Three weeks later:
After finishing the last three songs of their album and singing one of the songs on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the girls joined the Lopez family back in Santa Maria for a family weekend and dance night.
Santana watches her girlfriend playing basketball with her nephews and turns to Emilio. '' Hermano?''
Emilio turns to her and smiles. '' Yeah sis?'' She glances at her girlfriend and family and moves closer to her brother.
'' I want to ask her today.'' Emilio stands up and pulls her up with him, he walks to the table with drinks on it and leans against the wall beside it.
'' Seriously?'' Santana nods her head and smiles.
'' I wrote a song that I will play tonight and the boys will bring me the ring, Em will record it and Kev will have a video chat with Sue.''
Emilio smiles and pulls her in a hug. '' Thank god, do you want me to record it too?''
Santana buries her face in his chest and shakes her head. '' I asked papi, to hold mami and abuela back from tackling us in a hug.'' She looks up at him and smiles. '' Can you video chat with Mike and Tina?''
Emilio nods his head and smiles, he looks at the time and places a kiss on her head. '' What time will you do it?''
Santana chuckles and shrugs her shoulders. '' When it's dark and the stars and string lights will give a nice glow to the dance floor.''
Emilio nods his head and grabs a beer, he grabs another one for Brittany and leads his sister back to the chairs next to the basketball area. They watch Brittany kick Fernando Eduardo's ass and chuckle.
Ten minutes later Lio walks to them and places a hand on his daughters shoulders. '' Alright Britt quit kicking their asses, food will be here in five minutes and after that we can change in nice clothes.''
Santana watches her girlfriend as she wipes the sweat of her brow and holds out the bottle of beer Emilio grabbed for her, Brittany walks to her and takes the beer thanking her with a peck on the lips.
'' Ugh you taste salty.'' Santana mutters as she wipes her mouth, Brittany chuckles and takes a sip of the cold beer. She turns to the pool and smiles as she sees the boys playing with Maria, Emily and Kevin, Brittany walks to them and crouches down.
'' Boys come on we need to dry you off, the food will be here soon.'' Both boys nod their heads and swim to the edge, Brittany helps him out of the pool and follows them inside. Santana watches them walk inside and turns to Emily and Kevin.
'' I am fucking nervous.'' Emily walks to her and pulls her in a hug, Kevin joins them and places a kiss on her cheek.
'' She will say yes San, you planned everything right?'' Santana nods her head and sighs.
'' Yeah but what if she doesn't like it?'' Emily pulls out of the hug and looks at her.
'' She will love it San, you even learned to slow dance for her.'' Kevin nods his head in agreement and chuckles.
'' Yeah she will be surprised to see you take the lead.'' Santana chuckles and nods her head.
'' Thank you, will you give the boys the ring after dinner?'' They both nod their heads and smile, the three of them turn their heads as the boys run outside. Santana catches them as they jump in her arms and places a kiss on their heads. '' Where is your mommy?''
Bryan looks up at her and smiles. '' Taking a quick shower, she didn't smell good.''
Santana laughs at their scrunched up faces and turns her head as she hears Kevin and Emily chuckle, Emily takes Bryan from Santana and kisses him on the cheek. '' Did you tell your mommy that too.''
Bryan nods his head and pouts. '' She told me the tickle monster will come after us.'' Kevin chuckles and looks at them.
'' You will have to run away after dinner to escape the tickle monster boys.'' Both boys nod their heads and turn around as they hear someone whistle, Lio stands in the doorway to the kitchen and smiles.
'' Dinner is here!'' Santana let's Santi down as he wriggles in her arms and chuckles as he waits for Bryan before taking off towards the kitchen, she follows them and sits down next to her grandmother.
She thanks her dad as he places a glass of wine in front of her and smiles as both boys crawl in her lap, she watches her dad place plates with pizza in front of everyone and turns to Emily.
'' Will you tell B dinner is here?'' Emily nods her head and stands up, Santana looks down at both boys and chuckles. '' Boys I think you have to sit with uncle Emilio or abuela and Abuelo to escape the tickle monster.''
