To clear the air, I do own Digimon. Out of all of the anime shows that involve Pokemon, Yugioh, Beyblade, and other shows, Digimon is my favorite by far. I grew up with it and seen every episode from season 1 through Data Squad I have not seen Xros Wars (yet) but, I have seen the newest Digimon Tri movie/episodes. So I decided to make a story for Digimon season 1 and, 2 put together. I'll try to make this very entertaining for everyone. If anyone has suggestions for this story, feel free to Private Message me at any time. I'm open to ideas. There will be something that involves the 13 Royal Knights and the Sovereigns and the evil god Zeedmillenniummon and of course some new characters and more. So please bear with me in this story.
What's up, guys? Saintalpha7 here! Since I'm getting back into this story, I want to update this story a bit faster than usual. I got many ideas and want this story to be as interesting as possible. Now from my last chapter, I did a review from chapter 7 and I'll go ahead and do that on this chapter just so everyone doesn't forget about anything. But I won't make them too long. However, you DO NOT HAVE to read this part.
So, from our last chapter, Yolei and Ken survive against the Corruptus Digimon, Pyredaeosmon. With the help of their new ally, Chaos, he saves Yolei and the others and takes them to the Temple of Desires. Nelo is aware of Chaos and his role. Chaos's role in keeping the location of where Davis's soul safe and a secret. Nelo will stop at nothing to get his answers. Yolei and Ken rest up and discovers that there is a way to save their daughter. They take that chance and goes to Mount Valhalla to fight Pyredaemosmon. During the fight, Chaos shows off his fighting style. Izzy points out that he is able to generate symbols of the Crests and use them as an offense and defensive abilities. Nelo gets his chance to fight Chaos and completely disregarding Seda. Yolei and Ken fight against Pyredaemosmon. They put up a decent fight, but Pyredaemosmon defeats their Digimon and kills them for the time being. Them being devastated, Chaos shows up and tells them that it is not over. Once they realized what it is they needed to do, Yolei and Ken had each received 1 of the Legendary Crests from the god of Light. Yolei received the Crest of Justice and Ken received the Crest of Truth. With the new Crests, Hawkmon and Wormmon were brought back to life and were able to Warp Digivole into their Mega levels and slay Pyredaemosmon and getting their daughter back. Now the Pyredaemosmon had been destroyed, Puppetmon rises from the ashes and fights once more. Kari protects her friends but is paid with a near-death experience. Kari and Puppetmon had fallen into a hole where Puppetmon tortured Kari. With her life slowly dying she has regrets of not telling Davis of how much he meant to her. Just before she is about to die, Chaos comes to the rescue and turns into Chaosmon. Chaosmon is angry and kills Puppetmon with no mercy. The Digi-Destined then went back to the Temple of Desires to rest, however, most of the group are filled with anger and wants to fight Nelo now. Chaos telling them that is foolish, they disregard his words and processed to find Nelo. Chaos stops them and tells them that he knows how to find Nelo. But in order for them to obtain that information they have to beat him in a fight. Seda and Yula are requested to stay out of the fight. As they are about to fight, Seda had found out the true identity of Chaos before Chaosmon met up with the Digi-Destined. The fallen Digi-Destined that's been missing for 4 years, and whose death is supposed to be avenged is alive, Seda knew it was true, Chaosmon/Chaos is Davis Motomiya.

Temple of Desires- Front gates
Omegamon clashes his sword with Chaosmon's.
Omegamon- Just give the answer and, we won't have to fight!
Chaosmon- Humph...
Chaosmon vanishes and appears behind Omegamon and punches him with the Ban-Tyo. Omegamon hits the wall.
Chaosmon- Fight could've been avoided if you all would listen to reason and not with your emotions!
T.K- Says you, get him, Seraphimon!
Chaosmon turns around. Seraphimon flies at Chaosmon with the Excalibur. Seraphim drives it to Chaosmon. Chaosmon moves to the side and knees Seraphimon in the stomach. Chaosmon does a jump snap kick and kicks him in the air. Chaosmon flies after Seraphimon and appears by Seraphimon upsidedown.
Chaosmon- Bicycle Kick!
Chaosmon kicks Seraphimon back to the ground.
Chaosmon- This is how you're going to fight Nelo? That's irony...
Sora- Garudamon, get him!
Mimi- You too, Lillymon!
Chaosmon sees them flying at him along with MegaKabuterimon. He tilts his head.
Garudamon- WING BLADE!
Lillymon- Flower Cannon!
Both attacks come at Chaosmon. Chaosmon's Darkdramon arm opens its mouth. The Symbol of Sincerity and Love appears and blocks both attacks.
MegaKabuterimon- HORN BUSTER!
Chaosmon generated the Symbol of Knowledge and blocks MegaKabuterimon and pushes him away. Zudomon jumps high in the air with his hammer and comes down on Chaosmon. Chaosmon moves his eyes, the Symbol of Reliability appears and blocks Zudomon's attack. The Symbol vanishes and shoots Zudomon with a force field of energy.
Shakkoumon- Justice Beam!
The beams come at Chaosmon. Chaosmon vanishes as the beams hit Garudamon and Lillymon.
Mimi- Lillymon!
Sora- Garudamon!
Chaosmon appears behind Shakkomon.
Cody- Shakkomon! Behind you!
Before Shakkomon can turn around. Chaosmon punches Shakkoumon in the back with the Darkdramon arm. Seda and Yula watch.
Yula- I never knew Chaosmon was this strong...
Seda- Yeah, it appears he knows how to counter any and all attacks.
Alphamon, Susanoomon, and Gennai watch the battle.
Alphamon- He's definitely strong, stronger than I thought.
Gennai- Yes, that's more curious. Even his fighting style.
Susanoomon- You're right.
Yula- Are you sure we can trust him, Seda?
Seda- Yeah we can. Besides, I said we would not get involved. And you know my word is my bond.
Yula- Ok...
Seda- Don't worry, we can trust Chaosmon.
Shakkoumon crashes into the ground. Chaosmon floats down to the ground and hovers over Shakkoumon.
Chaosmon- I never understood your design...
Willis- Rapidmon, Cherubimon, your turn.
Chaosmon turns his head.
Chaosmon- Ah... Willis.
Gold Rapidmon- Rapid-fire!
Cherubimon- Heaven's Judgment!
Chaosmon slashes the rockets with his Ban-Tyo blade. Chaosmon looks up. Clouds gather.
Chaosmon- I've always been curious about what you were made of from our last encounter...
Chaosmon remembers when the Digi-Destined fight Dark Cherubimon. Lighting bolts rain down on Chaosmon. He stands with no fear.
Chaosmon- Sigh...
The symbol of Destiny appears. It opens like a gate and absorbs the attack, all of the lightning bolts.
Willis- No way!
Chaosmon- Was that attack suppose to scare me?
The symbol of Destiny appears behind Gold Rapidmon and Cheurbimon. They both turn around, the symbol opens and unleashes Cheurbimon's attack on them both. Both of them get hit and fall to the ground and turn back to their rookies.
Willis- No way! Terriermon, Kokomon!
Sora- He took them down with no attacks!
Chaosmon turns his body. All Digimon except Seraphimon and Omegamon are in front of Chaosmon.
Joe- We need more help! Where are Seda and Yula?!
Tai turns around and sees them both sitting on the hill.
Tai- Wha?! Seda, Yula! What are you two sitting down for?! Come and help us!
Yula-... Um...
Seda stands up.
Seda- No, Tai... we won't.
Tai- But why?! We have a chance to fight Nelo if we beat him!
Seda remains silent. He moves his eyes to Chaosmon. Chaosmon turns his head to Seda.
