ground trembled before the walls moved around like the entire area was a giant Rubik's Cube.

After a few moments everyone saw the walls shift again and form a new pathway. Everyone was on edge as they saw a new faint red light at the end of this new tunnel before Zidane had his jaw drop. "Oh cool I was just kind of winging it but always nice when it works out eh?"

As Squall sighed Ezan glanced at the pathway and grasped the hilt of his sword." Long as it's not meant to lure us into false security. Get ready for anything."

The group of warriors slowly walked up to the light, and saw that it seemed to be a torrent of blood going upward. X scanned the flowing liquid before the man in blue shrugged." It's a lot of blood, but seems like its normal blood."

"Knowing are luck it will lead to a giant vampire or something." Zero spat out. Upon seeing this Doug heard screams in the distance, grasped his fist tightly and put his arm through the blood. After feeling nothing abnormal he gave the others a half-lopped smile." What, you guys afraid of ruining your makeup?

Thought we were here for a fight not a pageant! Still have to find Aqua and all the others, so I'll dive through the worst sewers in history if it means getting the job done!"

Ezan saw Doug's resolve and smirked." Glad you're having the mindset of a warrior Doug. Your right of course, the mission takes priority over any cosmetics."

"Then hold your breath and let's get this show on the road!" Max threw out with bravado before jumping in. Doug and the rest soon dove in after the leader of the Diamond Dog commandos.

After about ten seconds of feeling like he was going through one very insane water park ride Doug found himself on solid ground, and saw that he and the others were all now outside.

Zidane wiped some blood out of his eyes before he looked around and winced." Oh man, figured we were in some messed up place like Pandemonium but did not think we were sent to hell!"

Shadow heard some screams before turning to the right, and grit his teeth." Looks close but not quite, because last time I checked hell was not a place where the innocent are the damned!"

Doug and the others saw where Shadow was looking, and even the most reserved of the group felt a chill down their spine as they saw a barren field below, one where countless woman and children were impaled and otherwise cruelly mangled or other wise torn apart, with many corpses on spikes.

Max saw most of the people were mostly nude and were either screaming or moaning. He saw what seemed like a child bashing a thin woman with a large rock before he grit his teeth." I been putting up with assholes most of my life, but even trash as large on jackass pyramid as Xizor knew when he was over-killing the sadism and what not.

We get it jackass you're the kid who likes ripping ants apart one part at a time! Not like torturing fakes is going to rile us up.

But your right Shadow, this is not hell. As hardcore savage as Hell gets unless one of Zannacross 's favorites were messing around Hell's only supposed to be where the worst of the worst pay their dues. Here is just people suffering for the hell of it which means this whole place is just someone's giant torture room."

Doug looked at the corpse of a woman with her lower half of her body vaporized next to a geyser of lava before he took a deep breath." True that Max. But the thing is it may be random faces now, but what if one of the people getting ripped apart is one of are buds? I dropped the ball enough as it is Max, and I'm not going to let that be my last act!"

Max saw the seriousness in Doug's eyes and was about to response before everyone heard a monstrous roar. Ben's cousin grasped his sword before he walked in front of the others." Look Doug trust me when I say I know how you feel. You saw Gouken die and don't want to lose anyone else you cared about. I was so pissed off that I was unable to stop Kira from killing all my Zandalore buddies that getting payback consumed my life, till I no longer had one.

Just don't get so revved up you don't see what's going on around you dude. In a place like this, one wrong step and your lunch so get your ass in gear man!"

Doug heard a roar from above, and saw a giant monstrous black bird flying at him before he cracked his knuckles." Sorry for that Max, sure as hell don't want to make things worst. Won't deny I'm pissed off, but I'll be even more pissed off if me being pissed off lets that clown freak and all the others troll me more."

"Then prove it by focusing Fitter." Ezan retorted flatly." This reminds me of my days being tested by my stepfather. That's a Rathalos…the apex monster from Ancient Forests, also known as the "King of the Skies. With its claws, poison, and fire it has many options to kill careless prey."

"That so eh?" Doug uttered as he wound up his fist." Well maybe it's the king of beasts in its usual territory but around here," Just as the Rathalos roared and was about to spit out flames Doug dashed up and with a burst of speed punched the giant monster in the throat.

As the monster choked on its own flames Doug's aura erupted." But this fish just walked into a way bigger pond then he's in league for! Get out of here!"

The member of Squad 7 unleashed a roundhouse kick with enough energy to shatter the Rathalos on impact. As he landed on the ground the bald man snickered." We fought planet killing monsters on the way here, a few normal monsters are not even road blocks worth a damn."

Doug was about to move out till from behind till suddenly a quadrupedal monster with superficially lupine features and highly developed limbs, sharp fangs and claws that was crackling with lighting burst out of the ground behind Doug.

It roared as it prepared to bite and electrocute Doug at once, but in an instant Ezan flash stepped behind the man and had his Nu-Epyon katana impale the monster in the throat.

As the beast roared out and Doug swerved around the sliver haired man sighed." True, this Zinogre is far less powerful then the likes of Galactus, the Anti-Monitor, and beings such as the Reapers. But even so, it can kill you if your careless enough to let your guard down."

"Quit showing off jackass! You know people can be aware of things without the Sharingan! I was just setting the punk up to own him hard."

"Well it did not look like it, and here a moment's hesitation can be all that it takes to lose everything."

"Maybe Ezan, but not if the enemy is selling us short and throwing out cannon fonder!"

"Doug's right!" Axl uttered before the next generation Reploid jumped in front of everyone and twirled his pistols around." You're not going to take us out with losers like that! If that's all you got let's get this over with so we can show you mavericks who's, GAHH!"

In a second the Maverick Hunter's right leg had a bull's eye mark show up on his leg, and it exploded less than an instant later.

As Axl fell to the ground Axel just rolled his eyes." Hope you all got it memorized how dumb that was. Looks like we got more than random beasts in this zoo after all. Enough already just send out the big bad!"

Max jumped back before he cracked his neck." Trust me…snipers can be a real drag! Take cover. Cable, Hellboy, get us a read out fast!"

The survivors of the Diamonds Dog unit dove for cover before Cable used his techno-organic left eye to scan the area in the infrared spectrum before he grit his teeth." Some sort of energy is in the distance but can't make much of it."

Ezan saw that in front of everyone looked like a giant volcano before he smirked." Then we will have to get a closer look. I have the reflexes to deal with the majority of possible threats, I'll lead the way."

Zidane saw his teammate's resolve before he gulped." Just watch your back Ezan!"

"Always Trible." The sliver haired warrior had his Rinne Sharingan widen before he burst for the volcano. Despite moving faster than the speed of sound Ben's rival still saw a mark forming on his right arm.

He used his recently learned Phase power just as a dart of energy formed on the limb. Thanks to his spell, the dart slipped through his body. He saw the dart hit a rock and cause it to explode before he raised an eyebrow and dashed to the side.

The Enji saw that no more attacks were coming, glanced at where the last attack came from, took a deep breath, had his aura flared up and then dashed back. Another mark appeared on his head, but Ezan put enough energy into his speed to catch the dart the millisecond it appeared on his skin.

He observed the dart, before flash stepping back to Squall. As his comrades looked shocked the super elite warrior shrugged." The gist of it seems to be that an enemy one way or another has a mark appear on the bodies of whoever's in that area. I checked and the darts appear from the mark itself.

Thus, it would be extremely difficult for someone without my level of skills to get to the end point without sustaining massive damage."

"Well if that's the case let's just not go that way or blow it up from another direction!" Axl threw out as he used a Sub-Tank to repair his damaged systems.

Zero saw Axl's zeal and rolled his eyes." Problem is the only way out of this place might be through that place man."

"Besides." Max uttered grimly." Are pals might be at the end of that path for all we know. Can't sense energy in this place but they have to be somewhere. Way it set up its almost like people have be shields so the rest can make it through. Trying to focus us to see who has the last worth eh? That is rather damn sick."

"Hell yah Max." Doug spat out." When the game's this messed up you just don't play it! Heh, or at the very least if you're playing someone that's cheating then cheat back!"

"I like the sound of that Doug!" Zero cried out as he got to the edge of the rock." If there is not enough time for all of us to get through, then just freeze time all together! Dark Hold!"

Zero unleashed a flash that caused the entire area to have inverse colors. The ultimate creation of Doctor Wily grit his teeth as he walked forward." There, time will be frozen enough for us to get through! Just don't mess around!"

Shadow saw Zero looking stressed before he turned into his Super state." I'll help so you don't have to hold it up alone Zero, Chaos Control!"

The ultimate creation of Professor Gerald Robotnik and the Black Doom race used the power of the Chaos Emeralds to also freeze time. As Max saw the area was completely silent he grinned." Now this is a loophole I can work with. C'mon boys we have a party to crash!"

With no further delay the group rocketed down the path before the combined time freeze spell wore off. As they charged into the volcano Max saw that the attacks were coming from a humanoid robot.