She chuckles as their eyes widen and moves her chair back, she chuckles as they jog to her parents and smiles as her parents pick them up and places them on their lap. She looks up as she feels a kiss on her head and smiles as Brittany sits down next to her wearing a tank top and sweatpants, she nods her head at both boys and chuckles.
'' The boys try to escape the tickle monster.''
Brittany turns to the boys and chuckles. '' They can't escape, they told me I smell.''
Everyone around the table start laughing as they see the pout forming on her face and look at the boys, Santi looks at his mother and smiles. '' You were sweaty mommy, you did smell.''
Santana bites her lip to stop laughing and wraps her arm around her girlfriends waist, she leans up and places a kiss on her cheek. '' Let's eat dinner baby, you can grab them later.''
Brittany nods her head and smirks, she takes a sip of her beer and intertwines her left hand with Santana's right.
After dinner Brittany slowly stands up and smirks as both boys eyes widen, they quickly scramble of their grandparents lap and make a dash towards the back door. Brittany quickly runs after them and slides with her sock through the kitchen, she stops in front of the door and tries to grab them.
Both boys squeal loudly and quickly turn around, they run to Santana as she stands up and hide behind her legs. '' Help us mami!''
Santana wraps her arms around Brittany's waist as she walks to them and turns her head to the boys. '' Go to abuela and abuelo's room! We will get dressed there.''
Both boys nod their heads and turn on their heels, Santana pecks Britt on the lips as soon as she hears the boys run up the stairs and smirks. '' We will get dressed, see you outside?''
She turns around as Brittany nods her head with a pout and jogs out of the kitchen, she runs up the stairs and walks into her parents bedroom after grabbing clothes for her and the boys. She smiles as she sees both boys sitting on the bed and places the clothes on the bed, she points to the dark Grey cargo shorts and smiles. '' Put that on first boys.''
Both boys nod their heads and slides off the bed, Santana takes off her clothes and puts on a red off the shoulder dress. She walks to the boys and kneels down in front of them sighing softly in relief as her dress stays in place, she places a kiss on their heads and smiles.
'' Come on we will do our hair.'' Both boys nod their head and wait till she stands back up, they follow her into the bathroom and look up at her. After wetting her hands she crouches down in front of them and makes little spikes of their hair, she places a kiss on their forehead and smiles.
'' Do you want to stay here or go outside?''
'' Stay here mami.'' Santi replies with a smile, Bryan nods his head in agreement and smiles. Santana nods her head and stands back up, she picks the both of them up and places them down on the vanity next to the sink.
After doing her make-up she turns to the boys and smiles. '' What do I have to do with my hair?''
Bryan looks at her and tilts it head. '' Um leave it like that mami, you look really pretty.'' Santi nods his head in agreement and smiles.
'' Mommy loves your hair when it's like that mami.'' Santana looks in the mirror and nods her head.
'' Alright I will leave it like this.'' She helps both boys of the vanity and follows them into the bedroom, she grabs their blue Nike's windrunner and helps them put it on. '' You can leave the jacket open for now, but if it gets cold please zip it up okay?''
Both boys nod their heads and smile, Santana looks at them and strokes a hand over their heads. '' My handsome little boys.'' Both boys hug her legs and look up at her with a smile, Santana chuckles and grabs their dirty clothes.
'' Aunt Em or Uncle Kev will give you the ring outside, when the song is over you can bring it to me okay?'' The boys nod their heads and watch her throw the clothes in the hamper, Santana looks at them and smiles. '' Ready to go downstairs?''
The boys nod their heads and take her hand, Santana walks out of the room with them and down the stairs. She through the kitchen outside and smiles as she hears the music already playing and sees her family already dancing to it, she turns to the right as she hears someone whistle and rolls her eyes as Maria looks at her with a smirk.
'' Looking good sobrina.'' She looks at the boys and smiles. '' And the two of you look handsome as always.''
Santana opens her mouth to reply but closes it as she sees Maria's eyes widen, she turns around and smiles as Emily and Kevin step out of the house. She places her hands over the boys ears and smiles as they lay their head against her leg. '' Hot damn Em you look beautiful and you look handsome Kev.''