Seda- I can't get involved, Tai. I made a promise to Chaosmon.
Matt- A promise?!
Sora- You need to be helping us!
Seda- In a way I am, but you guys are too blind to see it.
Tai- Yula...
Yula puts her head down.
Seda- Don't get upset with her, Tai. I told her not to get involved either.
Mimi- We need help to beat Chaosmon if we want to fight Nelo! Can't you see that?!
Seda- I know this... but all I see is our failure if we go and face Nelo in the current stage we are in. And I'm not going to put my sister in that kind of danger. Nor I'm not going to let you guys drag Kari, Yolei or Ken into this when they themselves are not ready for such a battle.
Izzy- Seda, in all due respects, we have to fight Nelo eventually! We can beat him if we work together.
Seda- And look where that got everyone? We are not ready to face him.
Tai walks up to Seda furious.
Tai- Listen to me, you better-
Alphamon appears in front of Tai stopping him.
Alphamon- Now you listen to me. You're not to force him to this meaningless fight that you're dragging everyone into. If you want to get to Seda or Yula, you're going have to get through me.
Chaosmon- And if you thought I was strong, Alphamon alone is more than a challenge.
Seda stands there with his arms crossed.
Tai- Gr! Fine, we'll do this on our own!
Tai walks away from Alphamon. Chaosmon nods and looks at the Digimon that is in front of him.
Chaosmon- What else you got?
Garudamon- WING BLADE!
Lillymon- Flower Cannon!
MegaKabuterimon- HORN BUSTER!
Shakkoumon- Justice Beam!
Zudomon- Vulcan's Hammer!
All five attacks come at Chaosmon. He sighs again. The Symbol of Light and Miracles appear and block the attacks. The attacks have been reflected back at the Digimon. They all fall back and turn back into Rookies.
Mimi- Palmon!
Izzy- He beat them all!
Tai- Omegamon!
Matt- It's up to you! Get him!
Chaosmon turns his head.
Omegamon- Supreme Cannon!
The cannon chargers. Chaosmon turns and points his Darkdramon arm. The mouth opens.
Chaosmon- Dark Prominence!
The ground shakes as Chaosmon charges his cannon.
Tai- An earthquake?!
The shake wakes up Kari, Yolei, and Ken.
Kari- What's going on?
Yolei- An earthquake?!
Yolei shields Clara. Ken is curious and goes to see out the window.
Ken- Whoa! They are fighting Chaosmon!
Kari- Who's they?!
Ken- Our friends!
Yolei- What?! But why?!
Ken- I don't know, let's go!
Omegamon and Chaosmon fire their attack. Both attacks collide into one huge sphere of dark and light.
Gennai- The elements of Dark and Light...
Chaosmon readies his Ban-Tyo blade and tucks it in. Omegamon does the same thing with is Transcendent Sword. They both rush at each other and breaks through the collided attack and clash sword. Energy comes from their swords making the ground crack. The ground starts to level, rising out of the ground. Seda stands up.
Seda- This is curious...
Gennai- Both of their elements and attributes are making this phenomenon.
Omegamon- Give us his location!
Chaosmon- Earn it!
Chaosmon twirls Omegamon's sword and smacks his arm of the way.
Chaosmon- End Paradox Blade!
The Symbol of Courage and Friendship appear around Chaosmon's sword.
Tai- Courage...
Matt- Friendship...
Finally, the symbol of Desires appears in the tip part of his sword. All three Symbols goes inside of the sword and powers the sword. Omegamon points his cannon at Chaosmon and charges it.
Omegamon- Supreme cannon-
Chaosmon drives his sword into Omegamon's cannon. The cannon stops charging and creates a huge explosion. The impact pushes everyone away. Seda stabs his sword into the ground and holds on to Yula. Black Agumon and Black Gabumon hold onto Yula and Seda. Alphamon stands there.
Alphamon- Increible power...
Ken holds on to Yolei while their Digimon holds on to them. Kari hides behind a pilar with Gatomon. The Temple starts to crack and break. The whole area is slowly being destroyed.
Tai- This battle is causing so much damage! It's destroying this whole area!
Chaosmon floats as Omegamon shake. His arm is destroyed. Omegamon falls to his knees as he looks at Chaosmon.
Omegamon- How... how do you have so much power?!
Chaosmon- Not your concern...
Chaosmon turns away from Omegamon and walks away. Omegamon turns back to Koromon and Tsunomon. They lie on the ground hurt.
Tai- No... no way...
Matt- He... he...
Izzy- He defeated Omegamon!
Cody- How can he have so much power?!
T.K- We're not done yet! Seraphimon!
Chaosmon looks up. Seraphimon comes straight at Chaosmon.
Seraphimon- Testament!
A huge blue energy sphere surrounds his body and unleashes it at Chaosmon.
Chaosmon- So, you still want to fight? Dragon Slash!
Chaosmon cuts the attack in halve and points his Darkdramon cannon at Serapimon and fires at him. Seraphimon dodges and goes in front of Chaosmon.
T.K- TAKE HIM DOWN!
Seda, Alphamon, Susanoomon, Gennai, and Yula noticed a demonic voice from T.K's words. Chaosmon's eyes are filled with curiosity.
Seraphimon- STRIKE OF THE SEVEN STARS!
Seraphimon fires his attack Chaosmon, however, the attack is filled with darkness.
Chaosmon- Interesting...
Kari- T.K!
T.K ignores Kari and focuses his rage on Chaosmon.
Yolei- Stop!
Chaosmon hums. His eyes flash, the Symbol of Hope appears.
T.K- Hope?
The attack had been deleted. Chaosmon looks at Seraphimon. He notices that something dark is in Seraphimon's heart along with the other members of the Digimon and their Digimon.
Chaosmon- Ah... this is interesting... It's not anger... its darkness because of their actions...
Seda- Darkness?
Alphamon- Well, it appears that most of the Digi-Destined have been tainted with darkness.
Chaosmon- Alphamon is right, we need to get rid of the darkness!
Chaosmon generates all of the Crest Symbols and forms together into a new Symbol. (Imagine all of the Crest Symbols in one circle and in the center is a mix of the first Digivice and the D3's. It's also a mix of each color of the Crest symbols.)
Seda- Another Symbol?
Gennai- Yes, when all normal Crests are formed together, it forms into the Crest of the Digi-Destined. But I'm curious about how Chaosmon knew about it.
Chaosmon pushes the Crest of the Digi-Destined at the Digi-Destined. The symbol passes through them all. All of them shout in the air as darkness comes out of their body.
Seda- Whoa... how did darkness get them?!
Alphamon- I have no idea... but somehow it slipped into them. By Kari, Yolei and Ken are perfectly fine. Even their Digimon.
Chaosmon looks at the darkness as it floats into the sky.
Chaosmon- You...
Inside of the darkness shows three red eyes that are in the form of a triangle. Everyone looks at the three eyes.
Kari- What in God's name is that thing?
Tai- Nelo?
Seda looks up and feels something from inside.
?- Beware... trial 1...
Seda gets startled and looks around.
Seda- Who's there?
Yula- Seda?
Seda turns around, Yula, Alphamon, and Susanoomon look at Seda.
Alphamon- Are you OK?
Seda- Did you not hear that?
Yula- Hear what?
Seda shakes his head and looks at the darkness. Chaosmon gazes into the darkness. Inside of it shows two souls flowing and being created.
Chaosmon- Oh... since two of them are obtained... that means two of them are created.
Chaosmon looks at Seda.
Chaosmon- Seda, I require your assistance! Yula, same for you and your Digimon!
They both run to Chaosmon.