Its design appeared inspired by a fully-armored medieval knight; with the head resembling a heaume and its glowing red eyes slanted into a death glare. Its most conspicuous knight-like feature was the orange, plume-like extension protruding from the helmet's back, as seen in many medieval knights' plumed helmets.

Max saw the attacks were coming from a large cannon that was coming out of the killer android's chest which it used to create the flash's that left the bull's eye marks on the group.

The former Enji saw the frozen robot and grasped his fist tightly." Well now, even after all the jobs I had that's all but the craziest sniper I seen yet! Still, if you did not want to show your face I'll return the favor! Full Moon Slash!"

Ben's cousin had his giant sword surge with his magic energy and cut right through the giant creature before it even noticed. Everyone landed around the former bounty hunter just as the combined Chaos Control Dark Hold freeze spell wore off.

Zidane saw the area's color start to revert to normal, and saw the killer android sudden spark and then explode after its time was no longer frozen and Max's attack took effect before, he saw no more attacks were coming and grinned." Alright we made it! Now, just hope that's a good thing are we did not just screw are selves. Ugh, just hope it has got us somewhere!"

Squall looked around before the former SeeD grasped his Gun-Blade tightly." I would not call this place a treasure room Zidane but does seem like this is not just another room."

Zidane looked around and realized they were in a giant dome area. The edges of the room clearly lead to magma, with streams of lava and hell fire coming out of the walls above.

There were corpses all over the wide chamber, and some people were still alive. Some men were ripping apart woman, some children were bashing men or women with rocks, and various other gruesome savage displays.

As disturbing as that was Ben's comrades were even more alarmed to realize that there was an audience above, like it was a giant sports stadium.

Hundreds of people were cheering at the bloody display, seemingly indifferent to the Enji and the others abrupt arrival. In between the spaces where people were standing, some were chained to giant wheels of pain, moving around merely to be tortured.

As if that was not bad enough, there were a few naked women chained to cross's, along with a few men, and some in the crowd where violating them as casually as it the people were just sex dolls.

To make it even worst some in the crowd got so revved up that they ripped the staked captives apart and threw them to the magma below.

Ezan saw some of the people on the wheel were beaten so badly they seemed to die, and that their blood just flowed into the wheel of pain and into the center of the room before he grit his teeth." Are they trying to show they are the quintessence of savagery? If so then they are succeeding.

Doug saw a pile of skulls in the north that had a giant mass of swords fused together to some barbaric bloody throne before he rolled his eyes." Man the Beyonder clearly has not grasped the idea of overkill, but its reeking of so much overkill here then it's just making me laugh!

You think being hardcore nasty to a bunch of your own toys is going to psych us out? Any two-bit bum can beat on the weak, but it does not prove one bit you have real strength, just shows you're a damn coward!"

As Max, Ezan, Zero, and the others nodded the group heard a snide male voice chuckle to the right." My, the prey is rather mouthy today eh?"

Suddenly a more bestial male voice answered with," Well…anyone who has enough fire in their soul to get through the Skein of Severance has enough flavor to their soul to be a decent meal."

A new more deranged voice hissed out," There are only two kinds of people that walk down the Trail of Valediction, the hunters and the hunted!

Give me your power. I wish to feast upon it! If you were determined enough to get here to get past Fulgore then your wish, the wish for a truly brutal death will be granted!"

Doug and co saw the pillars of fire retract, and the giant skulls opened their mouths. Various figures then walked in to the chamber. To Doug's left he saw a muscular green and purple insectoid monster with glowing yellow eyes, and a rod in his right hand. To the right of the bug like monster was a man in black armor with a blazing sword and a horned helmet.

Behind them was a large demon. It had been split completely in half down the middle, so one eye is on each side of the cleft. His brain was visible within the massive gap, and purple and red lightning etched across the divide, connecting the two pieces of his head.

His left eye glowed purple and his right eye glowed red, and the horn on the right side of his head is broken off at the end.

He had his gray skin, but now has swirling tattoos running along half of his body that glow purple, and also had ropes slung around his torso.

Right in front of him Doug saw a small girl riding a much larger man like it was her pet. The small warrior had clawed gauntlets on both of her hands. She sat atop the large brute, who wore a frayed piece of cloth tied to his face bound by ropes, a single hole in the cloth exposing one of his red eyes.

Both wore spiked armor, including shoulder and leg plates, while the girl wore various leather straps bound around her body and the larger man used ropes to hold his armor and clothes in place. The girl wore some type of ankle pads on her feet while The man wore sandals.

Behind the duo was a humanoid Demon with a rose motif, purple vines/tendrils, and sharp nails. Her attire was similar to that of a dress complete with high heels

To the right of the pair was three feral kids stacked on top of each other, the one on the bottom was green skinned, the kid in the middle was purple skinned and the boy on top had yellow skin.

To Doug's right he noticed a man wrapped up like a mummy with another sword that was on fire, with another man to his side that was tall and lean-built with pale-skin and shoulder-length white hair.

The upper half of his head was swathed in black bandages, and he had an accompanying black sash strapped to his waist. His chains are located on his wrists and around his neck. Tufts of white hair could be seen protruding from a fold in his bandages and he welded a black sword with a zigzag design at the center of the blade.

In between the two bandaged men was another male human clad in dark full plate armor with a face of someone in his mid-twenties with a youthful face and fair complexion.

His long golden hair flowed down his back and shoulders, but the man's face was brimming with malice as he grasped his katana that was attached to a unique triple katana revolver hosted at his sides.

To the left of the red-haired man was a red skinned humanoid with horns that was a Dathomirian Zabrak life-form in black robes that was taking out a duel bladed lightsaber. To the right of the red-haired man was a man like the red skinned one, only having yellow skin.

To the right of the red haired man was a tall blue man with shark like features on his face with a large blade bound in wrappings. In front of the shark like man was a woman with blue skin with a golden spear, and a white skinned skull faced male with his own spear.

Doug then heard a growl and saw a man crawl in his direction from behind him. The man had very long black hair which bleed into dull shades of red.

His hair was tied into locks which are held together by gold ringlets. He had yellow eyes and four black streaks on his face. He also had several massive crisscrossing scars covering his chest and arms.

He wore only a tattered white kilt adorned with a gold and brown snake patterned loincloth, a golden belt, and brown open-toed boots. To the left of the feral man was a tall bald man with a hockey mask and a machete.

To the right of him was another tall man whose face was covered with a large white mask.

Behind the feral man in red was a larger hulking brown monster with large steel claws and large white hair.

Behind that monster was an even larger humanoid beast with horns and four red eyes on his head. His stomach was covered with many yellow eyes as well as big jaws.

Doug saw the various figures glare and growl at him and just spat on the ground." Well at the very least this punk's game has variety! Well, at least we get to be creative with how much we kick these punks's asses around!"

"Puny human... do you know who I am?" The large demon with a second jaw in his mouth roared out." I shall show... the wrath... of the mighty Goliath! Your all nothing but prey to feast on in the festival of the damned! Bah, but one measly ape is not enough! Your blood...is a very precious sacrifice... Eating you would do me no good. I must have every last drop... to rule... as king!"

Goliath opened his second mouth, and inhaled the fire and magma around him as casually as it was water before he unleashed a massive stream of fire at those in front of him.

Max was the first one in the line of fire, and as he saw the projectile coming for him he smirked before he yawned, and casually swung his large blade down hard enough to blow out the flames.

As Goliath grunted in shock Max laughed." Man you must be great at parties! Hey how about instead of trying to kill us like a dumbass you let us take you back to add you to a circus or something? I mean, that is the only way you're getting out of this in one-piece dude.

Seriously, you guys may think your top dogs where you came from but your just, hey!"

Max snickered as he waved his hand around just as the man with long red hair with the sword revolver tried to slash at Max's neck, but the former bounty hunter casually pointed at his finger and caused the would be attacker to back track, causing Max to snort." Dude your one shabby barber, was totally going to give me a bad cut! Come on get my good side punk, might as well get a free shave out of this!"

The red-haired man saw how casual Max was and had a wild look in his eyes." The art of mortal combat is a fragile dance. But Zenos yae Galvus has no interest in beasts that only howl! After all, only a worthy feast will prove my worth as the king!"

Zero saw that just about everyone around him had one kind of fanatical look in their eye over another before he rolled his eyes." Oh wow, total shocker to find yet another group of mavericks that think they can do what they want."

X shrugged as he had his Ultimate Armor appear once more." Well at least they are not all in their own rooms for us to have to take on one at a time. Maverick scum, we won't let you endanger the innocent for your own amusement!"

The mummy like man with a blazing sword laughed at X's outburst as he got into his own fighting stance." Everything you've just said completely wrong. The circumstances of the world are entirely irrelevant. What is to blame? There is but one answer: Weakness!

