Chapter 249: Final Jeopardy for the Universe! Beyond the Time of Good and Evil!

As Ben, Lacus and all the other heroes braced themselves for the decisive battle for the universe, just about every person in existence who could still think was anxious, wondering if this was the last moment of their lives, with one exception.

That sole omission was the being that was the source of Ben and the other's last decisive fight to what the warriors of light thought would be the ultimate showdown between good and evil, Chaos Zannacross Necron.

While his seal still held, even the sealed space in-between the Axis of Time binding the Shin Emperor of Darkness could not completely block out the effects of the entire universe becoming unstable.

But since Zannacross was currently unstable himself after being completely isolated for years, the former ruler of the Zannacross Empire just thought he was seeing more delusions.

After seeing Ben and Lacus again, seeing a chance at freedom, and then being denied by some of his first children, the embodiment of darkness had descended into hysteria ever since.

At the moment Zannacross felt another tremor before remembering Beerus, Champa and the other God's of Destruction helping Ben keep him sealed before he roared as loud as his spectral body could." DAMN INSOLENT TRAITORS! HOW DARE THEY DENY ME WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY MINE! YOU THINK YOU CAN BREAK MY WILL WITH SUCH TRICKS COSMOS!? ITS ALREADY UTTER BLASPHEMY FOR ANY BEING TO DEFY THEIR ONE TRUE MASTER.

BUT FOR THE GOD'S OF DESTRUCTION…SOME OF MY ELDEST OFFSPRING TO DEFY ME SO UTTERLY IS BEYOND UNFORGIVABLE! EVEN IF IT TAKES TILL THE END OF TIME I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE FOR THIS TOTAL BETRAYAL OF THEIR PURPOSE! IT HAS ALWAYS…ALWAYS BEEN MY RIGHT! Before Zannacross could rant further another tremor cut him off. Suddenly the embodiment of evil heard a childish laugh." I always found it baffling that despite being one of the eldest and most knowledgeable beings in existence, you still could not learn the most basic facts Zannacross.

But, at this point I think its safe to say your very nature deprives you of accepting what most children accept without too much difficulty. Nevertheless…soon your vengeful wish just might be granted, though as always it might not unfold as you expected."

Zannacross saw a flash of golden light, till suddenly a golden sphere formed in front of him. In a flash it took the shape of Zannacross 's current state, causing the god of darkness to howl with rage, for it was the One Above All in the same state that it was before Zannacross was defeated and sealed by Ben and Lacus last time.

Zannacross glared at the golden doppelganger of himself before hissing out," NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES THIS VISION FLASH'S BY…I WILL NEVER LET IT BE OUR LAST INTERACTION!

ALL WHO DARE THINK THEY HAVE MASTERY OVER ME WILL PAY…FROM MY FIRST OFFSPRING TO THE ONE WHO DARES SAY THEY ARE THE ONE TRUE GOD!"

"Just look at me Zannacross, look at yourself." The One Above All calmly retorted." Your pride is the sole reason you have not lost your mind entirely, but you lost so much sense that you no longer can tell me from your memory. But total isolation does tend to tax anyone's sanity.

When Seiya defeated you, your seal still allowed you to observe the universe and interact with your minions and weaker souls. However this time, the seal was all but absolute…this time you had nothing but your own thoughts and memories to interact with.

And for as superior as you thought you were, now after nearly five years your no better then the common mortal after complete isolation.

But I suppose it's not to surprising. Chaos Zannacross Necron, you indeed may have been one of the first beings to exist after me, but power and experience aside, your mind is not nearly as transcended as you thought. You made the same arrogant mistakes of so many of my other children.

Because of the privilege of the circumstances of your life led you to believe you were superior to just about everyone.

However, your failure to respect your children led them to rebel against you, and ultimately...renounce you.

The scale may have been bigger than most but it's a mistake I seen replayed by so many of my children Zannacross.

No…to be totally fair you and Cosmos are not quite my children, more like my siblings, aspects of myself I divided. Even so, as the eldest in whatever you would call us, I failed to guide you properly. To be fair, since you and Cosmos were truly the first children to exist there was no" Book" for how to guide children properly, not even for "God".

Since you were not even aware of my existence till you tried to kill me, I take part in the blame for not "Setting you straight." If I had been more direct, I do ponder how differently the universe would have unfold.

So many possible futures indicate disaster, after all the majority of the time that "god's have tried to govern with absolute will it one way or another lead to ruin.

For one…those who proclaim they are god always are crushed when they realize they are far less absolute then they fought.

There is always a "bigger fish". But those who know just a little more then others think they are superior.

From a man in the city going to a rural area thinking he is superior, from someone who descended from a more advanced galaxy to rule over primitives as a god, to impatient Supreme Kai's such as Zamasu thinking they are above lower level Kai's and Angels and even their seniors, those who are a little bit ahead think they are above those below.

Only the truly wise, those who truly know, can concede that even a being at the level of a Supreme Kai, Cosmic Abstract, or a Celestialsapien can still learn new things from " Lesser beings".

That's what separates us the most Zannacross, you assumed you know everything and wanted nothing to change, but as part of everything, I don't want there to be a time of no change, for that would mean the true end of life. To be fair, this is a fault Cosmos has shared with you.

The methods may have differed but as much as you spent all of history clashing you still desired above all else a flawed dream, perfect order at the price of stagnation. Cosmos thought a kind utopia was the ultimate state of life, willing to put harmony over purpose.

You thought order was paramount to all, but despite having the name Chaos, you only valued Chaos when it brought about the results you wanted, and championed the beings you thought had value.

But you were wrong. You always have been wrong and refused to concede your mistake no matter how many times your dreams failed. Even now, you failed to realize just how much one value's life and what they will do.

Because in the end, darkness does not concur all, and as you saw, even unleashing the collective wrath of all darkness could not smash your desired order on the universe.

But to be fair, all of Cosmos's light could not implement the ideal harmony she wished either, because no matter if it's a soft or rough touch, both of you failed to realize that bringing total order is the same as ending history.