Seda- Let me guess, something is coming?
Chaosmon- Rather two things are coming. Two Corruptus Digimon is coming.
Yula- Two?!
Chaosmon- Right, we need to take them down, up for the challenge?
Seda- Yeah, but what about the others?
Chaosmon- Yula, you help them inside of the temple. Kari, Yolei and Ken! Help everyone get inside!
Kari- We're on it!
Yula and the other three begin to help the other members to safety. Seda and Chaosmon lookup. The darkness forms into a huge sphere of darkness.
Seda- What's happening?
Chaosmon- Two of the Legendary Crests have been obtained, so two Corruptus Digimon's seals have been broken.
Seda- Are all Crests like that?
Chaosmon- Yes, unfortunately, we have to kill them before they can cause destruction.
The sphere cracks.
Seda- They come!
The sphere shatters and reveals flying insect/mermaid Digimon with no legs but flies with six wings. The head is two hands together as there is a mouth a nose but no eyes. All of the wings have 13 small eyeballs on them.
Seda- What is that thing?!
The second Corruptus Digimon is an adult-human size Digimon that is a skeleton and its head has horns on it. It wears a black hakama and two red katana blades with long arms. The face also has a mask made of blood and has a creepy smile on it with scars on the eyes.
Seda- What kind of Digimon are these?!
Alphamon- Ferousios monsters... Corruptus Digimon comes from the God of Darkness. They are monsters that cannot be partners and know nothing good. Only evil lurks in their souls.
Seda- Who are they?
Alphamon- The flying Mermaid is called Artemismon, a mermaid Digimon that was once a peaceful water Digimon. But was corrupted by the God of Darkness. It will tempt you to commit acts of lust and when you do, it feasts upon your flesh and bones. It also tells that it can produce oversprung once it devours a male counterpart. And the other one is called Ravagermon. A speed demon that once knew of honor, but just like Artemismon, the God of Darkness turned him into a Digimon hunter and slaughters Digimon and Human with no pity. They say the mask it wears is a mix of data and blood as well as his blades.
Seda- You gave me goosebumps just by telling me of who they are.
Susanoomon- They must be destroyed. I still sense their power that's over a Mega Level Digimon.
Chaosmon- You are right, which is why the Digi-Destined seek shelter. They are not ready to face monsters such as these.
Ravagermon laughs evilly and walks towards everyone. Seda readies himself.
Alphamon- Careful, Seda, this fiend here has some great speed.
Seda- Noted...
Seda blinks, once he opens his eyes again, Ravagermon appears in front of Seda and stabs Seda in the chest.
Seda- AHHH!
Alphamon- Seda!
Artemismon flies at the strong Digimon. Susanoomon jumps at Artemismon and punches her back. It flies in the air. All eyes on each wing glow.
Artemismon- Temptation Rain!
Chaosmon- Don't get touch by those beams!
Artemismon fires a plethora of beams at Susanoomon.
Susanoomon- Heaven's Thunder!
The lightning bolts strike down on her attack and delete it. Artemismon glides at Susanoomon and wraps him with her six wings. The head opens up and shows the inside of her head which is another mouth.
Susanoomon- Get the hell off me!
Alphamon appears behind Artemismon and cuts her back with the Ouryuken blade. She yells and lets go of Susanoomon. Seda growls as he puts his hand on Ravagermon's sword.
Seda- If you think I'm dead, YOU GOT ANOTHER THING COMING! DIGITALIZE OF SOUL!
Seda fires Alphamon's attack at Ravagermon and hits him. A warp gate opens as Ravagermon falls into it and closes the gate.
Seda- What?!
Ravagermon- EVIL BLOOD SLASHER!
The warp gate opens from behind. Seda turns his head. Ravagermon comes out of the gate and repeatedly slashes Seda with his katana blades. He goes into another gate and comes out again and again and again. Seda is being all cut up. Ravagermon comes out through another gate and dashes and goes straight through Seda. Seda drops his sword and falls to the ground. Ravagermon is at Seda's face with his katana about to kill him. Seda growls.
Chaosmon- Dragon Slash!
Ravagermon turns his body and blocks Chaosmon's attack and vanishes. He reappears and strikes Chaosmon with both katanas.
Chaosmon blocks with his Darkdramon arm and pushes Ravagermon back. Ravagermon vanishes into another warp gate.
Ravagermon- EVIL BLOOD SLASHER!
Chaosmon- Oh that trick again...
Chaosmon generates the Crest of Knowledge, Hope, and Reliability. The Crest of Knowledge locates of where the gate is going to appear. The Crest of Reliability splits into four and surrounds all four directions of where the gate will open. Ravagermon comes out and is blocked by the Crest of Reliability. The gate vanishes, Ravagermon is being pushed around by all four copies of the Reliability Symbols. The Crest of Hope appears from above. It shines bright. Chaosmon generates the Symbol of Light and Miracles. All three mix together and comes down like a beam. The beam impacts on Ravagermon. Ravagermon bounces off the ground and into the air.
Chaosmon- Seda, Yula, finish him!
Yula- Blackwargreymon, and Blackmetalgarurumon! Get him!
Seda transforms into Laveryenmon.
Blackwargreymon- Terra Destroyer!
Blackmetalgarurumon- Blizzard Wolf Claw!
Both attacks come at Ravagermon and impact on him. It falls from the sky. Laveryenmon flies at Ravagermon, he charges his spear and aims for Ravagermon. Ravagermon vanishes into a warp gate.
Laveryenmon- You can't pull the same trick on me twice!
A gate opens from behind. Laveryenmon turns around.
Laveryenmon- Heaven's serge!
Ravagermon comes out of the warp gate as Laveryenmon throws his spear at Ravagermon's face and pushes him back into the gate. It closes and creates a huge impact, pushing Laveryenmon and Yula's Digimon. Laveryenmon holds his hand out. His spear is back in his hand with Ravagermon's head attached to it. Laveryenmon crushes the head with his hand.
Laveryenmon- One down, one to go!
Alphamon swings his sword up, throwing Artemismon high up in the air. Susanoomon meets her from the end. He generates his ZERO-ARM: Orochi.
Susanoomon- Celestial Blade!
Susanoomon fires the weapon and the blade goes through her body. Alphamon flies high in the air.
Alphamon- Let's try this new attack! Alpha King Dragon Energy Force Obliterator!
Alphamon's soul comes out of his body, the Ouryuken blade opens as his soul is in between the blade. His whole body becomes gold. He holds his sword upside down and goes straight down. Artemismon falls into a dimensional portal. Artemismon is in a different dimensional that looks like space but more colorful. Alphamon goes through the portal and stabs Artemismon with the sword. His soul goes inside of Artemismon. Alphamon flies out of the portal and closes. Beams of light comes out of Artemismon, she screams loudly as a supernova is created destroying Artemismon. Alphamon lands on the ground as his soul appears back into his body.
Laveryenmon- There, that should be it.
Gennai- Not quite...
Everyone looks up. The three glowing red eyes appear and stare at everyone.
Laveryenmon- Who are you?!
The unknown entity remains silent. Both of the Corruptus Digimon's souls appear.
Alphamon- What's happening now?!
Chaosmon looks down. A large bizarre pool of tepid green slime appears out of the ground.
Chaosmon- Watch out!
Everyone looks down and gets away from the green slime.
Laveyrenmon- Gah! That's disgusting! What is that thing?
Alphamon- I can't say, I can't get any reading on this thing! Huh?
Both of the Corruptus Cores goes inside of the slime.
Susanoomon- It's absorbing the Corruptus cores... but why?
The slime shakes as the two cores bounce around the slime body.