In this world, the flesh of the weak is the food of the strong. I, Makoto Shishio, will never submit to the weak even in death! I believe in hell…while these men of violence who wash away blood with blood crawl upon the earth, is it not a suitable place to call hell? I'll devour a few more stray dogs to cause the true revolution!"

Doug spat on the ground before spitting back," Big talk but all I'm seeing is a bunch of smartass bullies who are picking on those who can't fight back! Well let's change that eh boys?"

The red-haired man gave a feral roar as he hunched over." Your fighting spirit…is strong! Yes, we will devour-our-our it! I am Necalli. I consume a...all before me. I can he...hear it. The endless killing intent, must consume.."

The other man clad in bandages laughed madly as he staggered forward. "We Togabito, we sinners are having are vengeance on all that wronged us! You pathetic dogs will just be the next stepping stones on are path to glory."

Ezan saw all the hostile growls before he sighed." Colorful as ever but we really don't have time to waste with more deluded scum."

The girl riding the hulking man laughed madly before she patted her ride on the head." Your eyes; so bright. Gonna carve 'em out! All the posers get what they deserve for not realizing talk is not the same as power! No, money's not power, "respect" is not power, only power is power!"

The man in the horned helmet sneered as he pointed his sword at Ben's rival." She's right, the weak will suffer for their inferiority, it's the natural order of life!

And now all of you will pay for thinking you can mock being hunted by Steppenwolf, Darkside's ultimate hunter! When I prove my worth to this Rabum Alal I will remake reality to be my ultimate hunt!

Now, Zenos, Kokutō, Shisho,Kisame, Darth Maul, Savage Opress, attack from the right! Kalibak, Annihlius, Waldstein, Eyedol, Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight,swarm them to give them no room to escape! Ferra& Torr, the Zappa Yow Yow boys, Alraune, Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, Goliath, cover the blind spots! We will mark are victory when using their skulls as are trophies!"

Zeno grinned at Ezan as his eyes glowed red." Now let the dance begin! Vein S…huh?"

The man who on his world was a Legatus of the XIIth Legion was about to unleash an attack on the sliver haired man when he suddenly noticed there were two of his target. This just caused Zenos to snicker." Trying to change your fate with some clone magic of some sort? That won't save you!"

"Tsc, if that's all you can see, then you truly are not worth a duel with someone of my caliber. Checkmate scum."

Zenos was about to respond when he saw the two Ezan's getting further apart, and then realized his own head was splitting open, and saw that blood was coming out of Steppenwolf and all the others before the red-haired man's eyes widened his eyes in shock." No…NO! You, GUH!"

Zenos tried to charge at Ezan anyway, but his body fell to pieces after one step. Doug saw every one of the Togabito fall to pieces and realized Ezan moved so fast he sliced every one of his enemies before they noticed.

He saw most of the enemies start to vaporize into red quarter like fragments, and observed the sparks of electricity crackle around the Nu-Epyon before the member of Squad 7 rolled his eyes." You not paying attention when I was going on about overkill Ezan? God damn at least let me get the pleasure of punching down some of these assholes!"

"I'm just taking that red-haired clown's words to heart Fitter. He only valued strength, so I interacted with them in the only way that the lot of them understood. This is not a game, we have a priorities to see through and no time to waste with personal pleasures.

Most of us just went through another long game, and since none of the fighters here were as powerful as Jiren, there was no need to waste time on them like they mattered."

Max saw Doug was annoyed before he chuckled." Man's got a point Doug. Its fine, most of them looked like they could not take a joke anyway."

Before Doug could argue the audience suddenly erupted into a thunderous applause like Ezan just scored a touchdown.

Doug saw the people did not look worried at all before rolling his eyes." True that Max, in the end those suckers are just toys. No point wasting time with puppets and all that!"

Max nodded as he looked around." Well, just to make sure so we don't get sucker punched is there any other bozo's who want to play around?"

The Enji heard some hissing and saw that Annihilus, due to his altered physiology survived despite the slices that Ezan inflected into him. Just as Ezan, Doug, and Zero all prepared to finish the buggy enemy off a green energy orb collided into his back. Annihilus did not even have time to snarl before a green explosion vaporized him and the entire chunk of the area.

The group heard a wild yell, before part of the upper right wall collapsed. Suddenly a massive bulky man with golden hair who was wearing white pants with a red sash draped around his waist and secured by a yellow belt with a blue gem-center.

Doug's group quickly saw that the man seemed to be grappling with an even larger man. He looked similar to the other man and had the same hair, but he had a scar across his left cheek, left bicep, and an "X"-shaped scar on his left pectoral, was wearing blue skin-tight pants , and a green fur pelt draped around his waist that flowed on his backside.

Max saw the two new men snarl at each other before he rolled his eyes." Oh great, nothing like crazy Super Saiyans to be nice pain in the ass road blocks!"

Ezan grasped his sword tightly before he glanced at Ben's cousin." Crazy Super Saiyan, your referring to Brolly, the enemy of Goku? Which one?"

"Heh, both of them man. The larger one's a clone, I think. Guess they are having arguments over who's the top dog. Guess the two are not seeing as eye to eye as much as the boss thought eh?"

The smaller Brolly heard the taller Brolly yell before he yelled back, and had the Half-Infinity mark appear on his head before he grasped his taller counterpart by the neck." Damn you, how dare you mock me! A Legendary Super Saiyan is supposed to be a true killer beast, but you're just a dumb ape! How dare you say your me!"

Shadow saw the raw hate the smaller Brolly had for his taller counterpart before he rolled his eyes." Damn, and I thought I had issues with Sonic over who was fake back in the early days but this is just crazy."

Before the others could reply a green energy orb heading their way forced them to scatter.

As both Brolly's fell into the magma Ezan grit his teeth." Get ready everyone, I see an even larger aura erupting beneath us!"

Before Doug could curse out in frustration a massive aura of blood red energy blasted out before chains slowly were pulled up from the magma below.

A man bound in chains was slowly pulled up. The warriors of light and their allies quickly saw a man bound in chains with his arms tied up in a straight-jacket was being lifted into the arena.

He had long spiky black hair reaching down to his thighs with a single shorter bang hanging over his face and had red-irises and visible pupils.

Max saw the new arrival's mouth was muzzled like a dog before he narrowed his eyes." That's the voice from before, the top dog around here eh? Oh just dandy I was hoping that a even crazier Saiyan then Brolly would be a "New Challenger"!

Careful guys, if I'm remembering what Trunks told me then this joker goes by Cunber. Was one of the dudes who was strong enough to fight the first Super Saiyan God Yamoshi without transforming to that state himself."

"So he's hardcore eh?" Doug uttered as he cracked his neck." Fine by me if the big boss of this place shows up so we can get this over with!"

Cunber cracked his neck before he looked at Doug and Ezan hungerly." I was wondering when a worthwhile meal was going to walk in.

I had the boss shackle me so I did not blow up the place when I was sleeping! I like you guys. Now... FIGHT ME!"

Cunber roared with blood-lust and with a casual flex of his muscles shattered his restraints. As Squall slashed in half the incoming fragment with his Lionheart Gun-Blade he grimaced." Well, this is more what I expected when we entered this place. Still, it's going to be a pain."

"He's reminding me far too much like Madara." Ezan retorted." I already dealt with enough battle obsessed hostiles on the mission, and am in no mood to humor more fools. He seems straight forward enough so let's get this over with."

Zidane saw Cunber look at Ezan with amusement before he gulped, and went into his Trance Mode." You're the one who said we can't get careless for a moment Ezan! Might as well go up to bat first to see what kind of ball he throws!"

Ezan saw his tailed teammate run past him before he tensed up." Back down you fool! Your best attacks will hardly make this Saiyan itch!"

Squall saw Zidane's grim determination before he cursed." Damn it Zidane don't throw your life away! I'll cover you to distract him! Blasting Zone!"

The former SeeD had his Gun-Blade surge with light before he slashed down with his enlarged energy blade just as Zidane unleashed his Grand Lethal attack. Cunber saw both attacks coming his way and just snickered." Foolish appetizers, you think you can deny fate! I'll drive you mad with sheer terror to add more flavor to the meal, just like with that last girl! Désastre Claw!"

To his opponent's horror, Cunber had two claws of dark energy form out of his aura and have them burst at Zidane and Squall, easily smacking through their attacks and striking them before even Ezan could intercept them. The sliver haired man called out for his teammates and quickly fired off his Light Divider energy blast to try and distract his current foe.

Cunber widened his eyes and upper cut the blast with his right fist. As he saw Ezan's disgust he laughed again." Come on, get serious or I'm seriously going to kill you! That is, if your pissant teammates don't get you killed first!"

Ezan was about to respond till he saw Zidane yell loudly. He then saw both Zidane and Squall have their aura's turn blood red and stagger back in pain. He saw his former Squad Captain lurch forward before he eyed at his aura with the Rinne-Sharingan." Squall, what's wrong? Did the energy claw poison you or, huh?"

