Chapter 250: Endgame of Life's True Desire!

As intense as the showdown with the Beyonder had been, to everyone outside the battle zone thanks to the Supreme Kai of Time's Time-Lock only a few seconds had past.

But even with his intention divided, the segment of the Beyonder that was attacking the main universe quickly eroded Chrona's stamina.

The pink haired woman saw her enemies hateful look and grit her teeth." Damn it, I can't be out of time, I'm the freaking master of time!"

"ONLY BECAUSE YOU'RE A FRAUD WHO IS MESSING WITH THE TRUE MASTER OF EVERYTHING!" The Beyonder roared out. "BUT NOW ITS TIME FOR ALL THE FRAUDS TO LEARN THEIR PLACE!"

Goku saw the Beyonder's eyes widen before the Saiyan warrior braced himself." Guys, he's about to go all out. It's now or never!"

"ITS ALWAYS NEVER FOR YOU LOSERS MONKEY! THE END OF EVERYTHING YOU…HUH? NO…NOOOOO! RAHHH!"

The Beyonder suddenly had his eyes twitched, before yelling in pain. It was at this point that Brad took over his soul, for his star like attack suddenly shattered.

Cosmos saw her Heavily Star of Creation spell and all the other attacks it merged with suddenly rocket off and smash through the titanic being's chest.

Vegeta saw the Beyonder keep yelling in pain before the being trying to destroy the entire universe looked like he was melting, causing the Saiyan Prince to raise an eyebrow." Just like that? Did we push him so hard he had some sort of…divine stroke?"

Gohan noticed that the Reapers and the other remaining beings the Beyonder created all start to twitch and dissolve into red fragments. As they all dove into the Schwarzwelt Goku's son grit his teeth." I don't think we are that lucky Vegeta. Don't know for sure or anything, but seems like the Beyonder's so frustrated he's pulling back to try and shatter everything in an explosion of rage! We can't get cocky now!"

Goku was about to say something when suddenly the Schwarzwelt portal glow red before the entire area shook. Piccolo saw that it nearly felt like the entire universe was shaking before the Namek winced." Good job Gohan, only took you a few million years to learn the mistakes you made from Cell and Buu but, better late than never.

Still, this is rather bad. It really does feel like this punk's going to erupt with rage, and I'm honestly not sure if the universe can take it."

"Damn it." Vegeta seethed out." Did those Enji clowns just die instantly in there? They should have been the decoys while the real elite got the job done!"

Goku paused for a moment as he focused his senses on the rift between realities. After a few seconds the Saiyan narrowed his eyes." Trunks and the others did not fail Vegeta. I felt it just now, whatever that Ben did, it hurt. It hurt enough for him to realize for the first time he could really die.

But, like when Frieza, Cell, and all those other smug guys had a reality check, don't seem like he's taking it well. Alright, time to see what kind of rage this so-called God can throw out! Should be a wild ride!"

Krillin saw Goku's usual zeal and gulped. "Oh come on Goku stop getting exited for when bad guys do bad stuff! I mean seriously this is not even a fight sounds like he's just going to be mad enough to try and blow up everything! Still, I thought he already was trying to do that?"

"Yes but this feels different." Piccolo answered." Before he felt like a mix of pride and rage, now it's all rage. Wither it's from something on this side or the other, something is making him furious enough to just try and blow everything in existence apart, consequences be damned. Either he's crazy enough to think he can survive it or just does not care."

"Yah think that to Piccolo?" Goku threw out." Well, was to slow to stop Cell but really not keen on letting that happen again, since I don't think I can use Instant Transmission to send him off.

I mean…how do you grab a whole reality? Maybe if I grab him really hard? Eh, only one way to find out right guys? Let's get on the other side of the hole already before we miss the fight!"

Everyone heard a primal roar that seemed to be loud enough to cause the very universe to shake, before a wave of blood red and ebony energy erupted out in all directions.

Vegeta saw the wave of sheer power seemed to twist the very universe even more before he winced and powered up." Damn it Kakarot, just had to open your big mouth again! Huh?"

The Schwarzwelt rippled, before suddenly something shot out. Goku prepared to strike when he saw that the projectile was a ship, the ship that was none other than the Neo-Highwind. The Saiyan raised an eyebrow but as he saw the ship looked like it was about to break apart he warped in front of the ship and caught it.

As his comrades joined him Gohan saw the ship's shields shatter before he winced." That's the ship Ben Auro uses right? Did they escape?"

"Well since that was the only ship that made it through let's hope so, it would be rather troublesome getting information out of corpses."

Just as Vegeta was about to say something the sizzling ship's intercom crackled on." Don't be so jumpy big green this is no zombie ship yet!" Cid yelled out." Though it might be soon if you boys don't watch how you handle things! My baby used every last ounce of juice not to go down with the ship!"

"What do you mean?" Goku blurted out curiously." So, you Enji and Trunks caused the Beyonder to blow up so bad his entire universe blew up? That's one hardcore fight alright!"

"Calm down you damn junky not sure the fight's over yet. I was keeping this bird at a distance case everyone needed a quick escape, but suddenly things spiked harder than my drink!