To think that there can be an end of history and change without an end to life is as naïve as one can get.

You and Cosmos alike thought life itself was a climb till it reached a natural, "Ultimate" point, seeing the mortals outlook of life being a continuous cycle of growth and decay as something mortals thought was natural through their "limited" perspective.

However, you both have let your perspectives blind you to the fact that no matter how much the light shines or how deep the darkness is, the cycle of nature presses on. In your own ways you refused to account how others would take in your views, and this is the root of your original sins.

From the start, because you assumed your first off spring, the Beyonder should act as you wanted to, and lashed out when he did not, the universe is at its current crises as a result. Yes, in your final moments before being sealed when you assumed the majority of the universe would bend to your will, once again you were caught off guard by humanity's sheer will to live, and now everything there is might be consumed by that will. "

"THE FIRST…THE FIRST TO DEFY ME! HE WAS NOTHING MORE THEN RAW CHAOS! HE WOULD HAVE DESTROYED EVERYTHING I CREATED IF HE WAS NOT PUT DOWN LIKE THE MAD DOG HE WAS!"

"Its true my" Grandson" did not react ideally either, and the very nature of life, manners, respect and all that was up in the air at the time.

But even if the situation was unique, in the end you and Cosmos gave up on your child like parents who discard a troubled child with a disability when it became tough.

You can state whatever nuance you want to justify yourself, but you still did not see your child as they are. And this never truly changed.

And in the end, Cosmos may have compassion and want the best for her children, but she still refused to see things for how they are, and the time for change is now. Regardless of how today unfolds, I decided change must unfold to bring an end to the grand delusion.

For one, the desire to turn all into one single hive mind is an error that must be removed, no matter how strongly some desire harmony and understanding. When life itself started, when only my thoughts existed, the first thing I felt after self-awareness, was loneliness.

I divided myself, and my thoughts became you and Cosmos, "Good" and " Evil" thoughts. The Beyonder was in essence the first being of Chaos, the first being with no true purpose.

While it was a chaotic existence, it did give life meaning, however dangerous. Zannacross, if nothing existed after you and I, would that truly have been paradise? Since it would result more or less how things are now, even for you that would be hell.

Since the dawn of time people have been trying to define what is the ultimate ideal state of life.

You tried to force your will on the universe, but Ben Auro rallied the rest of the universe and overcame your wrath at its worst.

However, Cosmos tried her best to impose a gentle order but that will be rejected the moment most realize the depths of that action.

In the end its neither light nor darkness that truly dominates all, but nature. What the true nature of life is, is what you and Cosmos have been trying to define since the dawn of life itself. The people have made it clear they don't seek death, but neither do they always seek peace.

They say they want peace, but the subconscious desires of man's heart is more nuance then either you, Cosmos, or Ben Auro want to admit.

What that true desire is, might be on the verge of being decided.

Cosmos has tried to see her "Central Fiction" realized for so long that she failed to, or more like refuse to realize the aftermath of "Perfect Harmony".

But, a world without possibility is not alive at all. True, a world can be destroyed by ego, but trying to erase ego all together is just as much a finality as the Ragnarök you envision.

I have not been this curious in a long while. Zannacross, if I gave you a chance for your torment to end…would you take it regardless of knowing what would lie after that?"

"YOU THINK YOU CAN MOCK ME!? I AM CHAOS ZANNACROSS NECRON, THE ONE TRUE EMPEROR OF ALL! NO ONE WILL COMMAND THE TRUE GOD!"

"You would think that, but a true leader does not blind himself to the flow of those around him but flows with the pulse of life. Even the most stubborn, will bend when they are truly desperate. You wanted the universe to bend to what you saw as the truth. However even God can't truly bend everyone to his truth without breaking the balance.

Every person relies on and is bounded by their knowledge and experience to live. This is what we call "reality". However, knowledge and experience are ambiguous, thus reality can become illusion. Is it not possible to think that, people are living in their assumptions.

You would think there are laws of nature that shred lies, and its true that no amount of delusional thinking prevents someone from not falling into a supernova or a black hole.

However, no matter how much pressure applies, one can't completely cause someone else's view to match their own and so to not drown in chaos people put up masks to make a bridge of delusions between their souls.

You see, this is why people need to lie. It's good. Keeps the peace, you know?"

This caused Zannacross to laugh even louder as he narrowed his eye.

"NOW I KNOW I'M TALKING WITH A DELUSION. NO TRUE GOD WOULD EVER TAKE SUCH A PASSIVE STANCE!"

To his shock the One Above All merely grinned." Is it? You always let the humans influence you, you and Cosmos both really. You saw all life as a tyrant to force your way with absolute force.

Meanwhile Cosmos saw herself as the mother of all life, trying to guide people to their ideal state, or at least what she thought was ideal harmony.

But truthfully, the way I see it Zannacross, I'm a writer to an open-ended campaign, doing what must be done to ensure the story goes on.

Thus…lying's kind of what we do, to weave the story that is life.

In the era of the cosmic "Old Testament" I leaned on your ideology, on wrath, on fear to get people to obey. Then for the" New" Cosmic Testament I leaned more on Cosmos, on faith and hope to bring out the best in people.

At first, God was shaped out of people's fear, then later out of people's hopes, and their ideals.

By now, I realized both extremes have their faults, so the only way to prevent further deadlock is to see through a new age, one that is not based on either unending rage or hope, but nature, reality shaped by the instincts from their true subconscious thoughts.

And now since I told you what I wanted you to know, I won't stick around for your endless egotistical ramblings when I have a far more interesting story to see.

Yes, Enna Cross has told Cosmos my message, so everything should be ready. Time, for the final answer."

Without even a flash the One Above All vanished in front of Zannacross. The master of all demons paused, before yelling furiously into the nothingness around him." DAMN YOU SMUG DEMIURGE PARVENU! I AM THE ONE TRUE MASTER! I WILL NEVER GIVE UP TO THE MORTAL SCUM THAT BETRAYED ME, RENOUNCE THEIR RULER! NEVER…I'LL NEVER LET THIS BE THE END OF ME! I" LL ESCAPE NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES!"