Squall suddenly lunged forward to try and stab Ezan. The younger warrior was easily able to parry the strike but saw Zidane give a berserk cry and attack him to. He saw both of his teammates now had blood red eyes and were nearly foaming in the mouth before Ben's rival cursed." Damn it, that Sayian's aura seemed to cause them to go berserk. Crude, but effective. Zidane, Squall, I know your both warriors that won't succumb to the likes of this!"

The former Dark Enji had fire erupt all around his target. Max saw that Cunber just looked annoyed before he powered up." Sounds like this jackass needs a stronger dose of meds if you know what I mean! Zyuuniou Houpai Daishyahei!"

Doug saw Max unleash twelve projectiles from his broadsword before he saw Shadow, X, Zero, and Axl all fire attacks in different directions and powered up as well." Think you're the alpha dog eh muzzle face?

The martial artist unleashed one of his faster moves to strike Cunber before his aura could react. Ezan saw Cunber shrugging off everyone's attacks and gave a remorseful look to his comrades. "Zidane, Squall, sorry but you're going to have to go through some pain now to avoid more later. Chidori Stream!"

The sliver haired man had lighting burst out of him to paralyze his comrades. Upon seeing his friends grunt in pain Ezan glanced at Axel." Quickly, heal their status effects with the spar Mega elixir while they are paralyzed!"

"Right." The red-haired man grumbled out." Ugh, we better find some of the healers before we run out of elixirs."

Ezan saw Cunber laugh more before his eyes flashed with anger." I assure you Axel, the enemies here will be dead before that happens."

At the moment Doug evaded one of Cunber's shadow claws, only for the Saiyan to grasp his arm while he did. Cunber swiftly punched Doug in the stomach before laughing some more." Heh, you think your smarter than me? Think again fool!"

The man with the muzzle prepared to smash at his target, only for Ezan to use his Amenotejikara Rinnegan spell to switch places with Doug. Just as Cunber realized what happened the son of Ansem Zeon unleashed his Delta Ray Edge slash to slice his target three times across the chest.

As Cunber roared the Enji dove his blade deep into his target." Tactics have evolved since you were king of the hill scum. You're a relic of the past, and now you will fade into the dustbin of history where you belong! Dragon of the Darkness Flame!"

Ezan unleashed his fire attack to try and consume Cunber. He swiftly tried to push his katana into a vital organ only for Cunber to grasp the blade. As the Saiyan punched fast enough to cause a shock-wave to shatter the flames of darkness he narrowed his eyes at Ezan." Heh…you're a tricky one eh runt? Nice, that woke me up! But your wrong, no matter how much time has passed, its timeless that Saiyans will always be the ultimate warrior race! Cower in the face of true power!"

In an instant Cunber howled with rage before his hair stood up and to everyone's dread he turned Super Saiyan. As Axel used all of his power to not be pushed back the man with the former title of," the Flurry of Dancing Flames" rolled his eyes." Hey being a Super Saiyan was supposed to be a rare thing right? Cause it seems every Saiyan and their mother can do it as soon as they sneeze!"

"Or their back tingled at this point. Heh, yah seemed like one of those things that was made rarer than it is to sound cool." Max responded casually." Still, don't matter how rare or not it is if it's happening to us. Looks like this guy's the real deal. So, this dude at Super Saiyan one or that three form? His hair was already freaking long so not clear."

The bloodthirsty Super Saiyan saw the projectile of light and darkness coming his way and gave a primal roar as he caught the energy blast in his hands." That's not a funny joke you twig! You're going to die knowing how foolish it was for a weakling to challenge his superior!"

Cunber prepared to try and uppercut the blast, before suddenly Max was charging at him." Here's the thing jackass, this is no one on one fight! You're not just throwing down one dude but a whole pack! Full Moon Slash!"

Ben's cousin slashed right at Cunber's hand to try and loosen his grip on Ezan's blast. The Saiyan snarled and was about to attack till Cable, Hell-Boy, the Maverick Hunters, and Shadow all fired various attacks to distract him.

Cunber had his aura flare up even more and was about to attack till Doug, already in the Kaio-Ken state slammed his target in the face with the Sanjuu no Kiwami attack. The blow caught Cunber by surprise and hit him with enough force to make him bite his own tongue.

Doug saw his target scream out and flashed a wicked grin." Got to keep your eye on the ball man. Don't think we are going to wait are turn and let you have your jolly's! Final Shoryuken Heaven!"

Ben's friend added to his combo to barrage where Cunber was sore. With everyone else attacking the Saiyan on all sides Doug hit his target hard enough to cause Ezan's attack to go through.

Cunber roared before he was blasted into part of the wall. As an explosion roared out the fanatical audience kept cheering, even as some of them were vaporized.

As ruble fell Ezan eyed the smoke carefully." Even the most powerful beasts can be slayed with the right tactics. Saiyan's are not gods, this fool will pay for thinking so."

The ground begun to quake as Cunber burst out of the rubble. Ezan's attack only left a bruise mark, but the sight of his injury caused the Saiyan to widen his eyes with raw hate. "Your right, I'm not a god. Because true Saiyan's are superior to god's!

I can kill you all now, but I want you to see the ultimate might of the Saiyan's so you can beg for forgiveness and squirm like the worms you are! I'll smash the ultimate might of the Saiyan's into you!"

Ezan saw Cunber have energy surge into his hand before the Enji steeled himself." No matter how powerful a blast you unleash it won't be enough!"

Cunber formed a sphere of sliver light, but instead of throwing it at the Enji he threw it into the air above. Ezan saw the orb get above everyone and grow larger before he powered up again." Is he trying to overwhelm us with a massive blast? That won't work."

"Wrong idea man!" Max threw out as he glared at the new energy orb." That's not an attack, Sayian 's use it to mimic the presence of a full moon. By combining ki with the planet's atmosphere, a sphere of condensed Blutz Waves is created.

Using this, a Saiyan can achieve the Great Ape transformation even when a full moon is not on the forecast. Short version, shut it down or things are going to go south real damn fast!"

X saw the sphere grow larger before he charged up his X-Buster." That maverick won't have the chance to pull it off! I'll block out that light! Squeeze Bomb!"

The maverick hunter used the power he obtained from defeating the maverick Gravity Antolin to fire a miniature Black Hole to try and absorb the Blutz Wave sphere. However, as it fired off Cunber sneered." Think I would not cover my weakness's runt? It won't be that easy! Hey mutant, do the thing the boss said you would do and make sure they can't wriggle out of this so easily!"

The Sayian's opponents were shocked to suddenly see an angelic looking demon with scaly skin. Fly into the chamber.

Its body was similar to that of a mermaid, with a humanoid upper body and a piscine lower half. It had six wing-like limbs that each had a series of glowing purple lights on them.

Two wings were held over its head, two were stretched out to the side and the last two cover its body. The lower half of its head resembled a woman's, but the upper half was composed of several clawed appendages that clenched together to resemble a bandaged cranium.

The new arrival uttered a distorted singing sound before the Blutz wave sphere rippled, and was absorbed by the new creature. Doug and co cringed as the new monster yelled, and had even more light shine from before, causing Max to snicker." Thought of everything eh wiseass? If that's the case, we will just have to be even more kickass!"

"It's too late maggots!" Cunber roared out." This Artemis monster, the demon of Illumining Corruption seals your fate! I'm amazed to find so worthy an opponent. Destroying someone like you gives me joy! RAHH!"

Cunber's eyes glowed red before fur sprouted all over his body. In moments he transformed to a gigantic golden furred great ape. As Doug saw his enemy's foot was now as big as him, he merely spat on the ground." Meh, Galactus and the other dudes were bigger before jackass."

Cunber beat his chest like the giant ape he now was before his power surged. "If you want to be a fool till you die be my guest. But you can't deny ultimate power! All lies be erased by true strength! Désastre Eraser!"

Ezan saw his massive enemy have four shadow hands form out of his back before energy amassed around real hand and energy hand alike. As four balls of dark ki combined into a larger sphere Ezan narrowed his eyes." Cunber…you truly are a legendary warrior. But you're still a savage, and savages that can't grasp the true nature of warfare will fall! I won't lose to you; I will complete this mission!"

"SHUT UP AND DIE!"

Cunber unleashed his Désastre Eraser blast and Ezan burst right at the massive dark energy blast before stabbing it with the Nu-Epyon. The force of the energy colliding into him pushed Ezan all the way to the edge of the room.

But as his back was smashed into stone the man clad in energy armor of light and darkness yelled with determination. "I don't negotiate with terrorist scum! Susanoo Reflection Slash!"

Using all of his strength, Ezan was able to successfully absorb the entire Désastre Eraser projectile in to his blade and unleash his counter attack. Cunber snarled as a shock-wave of light hit him, blinding him before the Warrior of Light's counter attack collided into him and unleashed yet another explosion.

As the ground shook Cunber did not keep his opponents waiting in suspense long as he jumped out of the magma. Cunber had a large bloody scar on his chest from the Susanoo Reflection Slash, but clearly was far from finished.