The whole damn pocket dimension suddenly shattered like Shera's wedding present with a bang so hardcore it knocked us right out of the park! If it were not for Raystar pushing herself out there and giving everyone a barrier, including my entire ship, honestly not sure we would have made it.

Just hope she did not weaken herself just to save the likes of me. Living just to die a bit later with everything else would really suck."

"Wait, so the others are still in there?" Gohan asked." And you're the only one on the ship?"

"Not just me. Some of the non-fighters and the wounded who would just get in the way were holding up. They got King Atem on board. The Beyonder did something to mess him up, but he still looks in better shape than old man Myers."

"What, your majesty is wounded?" Mahado blurted out as the Dark Magician and some of the other of the King's servants such as Doctor Fate, Doctor Strange, and some of the Enji Masters like Zoda, Eraqus, and some of Ben and Lacus's newer allies like Toriko, Kale, Mitsuru, Ryūko flew over to the Neo-Highwind.

Mahado sensed the energy of his longtime friend and took a breath of relief." Thank the heavens Ben, Lacus, and the others were able to get to him in time. I'm coming aboard."

As the top wizard in all of the Lylat Kingdom warped to where he sensed the government's official ruler's energy the group found themselves in front of some of the Enji that stayed behind like Jude, Rose, Realia, and Garnet before Mahado saw Atem lying on one of the beds, and turned pale as he realized there was a blank spread of skin where his mouth should be.

Bugs Bunny was also one of the ones there, and as everyone glanced at the cartoony rabbit Bugs gave everyone a shrug." What's up doc? Seriously though, are you guys docs? Cause theses guys really look like they could use one. This lummox here is nothing but a big fat phony!"

The new arrivals saw Bugs was pointing at Robotnik, but at being pointed at the self proclaimed master of Robotics looked flustered." Don't blame me! I can fix any robot but organics are another story unless I put them through the Roboticizer first! Besides…just about looks like any doctor would have an uphill battle here."

Mahado just cursed in frustration as he walked up." Your majesty! What happened!? Did the Beyonder morph you like he turned one of the others into a talking rabbit? Was it Fitter? It has his snark."

"Nah, the rabbit is another defector. As for the king, seems like that punk was just messing around and removed the King's mouth to show off." Cable stated bluntly." We checked and nothing else seems changed with him, though the healers can't seem to heal the wound."

As Mahado looked horrified, Doctor Fate crossed his arms." Don't fret, it's just that it's not a mere wound but a re-alteration of his very body. Still can be reversed with enough focus and power, something that seemed like was in short supply in a hectic battle that would decide the fate of the universe. Still, I'll help. By the will of Nabu…order will be restored to this man!"

The wizard in the golden helmet made a hand gesture before a golden hieroglyph that stood for the symbol of the ankh formed on Atem's mouth. Hell-Boy saw the man with the Millennium Puzzle's mouth slowly reform before the red demon snickered." Heh, you Lords of Order still know your stuff.

Too bad your still all a bunch of stiff helmet heads. Whatever, the kid looked like he was going to be alright as long as someone could have gave him a new mouth, the old man looks like the one that's a lost cause."

Mahado raised an eyebrow and swerved around to see Master Myers was still motionless. Master Eraqus, Zoda, and Sieghart all saw Myers was hardly breathing before the blue haired wizard who taught James magic grit his teeth." No, Grand Master! Is he, dead? What happened?"

"He's not dead, but I'm afraid he is tethering on the edge Master Siegheart." Rose uttered wearily." He tried to put a bold front, but we all know his health had been poor since he laxed on his training. Ben and the others were split up from the main group and a vicious enemy corner everyone.

It seems Master Myers poured every last ounce of energy into an attack to finish the villain off, but it seems the effort was nearly like when Krile's grandfather Galuf Halm Baldesion sacrificed himself to save her, Bartz, and the others from Exdeath's assault.

We healed his body completely, but it does little good if his soul is shattered."

After saying this Doctor Fate had healed Atem had recovered enough for his mouth to move once more. The ruler saw Myers and was upset enough by the news to cough violently." No, don't…die now…Master Myers. After how hard we fought, everything we fought for…can't fall apart at the whims of a madman. It, can't end like this."

Doctor Strange looked around to look at the sky before the wizard grimaced." We are in the endgame here everyone. The Eye of Agamotto is showing me all the possible outcomes of the upcoming events. And, out of 14,000,605 outcomes, there was only one way for the universe to survive this. We better not waste the time we have left."

As everyone looked at Atem the Millennium Puzzle suddenly glowed before a light lit up the room. As it faded a weary voice uttered," Don't fret…your majesty. Things may be dire…because of are enemies game…but it's not over yet. My flame…is dim…but it's not out yet…everything is not over…just yet!"

Everyone paused in shock as Master Myers suddenly grasped his Primus blade on the table next to him, and gave a deep, tense breath.

As the leader of the Enji Knights rose to his feet Atem turned to him weakly." Master Myers, your alive?"

"For the moment old friend." The bearded man responded wearily. Jude was one of the many who looked on in shock before the Enji from Rieze Maxia rubbed his eyes." This is really you Grand Master? No offense but it's just that you seemed rather dead, your aura had been all but shattered."