Zannacross proceeded to rant on more, but with no one else to listen we now turn to another being full of hate whose rage was even more explosive, the Beyonder.

At the moment we turn to the first scion of Cosmos and Zannacross, just after seeing his last Dimensional Nihilo Generals fall.

Atem could not help but feel relief sweep through his heart at seeing Zamasu, Mira, and the Chaotic Comedian all at last fall. However, the ruler of the Lylat Kingdom forced himself to remain calm as he saw the Beyonder's eyes twitch.

The three eyed man had all of his eyes blink, before he slammed the table with enough force to shatter it, and cause the entire area to shake. In an instant the being trying to destroy everything let rage consume him." Damn it…they cheated! GOD DAMN CHEATERS!"

Atem saw the very fabric of reality seemed to be shaking before he took a deep breath." Unless I'm mistaken the only rule was to come out on top. Thus, my champions won your game."

"Its not over yet…ITS NOT OVER TILL I SAY ITS OVER! It just means things are going to get nasty in the most brutal showdown in history! They wanted a piece of me? They got it!"

Before Atem could respond a panicky female voice blurted out,"MASTER!"

Moments later the singed Galena flew into the chamber. As one of the last Black Swans caught her breath the Beyonder grit his teeth." You hit your head Galena? I did not call anyone!"

"Forgive me Rabum Alai, its just that the Enji have broken through! They are coming!"

"And then what are you doing running away? I thought I made you Black Swans to serve me till the end? You think I'm to stupid to know that?"

"Of course, not my master. Its just, I sleek your guidance on how to proceed from here."

"What you think? In the end you all were totally useless!"

Galena saw raw energy crackling around the Beyonder 's hands before she turned pale and got to her knees." I, I'm so sorry master! Please, please don't kill me I was just doing as you commanded to the best of my ability."

"Heh, guess your right. Don't worry, I'm not going to kill you."

Galena saw her creator smile and promptly bowed." Oh thank you for your mercy my master. I knew you would, GAHH!"

In an instant the Beyonder fired a red energy beam from his third eye that set the Black Swan ablaze. Atem felt a chill down her spine as Galena fell to the ground. While she screamed in horrible pain the Beyonder merely rolled his eyes." Oh, quit moaning Swan!

You're not going to die, cause I'm not giving you permission to die! Even if your so messed up you usually would die Swan, my power over you tells the laws of life and death to go take a hike! Now…now you're a good warning for those shills of the light on just what their in for!"

Atem saw the living corpse that was once Galena cry out in agonizing pain and just twitching endlessly as more of her body burned and resisted the urge to throw up." You think anyone will ever respect your rule when you treat your most loyal followers like this? Making your agents suffer endlessly is the peak of sadism."

"Tsc…just shows you how much of a puny king you are!" The Beyonder hissed out." Love is for saps…and the true master of all expects his staff to do what I tell them to do!

The fact that she expected anything less just shows how broken they all are. Ugh, no matter how I create these Chrono Phantasma they keep screwing up. Its because they are infected with all of Cosmos's flaws. I have to break everything, so my new existence won't be tainted!"

Atem saw how unhinged the Beyonder looked before he took a deep breath." Do you really not understand what caused her reaction even after you said you looked at most of the history of the universe? She was scared and overwhelmed after being given an impossible task by her master, the nearest thing she had to her parent. She looked to you for guidance, but you only gave her,"

"I ONLY gave her what she was supposed to know! I'm tired of your loser talk, people who need these things are losers! Look at that Batman dude, so broken because he lost his parents! If its human nature then I'll replace them with people who don't need anything, just like me!

I created my own damn universe and I did not need all those lame angels and demons Cosmos and Zannacross depend on! That's because I'm not playing by their lame rules! Winners don't need to play by such lame rules as life or death.

That's right, things will only disappear when the strong say they do! Everyone across all of history never stops moaning about death anyway so its win win right?"

"You, you really are only looking at things from one side. A ruler has to know all the sides to rule properly. Do you really dismiss the need for a parent's approval when all of this seems to be based on your anger at Cosmos and Zannacross, your parents, trying to kill you?"

"You DARE think you know what I'm thinking little Lylat?" The Beyonder snarled as his entire body turned blood red." You think I care about lame stuff like some loser human? I don't need "Parental" Love or any of that. I just hated them for denying me, the one true ruler, from getting what I deserve!

But I'll give every last one of them what they deserve! Little Auro, that nasty woman Raystar, their pals Doug, Ezan, and ALL of the rest are all just suckers!

All this honor and justice, these morals, it's all a botch job! You all keep defending it to not make yourselves sound worthless, but that just means every last one of you are losers, failures!"

"Only from a certain point of view. After all this have you still failed to see what kind of power Ben and the others have?"

"ENOUGH! Every single thing you said is just words, empty useless words! You all wasted my time enough with your damn hero spiel, your done!"

Atem tried to respond only to find his mouth was not moving. He then looked down, and to his horror found that in less then a second the Beyonder willed the ruler of the Lylat Kingdom's mouth to vanish.

The Beyonder looked delighted at Atem grasped the blank space where his mouth use to be." That's more like it! I gave you your chance but I'm pulling the plug! See how worthless you really are?

Without being able to hustle the mass's with fancy speech's, your worthless! But I'm real power, I'm legit baby! So, sit back and watch on in pure horror as I go about ripping every single person and every single thing you care about apart!

And when I'm done I'll have you I don't know, write a letter about how great I am. Heh, that's right, you will be the one who writes how I made the universe truly great, made things how they should be.

And I'll make the book or whatever, on the corpses of all your precious champions! Or what's left of them or copies, I'll think about it when its done! I know without a doubt that Ben Auro has to suffer. If he's Cosmos's ideal, then I'm going to rip her precious ideal apart piece by piece!