Laveryenmon- If I have to look at this thing any longer I'm going to puke! Heaven's serge!
Chaosmon- Laveryenmon! Wait!
Laveryenmon throws the spear into the sky. A huge beam of red light comes down on the slime. The slime opens it's the body and swallows the attack whole.
Laveyrenmon- What?!
The slime's body builds itself into a small hill like body. The body is having a shape slug-like with runes and armor on it along with exhaust pipes on it.
Laveyrenmon- What... what is that thing?!
The front opens like a demon energy gun and charges the mouth. It points at Laveryenmon. It fires a grey and green beam out of its mouth and hit Laveryenmon.
Laveyrenmon- GAH!
Laveryremon falls out of the sky and crashes to the ground and turns back into Seda.
Seda- Gah! It burns!
Alphamon- Seda!
Alphamon lands next to him. Alphamon sees the burns on Seda's body.
Alphamon- What was that?!
Alphamon looks at the slug monster turning back into the slime monster.
Chaosmon- This monster only attacks if we attack it...
The slime fires a sharp blade at Chaosmon. Chaosmon moves out of the way.
Chaosmon- Or not...
Susanoomon- We have to destroy this thing! Heaven's Thunder!
Susanoomon strikes the slime but with no effect.
Susanoomon- What?!
The slime forms into the slug-like body again and fires the same beam at Susanoomon. Susanoomon dodges it. He realizes a core stick out its back.
Susanoomon- That core... curious...
Susanoomon generated his ZERO-ARMS
Suanoomon- Celestial Blade!
The blade comes out and Susanoomon slashes the core. The monster roars loudly as a piece of the core breaks.
Chaosmon- That core... that's the weak spot! Everyone, attack it!
Blackwarreymon- Terra Force!
Blackmetalgarurumon- Blizzard Wolf Claw!
Alphamon- Digitize of Soul!
All three attacks hit the core and make it break more.
Chaosmon- Paradox End Blade!
Chaosmon comes down and slashes the core. The core is slowly begin deleted. The monster pushes everyone back with a field of energy and turns back into the slime. The monster starts to vanish.
Gennai- It's vanishing... hm...
The entity is taking the monster back into the sky.
Gennai- It's taking it back...
The entity looks at Seda.
?- What a disappointment...
Seda twitches as he looks at the entity.
Seda (To himself)- Who are you?!
?- Until we meet again... you need to get stronger.
The entity vanishes. Seda gets up.
Seda- Wait! GAH!
Seda falls to his knees.
Seda- It burns!
Seda looks at his stomach. It slowly decays.

Gennai helps Seda up along with Yula.
Gennai- Don't worry, Seda, you'll be back to normal before you know it.
Seda- Gr... I hope you're right.
Everyone walks forward to the Temple. Alphamon stares at Seda a bit concern. Chaosmon notices his concern.
Chaosmon- Alphamon?
Alphamon looks at Chaosmon.
Chaosmon- Fear not, he's a strong person. You are is Digimon partner so you should know that.
Alphamon- Yes, I do, but that's the reason for my concern.
Chaosmon- Understood, let's go.
Chaosmon passes through Alphamon. Alphamon looks forward as he sees Seda. He hums and looks down.
Alphamon- I won't allow it to happen again...
Alphamon walks forward.
Temple of Desires- Resting area
Seda is set in the Water of Miracles. He growls loudly as the burns begin to sting. Everyone else that fought Chaosmon is also set in the Water of Miracles.
Kari- Are they going to be ok?
Chaos- Yes.
Chaosmon turns back into Chaos as he walks near Kari and the other two.
Yolei- Can someone explain to me who started that fight?
Ken- Yeah what were you guys fighting about?
Everyone remained silent. Chaos puts his head down and walks forward. He turns to Kari, Yolei, and Ken as well as to their Digimon.
Chaos- They were assisting to go and fight Nelo.
Ken- Say what?!
Kari- This is a joke right?
Yolei- We all know how powerful Nelo is, why would they try and fight him?
Chaos- They were filled with anger and rage to the point were a seed of darkness sprouted in their hearts. Even the Digimon themselves. I figured that out when Seraphimon and T.K had attacked me. Seraphimon's attack was covered with darkness as well as T.K.
Kari- How did that happen?
Chaos- It is a common thing to do actually. When someone is fueled by revenge, they tend to not think but only act. However, when people are driven by so much rage they become more vulnerable for darkness to take them. Since we are in the Digital World, there are a lot of evil forces here that can slip into there hearts. My guess is that anger they have with Nelo and his actions caused them to seek nothing by revenge. They were blinded by anger and procced to go with their ambitions. And secretly, all of them knew that they may not come back. Isn't that right, Tai, Matt, Izzy, everyone?
Chaos turns his head to everyone in the water. They all remain silent with their heads down.
Chaos- I told them of the dangers and the foolish acts of what would happen should they went through with their ideas... so they forced my hand to stop them. They were seeking my answer on how to find Nelo. If they defeat me, I would have granted them that answer.
Ken- You know how to find him?
Chaos- Yes, but it is a bit tricky to get him. His hideout is located through a rift that is between the Digital World, the World of Darkness and the Digital World: Lliad.
Kari- World of Darkness?
Ken- Digital World: Lliad?
Yolei- So he is located in the center of those all three worlds?
Chaos- That's right, to get to him, we need to rip open a rift to get to his castle. There lies the Supreme Digimon King, Nelo.
Kari- How do we do that?
Chaos- In order for us to do that, we need to get the rest of the Legendary Crests.
Ken- Like these?
Ken and Yolei hold out their Crests.
Chaos- Correct, and we need to get the rest of them in order for you guys to be more powerful than you all could ever imagine.
Yolei- Is there one for everyone?
Chaos- Yes, the God of Light created those Crests for the first Digi-Destined for them have full power for their Digimon and defeat the Dark Digi-Destined and the God of Darkness. Each member had their own share of the Crests, some had more than others but for good reason. Four of the Members each had 2 Crests and the leader had 5 of the Crest.
Kari- So, there are 13 of them?
Chaos- That's right, two of them we have, which is the Crest of Justice and the Crest of Truth. Now we need to get the other 11. With those Crests, you guys will have a chance to defeat Nelo. However, there is a Dark Crest.
Ken- A Dark Crest?
Chaos- Yes, and that Crest is dangerous. For whoever wields it can merge all world together and shift the balance into chaos.
Seda- Gr... is that what Nelo is trying to do?
Chaos looks at Seda. Seda gets out of the water holding his stomach.
Seda- He told me once that the Human World and the Digital World was at the edge of merging into one. Is that how he can do it?
Chaos- Yes, that's correct. In order for him to create the Dark Crest, he would need many Dark Digimon Cores and specific Unknown Type Digimon.
Seda- Unknown type?
Chaos- Correct...
Everyone pays attention to Chaos.
Chaos- As you all know, there are attributes for each Digimon. You got Vaccine, Virus, and Data. However, there is also a None Type Digimon and Unknown type. None and Unknown type Digimon are rare in their own right. However, the Unknown type Digimon are said to be powerful Digimon, stronger than most Digimon. Nelo needs Unknown type Digimon to break the seal of the Dark Crest.
Seda- But if he needed Unknown type Digimon, he would have done that already.
Chaos- I said he needed specific Unknown type. He needs the Unknown type Corruptus Digimon.
Ken- Specific? Specific Corruptus Digimon?
Chaos- You got it. In ancient times, the God of Darkness had created Digimon that were above Mega Level Digimon. And each of them was sealed away after the war by the God of Light. Then he had sealed the Crests until they were needed again. However, when the God of Light sealed the Crests, the God of Darkness placed a spell on each Crest. Which would revive the evil Digimon that Nelo needs.