"Heh, I thought I was dead myself young Mathis. But, while I'm sure I exerted all my soul to defeat that villain Kirei, it seems my comrades cherished me enough to rekindle the flame of my soul with sparks of their own.

There is nothing I value more than the bonds of my comrades, and that's why I'll do everything I can to ensure they don't perish.

I would gladly be content waking up after the fighting concluded, but based on how everyone looks, it seems we are not in the clear yet."

"Ben…Lacus…and most of the others are confronting the Beyonder this very moment." Atem responded weakly." I tried to hold off the Beyonder from getting enraged at the game he was playing as long as I could, but my options were limited. I, tried to do what I could but I felt so powerless."

"Don't blame yourself Atem." Myers uttered warmly." You were in quite the dire situation and you did the best you could to survive. I'm proud of you, and I'm sure your father is proud of you in heaven as well."

"Father…I did everything I could to honor his legacy. I thought I succeeded when I kept the Lylat Kingdom together throughout the entire civil war. But I thought we proven we had succeeded when are government endured the worst Zannacross threw at us.

But, I got lax. I thought the programs I was supporting were the best way to ensure peace. But, after seeing how Doug reacted so bitterly, I realized there are most likely countless others who loath the Sibyl System and are other polices, and that Doug's just one of the few that had the strength to voice it.

I was so worried about holding on to what I worked for that I pushed Ben, Lacus and all of you to take actions that betrayed what my father believed in, the values of freedom."

"Heh, forgive me your majesty but your reminding me of Aknamkanon, for your father voiced several of the same fears to me. Right before he died, the guilt he had after realizing the crimes of your uncle Aknadin Xehanort committed under his watch and the start of Ansem and Weil Zabi's push for worlds to leave the Lylat Kingdom made him express doubts over everything he did.

Don't feel guilty Atem, we all know you did your best to see your people were happy and safe. If you lost sight, its only because we all did.

I know Ben, Lacus, and all the others were worried about letting me down, and because of that they rushed to trust the Master of Master's plan without thinking it through. I became more worried about leaving a good legacy then doing what is truly right for all, for the people I swore to protect.

The Lylat Kingdom, the Enji Knights, I and your father spent nearly an entire lifetime trying to guide humanity to be the best they can be, the best state they could be to keep the darkness in man's heart at bay.

I always wanted to have faith in every person. Alas after all I seen, I knew that it could not be completely random, because without those with a strong light as the bastion of their heart, those with weak hearts would, they did drown all around them with their darkness.

I feared the return of the darkness so much, that I thought we had to go beyond what we did in the past to ensure are hard won peace would not unravel. But my passion consumed me, and I forgot a real leader knows that destiny is outside their control and accepts that and just does what they can.

Kira, I so quickly forgot the mistakes my own son made. Pride blinded me, I see that now. While Kira made his own choices, I hanged on too much to hopes to not have to see my failure, because it was easier for him to handle the" Hard" work to keep my own hands clean.

We all worry about doing all we can, and I worried about being there for people so much that I let down my own family.

By trying to do right to all, we seem to do wrong to those we care most about. I was unable to realize Xehamaru's true ambitions, realize Craft and other's disgust in the state of things, and so many others.

I was not able to realize the extent Brad Fowltror had been controlling Lacus.

I tried to be the ultimate warrior of light, but by being so stubborn about looking in the light, I overlooked the pain going on in the darkness that I could have easily seen if I tried.

I just wish it was not till the end that I realized the extent of my folly."

Eraqus saw Myers's dismay and put but his hand on the fellow Master's shoulder. "It's not too late, it's not the end for are successors Master Myers. We just have to help ensure they have time to learn from our mistakes."

I, can never make up for failing Karone, Shin, and Kira, and in my youth my cousins Lann and Reynn so utterly. But, I'll do what I can to honor those who died for the ideals I championed…till my last breath I'll fight to ensure the Enji Knights live up to the ideas I always swore they meant! So that's why, I'll help the others fight to protect are dear universe to the end."

Mahado saw Myers's resolve, but also saw how haggard he still looked before the Dark Magician took a deep breath." I understand wanting to be there for your comrades, but you're still recovering from nearly dying. No disrespect, but frankly you would just hinder the others ability to fight at this point. Though to be honest, in the end Ben and Lacus are the only essential ones."

"Heh, your logic is sound Mahado, but my heart just can't agree. I know at this point it's out of my hands, but I can't just be a bystander. I won't just needlessly throw my life away, but I just can't do nothing!"

"Careful, we must be." Zoda replied." The fate of everything, the next few moments will decide."

"True old friend. All right, just what is going on?"

"Well, Ben, Lacus, Doug, and the others had just defeated the Beyonder's champions before he erased my mouth in a fit of rage." Atem stated bluntly." After that Ezan warped me out of his inner domain and that's more or less were we are at. Since we are still alive it seems that the champions of justice are giving a damn good fight."

Everyone felt another vibration that nearly knocked Myers off his feet. As his fellow master's caught him the elderly warrior of light looked out the window." And I take it are enemy does not enjoy losing."

Atem saw the light outside get brighter before he braced himself." As do most, but the Beyonder does seem like one who can make his chaotic whims reality."