Kevin walks to her and kisses her on the cheek. '' Thank you and you look really beautiful too, but B tops all of us she needs a few more minutes.''
He picks Bryan up and smiles as Emily picks Santi up, Emily turns to Santana and smiles. '' Can we take a group picture for twitter? We need to show twitter how hot the both of you look tonight.''
Santana nods her head and smiles, she turns around as both boys yell. ' Whoa mommy you look beautiful!' and gasps as she sees her girlfriend standing behind her wearing a white pant suit, her hair curled lightly and make-up that highlight her eyes.
'' Hot damn babe.'' Brittany chuckles and walks to her girlfriend after giving both boys a kiss on their heads, she wraps her arms around her girlfriend and pecks her on the lips.
'' You look beautiful baby.'' Santana looks up at her and smiles.
'' Not as beautiful as you baby.''
After everyone complimented Brittany on her outfit, Emily puts her phone on the table aiming it at the group standing there and sets the timer on fifteen seconds. She jogs to the group and stands next to Kevin, she looks at the group and smiles. '' The timer will go off in ten seconds.''
Brittany puts Santi on her left hip and wraps an arm around Santana's waist, Santana lays her head against her girlfriends shoulder and smiles as Bryan cuddles into her. '' Smile boys.''
Brittany looks into the camera with a smirk and sees both boys doing the same, after the flash goes off she turns to Em and smiles. '' Can you send me that picture and make one of the four of us with my phone?''
Emily nods her head and grabs her phone, Brittany pulls Santana slightly in front of her as her sister holds up her phone for the picture and places her lips on the back of her head. She looks into the camera through her lashes and straightens up after the flash.
Brittany takes her phone from Emily and looks at both pictures, Santana looks over her shoulder at them and gasps as she sees the picture of the four of them. She zooms in on her girlfriends face and looks at her. '' Our fans will make sure that this picture will trend.''
Britt chuckles and nods her head, she uploads both pictures on twitter and quickly writes a message.

She places her phone down and looks at both boys. '' Will you dance with me?'' Both boys nod their heads and take her hand after they put them down, Brittany pecks Santana on the lips and leads their sons out on the dance floor.
Santana watches them dance and smiles, Emily wraps an arm around her shoulders and glances at the dance floor. '' When will you do it?''
'' After this song, the boys need to go to bed soon.'' Emily nods her head and smiles, Santana turns to her father and nods her head to the radio.
Lio nods his head and walks to the radio, Santana looks at Emily and smiles nervously. '' Will you tell the boys when to bring the rings?''
Emily nods her head and pushes her to the dance floor. '' I will now go dance, the song will end in a few seconds.''
Santana nods her head and walks to the dance floor, she slowly steps on it and walks to her girlfriend. She taps her on the shoulder and smiles as she turns to look at her, she holds out her hand and smiles slightly. '' May I have this dance?''
She pull her in her arms as Brittany nods her head and leads her into a dance, Brittany looks at her in shock as she hears her girlfriends voice filling the garden and raises an eyebrow.

Santana twirls her girlfriend and looks her in the eyes, she glances towards Emily and sees her crouched down next to the boys whispering something in their ear.

As soon as the song nears the end both boys jog towards the dance floor and stand at the edge, Santana twirls Brittany so that her back is against her front and whispers. '' I love you Britt-Britt.''

After the song ends Santana looks up at Brittany and smiles nervously. '' Britt- Britt the day I first met you and heard your beautiful voice, I knew you would play an important part in my life.''
She takes one of her hands and smiles. '' A few weeks later I knew you would not only be my friend, I fell in love with you the day you let everything drop because I called you that Santi is sick and wants to see you. You had an important appointment but you canceled it last minute just to be with him.''
She glances at her son and smiles. '' I never saw him trusting someone so quickly, and every day I watch you interact with our boys makes me fall in love with you a little more.'' She strokes a thumb over her girlfriends hand and bites her lip. '' You will do everything to protect us hell you didn't want to ask me out because you were scared, but I am so glad you gave me a chance because I could see behind the wall you build and immediately fell in love with the caring, loving, amazing woman you are.
