I'm sorry I haven't updated in awhile I just got busy and wasn't able to update but I'll try not to take so long next time when I update

Chapter 3

Rose's pov

"Rose can we talk for a minute please?" Dimitri asked.

"Didn't I tell you to leave or did getting punched in the face effect your hearing? So now I will give you two options you can either walk out that door by yourself or I will make sure you leave. Which option would you like." I said coldly.

"Neither, I really need to talk to you. Please Roza just listen to me. Please just let me talk to you I only need a minute." He said

"Sorry that's not a option and don't call me Roza anymore. It is Guardian Hathaway to you now. Do you understand me? So now leave on your own or I will force you to leave. Your choice. I'm done listening to you. I don't want to hear anything that you have to say because it's not going to change anything." I spat staring at him coldly.

"Fine I'll leave you alone right now but you should know that I won't ever give up trying to get you back. I made a mistake leaving like I did." he said as he turned slowly and walked to the door.

"I really wish that you would because I don't want you anymore. Save yourself some time and heartache." I yelled as he opened the door. He froze when he heard what I had just turned around and walked back towards me.

"Is that what you really want?" He asked me so softly it almost came out as a whisper.

"That is what she just said. I also believe that she has asked you to leave so I think that you should be leaving now." Andre said coming up to stand next to me and wrapping his arms around my waist pulling me closer to him. I looked at Dimitri and saw a flash of anger and jealousy go across his face and in his eyes. But it disappeared as quickly as it appeared and he quickly replaced it with his guardian mask that he usually wore.

"I didn't ask you I asked Ro- Guardian Hathaway. I don't even know why you are even getting involved in this conversation in the first place." He said to Andre in a tone that I had never heard him use before.

"First of all, do not talk to him like that ever again. Second, yes that is what I really want. Also he was just trying to look out for me so that doesn't give you the right to talk to him that especially when you are the one that is in the wrong." I said coldly.

"Fine if that's what you really want I will leave." He said as he turned and walked out the door.

"Are you okay?" Andre asked me with a worried look on his face.

"Yeah I'm fine there is no need to worry about me." I said then turned around to kiss him.

"Why was he even talking to you like that? What is his problem?" Andre questioned.

" I don't really know but he said that there was something that he really wanted to tell me. But I didn't want to hear what he had to say because all it would do is bring up things from the past that should stay in the past. I just don't want anything to do with him or his problems anymore." I told him.

"What would he even need to tell that is so important anyway? Also, what excatly did happen between you guys?" He wondered.

"Well, he was my mentor. We became friends I guess then feelings progressed why past both student and mentor and friends. We fell in love with eachother which for obvious reasons was very taboo and no one knew not even Lissa knew until it was over. But then he just up and left without even a goodbye and that was it. He says that what he has to tell me will explain why he left like he did but I don't want to know anymore nor do I care." I reasoned.

"Are you really sure that you don't want to know? Don't you think it would help you to finally know why things happened the way they did?"

"No because it wouldn't change anything. Plus I've already moved on and made peace with everything that has happended. So, dredging up old memories isn't going do anything benefical."

"But it may be benefical." He tried to reason.

"Why do you want me to haer what he has to say so bad?"

"I don't really but I think that it would actually be good for to finally get some answers."

"I don't need any answers though. This is something that I have gotten over a long time ago and I don't want to go back the past Andre. It was terrible and painful and I got myself out of that state. Now I'm so incredibly happy and I don't want anything that would remind me of that time and bring back those painful memories. Not now not when I have my life together and I have so many great things. I have a great job, I'm super happy, and I am so madly in love with you."

"Well you are never going to lose me no matter what happens. But I think you should find out what he has to say. But know that you will never lose me or anyone you have in your life we all love you way too much for that to happen."

"I'll think about it okay. But that is the best I can give you right now" I told him.

"Okay. That's all I can hope for." He said then he told me that he loves me and we kissed.