Seda- Wait... so that entity that we saw...
Chaos- I'm afraid that you are right... that was the God of Darkness.
Everyone remains silent and yet are scared.
Tai- No way... so that thing is Nelo's creator?
Chaos- That's right, and if you thought Nelo was terrifying and evil, well then, you guys saw a very small piece of a fraction of his power.
Matt- But what is the point of getting those Crests if it's going to help Nelo? Each one we get, Nelo gets a Corruptus core.
Izzy- Matt is right, we are only helping Nelo get the Dark Crest.
Alphamon- Maybe that's true, but that may be the only way to stop him. Those Crests have powers that can break the seal and locate the location of the Divine Data Knight, Wizelmon.
Seda- Wizelmon?
Chaos- That's right, Wizelmon is only Digimon in both worlds that can break through his armor. With the Crests alone, you have a great chance to beat Nelo. But if to have Wizelmon, there will be a 100% promise that Nelo will fall. However... if Nelo is able to get rid of at least one of you, it will all be over.
Everyone looks at Chaos scared.
Joe- Just one of us?!
Mimi- Human or Digimon?!
Chaos- That's right. Now you see why I had to stop you guys. If even one of you guys is killed whether it is you of the Digimon, everything will be lost. The Crests needs its host. And if one dies, we can't get all of the Crests.
Tai and others who fought Chaosmon are speechless.
T.K- So, that's the reason why you were so hard on us... you knew would die if we tried to fight Nelo.
Chaos- That's right. So, besides getting your Mega Levels, each fo you needs to get one of those Crest. We can't have hate and revenge in this fight. I know you all want to get back at Nelo for all of the pain he has caused you guys. But that's what he wants you guys to do. During each encounter, somehow he has planted Seeds of Darkness in your guys. Causing you all to feel angry, and soon to be evil. Because that is another way for him to get the Dark Crest, he needs to turn the current Digi-Destined evil and drain their powers.
Kari- But why hasn't it affect me, Yolei or Ken?
Chaos- Ken and Yolei's darkness was gone after they got Clara back and had obtained their Crests. You on the other hand, for some reason, your Crest has the power of Miracles in it.
Gatomon- What do you mean?
Chaos- Kari's Crest is a lot more special than what anyone else thinks. The Crest of Light is something powerful, and there are some mysteries in which not I'm sure of what we know about. Your Crest is titled by the God of Light, the Crest of Light. Which is why your unexplainable power is always wanted. You are more special then you think, Kari.
Kari- I never realized how important I am.
Gennai- This is something that I didn't even know. When we created the Crests for you eight, I knew they are powerful, but I had no idea of how powerful the Crest of Light was.
Chaos- Only a certain few know of it, I just so happen to know about it. Even the Sovereigns and the Royal Knights don't know about it.
Alphamon- Hm... So, how do we get the Crests?
Chaos- Each member has to be through a trial of pain and turmoil whether it is from the enemy or facing the demons of themselves and going beyond what their Crests mean. Take Ken and Yolei, for instance, they were able to get their Crests by channeling their true powers of Kindness, Love, and Sincerity. Along with losing their child and Digimon. They want to do better, their Desires had to be beyond the norm. As for how everyone else is going to go through the same trial... I'm uncertain. Fate has a strange sense of humor and we just need to play in it.
Palmon- So, who gets their Crest next?
Seda- I really don't think there is a box with our names in it.
Chaos- Seda is right, this is something we can't and try to get because we want or need it. This is something that fate decides on.
Yula- But knowing Nelo, he will target anyone. He knew the Yolei was pregnant, he knew about Ken's concern.
Gennai- I would imagine that he would put this matter into his own hands.
Chaos- You are right, that being said, it is very important that you guys are prepared for anything that Nelo might throw at you. It can be anyone that could be next.
Willis- Now that we are on the subject of the Legendary Crests, how were they created?
Chaos- In legend, when the war had struck, the God of Darkness armed the Dark Digi-Destined with their own evil Crests. Those Crest gave them the power they needed to use the Dark Data Knights at their full power. They could wipe out the God of Light forces in a matter of hours. The God of Light, he feared that darkness would be victorious, but he did the exact same thing as what the God of Darkness did. The only thing that he did differently, he used a piece of his own power to create them. The God of Darkness created his Crests out of evil Digimon and darkness. So, The God of Light had to match his Crests with the God of Darkness. Thus he created 13 Crests that he called the Crests of Divine or what we call it, the Legendary Crests. Once the First Digi-Destined were in their hands, they pushed back the dark forces and defeated the Dark Data Knights and the Dark Digi-Destined. In the end, the God of Light defeated the God of Darkness. Without the Crests that the God of Light created, they would have failed. With those powers and their Digimon partners along with their own army and the God of Light, it created one epic battle that lasted for years. When the war had ended, there was only the leader of the group. The rest had lost their lives.
Sora- That's sad...
Chaos- Yes, but war is sad, the leader gave the Crest back to the God of Light and that's when he sealed away.
Tai- So, we have to get those Crests now, even if it will help Nelo out?
Chaos- Yes, but once we get those Crests and have Wizelmon, we can finally end Nelo. But it's not going to be easy. Nelo knows about this and he'll do everything he can to stop you guys. That's why he's targeting each of you one by one.
Agumon- Will we be able to Digivolve further if we get these Crests?
Chaos- Absolutely, Wormmon and Hawkmon Digivolved into Digimon that are above Mega Digimon. Some out say they are just Mega forms, but with those Crests, they are stronger.
Seda looks at his Sword.
Chaos- And Seda.
Seda looks at Chaos.
Chaos- Wizelmon, getting him is just as important as the others getting the Crests. Wizelmon's sword is able to pierce through Nelo's armor. His armor is clouded with Dark Chrome Digizoid. And Wizelmon is the only Digimon aside from the God of Light and Darkness that can break through his armor.
Seda- Wait, didn't you break through his armor during your battle with him?
Chaos- I did, but it took all of my strength to give a few small cuts. By now, his armor would have regenerated. The God of Light gave Wizelmon the perfect sword to break through any type of Chrome Digizoid.
Seda- So, once they get the Crests, we can get Wizelmon?
Yula- Something tells me that it's not that simple.
Chaos- You just might be right. I don't have the answer to whether you get him right away, but during the time of my life, I realized that nothing in this world is easy. So, best to expect the unexpected.
Seda- Right...
Seda holds his stomach as it burns. He growls and falls to his knees.
Yula- Seda!
Yula and Tai help him up.
Alphamon- What did that Digimon do? He was Laveryenmon when he was attacked.
Gennai- My guest went through the Digimon body and get Seda's body. That burn seems to be getting worse.
Joe- Let me take a look at it.
Izzy- Me too, I might be able to figure it out with my computer.
Gennai- Alright, but I think Seda better sit out for a bit. He can't fight is he's like this.
Seda- No... I can still fight.
Seda stands on his feet.
Seda- Besides, Nelo is still out there and resting is a luxury that I can't afford right now.
Alphamon- Fine, but just rest for now. Have, Joe, Izzy and Gennai figure out a remedy for that burn.
Seda- Fine...
Chaos looks at Seda.
Chaos (To himself) - He has a strong will...
Chaos turns around and walks away. Kari looks at Chaos.
Kari- Chaos, wait.
Chaos stops by Kari's voice. He stands there.
Kari- You never told us, and I remember this... but how is it you have a D3?
Cody- A D3?
Ken- Kari is right, we saw it when our Crests came to us.