You think you can guide the future "Hero"? I AM THE FUTURE! I AM TIME! I AM EVERYTHING! AND ITS TIME EVERYONE THERE IS GETS THAT STUCK IN THEIR HEAD! No more delays, time for the Plana Legio Prix to have its end, so that the old universe can get the series finale it deserves!"

The Beyonder laughed madly as his aura exploded and caused the entire area to bend and crack like a ship about to break.

Soon all of the Phantom Field molding the Beyonder's pocket reality to his liking was consumed by this aura, and moments later all of Magicant began to shake.

At this point we return to where we left the defenders of the universe last time. Ben, Doug, Lacus, and all the others were preparing themselves for the final battle, but while they expected their enemy's wrath, they were not prepared for everything around them to start to boil and crack.

The owner of the Divine Mugen Nova heard more and more cracking sounds before he grasped his lovers' hand tightly." Get ready Lacus!"

"Already am Ben!" The winged woman cried out as her golden aura extended. She saw Velvet and some of the others look troubled before she smiled." Don't worry everyone. No matter how crazy it gets, I'll protect you.

You hear me Beyonder? No matter how vicious you lash out…this time I won't let you have your way! Time once and for all, you learn everyone has to deal with being told no!"

Less then a second later everyone heard a rumble, before the ground around them shattered. The woman with the Golden Imperia Crystal quickly cast a golden energy barrier around them as the entire Brane started to morph.

Ben saw his surroundings were now just red on all sides, with faces of the Beyonder laughing at him.

The leader of the Justice Force saw his hand was growing large, and turning to glass, and then melting before he grasped his sword tightly." Damn it, trying to just rewrite reality to where you win Beyonder?"

"I don't know what he's doing dude." Doug blurted out as he saw his fist going brittle." But I'm feeling more messed up then after all the drinks I chugged in my life!"

"Don't lose focus now fool." Kira stated flatly." The Beyonder is pushing us through many planes of reality back to back to overwhelm us."

"That's all?" Ben stated as he grit his teeth and tried to keep calm." No matter how much reality changes, I always hold true to myself. Well, mostly.

Point is, we are fighting to cling onto our unique individuality no matter how much reality changes! You're not going to break our will!"

Ben poured his aura in to Lacus to empower her further, giving her enough energy to keep her shield up. With the help of Aqua, Aeris, and all the others they were able to endure before a flash of light blinded most of them.

As the light faded, they saw they were above the same giant castle, Wahrwelt, they saw previously when Ben and all the others fought Doug before.

Wahrwelt had transformed somewhat, now appearing underground and above ground at once, with the latter section being a large, upside-down truncated pyramid structure made of black stone and crystal.

Now there was giant pillars of energy flowing into Wahrwelt from all directions, causing James to eye it carefully."

" So this is the Beyonder's lair? It reminds me of the ruins we found of the an ancient Sith Temple located on the hidden Sith World of Exegol, and yet another base of operations for Darth Sidious. But, it looks far more like a divine construct."

Ezan nodded before eyeing the new surroundings carefully." This energy, its almost like the Axis of Time, when we confronted Zannacross. Is this where he is trying to absorb the Nest of Time like how the Supreme Kai of Time mentioned?"

Cloud looked around as he got uneasy." To be honest, this reminds me of when we had the showdown with Sephiroth back in our planet's core. Though this time, it feels like the core of the entire universe."

Aeris giggled before adding," Well, since I had a bit of a different feel of that time Cloud I can tell you you're not that far off. Its not quite like are Lifestream…but I can feel souls all around us, primarily coming from those pillars of energy. I see and sense a lot of that Magatsuhi energy all of the Beyonder's champions kept raving about to."

Ezan eyed the energy even closer with the Sharingan before frowning." I can again sense Chrono particles as well. Has he already remade the Axis of Time to his liking?"

"Not quite. The flow of energy feels different my former apprentice." Kira answered. As someone who's spent the last few years being the Warden of Hell I can feel hell's energy in this spot.

This seems to be the Nexus of Reality, where chaos and order meld. It is the meeting place of dichotomies and the fulcrum of existence, where all the realms are bound together.

To shatter this, would be to cause reality, and even time to unravel.

Interesting…from the other side it's like the Beyonder is a tumor to are universe.

Normally, human cells grow and divide to form new cells as the body needs them. When cells grow old or become damaged, they die, and new cells take their place.

When cancer develops, however, this orderly process breaks down. As cells become more and more abnormal, old or damaged cells survive when they should die, and new cells form when they are not needed. These extra cells can divide without stopping and may form growths called tumors.

Cancerous tumors are malignant, which means they can spread into, or invade, nearby tissues.

In addition, as these tumors grow, some cancer cells can break off and travel to distant places in the body through the blood or the lymph system and form new tumors far from the original tumor.

However, the Incursion looks on the outside, from the other side the Beyonder is acting like a tumor to the universe, causing the realms of existence to mutate abnormally, till they shatter, as they did before Whis and Valdos warped you back a week in time."

Ben saw half of his comrades did not even know what Kira was talking about before he took a deep breath." That…sort of makes sense. Damn it, I was powerless to save my grandmother from cancer back then, but this time I have the power to do something! This time, I will be able to fight back!"

Ben and Lacus saw a wide courtyard part of Wahrwelt and as the turbulence lessened, they moved to land before things escalated again. As the leader of the Justice Force landed on solid ground once more, he saw everyone up to the still massive Shinryudramon to the Neo-Highwind.

Everyone on board made it through before he gave a thumbs up." Heh, after all despite how hard the Beyonder 's tried I still managed to pull off being a decent hero. After all, despite how much he threw at us we still got everyone in one piece! And, even managed to get a few extra tag along somehow."

As Bugs Bunny chuckled, Cloud and many of the other Enji looked dismayed. As Ben raised an eyebrow in confusion, the spiky haired warrior sighed." Well, almost everyone Ben.

There has not really been any time till now, but while your group was fighting Jiren we fought a lot of enemies, till that servant Kirei from before attacked us.