She looks up at Brittany and smiles. '' You are an amazing sister, mother, girlfriend and friend. But calling you my girlfriend won't be enough for me, I hope that I can call you my fiance or wife.''
She smiles as both boys jog to her and takes the ring box from them, she turns back to Brittany and gets down on one knee. She opens the ring box and looks up at Brittany smiling slightly as she sees tears streaming down her face and both hands in front of her mouth. '' Brittany Susan Pierce, will you do the honor of becoming my wife? Will you marry me?''
Brittany drops to her knees and nods her head, she moves her hands from her mouth and bites back a sob. '' Yes, yes I will marry you.''
Santana takes the ring out of the box and slides it on her finger, she leans forward and crashes their lips together. Santana slowly pulls out of the kiss and lays her forehead against Britt's. '' I love you baby.''
She pulls Brittany in a hug and turns her head to look at both boys, she nods her head and smiles as they tackle them in a hug. Bryan and Santi kiss both of their mothers on the cheek and high five each other, Bryan looks at Santana and smiles. '' Thank you for making mommy so happy mami.''
Santana ruffles his hear and smiles. '' No thank you needed mijo, I love the three of you with all my heart.''
Brittany pulls out of the hug and places a kiss on both boys heads, she looks down at the ring on her hand and smiles. '' The ring is beautiful mi amor.'' Santana smiles and lifts her hand placing a kiss on the french cut ring with a princess cut diamond.
'' The boys found it after I was ready to give up searching, I know you don't like flashy things but this one just screamed your name.'' Brittany pecks her on the lip and smiles.
'' I love it.'' She looks at her fiance and smiles. '' And I love you fiance.'' Santana smiles and lifts her hand wiping the tears of Brittany's face.
Brittany chuckles as her sister tackles her in a hug and laughs as Maribel and Alma tackle Santana in a hug, she looks at Emily and smiles after pulling her in a hug. '' Took you long enough sis.''
Emily places a kiss on her cheek and smiles. '' I wanted to give you some time and helped Lio hold back Alma and Maribel, congratulations sis.''
Brittany smiles as Kevin joins them and thanks him as he congratulates her, she stands up as Lio and Emilio walks to them and steps in their hug. Emilio places a kiss on her head and smiles. '' Can I call you my sister in law now?''
Brittany chuckles and kisses him on the cheek. '' Future sister in law, but you can call me whatever you want Emilio.''
After everyone congratulated her, Maribel tackles her in a hug and lifts her hand. '' Ai mi hija did good.'' Alma looks at the ring and nods her head in agreement, Santana joins them and wraps her arms around Brittany's waist smiling as she leans back into her.
Brittany looks down as two pairs of arm wrap around her leg and smiles as both boys lean against her, she ruffles a hand through their hair and turns to look at Santana. '' The boys are tired babe.''
Santana nods her head and picks Santi up, Brittany picks Bryan up and looks at the group. '' We will be right back.''
After the boys wished everyone a good night, Brittany follows her girlfriend inside and up the stairs. She walks into the guest room Maribel set up for the boys and places Bryan down on the bed, after changing him into his pajamas she places a kiss on his head and smiles. '' Good night baby, I love you.''
She swaps places with Santana after hearing him mutter a good night and places a kiss on Santi's head. '' Good night buddy, I love you.''
She smiles as she only hears soft puffs of breath coming from him and turns off the bedside lamp, she walks to the door and turns on the night lamp. She wraps an arm around Santana's waist as she walks towards her and leads her out of the room, she walks into their room with her and walks to her suitcase.
She grabs a small velvet box from Tiffany's out of it and turns to Santana. '' I planned on proposing after planning a date for us, but you beat me to it.''
She walks to the bed and sits down next to her, she opens the box and smiles as Santana gasps looking at the ring. '' I love you a lot San and I am so happy I can call you my fiance now, you make me happy and I can't thank you enough for giving me a family and giving Bry loving grandparents.''
She takes the halo heart cut diamond ring out of the box and slips it on the finger Santana holds out, she places a kiss on the ring and looks up, Santana leans in and captures her lips in a loving kiss.
'' I love you, my love.''
Brittany slowly pulls out of the kiss and stands up, she takes Santana's hand in her own and walks out of the room and down the stairs. They walk back out into the garden and Brittany smiles as Kevin and Emilio walks to them.