Suddenly from the portal between dimensions an explosion of raw malice erupted out. The Z-Fighters, the Star Fox team, the various Gundam's and the others nearby all tried to get out of the way as Cosmos saw the sheer power erupting and used all of her divine power to place a barrier around the region of space.

As she flinched from the impact of her first son's raw anger and frustration the Ethereal Queen of Light braced herself." This sheer power, many of the edicts of nature are falling victim to this assault. If it goes on, all existence will crumble. My son's mad rage, must be put to an end."

Myers saw Cosmos's strain and gave his comrades a wary look." Everyone brace themselves. Even if there is only a millisecond where we can make a difference, we must watch for that one opportunity. The Beyonder must learn this is our home, not his!"

The leader of the Enji lead those that would follow outside the Neo-Highwind, ready to fight till the end.

Cosmos saw her champions resolve, and upon seeing Myers's strain her eyes became consumed with sorrow." Rodimus…I am sorry that I put you through such stress, to the very end. You tried to fulfill my wish the moment you touched the crystal. I knew it would not be easy to oppose Zannacross, but I did misjudge how difficult things would be upon the light's victory. But one way or another, this madness will end soon."

"It will end soon Cosmos, but no matter how this goes you must be prepared for the true end of an era."

Cosmos saw everything had suddenly frozen, and just as she wondered if the Beyonder did something she saw the One Above All, once more in the oval head "Zeno' shape casually walk in front of Cosmos.

The queen of light saw the one that was nearest to her" father" look like he is on a walk before she raised an eyebrow." T, that is you Supreme Being?"

"Yes, this is not the Beyonder's illusion. He still is unaware of my existence, or I should say what he has become is not aware."

"What, what do you mean?"

"I have little time to explain so forgive me Cosmos but I can not " Dilly Dally". If I take too long he will notice, and if he tries to go after me then the effort will cause serious damage to the universe regardless of if he succeeds.

As always even at this stage I prefer to act indirectly, so the time has come to see if Ben Auro, Lacus Raystar, and the other champions of the light will prevail. We seen that life prevails over death, but now it's time to see if chaos or order is the true nature of life, what the true subconscious desire triumphs all. Cosmos, as Enna Cross told you it's time for your dream for the universe to end, so that life itself can wake up to reality."

"What, just do you mean?"

"I mean, I want to see what your true desire, your true will is, no matter how painful. I want the fantasy to end. I want to see the true desire you, the light, and the entire universe has. I want to see, the truth. It will be ok, even if the truth is painful, the truth will set you free. My child, choose wisely."

The One Above All gave a friendly, nearly casual wave, before he vanished as quickly as he appeared. As time resumed Cosmos saw the sheer amount of energy trying to erupt out of her new golden cage and looked determined." Even more then before…he's trying to bend all time and space, like he's diverting everything to crush the universe, and everything else into his hand so that there can be nothing but him.

In some ways this is just like when I and Zannacross first dealt with you. For all of the time that has passed, it's just me and my children trying to contain you, only that this time there is even more to lose.

I, I don't know about Zannacross, but I am sorry it ended up this way. You must know, what I did was not out of malice, but out of the desire to protect what was dear to me. I know, that desire lead to your pain but, sometimes one has to do harm for the greater good.

At least…that's what I told myself again and again across history as people suffered so that others could prosper. Zannacross just assumed since we were the most powerful, are will was what was right and that was that. It's easy to say things could have been done differently, but I won't make excuses.

Her response was only an even louder yell, that started to sound like mad laughter. Cosmos used all of her power to keep the Beyonder's energy from consuming all life as those like Goku, Myers, and others got as close as they could to try and get to the source of this conflict.

Little did they realize just how brutal things have truly gotten, but now we turn back to where we left off are hero's last time, who were staring down the man whose appetite for power truly seemed endless.

After Brad's torrent of wicked laughter at last receded Aeris was one of the many around the madman who was carefully looking at the current state of their enemy and the change in surroundings his outburst caused.

Upon seeing nothing but pure white emptiness around her the former flower girl from Midgar could not help but grasp her weapon's tightly." No, it may have just been stray enemies, but I felt life before. Now, I don't feel anything, nothing but pure emptiness. After everything we did, it can't end like this, not to him."

Brad laughed at Aeris's despair before he punched his chest hard enough to cause those around him to feel their bone's quake." Tough luck dame, the new boss has to tear down the house to lay down the new law! Don't worry, you will be too busy being my slave to worry about something like the end of the old world! That's right, I'll beat out every thought I don't want out of everyone!"

As Brad licked his lips Kira narrowed his eyes." Don't let this barbarian's boast unravel you so quickly Cetra. True, he's completely shattered the Phantom Fields and absorbed every speck of energy that composed of this reality, but so far it's only this dimension that was devoured. Tsc, even the Grand Master and the rest on board Cid's ship made out, though they got blasted out of this dimension."

Ezan looked upward for a second before he nodded." He's correct, these eyes can see are reality in the distance…its not too late."

"Oh it sure as hell is rich boy!" Brad boasted out." It was over the moment the main man at last got the power he deserved! All I have to do is put my foot up the universe's ass, and squeeze till it all comes crashing down!