His spells really put us in a bind, and Master Myers was only able to overcome his magic, by exerting every last ounce of his power. He saved us, by pushing his soul to the breaking point. We got him back to the Neo-Highwind but, its looking bad."

Ben saw Zidane and the other Enji around him looking just as grim before he felt a chill go down his throat." What, seriously? No, Master Myers! Damn it, I should have been more careful. If I did not get distracted then I,"

"Don't blame yourself boss!" Shinryudramon shouted out." One way or another the Beyonder was going to screw with us! Master Myers did what he could and we have to keep going!"

Lacus saw how upset Ben looked before grasping the golden gem around her tightly." It, might not be to late if I get to him."

Moments later every last villain had transformed, now clad in identical purple cloaks with golden masks hiding their faces, each one of them having the same round armor the Beyonder had on his own clothing.

Ben saw the nearest one get into a fighting stance just like Sephiroth, while another, the one that use to be Frieza had twin purple disc's of energy spin around before raising a eyebrow." The Beyonder, turned them all into his pawns? Is this his way of pretending he is perfect?"

"I AM PERFECT you worthless shills!" Salem suddenly roared out as her eyes turned golden." I pretend nothing! I am SUPREME! I AM the universe! Now that the so-called worst of the worst are juiced up to their superior BU, Beyond Ultimate versions, they won't lose to shills like you!

Ben saw the BU Sephiroth clone come for him with his Masamune blade, and parried it with the Divine Mugen Nova. He also had his flying swords intercept the Sauron BU Chrono Phantasma's Mace, Marluxia 's Graceful Dahlia Scythe, and Thanos's large duel bladed sword.

Kira casually stabbed the incoming Homing Destructo Disk Frieza threw at him before he parried the blades from the transformed Ganondorf and Sigma at once and just sighed." Did not think this would be how I would be reunited with my former cohorts in a manner like this. Then again, I'm all but a puppet myself. Still, as long as there are options, I'll go with the less revolting choice. Enough of this farce, Black Coffin!"

Doug prepared to strike when another clone of Terumi unleashed his Ouroboros chains to try and grasp the member of Squad 7 by the neck.

The martial artist snorted at the attempt, grasped the chain and hurled his enemy into the Akuma Chrono Phantasma before the enemy could unleash the Shun Goku Satsu.

Before the Enji could follow up his attack incoming projectiles from another BU Chrono Phantasma of Madara Uchiha and of another villain, Apocalypse, along with the Genocide Cutter strike Rugal was unleashing, caused him to be on the defensive.

As the rest of the villains attacked Shinryudramon roared out in fury." Bring in on jerks! No matter how many times you come back we will never be tired enough to smack you back down! Let's see you, huh?"

The attack consumed her and collided into the massive doors behind her. An explosion ignited that was intense enough to shatter the doors that served as the entrance to Wahrwelt.

As Shinryudramon landed with a thud, everyone saw that the blast seemed to succeed in vaporizing the group of Chrono Phantasma Sonic whistled." Man you really back a punch now Shinryudramon! Heh, almost feel like they are trying to trick us with how easy it was taking down the band of the worst that quickly."

As he saw that the Beyonder seemed to be holding what symbolized the universe in his hands he rolled his eyes." The Beyonder just has to show images of how he thinks things are to pass off fact as fiction eh?

Ugh, I remember I had a dream like this during my first mission, right after I was knocked out after escaping Nightmare and before Yoshi woke me up."

But anyone that's their champion fits the bill long as they don't screw them over! They just say they love hero's more then villains because they know they will be bad guys if they admit they don't like the good guys!

But what if the game changed entirely, and people did not have to worry about being bad and karma and all that? Thanks to seeing you guys be so damn annoying I got a great idea for how I'm going to run things!

Ben saw the Beyonder looked full of himself before he sighed." I admit, in some of my worst moments I thought about death, like it was the only option I had. Never anything that I acted on but, it's probably true I wished to touch it somewhere in my heart.

When I think about it...I had this neighbor of mine who died of old age. It was a peaceful enough death, but last time I saw him he told me he wish he risked more because he died never feeling loved, he died alone feeling like his life did not matter. My parents kept saying I had a death wish trying to join the Enji, but while I did not want to die, part of me did feel like dying as a nobody felt even worst then dying as part of something that mattered so it was worth risking everything to try and be a hero.

I know I got really lucky with that...and that countless others die without ever having there dreams come true. I saw how miserable my neighbor and others like my aunts and uncle have been and thought that the best thing a hero could do, was make sure no one in the universe ever had to feel that isolated and worthless again.

But...after having time to rethink things, or more like being forced to see things from more then one point of view I realized that there is only one thing that differentiates life from stillness. It's that we die.

That's all there is. I don't want to die, but I don't want to have a life without value, without anything that would lead to joy either! To stop the heart's yearning for destruction... It's what people have been trying to figure out since well, people were people.

People try to keep death at bay, but without it, they lose sight of life. "That so? Have it your way!" The Beyonder spat out as his eyes glowed again. Just as Ben and the others were about to reach them, the massive star vanished, and all light vanished from the area, turning the entire area to be as cold as the void of space.

The Beyonder saw everyone was now frozen in massive glaciers before he laughed again. "Bazinga! Got yah hero's stopped in your tracks dead cold! Heat is not the right mood? Fine, instead of frying you will all freeze! Seeing you shatter and try out that hockey game with your heads sounds fun anyway!"

The scion of Cosmos and Zannacross widened his eyes as he formed a broadsword of energy and then dove for Ben's head.

The golden colored man prepared to go through with his decapitation motion, till he saw cracks from in the ice. Suddenly black flames erupted out of parts of the ice, the Amaratsu spell. Just as he realized what was happening Ben burst out of the ice.

The Beyonder found himself parrying the Divine Mugen Nova, and as he paused the Enji screamed out," That all? We Enji can adapt really damn quick Beyonder, even in a place that is as cold as the depths of hell!"

