Two days later
Brittany walks into the kitchen after taking a shower and smiles when she sees Lio reading the newspaper, she walks to him after grabbing a cup of coffee and kisses him on the cheek.
''Good morning Lio.'' Lio looks up and smiles.
'' Good morning Britt, why are you up already?'' Brittany sits down next to him and smiles.
'' Em and I are going grocery shopping and we will cook tonight, I invited someone to dinner and promised to pick her up around 2 p.m.''
Lio nods his head and smiles. '' Okay do we know this person and where is Em?''
Brittany nods her head and chuckles. '' You do but I won't say a name and she is getting dressed, Santana woke up too but I told her to sleep a little longer.''
Brittany stands up as she hears someone walking down the stairs and pours a cup of coffee, she smiles as she sees Em kissing Lio on the cheek and places the coffee in front of her.
Emily sits down next to her and takes a sip of her coffee. '' Thank you sis.''
After they both drank their coffee's they put on their jackets and give Lio a kiss on the cheek, they close the door behind them and Brittany unlocks her car.
Brittany drives them to a small breakfast diner and parks her car, she turns to Emily and smiles as she sees her looking with an eyebrow raised. '' It's too long ago we got out and ate breakfast together, this morning is our time Em starting with breakfast and after that shopping.''
Emily smiles and kisses her sister on her cheek, she quickly jumps out of the car and looks back to her. Brittany chuckles and shakes her head, she steps out of her car and locks it. Both girls walk into the diner and sit down in one of the free booths far away from other costumers, Brittany slides in next to her sister and wraps an arm around her shoulders.
'' I know we are both busy and have our partners, but please let us try to have a day for us sometimes.''
Emily nods her head and cuddles into her sister. '' Yeah Kev and San will understand it, and I miss it sometimes but I am really glad you are living your dream sis.''
Brittany smiles and kisses her on the head, Brittany looks up when the waiter stops at their table and sits up.
'' Hello did you decide what you want to order?''
Brittany nods her head and smiles. '' We will both have a coffee and the french toast with banana please.''
The waiter writes their order down and nods his head. '' Your order will be out in 'a minute.''
Brittany nods her head and smiles. '' Thank you.''
Emily turns to her sister when the waiter walks away and holds up Britt's phone. '' Picture for twitter?''
Brittany nods her head and chuckles she takes her phone from her sister and opens her camera app, she wraps an arm around Emily and holds her phone up. They both smile into the camera and before Brittany takes the picture she turns her head and kisses Emily's forehead, Brittany lowers the phone and looks at the picture.
She smiles when she sees Emily smiling brightly on the picture and shows Emily the picture, Emily smiles and cuddles back into her. Brittany opens the twitter app on her phone and posts the picture with a small text.
Breakfast and shopping date with my little sister Emster, love you lil one.'
Emily takes out her own phone and opens the app, she retweets Britt's picture and smiles.

Brittany reads it and chuckles, they both thank the waiter as he brings their drinks and food.
After they ate their breakfast Brittany pays the waiter and stands up, they both walk out of the diner and jump back into the car. Brittany turns on the radio and pulls out of the parking lot, she rolls down her window and puts on her sunglasses.
After fifteen minutes Brittany parks the car and grabs her purse from the backseat, Emily puts her own sunglasses on and steps out of the car after grabbing her own purse. Both girls walk into the mall and walk through different stores, after an hour Brittany leads her sister to Starbucks and orders two muffins and coffee for them.
They sit down when they got their order and eat their muffins, Brittany turns to her sister and bites her lip. '' Em?''
Emily turns to her and raises her eyebrow as she sees how nervous her sister is. '' What's wrong B?''
Brittany bites her lip and mumbles. '' I want to ask Santana to move in with me.''
Emily's eyes widen and smiles. '' Seriously?''
Brittany nods her head and smiles. '' Yeah we almost always spend every night together and I found a house near the new kindergarten the boys will go to.''
Emily smiles and pulls her sister in a hug. '' When do you want to ask her?''
Brittany smiles and places a kiss on her sisters cheek. '' Tonight if she doesn't hate me too much.''
Emily shakes her head and smiles. '' She won't hate you, and I am happy you finally found someone who knocked your walls down.''
She grabs her sisters hand and smiles. '' I can see how happy Santana makes you and seeing her interact with you and Bry makes me happy, I love you sis but I am glad you finally found someone to share a home and family with.''