"Damn it Brad…no matter how devious you get you're not god!" Ben roared out as he had energy swords surround him. "Just because you're a heartless bastard who stole some power that was not his it does not mean your god Brad, before this is over you will realize just how wrong you really are!"

"I must agree with my former apprentice on some accounts." Kira added flatly." I know from my own experiences, even with the perfect ritual one does not just adjust instantly to true godhood.

After all, that's the only reason I lost to you fools back in Neo-Pandemonium. No matter how perfect the assimilation was, he won't be adjusted just yet, and that's are key to victory.

Brad saw Ben's rival have his aura of light and darkness explode and just spat on the ground." Never wanted to be something as worthless as a "true" warrior "Kaiba. Cause a "true" warrior's got jack on a god!"

"Before this is over, you will know what true power is Fowltror! Inferno style…Dragon of the Darkness Flame!"

Brad saw a massive dragon composed of black flames and lighting coming for him and snickered. The traitor to the Enji wound back his right fist like he was going up to bat, when suddenly he felt an impact collide into him.

The blow was powerful enough to unleash a shock-wave, but Brad just rubbed his nose like he just got a bug bite. As a few more shock-waves went off the man with half a skull face smirked." Tsc, this is that fancy new trick you copied from that Madara queer Kaiba? Sounds like what a gutless sneaky punk like you would pull all right. But your forgetting something."

Brad snarled out as he flung his fist so fast most of the others could not see it. Four sonic booms burst out all around him before an instant later he launched his right fist into the air, unleashing enough force to shatter the Dragon of the Darkness flame instantly. Without even moving he flung his left fist out to intercept Ezan just as he tried to strike with a Judgment Burst.

Brad's eyes widened with mad glee as he saw the Enji Knight's shocked reaction. The son of Ansem Zeon attempted to use his power to phase through Brad, only for his opponent's eyes to glow before Brad grasped Ezan's sword arm.

His limb glowed, before it bypassed Ezan's power and grasped the limb tightly." Those tricks may work on any mook but I'm beyond that now! I can sense your little shadow pals with my instincts, and I can grab you out of whatever place your trying to hide with my power!

No trick's going to bail you out from a REAL man's wrath. If you thought I was nasty to you before as the Chaotic Comedian Ezan, this time you're going to watch! Brad prepared to grasp Ezan with his hand, till the warrior of light suddenly switched places with Ben thanks to the Amenotejikara spell.

Just as Brad realized what happened the golden-haired man roared out." You're not hurting anyone else you monster! Shin-Divine Flare Edge!"

Ben swung down the sacred blade with all the might he could muster. But to his horror, while he had every intention of cleaving Brad in half, the man he hated more then any other punched the blade, and was able to push the attack in place. Brad had to put some effort, but his knuckles glowed as he formed red spikes out of them he was able to keep the massive blade of energy from hurting him.

The many time turned coat saw Ben's shock and bellowed out with delight." What's wrong Benny boy? Thought you would just cut me down? I tell you what…it's not going down like last time! Last time, you made me look like a god damn chump cause the angels juiced you up beyond your natural means! Nothing more than hackers modding a mook, nothing but cheating!

But now I got my own godly power! And now that everyone has what they really deserve, it means there is nothing stopping me from,"

In an instant Ben slammed his smaller blade of darkness at Brad's face, but as Brad saw this, he suddenly caught the blade in his teeth. The embodiment of all of humanity's sin saw Ben's shock and snickered before kneeing Ben in the gut.

The Enji was knocked back around a mile before he caught himself, and as he realized Brad was coming for him he had energy swords of various shapes burst out to intercept them. Brad shattered them instantly, but it delayed him enough for Ben to block his punch with the Divine Mugen Nova.

A shock-wave shook the entire area and rattled Ben's bones, and as he saw his comrades struggle to hold their ground he could feel Brad's breath and glared back at him. The sight of Ben's murderous gaze just made Brad laugh." You think that evil eye look of yours is supposed to scare me wuss?

I been getting looks like that all my life from those in my way! All it does is prove to me after all this time I'm still in your head! Knowing that the second the person sees you he can't focus on anything else shows just how much power you have over them! After all this time, I still was in your head! That shows, just how much you knew deep down, that I was better!"

Those shock-waves from his recent blows, the further these waves get from their point of origin…the more powerful its destructive power gets. The short story is, even if Ben is able to block these punches, if the shock-waves escape to the outside universe…in theory could unravel entire realms and make things as empty as this bleed outside realm. It's like, if you drop a coin in a pond. Ben and Brad are the coin, all reality is the ripples.

The Shock-waves are subject to something called the Inverse Square rule. This is a concept in Physics.

The Inverse Square Rule states that a shock-wave gets weaker the farther it travels. Specifically 1/(distance × distance)The radius of human fist is roughly 5cm.

That means every 5cm the Shock wave gets weaker, however this makes things very complicated.

Max saw Ben furiously striking at Brad countless times per second before he cracked his neck." Well, I'm already dead, but I won't let Brad take my pride away from me as well! I'm no god, but I have a few ideas to be a pain in this god's ass! James, could use your help for this trick. I,"

Another shock-wave cut the former member of the Cobra unit off before Max grit his teeth." If I only got one shot, I'm damn going to make it count. But this bastard owns a hell of a debt and he's sure going to pay his tab!"