As he saw Ezan, Max, and the rest of the first wave breaking out and still coming at him despite it now being the void of space he narrowed his eyes with a mad look." Maybe that's so shills, but no one can adapt faster then a god!"

The Beyonder snapped his fingers again, and suddenly the entire area became a blazing inferno. As Ben braced for the heat, a second later the area became frozen in ice, and the next second it shifted back to fire.

The Beyonder saw the golden spinning energy beam coming for him and to the cringe of everyone around him, merely responded with an amused look."

"Your so damn dumb if you think I can be blasted down like some everyday demon! I told you, I'm not part of your script anymore. I'm beyond anything the likes of you heroes can do!"

The Beyonder's aura flared up to cover the entire area, before the being trying to destroy all of existence caught Ben's most powerful attack, and had it shatter upon impact.

Ezan saw the Beyonder did not look strained at all and could not help but wince." He was able to neutralize Ben's most powerful attack? But if an attack that's at full power has no effect, what can?"

But just as he was about to say something Lacus had the Oath-Keeper, currently acting as her tail in her fused form, smash into Ben's second sword's hilt. This smashed it with enough force, and infused it with enough holy energy to cause the blade to break through before the Beyonder could react.

The golden man suddenly stopped laughing as the blade pierced his chest. As a mixture of holy, dark, and Haikai energy all surged into his body the Beyonder blinked." Huh? This a joke? Its not, GUH!"

In addition the faces of all of the Black Swans and Dimesional Nihilo Generals sprouted up all over his body and laughed the moment they fulley formed.

The Beyonder saw everyone's shock and laughed smugly as he swung all of his blades at once to unleash golden energy sword waves from every one of them.

As Ben and the others acted fast to protect the others the enemy of all life once more howled out madly."SEE!? I can do everything every last one of you can do by myself! Some of you pushed yourselves so hard for nearly your entire pathetic lives to get as strong as you could, but ALL of that power came to me in an instant! This is what sets apart a man from god!"

The two combined their power and charged at where the Beyonder was. The leader of the Justice Force sent out a dozen Shadow Clones to help defend the others to keep the Ultima Erebus Titanomachy bombardment from closing in.

After combining their power the two warriors of light burst through the energy cage. But as they did, the Beyonder was waiting for them, with a small golden orb in his hand.

Just as Ben noticed the orb looked like a miniature galaxy his target formed a sadistic grin." Think God's judgment is so easy to break out of? Forget about it!

I warned you and you did not listen, so face a pain that only the true god can lay down! Aesir Ragnarok!"

The Beyonder launched his projectile at the duo, and Ben instantly tried to knock it back while Lacus cast a golden barrier, but before their actions could go through the orb suddenly expanded and consumed them.

Ben tried to cry out for Lacus, but could not as pain overwhelmed him. It took all of his willpower to look up, and see he could no longer see Lacus, but saw an explosion that seemed endless consume him. Ben used all of his strength to endure the blast. As pain racked through him he felt a nose loud enough to nearly shatter his eardrums upon impact.

But just as he was thinking that he failed Lacus, he felt a faint, but strong thought in the back of his head. While faint the feeling got stronger before he realized it was Lacus 's energy.

A feeling of pure resolve coursed through his battered body before Ben yelled at the top of his lungs.

His muscles bulged as his aura surged with enough force to repel everything back as he burst to where he was feeling the energy." No, I won't give up Beyonder! Even the ultimate pain, won't break the ultimate hero! I'll fight, to the last breath to keep what I love alive!"

Ben and his clones attacked the Beyonder with blades composed of so many elements that the Beyonder could not think what they were in time to properly block them out.

Realizing this the Beyonder had his aura explode to try and repel Ben with sheer force, and after that the head looking like Super Boy Prime fired a burst of Heat Vision from his eyes while the face of Android 21 shot out a beam to attempt to transform Ben into candy.

But to his shock Shinryudramon dove down from above and brought down his now gigantic sword with both hands as he blocked some of the incoming enemy beams with his blade. Just as the Beyonder glared at him the Digimon roared out,"You're not going to shrug off the boss! Magna Dividing Quantum Slash!

The Digimon slammed down his giant blade with enough force that the Beyonder was forced to diverge enough energy to the point that Ben got closer. The angel let the energy of the Imperium Golden Crystal surge through her before she unleashed a karmic beam at her opponent.

Kira observed the Beyonder looked more annoyed then hurt at seeing the pain he caused his victims before he narrowed his eyes." Let's observe just how much it hurt when Cosmos and Zannacross neutralized you last time Beyonder. Any extra effort to eroding you is worth it… Gehenna's Embrace!"

The fanatical revolutionary had an orb of darkness form in his free hand before he launched it. As it came into contact with the Beyonder the first son of Cosmos and Zannacross suddenly experienced all the pain he had felt in his life, back to when his "parents" first neutralized him.

Feeling all the pain he felt in his life and the pain of all the people he killed, plus all the other attacks being launched at him weakened him enough for Ben and his clones to break through and slash at the Beyonder.

The Enji slashed at the Beyonder in unison with his clones, causing him to be sliced into every second, with countless types of energy being infused into his body.

Ben heard the Beyonder scream and prepared to put everything he got into the final blow. The Beyonder saw Ben was focusing before his body quaked with rage." Damn you Ben Auro! I won't lose, I"LL NEVER LOSE!"

The Beyonder unleashed a massive golden energy beam from his third eye to try and blow Ben away. The warrior of light saw the blast was tearing at the very fabric of space and braced himself." Yes…you..ARE!"

Pouring everything he had left Ben dove down, and slashed into the projectile that seemed to erode the very fabric of space and pushed down. While Ben was pushed back for a few moments, he saw his comrades and dug in, and to his enemy's shock managed to cut through the beam.

As he got closer, he yelled out." Beyonder, U-DO, Volthoom,Rabum Alai, or whatever you call yourself, time you realize you don't get to win everything! This is the will of the universe right here!"