As the transformed Saiyan saw everyone look at him he roared again." That's your best shot? Scum, that might be the strongest runts like you can do but the body of a true ultimate Saiyan can take far more than the likes of that!"

Ezan eyed the giant Saiyan carefully before he grasped his hand." Even if that's true the inside might not be the same. I'd say the margin of error is good enough for me! Kamui Tachyon Shuriken!"

The silver haired warrior once more unleashed a purple projectile in the shape of a shuriken. Cunber saw the attack and roared loudly." Each attack you throw out is punier than the last! Your pathetic last stand will just lead to you getting more and more broken! Huh?"

Cunber went to flick the Kamui Tachyon Shuriken away with a finger, only for the attack to phase through his finger. Ezan narrowed his eyes at the sight of his enemies shock before he pushed himself." Maybe, but that just makes it easier for the blast to phase through your chest, and into your heart!"

"WHAT!? No, it does not work that way! How dare you try and kill me with such a gutless trick!"

"You think I care what your standards are scum? I won't let superficial pride get in the way of the mission. I'll complete my objective, and protect those that are counting on me no matter what!"

"Damn you, an inferior being like you never can have a stronger will then me, then the ultimate Saiyan!"

Cunber then had his aura explode to try and blast the Kamui Tachyon Shuriken away. For a moment it looked like it would succeed before Doug flew up at the other side of the projectile." Thought we made it clear you're not just butting heads with one dude eh ape? Peace out Harambe! Kaio-Ken, Maseko! "

Doug pushed himself as hard as he could to blast Ezan's attack to help push through his opponent's aura. Cunber saw Zero and the others also fire to help push Ezan's attack through before he roared with fury. "No…a true warrior won't lose to cheap tricks! Damn it, suck the energy out of that attack to Artemis! Prove your god damn worth!"

The exotic demon that was currently emitting blutz waves twitched, before it glowed another color. While it looked like it was about to do what it was told Max instantly dashed at the monster with a slick grin." Sorry freak…appeals on the matter are settled!"

The Artemis demon shirked out before various lasers burst out in Max's direction. The former member of the Cobra Unit just smirked as he dodged the barrage." Sorry, I'm not in the mood for laser tag. Sturm Und Drang!"

Max once more had Spiegel Blades come out of his armor and spun around like a top to charge through the barrage.

Moments later he was right in front of the demon and slashed at it rapidly. As blood came out Max just snickered." Eh, time to add another throw away minion to the pile of, huh? The hell?"

Max's delight suddenly morphed into horror as he saw a few strands of blue hair inside the demon. He heard a moan inside before muttering," The hell? Is this some sort of joke?"

The former bounty hunter quickly slashed above the blue hair, and saw his fears were confirmed, and that inside the beast was Aqua. Max quickly cursed as he restrained himself." This the Beyonder's idea of a joke? Damn it, god or not he's going to pay for this! Hold on Aqua you're not going to be bound to this freak much longer."

Max quickly ripped her out of the demon, and winced as he realized she was now nude." Whoa…looks like I took off a little too much. Damn it, are the others like this? This was already messed up, but now it's starting to piss me off!"

As he landed Cunber just saw that Artemis was destroyed and roared out loud enough to cause the entire chamber to vibrate." NO! I WON'T LET YOU RUNTS STOP ME! Your weak, and only the strong sur, GUH!"

Despite his outburst, Ezan and the others pushed hard enough to have the Kamui Tachyon Shuriken through the wound on Cunber's chest. The Saiyan tried to grasp it, only for it to phase through him, reach his heart, and explode inside his body.

A hole suddenly blew out of Cunber's chest, and Ezan saw the now heartless hostile glance at the hole in his chest before coughing up blood. Cunber gave one last roar of hate before falling in to the magma.

As the Enji and the others jumped out of the way of the sudden magma wave, Ezan casually slashed some incoming chunks of magma." No matter how strongly you howl, you can't yell reality away. That's checkmate scum."

Doug saw Cunber was not getting back up before he snickered." Honestly thought the dude was going to just regenerate good as new but guess he was so full of himself he thought he did not need it. Heh, that was hardcore savage Ezan. Showed that Saiyan jackass who the true alpha is eh?"

"I don't care what he thought Fitter." Ezan uttered as he put his blade back in his sheath." I just wanted him erased to see the mission through. Thankfully despite his power we were able to dispatch him without any causalities. My thanks for acting professionally."

As Doug saluted Max cleared his throat." Don't think we are in the clear yet boys. Seems while we were running around like damn rats the bastards have been busy spending even more sick games then we thought."

Doug saw Max land, but seeing Aqua naked and covered in odd slime in Max's hands caused a chill to roll down his spine." Aqua! The hell did you find her Max?"

"She was in that giant bug like some sort of host!" Max threw out." Not sure how she got in their but doubt it was anything good. Hopefully we will get the story from her. Give me an elixir man!"

Axel saw Aqua was not moving before he grit his teeth." No, she's not moving! She' she's not,"

"Don't freak out idiot!" Doug snapped out." Course she's not dead, Aqua's not rolling over to the likes of that!"

"She's indeed alive." Ezan muttered as he walked up." I can see a pulse, however weak. She's clearly effected by some condition or another. It would help if we could reunite with Aeris, Lacus or the others who's more skilled with healing."

"Then let's stop playing these maverick's game and bring this mad house down!" Zero seethed out."

X saw part of the coliseum collapse due to the rampage Cunber left before he winced." We can't be to reckless Zero we don't know if others are like Aqua around here."

"Well if anyone is in the way then they better show themselves unless they want to die like the rats they are." Ezan uttered darkly as his aura surged again." I won't let the likes of, huh?"

Everyone heard a weak moan, and the group realized it came from one of the cell's busted open. As the group focused, they could hear a faint," Ezan…is that...you?"

The sliver haired warrior grit his teeth as he looked closely at the hole." Aeris, is that you? No, are you captured like Aqua? Hang on!"

In an instant Ezan flash stepped to the source of the voice. Zidane and Squall both recovered just as Ezan took off, and Squall saw his teammate go off before he cursed weakly." No, wait Ezan!"

Ben's rival already was gone before he could hear his team leader, and at the edge of the pathway he saw a figure bound up by what seemed like demonic vines.

Ezan felt dread building up as he saw spikes bursting out of arms and legs that he could hardly see, and struggled to not lose his focus as he realized a head, or more like a face was face down just a bit out of the wall, and that it looked a lot like Aeris.

Ezan quickly took out his sword as he looked around to frantically grasp the situation." Aeris! Can you hear me? Is, anything vital injured? I'm sorry I was not there to protect you, I'll cut you down shortly!"

"Ezan…wait! You, you have to hear this first."

"What, is it the enemy? Even if it's the Beyonder he won't get away with this!"

The Enji heard Aeris moan and got closer as he looked around for any enemies. As he saw nothing Aeris cried out,"Its, its…"

"Don't speak, I swear you will be healed soon. It, it will all be over soon, I'll, I swear on my pride I'll, GUH!"

Before he could finish he felt something grasp his arm, and less than a second later he felt something grasp his limb with to him felt like the weight of a black hole. Dark energy crackled across the limb and into the Enji, further hurting him and paralyzing him to boot.

Before he could even cry out Aeris suddenly raised her head, and only then did the sliver haired warrior realized that as blood red eyes were looking into him, what he thought was his lover's face was just a decomposing face as a mask, with the sinewy facial tissue clearly visible behind the gruesome makeshift garment.

An instant later the being with a flesh mask cried out," Ezan, you have to hear the joke!

While the first part sounded like Aeris, as the being finished her sentence it turned into the Chaotic Comedian.

As Ezan cried out with anger the Chaotic Comedian suddenly had his other fist burst out of the wall, and poke Ezan in the eyes, with the spikes on his gauntlet.

As Ezan was already injured he did not have time to stop his eyes from being sliced up, and ripped out of his body. The Chaotic Comedian laughed out in raw malice as he grasped Ezan by the head." WHO"S THE JOKE NOW RICH BOY!? Your fancy phasing trick don't work if your trying to hold something eh?

The heat from the madman's blade was intense enough to cauterize the wound but Ezan still was nearly overwhelmed with pain.

The masked man laughed madly as Ezan gurgled out blood with the remains of his mouth before he punched the sliver haired warrior again and again." As Axel unleashed a wave of fire to try and counter act the ice, only to see his flames get frozen he cursed." Damn it, your darkside's going all out being a bastard Doug, but it's still nothing we can't handle now that we know just what game we are playing! Just knock Aqua out like with Squall and Zidane!"

A pillar of ice erupted over Aqua, and it shattered a second later. As the ice fell Doug and the others saw that Aqua was now clad in demonic knight armor. As the spider like spikes kept sprouting around her back Doug raised an eyebrow." The hell? Never saw Aqua use that spell before!"