Chaos remains silent and lowers his head. Kari goes in front of Chaos, blocking his path.
Kari- You can also generate our Crests to deliver offensive and defensive abilities. How is that possible?
Chaos sighs and shakes his head.
Tai- Chaos?
Chaos turns around looking at everyone. He holds out his hand. His palm shines as a blue and white crystal D3 appears.
Chaos- Yes, it is true, I have a D3... It was given to me.
Kari- By whom... and that color...
Chaos- That's right, it's the same as your friend Davis. This is his D3.
Everyone is stunned.
Kari- Davis's D3?!
Yolei- How? But why?!
Ken- How did you get his D3?!
Chaos- He gave it to me for safekeeping before he... you know...
Kari- Please tell us, what happened?!
Chaos- Sigh... well, all I know is that he fought Nelo prior to you guys knowing to his disappearance. Davis explained to me what he was doing and he fought Nelo. He was searching for something, Davis knew something was happening in the Middle East. Something that he needed help with... but... when he requested for help, he never received help.
Everyone is silent.
Tai- I... I remember that day.
Matt- Yeah, me too...
Izzy- He sent me the same email.
Ken- I... I got the same email... he said that he spotted something evil in the Middle East...
Chaos- That's right, he requested your guy's help. But... Davis didn't get it. So, he and Veemon took on the challenge on their own... and you all know what happened next...
Everyone remains silent. Everyone had found that Davis needed help, but he was either ditched or forgotten about.
Chaos- He never received a message from you guys for years, but he reached out for help but... nothing took place. But Davis, he only accepted it and went on his own. You guys knew he was going on a trip to the Middle East, but what you guys didn't understand was that he was in danger... I remember everything like it was yesterday. I have to say, it was rather sad. He handed me his D3 along with his Digi-Eggs. Veemon... I can still remember the painful sorrow in that little guy's eyes. He lost his best friend, Veemon and I watched him die...
Flashback- Forest of Chaos (Bare in mind, when I use '(V.O)' That means Chaos is telling the story. Some people might know that alright, but some might be slower than others.
Daivs is lying on the ground shaking. Veemon crawls to Davis.
Chaos (V.O)- Suffering from defeat... Veemon crawls to Davis after following Davis into the portal in which Nelo threw him in.
Veemon- Davis... hold on!
Davis moves his eyes to Veemon. A white and black soul floats, hovering over Davis and Veemon.
Chaos (V.O)- At the time, I was only a spirit as what you all see today. I can feel the pain in both of their hearts. So, I approached him.
Chaos- What has happened?
Veemon looks up.
Veemon- Please help! My best friend is hurt badly!
Chaos forms into the cloaked Chaos. He kneels to Davis.
Chaos- What happened, who are you?
Davis looks a Chaos.
Davis- I'm... I'm one of the Digi-Destined... and I just fought a powerful being who calls himself Nelo.
Chaos- Nelo?! The Supreme Digimon King?! You must be mad to face him alone!
Davis- Hah... well that's what happens when your friends are scared or forget you... I wanted help... no... I needed help...gr gah!
Davis coughs out blood. Tears come from his eyes.
Veemon- Davis! Please save your strength!
Davis holds his D3 to Chaos.
Davis- But I still need to do this... Please, I have a final request for you.
Chaos- But you don't even know me.
Davis- You came to my aid did you not? That's how I can trust you.
Chaos (V.O)- Davis knew he could trust me, even though my name is Chaos.
Davis- Please... hold on to this... this is yours now...
Chaos looks at his D3.
Veemon- Davis! What are you doing?
Davis- I'm sorry, Veemon... I wish I can stick around longer... but I don't think I will be able to. Please, don't be mad at our friends... we can not force them to help us... even if we would drop things for them.
Chaos- Davis... your... your Digimon partner needs you! You can just leave him!
Davis- I won't... I'll always be there with him in spirit. I'm entrusting this to you, Chaos.
Chaos- How do you know my name?!
Davis- It doesn't matter... I need you to watch over them for me while I'm gone... and please, keep this safe from harm.
Davis hands him his D3.
Davis- With my Crests powers, you will become solid, and have the strength of the others...
Veemon- Davis! Please, don't go! I still need you!
Davis looks at Veemon and smiles. He reaches into his shirt and rips off a pendent and hands it to Veemon.
Davis- When... when you see Kari, please give her that. My love for her never died.
Veemon- Davis, I won't! You can do it yourself! Please!
Veemon cries hard.
Davis- I'm sorry... but I don't have any more time... goodbye, my best friend...
Davis closes his eyes and turns his head.
Veemon- Davis?! DAVIS?! DAVIS!
Veemon shakes Davis hard.
Veemon- No! I refuse to lose you!
Veemon V-Headbutts Davis. Davis remains on the ground lifeless. Veemon finally realized that Davis is dead.
Veemon- No... no! This can be! DAVIS!
Veemon shouts into the sky and he cries. Chaos holds on to Davis's D3. It turns into the crystal D3. He turns solid.
Chaos- I will honor your wish, Davis. I will make sure they will not go astray.
Flashback end- Temple of the Desires, Rest area
Everyone remains silent. All of them feel terrible. Kari falls to her knees as tears come from her eyes. She is motionless and stares into despair
Chaos- Davis knew the dangers of what he was getting into. He always kept a smile on his face and never held a grudge on you guys. So, Davis gave me his D3, and to watch over you guys. Davis was a true friend to you guys.
Tai- But... we weren't true friends to him. We knew he was going on that trip. But when he did, that was the last time we saw him.
Sora- We all got an email from Davis about him needing help. Matt and I were on our vacation for our anniversary.
Chaos- Yes... I know what your reasons were. But, you all can't beat yourselves up for this. Davis understood your guy's reason. And that's how strong he is. Knowing that his friends were either busy or didn't have a care in the world about him anymore, Davis still had his job to do. He knew some of you secretly hated him or dislike him. I won't mention any names, but you know who you are.
Everyone looks at one another.
Kari- What... where did you bury him?
Chaos- Veemon and I buried him where is had passed... but...
Chaos turns away from them.
Ken- But what?! Please tell us!
Chaos- Nelo found out of where is body was and took it and turn his body into stone.
Yolei- To stone?!
Willis- Why stone?!
Chaos- That, I'm not certain. Nelo has no key to unlock his door of mysteries.
Chaos puts the D3 away.
Chaos- So, you guys know the story. Now, do you wish you never had heard it?
Kari- Not really... but we had to find out eventually...
Mimi- I never realized that Davis was in danger...
Tai- Dammit!
Tai slams his fist to the wall.
Tai- How could we have been so careless?! Davis needed our help and we turned our backs on him! Even though he would have come for our aid if we needed help!
Tai cries hard. Yula walks to him and holds him.
Chaos- What's done is done, Tai. Remember, you can't beat yourself up with this.
Tai- I sure can! Davis needed our help, my help and we... I... I let my jealousy and pride get the best of me!
Chaos- What do you mean?
Tai- I was the leader of the Digi-Destined when we first became the Digi-Destined... Once I found out that Davis was apart of the team, I was at first proud. But I saw him grow up, becoming more of a leader than I ever was. I secretly hated him for that because I thought he was going to take my place!
Tai cries harder and falls to his knees and slams his fist to the ground.
Tai- His courage was better than mine, he never gave up on anything or have any doubts in himself. During the fight with MaloMyotismon, he fought him with all of his heart and soul when no one else wanted to. He never gave up with Armageddonmon, he never stopped to fight for his friends or for himself!
Everyone hears Tai's dark secret. Chaos remains silent.
Matt- We never knew you those feelings or emotions towards him...