Brittany squeezes her hand softly and shows her pictures on the phone. '' I bought this house yesterday, Sue signed for is so the paps won't know yet and Mike is soundproofing it with Puck this week.''
Emily looks at the pictures and smiles. '' It's beautiful B.''
Brittany smiles and looks at her. '' You will have your own room there with Kev and we will take your offer to babysit a little more, San and I need more time for us.''
Emily nods her head and throws away their trash, she follows Brittany out of Starbucks and smiles. '' That is okay B, Kev and I love the boys and we like spending time with them.''
Brittany smiles and wraps an arm around her shoulders, they walks towards the exit but Britt stops as they walk pass a window from a jeweler. She let's go of Emily and walks to the window, Em follows her and smiles.
'' Seeing something you like sis?'' Brittany nods her head and smiles, she points to two different necklaces and turns to Emily.
'' The signs says necklaces will be ready within an hour, I want the heart with key one with San and Mines initials and a necklace for the boys with their names and a small heart with a key.''
Emily nods her head with a smile and pulls her inside, Brittany follows her with a chuckle and walks to the counter. The woman behind the counter looks up and smiles. '' Hello can I help you?''
Brittany nods her head and points to two necklaces and tells the women what she has in mind, the women nods her head and sketches it down showing it both girls. '' It will look like this, is this what you have in mind?''
Brittany nods her head and smiles. '' Yes that is exactly what I have in mind, will it be done within an hour?''
The women nods her head and smiles. '' Yes I will immediately start, do you want to wait here?''
Brittany shakes her head and smiles. '' No we will go grocery shopping and will come back in an hour.''
The women smiles and takes the necklaces from the counter. '' Alright, I will see you in an hour.''
After both girls said bye they walk out of the shop and out of the shopping center, they walk to the grocery store next door and take a cart. Brittany pushes the cart in front of her and takes out her phone to open her grocery list, Emily looks at her and smiles.
'' What are we cooking today?''
Brittany looks at her and chuckles. '' Tender Italian baked chicken with pasta salad and muffins for dessert.''
Emily looks at her and raises an eyebrow. '' Are you seriously making your muffins?'' Britt nods her head and smiles.
'' I hope San will like the blueberry kind, I never had time to bake them before but now I can.''
Emily nods her head and smiles. '' Can I have a white chocolate muffin?'' Brittany nods her head and grabs everything they will need for the muffins, after they picked out vegetables and everything for the main course she follows Emily to the check out and places everything down.
After paying Brittany pushes the cart to her car and unlocks it, both girls load their bags into the trunk and Brittany closes it. After locking her car they bring the cart back and walk back to the shopping center, Brittany looks at the time and smiles slightly. '' We still have twenty minutes, any shop wishes?''
Emily shakes her head and chuckles. '' No I bought enough stuff.'' Brittany nods her head in agreement and chuckles.
'' Yeah me too.'' Britt stops walking as she sees a photo cabin and grabs Emily's hand, Emily sees where Britt is pulling her too and chuckles. Both girls enter the cabin and sit down next to each other, after taking a strip of pictures together Brittany pays the machine again and steps out of the cabin.
'' We will make a strip with us alone on it.'' Emily chuckles and poses for the pictures, after they swapped places Brittany takes the strips out of the machine and gives Emily her pictures.
They look at the three strips and chuckle at the pictures they took together, Emily looks at the pictures her sister took alone and gasps as she sees one picture. She points at it and looks at her sister. '' Damn B this picture shows all of us how happy you are, your eyes twinkle and are bright and that smirk just wow.''
Brittany smiles and nods her head in agreement, she points to one of the pictures Emily took and smirks. '' Same goes for you sis.''
Emily nods her head and puts the strip away, Brittany puts both strips in her wallet and follows her sister to the jeweler. The women behind the counter looks up as the bell dings and smiles.
'' I am almost done, I only need to polish it.''
Brittany nods her head and smiles, the women walks to them after finishing polishing and shows them the necklaces. Brittany looks at them and nods her head with a big smile. '' Wow they look just like I imagined, thank you so much.''
The women smiles and packs the necklaces in a velvet box and in a small bag, Brittany takes the bag and hands the women her credit card. After paying for the necklaces both girls walk out of the jeweler and out of the center towards Brittany's car, Brittany puts the small bag in the trunk of her car and takes out the velvet boxes and puts them in the pocket of her leather jacket.