Emilio turns his phone to Brittany and smiles as she sees Mike and Tina, Mike smiles brightly and looks at his best friend. '' Congratulations girls! B I told you to put a ring on it.''
Brittany chuckles and wraps her arm around Santana's waist. '' She beat me to it Mike, but I am so happy.''
Tina nods her head and smiles. '' Santana is good for you B, we are glad that you are finally happy.''
After talking some more Brittany ends the video call and chuckles as Kevin hands her his phone, She smiles as she sees Sue and shakes her head. '' You knew too?''
Sue nods her head and smirks. '' Yeah I asked Em to record it and Kev called me so that I could watch it, congratulations girls.''
Santana cuddles into her girlfriend and smiles. '' Thank you Sue, and thank you for making me search for a choreographer.''
Brittany chuckles and kisses her on the head, she looks at Sue and smiles. '' Sue did you think about what I asked?''
Sue nods her head and smiles. '' Yeah you can take next week Friday off, but what about the proposal do you want to make it public?''
Santana looks up at Brittany and shrugs, Brittany looks at Sue and smiles slightly. '' Not really, I think the both of us will post a picture of our hands but the video will be showed on Ellen's show.''
Sue nods her head and smiles slightly. '' Shall I call Ellen for an interview?'' Britt nods her head and smiles.
'' Yeah but try to plan it next week?'' She looks down at Santana and smiles slightly. '' We want to write some songs and we really need a weekend for us.''
Sue nods her head in understanding and smiles. '' I will call Ellen, I will see you on Tuesday and enjoy the rest of the weekend girls.''
'' We will Sue! See you Tuesday.'' Santana replies with a smile and ends the video chat, Brittany turns to look at the dance floor and smiles as she sees almost everyone dancing.
She steps behind Santana and rests her hands on Santana's stomach, she smiles as Santana buries her face in her neck and watches Kevin dance with Maribel. She leans down and picks her girlfriend up bridal style, she chuckles as she squeals and walks to the couch on the patio.
She sits down with Santana on her lap and kisses her on the forehead, Santana looks up at her and smiles. Brittany smiles as they lock eyes and lifts her left hand cupping her cheek.
She pulls Santana in a kiss and smiles as she hums softly, she pulls out of the kiss and rests her forehead against Santana's.
Both girls turn their heads as they see a flash go off and Brittany chuckles as Emily stands there with a sheepish grin, Brittany holds out her hand for Emily's phone and looks at the picture as soon as Emily gives her the phone.
She smiles as she sees the ring on the picture and sends herself and Santana the picture, she gives Emily the phone back and opens the picture again.
'' Do you want to post it with a message? Or only the picture?'' Santana grabs her own phone and looks at the picture, she smiles as she sees how happy they both look and kisses her Brittany's cheek.
'' Without, I think that the picture says enough.'' Brittany nods her head in agreement and opens the twitter app.
After they posted the picture Brittany sits back and smiles as Santana cuddles back into her.
After Brittany looks up as she sees a flash and swears under her breath, she looks down at Santana as she feels her wake up and places a kiss on her head. '' Baby can you go up stairs? It starts thundering.''
Santana nods her head and stands up, Brittany watches her jog inside and walks to Emilio. '' What do we need to bring in?''
Emilio looks at her as he feels that it starts to rain heavily and sighs. '' Dance floor, chairs, music system and the lights.''
Brittany nods her head and grabs two chairs, she watches Kevin bringing in the music system and looks up as she hears a loud thunderclap and. '' Oh fuck.''
Emily looks at her sister and smiles sadly. '' Go up sis, San and the boys need you now.''
Brittany nods her head and runs inside after wishing everyone a good night, she runs up the stairs and into the bed room taking off the wet clothes. She sighs softly as she sees her girlfriend rolled up as a ball on the middle of the bed and strokes a hand down her back.
'' I will look at the boys.'' She quickly walks out after putting on a long t-shirts and walks into the boys room, she sighs as she sees both boys hiding under the covers and slowly pulls it back.
'' It's alright my boys, come here.''