Pushing himself as hard as he could, he managed to burst forward like a ray of light, and slash through the energy beam. The Beyonder did not even have time to scream before he was cut from top to bottom.

The moment rainbow colored rays of energy burst out of his body Ben grasped his sword tightly." All right, time to bet everything on the theory the angels have! Ready Lacus?!"

Lacus saw her lover stab the Beyonder in the chest before she nodded."Its now or never!"

She fired an intense blast of light from the Golden Imperia Crystal that poured right into the wound her boyfriend caused. At once Ben tried to use his blade's power to condense its target's energy into one spot.

But unlike Sigma and the others, with the Beyonder being an entire living dimension was a far greater weight then Ben's ever experienced, the only thing that came close was him working with Lacus to keep the realties from collapsing after defeating Zannacross.

Ben felt like his arms were on the verge of snapping off but saw the Beyonder looked in pain before he kept going. His allies tried to heal him as much as they could with their magic, and as the Beyonder felt his mind losing focus he screamed with pain." No…not again…NOT AGAIN! I"ll NEVER LET THAT HAPPEN AGAIN!"

Lacus saw the Beyonder convulse before yelling out," No matter how you lash out, you're not getting out of this!"

As the winged woman unleashed energy ribbons to try and help Ben, Aqua grit her teeth." That's right, your answering for your actions! White Haze!"

The blue haired Enji unleashed a burst of ice magic to try and further weaken her target. While normally he would shrug off that level of magic in an instant, being weakened as he was the ice managed to weaken him further.

At the same time James used all of his magntism powers to try and effect the Beyonder for a second.

As Shinryudramon, Cloud, Doug, Zero, Max, Sonic and all the hero's that had the energy tackled the Beyonder he saw his body ripple and crack more before fear started to form on his face."No…NO! I, can't feel my body, my head's feeling cloudy. I, I can't die! I'm beyond death! I won't die, I refuse to die like some damn petty human!"

The Beyonder lashed out more, but Lacus noticed that the Beyonder was looking confused and upset, and that his face was now turning many colors.

As she felt the despair seeping out of his eroding soul she winced." Its, almost like his fear is authentic.

As the sphere rapidly changed one color after another James tried to look at the sphere as carefully as he could." I know nothing is impossible but, this was still rather unlikely! The Chaotic Comedian, took advantage of the Beyonder's weaken state to absorb him into himself?"

The new being had the charred remains of the lower half of the Beyonder's regal outfit, but was now entirely shirtless, revealing ghost white skin.

The new being's size was that of a normal human, though extremely muscular. Trunks saw raw black energy was crackling around the new being's fingertips before the half Saiyan could not help but gulp."The aura feels completely differently, he really succeeded in taking over the Beyonder's soul and took it over! This was no spur of the moment act, this had to have been planned! But only the most advanced magic could even attempt to pull it off!

Was it, some fallen deity linked to time, beings who abused time such as Demigra, Kronika, or Chronos, or Kang the Conqueror? This raw malice, it could not be Zannacross could it?"

Ben saw the new figure was still motionless before he took a deep breath." Even if this is some last-ditch act of revenge from Zannacross himself, it won't be enough! Nasty as this energy is feeling, this power is nothing we can't handle!"

The source of the laugher slapped its knee hard enough to unleash a shockwave of ebony energy before slowly muttering." The other half of his face was a demonic ebony living skull, pulsing out a fiery red orb for an eye. On the man's skull like eye, was the red symbol the Seal of Necrocalcous symbol, on top of the Time Breaker symbol was in the human eye.

But it was the human face that disturbed Ben the most, for it was the face of the man Ben though he would never have to see again.

As horrifed as Ben was, Lacus could not help but turn pale as she muttered," No…Brad!?"

Instantly the being that looked like Lacus's former abusive boyfriend formed a wide primal smile as he cracked his neck." Hey their baby, daddy's home! How about showing the main man some love? After all, I been away a hell of a long time!"

And since the Beyonder was his own universe, as that universe finished forming, I became part of that living universe by merging with one cosmic facet, or embodiment of reality at a time, by absorbing one astral personification of actuality into the core of my soul at a time!

The Juggernaut Project was meant to convert all energy into power, with enough time that means entire realities energy is just another thing to convert into my power! After all, even so-called god was once just more energy. And I know that because thanks to latching on to Big B, I was able to know the truth.

Thanks to all that Steller Memory stuff the Beyonder showed his Swans, I got a front row seat to the dawn of time. I got to see Cosmos and Zannacross came from everything splitting into two forces that would become the personifications of light and darkness.

They were the first, but if someone was there when that bang happened, and took in that energy instead before it formed its own thoughts, THEY would become god instead!

Course it would take the power of god to withstand a bang that big in the first place, but luckily there was another god locked away for all of time eh? The main man is finally going to have the power he deserves.

And everyone that tried to keep the champ from what was his is going to get what they deserve! If the entire universe, from heaven to hell tried to keep me from what was mine, then I'll destroy everything and reboot all of existence! Every last drop of the Beyonder's power is mine, and unlike that wuss I don't have one damn doubt on what I want!

So let me show you just what one hundred percent of the new and improved ultimate Brad Fowltror can do! Heh, nah, with all I can do now its more like one million percent! Hell, now its "Bradillion" percent, because I'm making the rules, I'm going to remake how EVERYTHING goes down!

Lacus saw Brad's aura was bursting out in all directions and on instinct cast a golden barrier to protect everyone once more.

The barrier held, but Ben looked up and saw the hole back to the upper area began to crack. His view was cut off with a moan and the Enji turned to see Galea was moaning.

The last Black Swan moaned louder, before her entire body dissolved into red fragments, and as it all was turned into raw Magatsuhi, every last drop was devoured into Brad.

As horrifying as that was, Ben saw more cracks from above and braced himself." This his attack or something?"

Ezan eyed the energy carefully before he winced." Its clearly not good Auro. Brad, he's causing this entire reality to break apart!"