She turns to Emily after jumping in the drivers seat and smiles. '' Ready to pick up Alma?'' Emily nods her head and turns the radio louder as soon as Brittany starts her car. After a thirty minute drive Brittany parks her car in front of Alma's house and smiles as the door immediately opens and Alma walks out, Emily jumps out of the car and sits down in the back.
Brittany turns the music down as Alma nears the car and smiles as she sits down in the drivers seat, Alma looks at her and smiles. '' Hey girls.''
Brittany starts her car and smiles as she hears her sisters shy greeting. '' Hey Alma.'' She pull drives down the street and looks in the rear view mirror smiling as she hears Emily starting a conversation with Alma.
After twenty minutes Brittany parks the car in the driveway and turns to Alma. '' Can you wait in the hall till I tell Em to come in?''
Alma nods her head and smiles. '' Of course.'' Brittany nods her head and steps out of the car, she locks the car after grabbing the bags with Emily and leads Alma to the front door. She opens the door and places the bags down, she walks into the living room and chuckles as both boys immediately jump off the couch.
She kisses them on the head and whispers. '' Hey my boys, can you sit with Ti Emilio please?''
Both boys nod their heads and climb on Emilio's lap, Brittany walks to her girlfriend and crouches down in front of her. She pecks her on the lip and smiles. '' Hey babe.''
Santana looks at her and smiles. '' Hey baby.''
Brittany grabs the controller from Kev with a small smile and pauses the movie that plays, she grabs her girlfriends hands and bites her lip softly. '' Can you please hear me out before saying something?''
Santana raises an eyebrow but slowly nods her head, Brittany sees everyone turning their attention to them and sighs softly. '' Come in Em.''
Emily walks in with Alma and places a hand on her shoulder, Brittany hears everyone gasps but focuses on her girlfriend and sees tears welling in her eyes. She squeezes Santana's hand softly and sighs. '' A few days ago I decided to visit your abuela because I couldn't stand seeing the pain in your eyes, hearing you cry at night and hearing Santi talk about missing his gran abuela, I took Em with me because she can calm me down and walked in your abuela's house before she could throw the door into our faces.''
She let's go of Santana's hand and lifts her right hand wiping away her girlfriends tears. '' At first I did all the talking but after a while your abuela started too and told me that she would give me, Bry and Em a chance.''
Santana shakes her head and opens her mouth, Brittany puts a finger on her lips and smiles sadly. '' Hear me out please.''
Santana nods her head and looks into her girlfriends eyes, Brittany turns slightly and looks at Alma with a small smile. '' Alma decided to give us a chance because she misses you babe, she misses all of you and she thought she did what her religion expects of her but after I quoted a phrase out of the bible she started thinking.''
Alma takes a step forward and looks at her family. '' Santanita I am so sorry for all the pain I caused you, I was dumb and didn't listen to my heart but I am here after talking to your girlfriend and I want to give them a chance if you can give me a second chance.''
Brittany wipes away her girlfriends tears and kisses her on the forehead. '' Em, Kev and I will cook with the boys, that will give you enough time to talk and whatever you decide I will always stand beside you babe.''
She leans in and whispers. '' I hope you aren't too mad.'' Santana shakes her head and hugs her girlfriend, she wipes away her own tears and pulls back slightly to kiss her softly.
'' I'm not mad I suspected something like this, I love you babe.'' Brittany smiles and pecks her on the lips.
'' I love you too Hermosa.''
She stands up and walks to Alma, she lays a hand on her shoulder and smiles. '' You can take Kevin's place.''
Alma nods her head and walks to the couch, Brittany follows her sister into the kitchen and smiles as she sees Kevin and the boys sitting at the counter eating a cookie.
She smiles as Santi jumps off his chair and crouches down, Santi hugs her and smiles. '' Thank you for talking to gran abuela, I hope our family will be whole again.''
Britt places a kiss on his head and smiles. '' I hope so too champ.'' She turns to her sister and smiles.
'' Can you show Kev how we make the pasta salad?'' Emily nods her head and grabs the ingredients, Brittany turns to both boys and places a few chocolate bars on the table.
'' You can share one but can you break the other ones in small pieces and place them in bowls?'' Both boys nod their heads and immediately open the bars, She kisses the both of them on the head and starts with the chicken.
After finishing coating the chicken with bread crumbs and Parmesan, Brittany grabs the ingredients for the muffins and turns to the boys. '' Come on boys, we will make some muffins.''
Both boys immediately move their chairs to her and climb on them, Brittany places a small bowl in front of them and mixes the batter together. After dividing the batter in three bowls she looks at the boys and smiles. '' You can put the chocolate in and slowly mix it.''