As Doug, Cloud, Aqua, and the others nearby nodded everyone watched the showdown above tensely, wondering if anything they could do could help, and at the moment just focusing on standing their ground from the shock-waves Brad was unleashing from each blow.

Ben saw the last shock-wave Brad unleashed cause the gateway between realities to ripple before he winced." No, that energy is going to spill out to home at this rate! Won't…let you…hurt…anyone else!"

As Brad gave a beastly roar and slammed a hammer blow with both fists, in return Ben swung his blade with all of his might.

As the blows collided Ben released a wave of energy from the divine blade, and the energy diffused the shock-wave of energy before it could leave Brad's fist.

Lacus saw the area around her and allowed herself a small sigh of relief." Ben, you did it! You were able to counteract his energy!"

"Just made it." Ben replied wearily." Thankfully, fought enough "deities" by now to get a feel of their energy. Well, at least that's one less way Brad can break every, GUH!"

Ben's relief distracted him long enough for Brad to smash his chest with a shoulder charge. As he felt a cracking sound Brad tried a follow up uppercut, only for Ben to spawn a Shadow Clone to try and tackle his enemy. Brad merely bite the clone's head off with his teeth before going on to grasp Ben by the head.

As he instantly put pressure on the smaller man's head Brad sneered yet again." Tsc, delaying this just is going to piss me off to make it worst for everyone when I win. Just as Brad noticed his former girlfriend, the angel made two hand gestures and had the Golden Imperial Crystal shimmer before she unleashed a golden and white circle of energy. The circle shaped projectile went into Brad's mouth the moment he was going to fire.

Brad's aura suddenly turned to the same color as Lacus's. As a result his attack shattered and broke off in all directions, blasting out of various parts of Brad's body.

Lacus saw her former abusive boyfriend scream out in rage before she gave a small smirk at the sight of her current lover avoiding death a while longer." Brad…You still only see the world in your narrow view, and still think that view is all that matters.

But even if you gained ungodly power as a result of your treachery, it still is not enough. Unlimited brute force and being a savage psychopath will never be enough for you to have your way with all existence!

Ben unleashed an explosion from his fist, and the instant Brad was knocked back the warrior of light followed up with." Ultimate Sekiha Tenkyo…Shinryukenha…TIMES TEN!

While it was even more powerful than the attack that killed Brad last time, the champion of the light watched the explosion tensely to see just how much damage the attack did, but things were even worst then he feared as a hand shot out from the still ongoing explosion to grasp Ben by the neck.

Brad swiftly emerged, and to everyone's dread while he had some burnt marks and his eyes were glowing the blast inflected no lasting damage.

The pure evil man chuckled at seeing Ben choke, and swiftly punched him again with enough force to unleash another shock-wave. As Ben coughed up blood Brad's laugh only got louder." "Max and I and just enough time to go over the formula for the Anti-Enji bullets, so I used alchemy to give everyone Anti-Enji projectiles for this one battle. Even if it can't kill him, it should disrupt away at him long enough for us to push this closer to the Coup De Grâce."

"Got that right Elrond." Max uttered as his sword again blazed with energy." He may have stole a lot, but he's no god, just some wise ass punk who made a deal with the devil to get more then he deserves! But we're collecting are debt right now!"

I was ready to take the easy path, but because of all this I had a wake-up call on what it means to do things the right way, and that there are no shortcuts to true justice.

Maybe people will find what I do evil no matter how I try and do things, maybe there will always be people who won't want to do what I or the group I like want.

But even if there is never going to be total harmony, there will always be a right way and a wrong way to do things. Brad…all I know now…is that letting you have your way will be wrong for anyone that's not you!

The winged woman realized the source of all creation felt softer than she expected before she looked directly above her, and saw Cosmos still struggling. As Lacus saw the portal of time above Brad took in that look as his former girlfriend getting fearful before his grin widened." Brad's eyes glowed, and he had his outer body have its right arm twitch, before bursting out in Cosmos's direction. The Ethereal Queen of Light dodged out of the way, and was shocked to see the arm keep extending till it went right through the portal of time.

As soon as it emerged at the present it punched a hole through reality. Brad laughed madly as the entire limb glowed with red energy." That's right…justice, light, ALL of that crap is just words! But power is power, and I'll just keep taking everything till it's mine! I am the ultimate power, I am the natural winner! I am, GUAH!"

While Brad expected to have the additional power of the reality he punched into fuel him, instead he felt even more pain as an outrageous voice screamed out," YOU ARE NOT THE ULTIMATE RULER OF ALL MAGGOT…I AM!"

From the hole Brad made a large red eye appeared, and everyone quickly realized Brad had punched into the Trans-Dimensional Prison of Chaos Zannacross Necron to try and absorb him. The Shin-Emperor of Darkness instantly was furious at being tried to be absorbed as dark energy crackled around all of Brad's limb." MISRABLE FAILURE! YOU WILL NOT CONTROL ME! I WILL DESTROY YOU UTTERLY! SUBMIT!"