Tai- It's something I'm not proud of to think of... he did no harm but have the courage of a true leader. In fact, he had all of the traits that our Crests resemble...
Chaos walks up to Tai and kneels down. He holds out his hand.
Chaos- Tai.
Tai opens his eyes and looks at Chaos. Chaos and Yula help Tai up.
Chaos- He is not mad at you guys, he understands what the reasons were. Regardless of what you said, I know that he wouldn't hold that against you. That's why he asked me to watch over you guys.
Seda- But you guys can't let this cloud your mind. I can't imagine what you must be feeling. But just know that this your chance to correct your mistakes and take down the one who is responsible for his death.
Cody- Seda is right, though our selfish actions caused him to meet his demise, Nelo is the one who caused all of this.
Ken- If Nelo wasn't here, Davis would still be alive.
Chaos- That's right, if you truly are sorry for it Tai, then show the courage of being a leader and help your team fight Nelo.
Tai nods as he still sobs.
Tai- Leave it to me...
Tai's Digivice glows brightly.
Tai- What's this?
Chaos looks at his D3 it shows Tai's Crest of Courage on it. Behind the Crest of Courage is another Symbol.
Chaos- Ah... remarkable. Tai, but you admitting your dark secret, you found the courage you needed to admit something that no one else would. Courage goes beyond than just overcoming the fears of the enemy. It also takes great courage to admit something that you never wanted to say or fighting your inner self. To be a leader, you must admit the wrongs to overcome them and to not make the same mistakes. Leaders reflect on their mistakes and fears. A foolish leader only acknowledges the mistakes and looks down on ours.
Tai- What does this mean? Huh?!
Tai's Digivice turns Vermillion red and the lines shine orange. The front design has the Crest of Courage on the face of the Digivice. On the screen shows a Crest Symbol.
Tai- What's this?! Gah!
A huge flash comes out of the Digivice. Everyone but Chaos covers their eyes. Everyone opens their eyes. A red Crest floats in Tai's hand.
Tai- Is... is this what I think it is?!
Chaos- That's right, that is your Legendary Crest, the Crest of Leadership.
Tai- Leadership? No way...
Chaos- By facing your fears, and using your own courage to face your inner demons is never easy. And now, the Crest of Leadership, one of the Crests that the leader of the First Digi-Destined wielded is yours. Use it wisely, that Crest holds powers that would and could twist a man's mind, yes, but it could also be used for the right reasons. I know that you will make the right decisions. Congratulations, Tai.
Everyone is wowed by Tai's Crest.
Tai- Davis, I promise that I will make things right. Just show you how sorry I am, I... no, we will defeat Nelo.
Matt- That's the best friend I know. We can do this, we just need to not beat ourselves up for this anymore. Yes, I'm guilty of having dark feelings and secrets to Davis. But I will only honor the memories of the good times and the hard work he put into friendship. I won't let you go in alone or take full responsibility for it. We need to correct our mistakes and we will do it with the nobility of today's Digi-Destined with you and me side-by-side.
Matt's Digivice glows brightly. (I bet you all saw this coming if you're a huge fan of Tai and Matt. When one ranks up, the other one ranks up as well.)
Chaos- What do we have here?
Matt pulls out his Digivice. Chaos looks at his D3. It shows the Crest of Friendship. And be behind the symbol is another Crest symbol. Matt's Digivice turns sapphire blue and the lines shine white. The Symbol of Friendship is on the face of the Digivice. The inside of the screen shows a new symbol.
Matt- Me too?
Chaos- Correct, by honoring your memories and the nobility of your character, it showed those true feelings of you and Davis as well as everyone else around you. Friendship goes beyond being there for your friends and helping them out. It's about honoring them, whether they are down in sorrow or they are no longer here and you honoring their wishes.
A flash comes out of Matt's Digivice just like Tai's. Matt opened his eyes and sees a sapphire blue Crest. (For Tai's and Matt's Crests, look up Crest of Leadership and Nobility on google. The best way to describe their Crests. Unless you want to have your own design, you are more than welcome to do so.)
Matt- This is my Legendary Crest?
Chaos- Correct, the Crest of Nobility. Another Crest that the leader of the First Digi-Destined had. Just like Tai's Crest and the other two, it has powers that can twist a person's mind. Use it wisely.
Tai- Now we only need nine more.
Matt- That's right, everyone, listen up.
Matt turns to everyone.
Matt- This here proves that we can defeat Nelo.
Tai- And we will do it for Davis. Whatever grudges we have had on him for whatever reason, we need to drop it and move on. We won't let those negative thoughts get the best of us. We should not act rashly with Nelo. He is the toughest enemy that we have ever fought, and we won't give up.
Sora- Tai and Matt are right.
Everyone agrees. Seda nods as he looks at Chaos. Chaos looks at Seda.
Temple of Desires- Chaos's chamber
Chaos stands out on his bouncy looking at the night sky and its moon and stars.
Chaos- It's getting closer...
Chaos looks at his hand. It slowly starts to fall apart like dust.
Chaos- My time is limited... but if I'm here to guide them to their Crests and get to Nelo, then so be it.
Kari- Chaos?
Chaos hears Kari's voice. He turns around.
Chaos- Kari? What's wrong?
Chaos walks up to her.
Kari- I wanted to say thank you... for telling us about Davis...
Chaos- You're still taking it pretty hard huh?
Kari- Yeah... I'm guilty of making him jealous.
Chaos- Hm? Oh, because of you and T.K?
Kari- Yeah... I'm not proud of it now that I grew up. We got him jealous because everyone knew how much he loved me. I guess... I guess we played with his emotions and feelings.
Chaos- But you've learned from your mistakes, right?
Kari- Yeah... I did. I soon realized that he stopped having those feelings for me. Maybe because I pushed him away. All he did was love and care for me, and I repaid him with childish actions. I always wondered about what would be like if he and I ever did date. But I won't be able to know that feeling.
Chaos- He gave you that pendant, right?
Kari looks at her chest and pulls out the pendant.
Kari- Yeah... Veemon gave it to me when we saw him back in our world... but I also blame myself for the death of Veemon. I wasn't strong enough to help or protect him.
Chaos- Yes, it was a tragic loss... I too am filled with sorrow. I knew Veemon for a short time. So, I know the feeling. But, you have to realize that he protected you because that was Davis's dying wish. To protect you at all costs. And that's what Veemon did. If Veemon didn't stop Nidhogmon's attack, you would have died and everyone would have lost. Besides, we can shield anyone from fate. Davis is not mad you for the wrong you've done. He still and always have loved you. He never stopped.
Kari- You sure?
Chaos- His D3 tells me everything on his mind or rather was on his mind. You always popped up in his head. Trust me when I say this, you only wanted what's best for you and nothing more. I can tell you this with all of my limited soul, you are loved by him.
Kari- I wonder if I'm ever going to see him again.
Chaos- What would you do if you could?
Kari- Tell him how sorry I am, and tell him of how I feel about him.
Chaos- I see, well, I'm sure he knows now. He's watching over you and he won't let you be guided by the misfortune of darkness.
Kari smiles and nods. A tear falls from her face as she holds onto the pendant. Chaos puts his hand on Kari's face and wipes the tear-off from her face. Kari sobs more and cries hard.
Kari- Davis, I'm so sorry... just know that I will change. And I will fight for you.
Chaos nods. Kari hugs Chaos tight as she buries her face into his chest and cries. Chaos wraps his arms around Kari and holds on to her.
Chaos- It's alright... let it out.
Chaos rubs her head. Chaos's sighs as D3 glows small. It shows the Crest of Light on it as well as the Crest of Courage and the Crest of Miracles on it. His D3 turns into a mix color of Davis's D3 and Kari's. The color goes to metallic blue and pink.