As Aqua landed on the ground, and everything froze around her Axel grimaced." I think there is a reason for that Doug. Its looking like it's a reversal of my own Hades Aegis armor spell, using that causes everything around it to freeze! As he saw Axl try and thaw him out, and saw Squall carrying Ezan's body the masked man laughed savagely." Feel the fear yet losers? Is the despair setting in? How's it feel realizing everything you ever cared for is a joke, and what you cared for is going to des, huh?"

Before he could finish he felt intense pressure, before he glanced to the right to see Max dashing for him with every intention of slashing his head off. The Chaotic Comedian casually caught the incoming sword with the blades on his gauntlets, and the force was intense enough to cave in the ground.

His target evaded the strike, but at the same time Cable fired a Hyper Viper Beam at the blade, and it reflected off of Max's armor to hit the Chaotic Comedian in the face.

The former Bounty Hunter chuckled as he quickly slugged his opponent in the face with enough force to launch the Chaotic Comedian into the air." I may not be the strongest, but you better believe I did not fake getting my reputation as a pro. I did not make an encore appearance just for it to be a dud clown."

But Ben's friend was shocked to see Aqua shatter into ice, before the real Aqua burst out of the cyclone. Doug blocked the strike, but saw that the True-Ice_Kamui armor was no joke as his arm was starting to freeze instantly. The member of Squad 7 cursed before veins formed on his forehead." Aw hell no. Doug had his energy surge with enough intensity to keep himself from freezing. He then roundhouse kicked Aqua to the ground, and while he tried to not hit a vital area Aqua still coughed up blood as she got back up.

Doug winced as he landed on the ground, and got disturbed as Aqua suddenly started laughing madly again." Oh Doug, it's funny you're even pretending that you care. You ran away from Maria and the other girls when things got hard, and you all but had one foot out the door to run away form me a long time now!

Aqua yelled at him and unleashed more ice his way, but Doug cried back, and instead of unleashing his usual Shoryuken strike unleashed a palm thrust more like the Sanjuu no Kiwamie. Doug slams his palm into Aqua's chest, and before she even sees him a surge of energy blasts into her.

While Doug's fist started to freeze Aqua screamed in pain, before a shock-wave erupted. Aqua winced in pain as her eyes glowed red. She was still laughing but it was more and more forced as she tried to strike the man in front of her." Doug…DAMN YOU!"

"C'mon Aqua, you really want to be like this? Don't let anyone, even me tell you what to do, be true to what your heart what's girl!"

The aura around Aqua got even more intense before a burst of light flowed out of her body. Suddenly the aura vanished and Aqua's eyes returned to normal. Doug saw the ice around her body start to crack before he winced. "Aqua, can you hear me?"

Chaotic Comedian swiftly punched Max's sword, and to Ben's cousin's shock his enemy punched right through his Beskar sword.

As Max was knocked into the wall the Chaotic Comedian laughed as energy surged across his fist." HAHAAH! Still think your tough eh poser? While the Chaotic Comedian was able to block the punch, he was knocked back, and Doug took delight in seeing his irritation." All that laughing has made you a dumbass if you don't think I know how I fight! Even if you mix it up with some emo stuff I still know how you think, and know how to kick my own ass!"

As we go back to where we left off with the leader of the Justice Force, after getting out of Mira 's Remote Serious Bomb Ben tried to overwhelm Mira, but the blue man was able to keep up with his blows no matter how he tried to attack.

As he felt himself getting frustrated from the dead lock he barrage the original Dimensional Nihilo General from all sides to finish him.

But even as he had swords attack Mira from all sides, to his shock his target's aura spawned hands of raw energy to catch them all while parrying Ben's slash with Tensa Zangetsu.

Mira saw's Ben's shock before his grin widened." You assumed your role as ultimate hero could not be surpassed, but your wrong Ben Auro! I will evolve past your legend, I will transcend past everything in your entire universe!"

Mira suddenly had a horn protrude out of the left side of his head, and it gathered red energy as soon as it was out. Just as Ben noticed this Mira shouted out a fanatical," Die failure! Genocidal Bullet…Getsuga Jūjishō unison blast!"

Ben saw Mira unleash blood red and black energy blasts from his enemies' new horn and swords at once and found himself struggling to overpower the fused projectile.

As the Enji was pushed to the edge of the pocket Verge of Chaos reality, he grit his teeth and focused his power to try and shatter the attack.

But just as he was making progress, he saw a ripple in the enemies energy blade, before Mira's blade popped out of the blast to go right for his chest.

Ben was fast enough to move his arm in front of his chest, but still got his limb impaled as a result. As the Enji grunted in pain Mira showed himself again, and gave Ben a damming sneer." Your trying to remain focused on me but it's clear your worried about Lacus and the rest and your thoughts are betraying you. It does not matter if they are alive now, there fates are sealed the moment they let you lead them.

You were never worthy Ben Auro, the universe will see the extent of your failures as everything dies!"

"Damn it, I know I lost sight of things but I did prove I was a hero when I saved the universe from Zannacross! Now that I'm back on track after being steered the wrong way I'm making sure I make up for the mistakes I made!"

"That's just it, you always been someone's else's puppet "Savior"! Your accomplishments are all based around luckily stumbling into the path Cosmos, the Enji and the other forces of light laid down for you.

You're without any convictions of your own, without latching on to others you would submit to whatever filled the void you were unable to be strong enough to fill on your own!"

"Nice speech, if empty Mira! I joined the Enji because I was inspired by all the good they did for all the innocent people in the universe and wanted to be part of that so I could help as well!"

"But that's only because Max gave you ideas for years and the ideas you came up to be someone of worth."

"You can say whatever you want, but anyone can say how things could have been compared to how history unfolded!"

To Ben's shock Mira used his power to mimic others to have his right eye suddenly morph into the Mangekyō Sharingan and unleash the genjutsu spell before Ben could react.

The warrior of light instantly felt his surroundings change, and to his shock he saw himself the day he got accepted into the Enji. But unlike how things went down, he saw that this time the two others in front of him did not get disqualified and so Ben saw himself have no choice but to go to work for his father.

Ben could not find Mira anywhere, and found himself paralyzed as he saw this alternate timeline fast forward as he saw countless days flash by as this other Ben was isolated working under his father.

Ben saw he managed to get his family a ticket to see all the leaders of countless worlds come to Corneria to talk with King Atem about the state of the war with Weil Zabi and the rest of the Zeon forces.

While in Ben's history this is when he reunited with the various friends he made in his adventure, in this other timeline Ben was just a spectator to history unfolding past him, and when Xehamaru unleashed his attack, Ben's entire family was killed in a stray blast, leaving Ben an orphan.

Ben saw himself look on helplessly in despair as Kira, Master Myers and others killed Xehamaru, and saw himself be left without a family, and quickly losing his house without having enough money. He saw in this version turning to his old friend Ricky O'Keefe out of desperation.

While Ben remembered all too well his former friend ended up being a member of the Toxic Vultures gang, he saw in this branch of history Ben ended up working as a Debt Collector for Rick, deluding him in sheer desperation that he is just protecting his friend on delivery jobs.

Ben quickly saw Moz, the last person dear to him he had left, killed by an eyepatch wearing gangster named Goro Majima after Rick got the Toxic Vulture's involved in a gang war with another gang, the Tojo Clan of the Onaga yakuza.

Enraged and heartbroken Ben let Ricky guide him to go on a warpath on Goro and the others hideout, only to find out Rickey knew about the attack, and let Moz die to catch his rivals unprepared.

Ben saw himself in this other timeline become consumed with despair and kill Goro and others before taking their treasure, a Curse Seal of Necrocalcous crystal, and using its power. The power consumed Ben and caused his dark alter ego, Darth Idious to take over.

In this reality Ben did not have the power of the Star Sword so Idious was far weaker, but Ben still was mortified to see his dark side kill everyone in the area around him in a berserk rage.

Ben saw that Idious fought, Doug, Cloud, and other Enji till he at last by chance confronted Lacus. In this version Lacus barely recognized Ben, but the sight of his childhood friend caused Idious to nearly have a mental break down.

While for a moment his madness relented at the sight of Lacus's dismay, with his guard down a large muscular fist punched him through the heart.

Ben saw himself turn around, and saw that the fist came from a tall, bald man with wild eyes like an animal.

It was the face that Ben hated most of all, Lacus's former abusive boyfriend Brad Fowltror. As the other Ben looked at Brad with shock the taller man widened his cruel grin." No one cares about the moaning of some pathetic wild dog! Your ruining the buzz I have going on so get lost loser! FOREVER!"

Brad then flicked the man in front of him's head off like it was just dust, causing the real Ben to get consumed with rage as he could not take it anymore." No…NO! That's enough!"

The leader of the Justice Force unleashed an explosion of energy to try and shatter the illusion. He was relieved to see his headless corpse, Brad, and the rest shatter, but quickly dismayed to feel a painful force from behind, and realize Mira tackled him from behind.