Shinryudramon saw Brad's outer body start to crack even more before he saw half of it crackle with darkness and wince." Oh come on…SERIOUSLY? Brad just breaks Zannacross out just like that? So now we are back to where we started?"

"No…this won't go how either of them wish!" Cosmos screamed out as she still focused on splitting the Beyonder's soul from Brad." Zannacross, as long as your essence is tied to Brad, you're in the same link as I am at the moment. No matter how horrible you have become, you will make things right to the first son you wronged!"

With Zannacross still weak and unfocused after being sealed for so long, Cosmos was able to seal him off so that he could only grasp on to Brad, forming a circular link of soul energy going around his body that was tearing at Brad from all sides.

His plan to desperately gain more energy backfiring with him now being split apart and attacked from all sides causing him to feel even more pain, Brad screamed out with pure outrage." No…I won't lose…I CAN'T LOSE! I am Brad Fowltror, the manliest man of all time! You all are cheating son's of bitch's, trying to rob me of what is mine! You can't stop me yah hear? I'm nature's winner, no matter what you try and do, I'll win because its nature's course!

I am inevitable…I'M THE UNSTOPABLE JUGGA…GUAH!"

As the attacks of hero's across history still bombarded him Ben, with Lacus's help stabbed him in the chest with the Divine Mugen Nova. As Brad stared at him Ben had his eyes shimmer with light." You been yelling that since we first met Brad, but in the end you're going to hear me! You forgot so I'm going to make it clear what I am!"

Ben grasped the Divine Mugen Nova hard enough for blood to come out of his hand as his energy erupted enough to light up the entire area of space. With Lacus slowly healing his injuries Ben had enough energy to slash at Brad with his blade as he still was bombarded from the Universal Chronal Judgment attack. As Ben slashed across Brad he left a pillar of golden light in his enemies body.

Just as Brad staggered Ben unleashed slash after slash while saying," Like I said once before Brad, I am the white void, I am the cold steel of justice! I am the just sword.

With this blade of mine that's burning red, I'll grasp victory by reaping the sins of this cosmos, and cleanse it in the fires of righteousness! Take this Brad, my anger, my love for my friends, and the entire universe's hatred for you and your kind! Shin...Chrono…Break...Slash!"

Ben preformed a variation of his Justice Force Slash, only this time by the time he finished his combo the pillars of energy resembled a clock. Even as Ben slashed right through Brad's body the taller man yelled out of anger." Damn…loser! No matter how many times you slash me, you will never kill me, NEVER!"

"Oh by the time this is done, not only will you die Brad, but you will be dead to history forever! The name was not just for show, I'm killing the "time" your soul is allowed to exist in the universe. The basic version is, your very existence is being banned from life itself. More than that, this time I'm not just killing your body, I'm killing your mind. A soul with no mind, is just random energy. I know how much it sucked for my grandmother to loose her memory, but it's a fate someone like you deserve!

Normally when someone dies there soul is frozen in time, when someone dies as a decrepit person demons discard there souls quickly because its "boring" torturing those who won't even react.

Angels can restore the souls of good old souls at the request of a loved one in heaven, but Brad, there is NO one that would want that from you!

I'm going beyond a normal death, I'm killing every aspect of your being, your memory, your will, I'm destroying EVERY part of you!"

"Man what kind of joke is that? Think you're some sort of badass? You think, huh?"

Brad started to realize his hands were starting to crack, and wrinkle like he was ageing rapidly. He saw his outer body was starting to crack as well before he started to feel numb, and realized Ben might not be joking after all.

The realization caused Brad to yell with berserk fury and his eye twitched with fear for the first time as he charged at Ben with all of his might to try and rip the blade out of him." No…NO! You bastard…YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME! YOUR NOTHING BUT,"

"A loser?" Ben cried as he pushed even harder." You lost Brad, this is the truth, this is a fact no matter how much you rage! YOU'RE the one the universe rejected, not me! Your soul will be broken down even further then when you died last time. But even if you have any sanity left, you will be feeling your death over and over in an endless loop."

"No…I won't let you do this to me! This is all your fault, ALL YOUR FAULT! I am perfect, its everyone else's fault for being such losers! And if I'm going to lose, YOUR LOOSING WITH ME!"

Brad made a last-ditch attempt to try and tackle Ben and Lacus and desperately collide into the Big Bang, but before he could, Doug came crashing in and slammed his fist down on Brad's jaw.

As he heard Brad yell the man that was infected by Brad gave a stern," Its over Brad, at least take your death like a man."

Kira then came crashing down, stabbing his sword through Brad's right arm." The verdict is in…enjoy your throne clown."

Max came crashing next, with Link, Cloud, Ezan, Zero, Aqua and others all crashing there blades down in his body to keep him down before Ben's cousin uttered," here's your crown, "Champ".

Realizing he can't move, and that his body was starting to break down he yelled at the top of his lungs to desperately have his rage blow everything away." THIS CANT BE HAPPENING! I AM UNSTOPABLE! I...AM...PERFEEEECTT! I…AM…A WINNER!"

Lacus went right into Brad's face, and for a moment she looked sorrowful before muttering," Brad…you…your."