Chaos (To himself) - This kills me... but it'd be best if I don't tell her of who I am.
T.K hides behind a wall as he sees Kari with Chaos. He hums. He walks away. Chaos sense T.K's presence but remains comforting Kari.
Chaos- Kari, you should get some rest.
Kari lets go of Chaos.
Kari- I will, thank you, Chaos.
Chaos nods as Kari walks away from him. She leaves his chamber.
Chaos- Do you often envy those who comfort your loved ones, or is this a new thing, T.K?
T.K steps out of the shadows and enters Chaos's chamber.
T.K- Not especially, but when it comes to my girlfriend, I can be envious of anyone.
Chaos- That's not the T.K I knew.
T.K- What do you know about me?! We barely know each other!
Chaos- Ah... but I know you, more then you think. I know that your family separated when you were young. You always looked up to your brother Matt when you were little, eventually, you outgrew his brotherly protection. You and your mother moved into an apartment 3 years after the fight with Diaboromon. You and Davis had a little competition of who would save Kari when she was trapped in that machine city with Andromon. You bare unbearable marks of the powers of darkness, in fact, you hate it. I also know that you secretly hate Davis because he had more Hope in himself and the team than you ever did. Also, the fact that you were afraid of Kari to fall for him if he was still alive. Even when he was alive, you secretly hated him. You also have no feeling about him being dead, you prefer him to be dead. Am I right?
T.K's eyes widen.
T.K- How... no... how?!
Chaos- You can't hide anything from me, T.K. I can feel your envy over Davis. You thought you could be the leader because you've been a member of the Digi-Destined. But instead, it was Davis that Tai passed the torch to Davis because of his immeasurable courage.
T.K- Shut up! You don't know anything!
Chaos- Right... of course, I don't, that's the reason for your anger. Well, if you won't take my word serious to the truth of your own thoughts and feelings then I can see darkness being the reason of you and Kari separating.
T.K- Don't you dare talk to me about me and Kari, you can predict the future. Just hear me out...
Chaos is amused.
T.K- Stay away from Kari, you hear me? I don't care how strong you are! I will take you down myself if I have to.
Chaos- I can't honor your demanding request. Davis asked me to watch over everyone, which includes you and Kari.
T.K- I can give a rats ass of what Davis told you. He's dead and for what it's worth, he has no one but to blame himself for his death. But I'm warning you, stay away from Kari!
Chaos can feel something growing in T.K's heart.
Chaos- Interesting...
T.K- Are you listening to me?!
Chaos- Humph, you come into my chamber, threaten me with some childish words and start demanding orders? I told you that I had to honor someone's DYING wish. I would rather honor his wishes then listen to your childish cries.
T.K- Don't say I didn't warn you!
T.K storms out Chaos's chamber.
Chaos- Humph... you sensed it too, Seda?
Seda walks as he's invisible. He appears visible and stands next to Chaos.
Seda - Yeah, clearly he has something dark growing in his heart. Better to keep an eye on him.
Chaos- Right, and how are you feeling?
Seda- Fine, for now, the burn seemed to die down.
Chaos- Good, are you up for a little sparring match?
Seda- Couldn't hurt, Alphamon and Susanoomon recommended me to train with you with the powers you have.
Chaos- Excellent, come, I know where we can go.
Colosseum
Chaos and Seda face off each other.
Chaos- Seda, you're a good guy, but I can't go easy on you.
Seda- Of course not, wouldn't want you to.
Chaos turns into Chaosmon and readies himself.
Chaosmon- The Disciple of Alphamon, Vs the Chaos warrior, interesting match.
Seda- Knight Evolution activate!
Seda's sword forms into Luthismon's DigiArk
Chaosmon- Let's see how strong these Divine Data Knights are.
Seda- O, Luthiesmon, Light bringer and Levitator of the ancient Life, grant me your power!
Seda pulls back the bow and fires an arrow into the sky. A beam of light comes down on Seda.
Seda- Verto!
Seda turns into Luthiesmon. Luthiesmon readies himself with his bow.
Luthiesmon- Bring it on, Chaosmon!
They both stare at each other.
Dark Castle
Nelo sits on his throne. The door opens.
Raganmon- My Lord.
Nelo hears his servant's voice.
Nelo- You've returned.
Ragnamon walks through. He stops bows to Nelo.
Ragnamon- Mission was a success.
Nelo turns around.
Nelo- You found them?
Ragnamon rises and shows him two DigiCores. One is gold, the other is red.
Ragnamon- While I was there, I managed to find this one too.
Ragnamon shows his master another gold soul. Nelo scans it.
Nelo- Ah... CresGarurumon... excenllent.
Nelo takes CresGarurumon's DigiCore.
Nelo- Now that we have BilizGreymon and CresGarurumon, they will have their hand full, along with your new power.
Ragnamon- Yes... it's been so long since I had the rest of this power. Now that Durandarmon and Bryweludramon is mine again, I can finally become my true self.
Both souls go inside Ragnamon. An orb of fire and darkness envelops Ragnamon's body. The orb floats into the air. Nelo looks at the orb.
Nelo- His transformation will take a while. But that's alright, right now I need to get another Corruptus Digimon. I already have Pyredaemosmon, and now Artemismon and Ravagermon. But I still need more... so who can I create? But more importantly, who can I target next? Ken and Yolei are no longer of any use to me.
Nelo thinks. His vision shows the Digi-Destined and their enemies.
Nelo- Hm...
Nelo looks at Sora and Mimi
Nelo- Those two... what is in their hearts?
Nelo scans their hearts and sees their thoughts and feelings.
Nelo- Hm... best friends, different interests. Crest of Love and Crest of Sincerity... I need a Digimon that will cause them to hate one another... hm...
Nelo sees Matt with Sora.
Nelo- Oh yes, their little relationship... And Mimi... doesn't have a boy to cling to. However, her secret feelings for Tai might prove to be useful. In order for me to influence their emotions and turn them against one another... yes... I know what to do. Dahakamon!
Dahakmon appears behind Nelo and bows.
Dakahamon- You requested me, my Lord?
Nelo- Yes, bring me Ladydevimon's DigiCore.
Dahakamon- At once.
Nelo looks at Sora and Mimi.
Nelo- Let's see if you two can get out of this one or if you can kill each other for the misguides of your hearts.
Nelo holds a purple and black Corruptus Core.
Nelo- Not the Demon Lord of Lust, but someone that will prove a worthy cause for the mischief of one's love and their sincerity.
Nelo looks to his side where the statue of Davis is at.
Nelo- And as for you, I'm close to finding you and where you're hiding. It is only a matter of time, not even Chaosmon can keep you hidden forever. If I have to, I will use him to fight for me...
Nelo generates a silver and red Digi-Egg.
Nelo- He'll be drawn out sooner or later. Even if I have to use your own friend against you.
The egg glows and pumps with energy. It cracks, it shows a glowing red eye. A silver and red D3 appears under the Digi-Egg.
Nelo- If only they knew what my real plan was... they would coward in fear now. Haha.. HAHAHA!

What's up, guys? Saintlpha7 here! I was quick this time with the next chapter. Not so much as action as the last one, but a lot of interesting things in this chapter, the Legendary Crests, how they were made, how important Kari is and them finding out of how Davis was in danger and they didn't do anything. Now that last part there is more to it than that which will be revealed later on. Now they have four of the Legendary Crests and only have 9 more to go. The next two will be Sora and Mimi, the next chapter might take longer cause I have to plan it out perfectly to make the next chapter good and to make sense.