After twenty minutes the muffins are done and Brittany turns to her sister. '' Do you want to bake the chicken?''
Emily nods her head and smiles. '' Yes go to your girlfriend sis.'' Brittany smiles and picks both boys up after kissing her sister on the cheek, she walks out of the kitchen and into the living room.
She puts both boys down and smiles as she sees Alma hugging Santana, Santi walks to Alma and pulls Bryan with him. He sits down next to her after kissing on the cheek and turns to Bryan talking about some toys.
Alma stands up after kissing Santana on the head and hugs Brittany. '' Thank you for opening my eyes, I missed my family.''
Brittany hugs her back and smiles. '' You're welcome Alma.''
Lio looks at her and smiles. '' Thank you Britt, you showed all of us how much you love our daughter.''
Maribel nods her head in agreement and smiles. '' You will do everything to keep your girlfriend happy and Em will do everything to keep her best friend happy.''
Brittany chuckles as her sister yells. '' Sure will Maribel'' And nods her head in agreement.
'' I will do everything to keep San and the boys happy.''
She turns her head as she feels someone wrap an arm around her shoulders and smiles as Kevin places a kiss on her cheek, Kevin turns to the group and smiles. '' Dinner will be ready in two minutes.''
Brittany chuckles as both boys jump off the couch and smiles as everyone follows them, she walks to her girlfriend and crouches down in front of her. '' Are you okay baby?''
Santana nods her head and leans in capturing her lips in a slow loving kiss, she slowly pulls away and lays her forehead against Britt's. '' I am so lucky to have you by my side.''
Brittany smiles and slowly stands up, she pecks her on the lips and takes her hand. '' I am the lucky one babe.''
She leads her into the kitchen and pulls her chair back, she sits down next to her and smiles as she sees Emily putting salad on every plate and Kevin putting chicken on every plate.
After everyone has a full plate Maribel looks around the table and smiles. '' Britt, Em and Kev thank you for cooking today, it looks delicious.''
Emily smiles and points to her sister. '' It's Britt's recipe, we only helped a little bit.''
Santana turns to her girlfriend after taking a bite and raises an eyebrow. '' Damn babe, I didn't know that you could cook.''
Brittany chuckles and looks at her. '' You always started before I could say something.'' Santi looks up and smiles.
'' It's really good mommy.'' Bryan nods his head in agreement and smiles brightly.
'' Just as good as mami's food.'' Brittany turns to her girlfriend as she hears a fork falling and sees her looking at Bryan with tears in her eyes, Brittany smiles slightly and nods her head slightly signing both boys that they can stand up.
Bryan jumps off his chair and walks to Santana crawling on her lap, Santi crawls on Britt's lap and takes his plate from his uncle. Bryan looks at Santana and kisses her on the cheek. '' I love you mami.''
Santana wipes away her tears and kisses him on the head. '' I love you too honey.''
Brittany wipes a tear away and places a kiss on Santi's head, she turns to look at Emily and smiles as she sees her looking at Bry with a big smile. After finishing her food Brittany pulls her girlfriends chair near her and wraps an arm around her, she kisses San's head as she leans into her and smiles. '' Please don't cry every time he calls you that, I love seeing you smile.''
Santana smiles and kisses her jaw. '' I won't, but he surprised me.'' Brittany nods her head and smiles as her son looks at her, she sees that Santi finished his plate and leans down to whisper in his ear.
'' Can you grab Aunt Em and tell her I need something out of my jacket? I will put the muffins on plates.''
Santi nods his head and slides off her lap, he pulls Bryan with him and walks to Emily. Brittany stands up and grabs the empty plates of the table, she places them in the dishwasher and smiles as Em walks to her with the boys.
She takes the necklaces from her and smiles nervously, she puts two blueberry muffins on the plate and draws hearts and the question on the plate. She places the necklace in between the muffins and puts a chocolate and blueberry muffin on two other plates, she draws a superman on the plates and puts the necklaces under the drawing.
Emily watches her with a smile and takes a picture of the three plates, she turns to her sister and squeezes her shoulder softly. '' They will love it sis.''
Brittany jumps as she feels another hand on her shoulder and turns her head, she smiles as Emilio stands next to her and holds a finger to her lips. Emily leans towards him and whispers. '' Britt wants to ask San and Santi to move in with her.''