Just as Brad looked confused Lacus slit Brad's throat with the Oathkeeper before she helped Ben push the blade deeper." Still just a horrible monster that I never want to see again! This is not a falsehood, this is reality's response to your wickedness. I want you to fully realizee there's no forgiveness, no coming back from what you have done. There is a price to pay, and your finnaly going to pay it.

There's no mercy for men like you, and even if there is I"m making sure you don't get it! No matter what, I'll always renounce your truth! I'll make sure my light will banish your kind rage from life! So this is how it ends for you Brad, your time's up!"

"Got that right Lacus." Ben uttered passionetly." Brad, your end, HAS COME! And now...HEAT SOUL END!"

Lacus and Ben both swung the Divine Mugen Nova down completely, and the pillars of energy nearly made a clock like sound before a golden pillar erupted. Brad's legs then shattered, before his arms did to. Brad gave one last gurgled outburst of," GURAHARAHAIA!" before his eyes and tongue melted away.

The rest of his body, his soul, his very being, rapidly aged till a man over a century old before his face melted like he saw the ark of the covenant. Slowly but surely, his entire body shattered into dust.

An explosion broke out, and the outer Brad quickly shattered as well, unleashing a barrage of multicolored explosions like it was its own fireworks show.

Shinryudramon saw every trace of Brad Fowltror fade out of existence before James the area carefully." So…is it over? Is it finally…truly over?"

Doug, remembering how they thought it was over last time looked around before he cracked his neck." Well dude, no fish to jump around this time but that's as dead as anyone gets. I mean, only took him going through like, five or six different deaths am I right? Still, way to go the extra mile guys…you did it."

Ben felt every inch of his body burning, but still held himself together to look around." I don't feel him at all. That just might have done it. I, I stopped him. Lacus…are you ok."

Lacus took a few heavy breaths before she squeezed Ben's hand warmly." I'm ok Ben. Just sorry Yuna, Tidus, Muzét, and so many more had to die because of his hate. Just, hope this is really the last time anyone has to die because of his hate."

Ezan looked around before he grasped the Nu-Epyon tightly." Auro, don't get off guard yet.

Brad Fowltror truly seems terminated after that assault, but don't forget there are other matters to address."

Cloud saw a flash of light above, and saw the circle of energy that now had Cosmos, the Beyonder, and Zannacross bound together before he tensed up." That's an understatement.

Maybe, Cosmos will be able to keep Zannacross contained, but even without Brad, the Beyonder was still the source of his power. If being freed from Brad's influence won't change his views, we are back to square one here."

Ben and everyone else saw the light that was the Beyonder's essence take the shape of his humanoid form, but now it looked much younger, nearly like a teenager.

Cosmos saw her first son look dazed before she took a deep breath. "My son, how are you feeling?"

The Beyonder looked dazed as he looked around. I feel…light…headed."

"That's good, you had a lot weighing you down. I am glad it did not crush you."

"You…really feel that way, after all I did?"

"I truly am my son. I'm glad, we could reconnect, before its to late. I".

She was cut off as a roar of rage went off, a roar from Zannacross. With Brad destroyed Zannacross was purged from him, but was caught in the soul chain between Cosmos and the Beyonder.

With no darkness to absorb, Zannacross was too weak to break out for the moment, and was just glaring with rage.

Cosmos saw Zannacross glare at him and gave another sorrowful smile." Zannacross, even if it was for your own rage, at last you helped your first son, the son you never once talked as a son.

We, we were a family for at least this one moment. It, only took millions of lifetimes to reach this point, but at last we were able to reach an understanding."

Ben took a deep breath before he leaned back." I, don't want to jinx it. But, looks like we did it. For all of his cruelty, we stopped Brad before he could destroy the universe. We stopped him before he could become the universe. We stopped him from making the, huh?"

Ben paused as he saw a flash of light from behind, and swerved around to see that the Cosmic Horizon was growing larger, nearly looking like a balloon that was about to pop. The leader of the justice force cringed as he looked at how exhausted everyone was." We stopped Brad from sabotaging the Big Bang…which means it's about to go off…right in are face."

Authors Notes: Well, here we are, almost at the finish line. Hope everyone enjoyed the final battle, I tried my best to make it be a unique intense ride. The final final location is based off of where the hero's confronted the Anti-Monitor at the Crises of Infinite Earths event.

The way Ramathal awoke the Beyonder was inspired by the comic version of The Infinity War. Far diffrent the last year's movie, in that event Adam Warlock's dark half the Magus among other things, put Eternity into a comma using the power of the Cosmic Cubes. Galactus awoke Eternity by forcing Gamora be his puppet and go into Eternity's mind to free him.

The Cosmic Horizon part is a nod to the Azure Horizon, the place of the final showdown between Ranga the Bloodedge and Yuuki Terumi. The Time Killer attack is the move Hakumen used to try and kill Terumi in Chrono Phantasma, but since it was rather vague I gave a few more details to it.

I know Zannacross being released was rather sudden but that will be dealt with next chapter, so stay tuned as things head for a messy, maybe even tragic dash to the finish line in Chapter 251: What You Leave Behind.