Just as Ben glared at him Mira suddenly had a black spike protrude out of his right hand and stab Ben in his arm.

As Ben yelled out in pain the blue skinned villain snickered." Did that vision help make clear how much of your legacy is entirely based on luck Ben Auro? If you did not get chosen, without that boost, your life easily could have amounted to nothing.

Your nothing special, and you have no right to lead anyone anywhere.

You're a blank slate, one that has nothing unique in your heart and can only be filled by latching on to others! You deserve to die knowing how much of a fraud you are!"

"Enough already! I know I own my legacy to others, that's just how history works! For most of my life…I craved so badly to have something to define myself other than my family who everyone treated as jokes and losers.

I was never content with who I was growing up. I was ashamed of lacking so many things compared to what those like Lacus had, I wanted to be someone who could be respected to but always seemed to make mistakes because of my own defects.

After all, from the memories I took from your father after you defeated Zannacross and could do anything you wanted, the friends you said you cherished were more of a afterthought even when you could do anything you wanted."

We caught up, had dinner, joked about old and new times, but we live really far apart now so what else could we do? That's supposed to be what growing up is about!"

Ben cried out as he suddenly headbutt Mira and punched him in the face. As Mira went flying Ben grasped the Divine Mugen Nova bitterly." Anything can sound evil if you twist the facts to fit your views Mira. I won't deny I made mistakes, but my intentions were always good, always for the sake of peace for the majority of the people in the universe!

No matter how you try and twist things, in the end you're the enemy trying to kill me so the only debate that matters is how many hits it will take to shut you up for good!"

To Ben's shock Mira was not even bleeding from his blows, and as the Dimensional General rubbed his face he smirked." How sad, like a true entitled and spoiled brat who is told the truth...he lashes out and tries to smack away reality with violence.

But while you may have near infinity power, it can't help you if I neutralize the majority of it. Its impressive that your power is still a threat after my blade absorbed so much of your aura, so I decided to speed it up by injecting you, to directly erode your very soul."

"No, some sort of poison?" Ben gasped in horror as he quickly looked at where Mira punctured his skin and saw the cut was glowing purple. The response caused Mira to snicker." As if I would use such a primitive tactic.

No, I injected prion's made up of my very cells to corrupt every inch of your body. After all, a prion is an infectious agent composed entirely of protein material. It can fold in multiple, structurally distinct ways; in simple terms, it attacks the body's proteins and muscles.

The gist of it is, I'm ripping your body apart from the inside out to make sure you get the death you deserve."

Ben's eyes widened with horror before he grit his teeth." Damn it, if nothing else you really upped your attack patterns Mira. But, after just going through that fight with Iger and having my power sealed there, I am not about to just let an enemy seal or otherwise compromise me!

I've mastered my energy in more than just how to attack, I can focus the unnatural elements in my body and force them out, turning your big trump card to a big old joker!"

Mira saw that Ben's body was glowing gold as black liquid, the prion nano-machines he injected into him were slowly spilling out before he gave Ben a damming look. " You can be resourceful when your pushed, but you cannot get out of your judgment! I am the Enji Slayer, and I will break you in body and soul!"

"You will have to find the real me first! Multi-Shadow Clones!"

Mira saw his target suddenly spawn copies of himself all around him. And as the various Ben's all flew around the blue man frowned." That's right, use tricks to stall every second you can from your fate like the hypocritical coward you are.

Such antics as Shadow Clones can't fool me. It's obvious the real you is the one surrounded by energy swords to protect yourself. A worthless gesture, Ignition Bullet!"

In an instant Mira burst at his target and punctured the body in front of him. But while at first Ben cried out in pain, his body suddenly glowed with light before he exploded. As Mira was blasted upward Ben, the real one stabbed him in the gut with the Divine Mugen Nova from above.

Ben grinned at his enemies shock before his blade surged with light." You took the bait again Mira. I knew you would go for the one that looked like the real me, so I rigged that shadow clone with a mine to lure you in! Time for this joke to end!"

"Indeed, because despite what you think now I got you! Pain does not hinder me, your mine!" Mira suddenly had spikes come out of both of his hands and stabbed Ben in his arms. As the Enji screamed in pain a hint of fear flashed across his face as he shout out a stressed," No, no matter how you try and kill me I'll never let you do it! I have to keep going, for the sake of the universe and everyone in it!"

"Your salvation is an even worst fate for death then most! You just make it too easy. I know you think you've won, but you lost the moment you dived this far in. Your soul is about to be in the deepest pit of slumber, and you've worn yourself down to nothing. There's no returning to the world above… your beloved Lacus will never again fill your soul with light because I'll shortly erase it entirely.

People will object to anything that's not their own idea, it's impossible to please everyone! In the end, if it's impossible to please everyone then the next best thing is to make things work for the people that deserve it the most, the innocent. If freedom always wins then many more will lose.

You know how frustrating it is, seeing people suffer because the arrogant refuse to think about the consequences of their actions? You know how frustrating it was, seeing people again and again throw everything into chaos because instead of going for the best person for the job, they went for the loudmouth who told them whatever they wanted to hear?

It was bad enough when it happened once, but I could see the mistake of letting your hopes up once. But what's worst is that even after everything they went through with that one bad choice, then they just let it happened again like they learned nothing! Again, and again, and again, so many people show they don't have any memory at all.

No, even worst, they don't even want to bother to learn, and just repeat the same mistakes again and again rather than change, rather than getting out of their echo chambers.

When it comes to that, can you really call such people good anymore? Seeing that made me question, just who am I really fighting for?

It's so damn depressing to see so many people refuse to think. I loved fantasy growing up, and that fantasizing about a better life, and being the heroes from the stories I read and saw, and the real-life hero's like the Enji gave me enough faith to keep going till my life changed, and I made my dreams become reality.

But as much as I loved fiction, I never lost sight of reality, because if I just drowned in dreams my real life would never improve.

That's why it's so depressing to see so many people just drown in fantasy to the point that they don't even know, that they don't even care what's real.

They don't care about history, or the truth, all they care about is getting whatever gives them what they want, everything else be damned. And if they don't really care about anything but what they want and don't want things like reality getting in the way of that, then hard to call that person good eh?

It's one thing to live your life in a way that others don't agree with, but when others suffer because you refuse to see reality, that's when you become a threat.

Dreams may be vital to have faith to keep going, but those who are dreaming obviously through life are a threat to the innocent. If these radical dreamers refuse to wake up to reason, is not the best way for peace is to bound their hearts to force them to wake up and see how things are for the sake of peace?

But I keep remembering, there are the innocent surrounded by people binding them to their own selfish sinful choices, and they are who I fight for! They are the ones who deserve better, even at the cost of the selfish fools around them.

I was wrong to deny those that did nothing wrong the chance to live their life, I see that now. But I refuse to give up on making life better overall and raise the standards of life for all!

I have to be even more careful then I thought I was for the Homeostasis's Matrix Connection plan, but I will never give up on creating a world where people can still have their own lives, but the risk of having their happiness repressed by selfish monsters like Brad. To make that dream a reality, I'll never let the likes of you and the Beyonder win! That's why, I will kill you Mira! I, AHH!"

Ben was just about to throw Mira off of him, but to his horror Mira had another spike pop out of his elbow to inject even more prions into him. As Ben's aura started to receded his enemy gave him a damning look." Even as its proven that Cosmos and the angels are not the absolute on what is right you still dare to think your ideas are the embodiment of what is right?

You refuse to see that who is good and evil, who is innocent and who is a sinner can change based on culture, you just assume that the majority view is everything, that the type of people who wronged you are and always will be the enemies of existence."

"Damn it, people may have different values but there are universal truths, there are some things that are right and wrong no matter where you're from. Because if there is not, then all that matters is who has the power."

"And you're not using your power to justify your reason? Is that not how all holy types, how all hero's in the end make there will obeyed?"

clinging to pious hopes that aggressor and warlike lifeforms would learn and understand the virtues of peace is a delusion that does more harm then those who are honest about their nature. Nature is a international jungle, with no rules, no umpires, no prizes for the " Good boys, its a place were weakness and indecision are fatal, the judgment of nature upon error is death.

You angels and hero's hope that if the base and destructive elements of mortal nature could be contained and suppressed, the better elements protected and nurtured, then the possibles for human progress, moral, political, and material could be unleashed.

But every hero's dream becomes a nightmare when the reality that that peace and prosperity are just the results of those who enforce their wills on others, not the natural way of things. And when those things are removed, the jungle grows back.

Your solution was to erase the things that would grow so that only what you want to grow will be allowed to exist, but others might not see what you want to grow as ideal.

Ben Auro, you and the angels only really show forgiveness and compassion that those who do what you want, and use power one way or another to bend the rest to our will.

This is reality. Everything you cherished will shatter because it's a façade, and what you despised will prevail because it is the ultimate law of nature, it is the truth that shatters all lies! Your heart will sleep forever in the folds of darkness. And your body will be another vessel for me. So light gives way to darkness, the sham goes to sleep forever!"