Emilio smiles and nods his head, Brittany takes the three plates with a deep breath and turns around slowly walking to the table. She places the plates in front of the boys and kisses them on the head, she places the plate in front of Santana and crouches down next to her.
Santana looks down at her plate after thanking her and gasps as she sees the necklace and question, Britt smiles as she turns to her with tears in her eyes and takes the necklace of her plate.
Santana grabs Brittany by the collar of her shirt and pulls her in a kiss, she pulls out of the kiss and nods her head. '' Yes I will move in with you.''
Brittany kisses her softly and fastens the necklace around her neck. '' I love you.'' She slowly stands up with her girlfriend and turns to their boys, she takes the necklaces from their plates and fastens Bry's necklace around his neck.
She places a kiss on his head and whispers. '' I love you baby, we will have a new house soon.''
She turns to Santi and crouches down in front of him, she takes the necklace out of his hands and smiles. '' Buddy do you want to move in with me and Bry? We will have a bigger house and the both of you can design your rooms just like you want it.''
Santi nods his head and smiles. '' Yes I want that mommy.'' Brittany smiles and fastens the necklace around his neck, Em tackles Santana in a hug and smiles.
'' Thank you for making my sister such a softy San.'' She smiles as Santana chuckles and looks at her. '' Thank you for making both of them happy, I will be happy to call you sister in law one day.''
Emilio wraps his arm around Brittany's shoulder and smiles. '' And I will be happy to call you my sister in law B, thank you for making my hermana and Nieto so happy.''
Maribel and Lio nod their heads in agreement and join their son, Lio pulls Santana to them and smiles. '' Mija, Britt shows us almost everyday what she will do to protect you and Santi and make you happy, never let her go a love like this is rare.''
Santana wraps her arm around her girlfriends waist and lays her head on her shoulder. '' I know papi and I will never let her go.''
Brittany kissed her on the forehead and smiles as she sees both boys enjoying their muffins, she sits down on the empty chair next to them and pulls Santana in her lap. '' Eat your muffins babe.''
Santana nods her head and smiles as everyone sits back down, she takes a bite of her muffin and moans softly. '' Damn baby this is a killer blueberry muffin, where did you find them?''
'' Mommy made them mami.'' Both boys say simultaneously, Santana turns to her girlfriend and raises an eyebrow.
'' Seriously?'' Brittany nods her head and smirks.
'' I promise to make them more, I know how much you love blueberries.''
Emily looks at both girls and smirks. '' She makes killer blueberry pancakes.''
Brittany chuckles and kisses her girlfriend on the head. '' I will make them as soon as we live in our new home baby.'' She sits up and takes out her phone. '' Speaking of home.''
She shows her girlfriend the pictures and smiles. '' I bought it yesterday and Sue signed for it, Mike and Puck are soundproofing it at the moment and we have a small pool house Sue will change in a home studio for us.''
Santana looks at the pictures and gasps as she sees the living room. '' Damn baby how can you afford this?''
Brittany kisses her on the head and smiles slightly. '' I told all of you that I have money, but I never said how much.''
Emily nods her head and chuckles. '' B saved a lot San she bought clothes and stuff for me and Bry, but everything she had left at the end of the month would land on the bank.''
Brittany nods her head and smiles. '' I meant it the day I told your grandmother that I can take care of you, our boys and Em without a problem, but I found this house and it just screamed us.''
She points to the pictures and smiles. '' Both boys will have an own room and a play room, the kitchen will be a dream for both of us and we can build a small fitness studio in the basement.''
She looks around the table and smiles. '' We have enough guest rooms and we can turn on half of the basement in a room too, you can design our house like you want babe and the boys can tell us what they want in their room and playroom.''
Santana hands her mother the phone with pictures and turns side way in her girlfriends lap, she captures Britt's lips in a slow kiss and smiles. '' Sounds good baby, I can't wait to decorate our home together.''
Emilio looks at them after looking at the pictures and smiles. '' That house is amazing B, do you guys need some help moving?''
Brittany nods her head and smiles. '' Yeah we do, want to help us as soon as we drive back?''
Emilio nods his head and smiles, Brittany looks at the time and chuckles. '' Boys bath time.'' She places a kiss on Santana's head and taps her thigh. '' I will give them a bath, after that they can lay in bed and watch cars.''
Santana nods her head and stands up, she places a kiss on the boys head and smiles. '' I will come up after your bath.''
Both boys nod their heads and squeal as Brittany picks the both of them up, Alma watches her granddaughter and smiles. '' She is good for you Santanita.''