Ben and the others quickly saw Ben's rival was not joking, as the hole above shattered, and the Enji and the others quickly saw that every part of the Beyonder's creation, the remains of the Wahrwelt castle, Makai, Scala Al Caelum, New Pork City, every ounce of the Magicant realm and the Wandenreich Empire and whatever stray minion was still active was ripped apart, and moments later was shattered into red fragments.

Brad had all of what was this realm be devoured into him till there was nothing in front of his enemies but pure whiteness.

Lacus saw Brad formed a new demonic mouth on his chest and on his right palm before she grimaced." He's, destroyed everything, this entire dimension is completely void. No, its not even a dimension now, its been destroyed! Now, we are just in the empty space between realms! If, if he does that to are universe, he, he could,"

"He would kill everyone Raystar." Kira stated bluntly." If he causes Nexus of realties to become unstable, if he causes the mortal universe, heaven, hell and all the other smaller realms to collide, and goes back in time, he could truly erase all history, all existence."

"Well that's NOT going to happen." Ben cried out as he resolved himself for the worst. " Brad, you can devour reality itself, but you can't break are resolve that easily! Even this kind of power is not enough! If we could defeat Zannacross when he was merged with every other bad guy in existence! We WON"T lose to you!"

"But you ARE Benny boy!" Brad roared out as spikes formed out of his knuckles and shoulders." Cause this is where I prove I'm better then EVERYONE! I may have just gotten control of the wheels but I'm sure as hell a quick learner!

Heh, Midora and the rest of those Gourment faggots were annoying as hell, but I did agree on them about appetite! My appetite is endless, no matter how much I get it will never be enough as long as someone has something I don't approve of!

Ben saw Brad hunch over like a wild beast ready to go ballistic, glanced at Lacus, Doug, Ezan, Cloud, Shinryudramon, Max, and all of his other comrades, even Kira. He saw Lacus looked confident and smirked back before he got ready to ensure the man that caused him to go through so much suffering did not get the last laugh no matter how savage he got.

Authors Notes: Well, I hope this chapter delivered as a final battle and that the surprise left the impact.

Firstly, quickly, Salem was based off of the enemy from the RWBY series.

Secondly, Lacus using tachyon emissions to make the Almighty "foggy" was based off how in Watchmen Veid/ Ozymandias blinded Doctor Manhatten from seeing his plans in the future.

The past villains being revived was a nod to the part of the showdown in Kingdom Hearts 3 when Xenanort had the others fight as once army of clones.

And now for the big one, Brad. This was my intent from the start for Brad to be the final boss, at last had that Super Perfect Cell part of the showdown lol.

Well, hope it was not to obvious it would end this way lol. The Chaotic Comedian was always intended to be like the X-men Villain Onslaught, the villain that was the fusion of Professor X and Magneto's souls, so in this case it was the fusion of Brad and Doug's darkness, which is my justification that the Chaotic Comedian was not completely like Brad.

I hope it did not seem to out their that Brad could over take the Beyonder, naturally I was inspired by how Doctor Doom absorbed the Beyonder in the original Secret Wars.

In the " Time Runs out Event" that lead to the neo Secret Wars there were a army of Beyonder and they were able to be killed at a great cost.

Brad's fusion with the Beyonder was also inspired by a few other things. One is the DC arc the" Darksied War" where Darkside was killed when the neo Anti-Monitor had Barry Allen merge with the Black Racer and kill him. When he died, the death was so chaotic that it caused reality to fracture and the lines between men and gods would blur, allowing Lex Luthor, Superman, and others to gain the power of god, Superman becoming the God of Strenth, Captian Marvel , AKA Shazam, becoming the God's of Gods, Lex Luthor becoming the god of Apokolips, and others.

Another event is the most recent marvel comic event involving Thanos vie his creator Jim Starling, The Infinity Conflict. In this event Thanos confronted his future self, who pushed him to find a new object, the Astral Regulator.

Unlike the Cosmic Cube, the Infinity Gems and the Heart of the Universe with this new item Thanos Is able to absorb the Infinity Gems, Eternity, Mistress Death, Galactus, the Living Tribunal, and other personifications of the major aspects of reality to become the chief embodiment of all the major components of the main marvel universe.

Alas, the conclusion won't be out for some time but the gist of it is that Brad, being inside the Beyonder, was able to act like a parasite, manipulating the Beyonder, whispering in his mind, nearly like the "Anger " emotion in the Pixar movie Inside out.

He kept whispering in the Beyonder's mind, kind of like how the Joker was messing with Batman's head in Arkham Knight. He kept giving Doug more and more ideas, till part of him split off to merge with Doug's dark half to form the Chaotic Comedian.

Then after Ben and the others weakened him Brad was able to take over the Beyonder's mind and fully take control of his power, leading up to where we are sort of like how the bad guy Envy took over other pepole's bodies in Full Metal Brotherhood, and also a nod to how in Digimon, the enemy Myotismon after being defeated in season one, manpulated Yukio Oikawa in season two from within to revive himself as Malo Myotismon.

The way he was able to absorb the Beyonder was also partily inspired by the relationship Bleach's final villian Yhwach had with the other Quincy in terms of power. He could use his Auswählen ritual to take the energy of his servants. However his second in command, Jugram Haschwalth , had the special power to share Yhwach 's power, to act as the the substitute as the monarch when he slept, Yhawch refered him as his " other half" for he could use his powers, including the The Almighty.

Bleach did not do to much with this relationship between Haschwalth and Yhwach but I felt I could use a version of that for how the Chaotic Comedian could overcome the Beyonder.

Some of his " Ultimate form" was inspired by another Thanos comic, Infinity Finale, which took place before Infinity Conflict. In that Adam Warlock from another reality had his entire univierse merge with him, giving the power of everyone and everything in that reality. That's more or less Brad's current state now, though since it was a " fresh" reality its not as populated as the main one.

In the end, I knew you can't top a enemy that's fused with all the bad guys in the univierse, so figured to make the final boss someone who's ego and rage is so massive its consumed the entire Universe , or at least A Universe into him.