Ben found his vision fading, and as Mira dived deeper into his heart, and he felt his strength begin to fade. As he felt weaker and weaker he could not help but think of what Mira said.

As he thought about all that he valued the conflict made things hurt even more." No, am I really just another villain, no better then Brad and all the others who just used power to force there way on others? Lacus, I wanted to give you a better life, but am I just as bad as Brad then that means, like I feared I was not really good for her either?

No, it can't be true, I do deserve happiness! I won't die because this freak thinks I'm worthless. No matter what he says if I die then Lacus and the rest of my friends might die to! Even if I deserve to die they don't! No matter what, I WON"T LOSE TO HIM!"

While Mira thought he had finished extracting all of Ben's soul till suddenly a surge of energy flowed into Mira, caught him off guard, and hit him with such force that he was blasted back.

As he stabilized himself and saw Ben land on the ground with a thud he grasped his fist tightly." The last burst of his soul eh? Stubborn to the last, but upon the time of judgment the stubbornness of all inferior beings will submit to ultimate power.

The Dimensional General had his aura flare up in an erratic nature as the entire pocket dimension before Mira yelled out in pain." To think, you would set up such a trick? No, it won't work, I am superior! I am, AHH!"

Mira's head twitched again before he suddenly laughed madly and in a much more erratic tone seethed out," Oh shut up already you blue man tube reject! You may have been spat out with the strongest stuff but there is simply no way you could ever have the strongest will toy boy!

After all, your just programed thoughts, you can never have a will that's been through true despair! Still, thanks for being such a tool! I never thought I would have had the chance for a encore! So, sit back and enjoy the ride!"

Mira saw his skin start to turn pale before his normal eye widened in shock." What, can't…think. Does this…mean…I…lose? No…this was…a mistake! Towa…forgive me! I, AHHH!"

Mira grasped his head harder before his face turned more and more pale, and Ben suddenly twitched. The Enji suddenly gasped for air as he leaned back up. He quickly got on his feet, saw he was still in the same place before he raised an eyebrow.

He saw Mira yelling in pain and just looked around in confusion. "What…happened? I almost thought I was dying, but guess I got a lucky break. Still, what the hell is going on? Did, Mira have an allergic reaction to my energy or something? Well, that will show him who the true champion is!"

Mira suddenly stopped before he looked downward. Ben saw his head kept twitching before Mira chuckled darkly." That's right faker, and it's me! Miss me?"

Ben froze as Mira suddenly sounded vastly different, nearly like a demonic distortion of himself before he grasped his head." What, what the hell is going on now?"

Mira just kept laughing as he grasped his head." Oh come on, forget me already? Forgot that I made it really damn clear that I refuse to carry a king who's weaker than me and get cut to ribbons with him? If you're weaker than me, then I'll destroy you, and take your crown, and your body for myself!"

Ben saw Mira suddenly look back up, but now the right side of his face was covered with a demonic mask. As Ben saw how the white and black skull mask looked before his entire body wracked with dread." Wait, no, that mask, it almost looks like the mask that I wore, when I was Darth Idious!"

"Ding-dong! Just managed to get the right answer!" Mira, who now looked like Ben's own personality forged from the darkness of his heart, Idious, yelled out sarcastically as he staggered forward." I would have hoped you did not forget me entirely! I mean it seemed to be a really big deal at the time! That's right, back by popular demand its time for the Idious come back tour! Thanks so much for breaking down enough to make this reunion possible!"

Ben saw Idious laugh madly before he grasped his chest tightly." No…this some sort of joke? Some sort of trick to mess with me further Mira? It's impossible for Idious to manifest outside of me unless it's some special place like the Tower of Destiny! Besides…we settled things back then, the matter was decided for good!"

"That's rich, your acting like you have a say in the matter!" Idious hissed out as he narrowed his eyes." What you thought was real is no longer so. The values you cherish is just a dream made up of lies!

And that means reality matches me far more then it does you! So just fade away and let me get the job done to give all these eyesores what they truly deserve! I can't wait to see the look on Lacus and all the others faces when we have are reunion! That is, if they are still alive out their!"

"No, no way Lacus will die to the likes of scum like Zamasu!" Ben roared out defensively." She's alive, and I'll make sure she sees my face, and never has to see yours again!" Ben cried out as once more had his hair turn golden. As Idious saw Ben power up, his grin widened as his own hair flared up and his sword slowly morphed into a twisted version of the Divine Mugen Nova."

"Oh don't be like that, don't you think your lover would be happy to see her "soulmate" be honest and show what the true nature of your heart is? You been fighting so damn hard but by the time this is over, as the universe becomes what it really is, we will stand on it as we really are! They say you can only die as a hero or live long enough to turn into a villain, so it that's how things go, might as well not be a sucker!"

"And for the sake of everything, I"ll prove that I am the real me! Everything I had faith in, I'll make sure its not lies!"

"Come on Ben, be honest with your old neglected roommate. After all I'm your shadow, I know damn full well what goes on in the depths of your heart! Your dream always was to become a symbol of peace. But that's because its the most positive way to be accepted by people. Your doing what society expected out of you, you just followed the path society laid out in front of you.

Its easier to take the pre-paved road then wonder off the beaten path. Go ahead, tell me I'm wrong! When will you stop deluding yourself man? Ah well, but in the end its that hypocrisy that makes us what we are! You want to be the person everyone will like, but deep down we know that people will always loath us just for having what we have! "Your wrong!" Ben cried out frantically." Its not my destiny for you to be my true nature Idious! I may not like the choices people make and I do want to try and change that, but I want to do it without become a villain like Kira! I saw the mistake I was making before it was to late, and I"m going to try and find a better way no matter what!"

"HAHAHA! Its useless...there IS no way for that to happen! Deny it all you want but we just can't have are cake and eat it to! We can either see things clearly and live, or die as a fool.

So if we will become a villain no matter what I"ll make sure we get the most out of it! So time for a lighting round course correction of "Maximum Carnage" so that everyone can get what they deserve, what they really deserve!"

"No, no matter how bad the odds are, I'll never just give up trying to be a hero! I"ll never let you be my true nature Idious! And I'll prove it once and for all!"

"You can deny that I'm the endgame of your ideal! That's right, if I'm your future, if its fate that we end up as the villain, might as well cut to the chase! Shout as loud as you want, but before this is over, we will see who's the mask and who's the man behind the mask once and for all!"

At the site of his white colored Ben cried out as despite his injuries and doubts, he powered himself as much as he could to make sure the spawn of his fears and sorrow did not become not just his bane, but the bane of everyone he cherished.

But first, another round of Authors Notes: I know I had a lot of cameos today so lets get started. Fulgore and Eyedol are from the Killer Instict fighting series, Ferra& Torr, is from Mortal Kombat Ten, the Zappa Yow Yow boys is a fighter from ClayFighter 63⅓.

Necalli is a fighter in Street Fighter 5, while Waldstein is a fighter from the Under Night In-Birth series made by the same pepole who made Blazblue and Gulity Gear, and also was in Blazblue Cross Tag.

Shisho is a major enemy from the series Rurouni Kenshin, while Kokutō is the main enemy from the fourth Bleach movie, Hellverse and the Togabito was the group he lead in that movie.

Kisame Hoshigak was a member of the Akatsuki from Naruto.

Kalibak and Steppenwolf are from Superman and are servants of Darkside, while Annihlius is a Marvel supervillain that frequently fought the Fantastic Four and is well known for the fairly popular Annihalation Wave event.

Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight are two of Thanos's recent minions that were in Advengers 3 and 4.

Goliath is a enemy in Devil May Cry 5, Artemis was from DMC5 as well, though in the game the demon is using Lady as a powersource instead of Aqua.

Goro Majima is a some times ally sometimes enemy from the Sega Yakuza series.

I"m going to assume most know where Darth Maul comes from, though as a reminder Savage Opress was Maul's brother from the Clone Wars series.

Jason and Myers are both from their respected horror movies, and Zenos yae Galvus is a major enemy from Final Fantasy 14, and seems popular enough to have been added to Dissdia NT.

While Aqua's"Black Swan form" was mostly based off Anti-Aqua from KH3, also gave a few nods to how Robin was "Mutated" by the Joker in the Batman Beyond Joker returns movie.

Cunber is from Dragon Ball Heros, he's a Sayian even stronger then Brolly, both Brolly as he defeats Vegito even while the fused Sayian used both Kaio-Ken and Super Sayian Blue, which seemed to make clear he is stronge then Neo Brolly, even though Jiren defeated him after that, showing Jiren's still stronger. Guess General Bland still needs something for him.

I know the" New" Brolly is not a clone in cannon but, just worked better for the history of my story.

As for Idious, his return is like the return of Riku Clone in KH3 in how he works, as if he's really Idious or just Mira playing more mind games well, I'll leave that as something to think about for now.
