To clear the air, I do own Digimon. Out of all of the anime shows that involve Pokemon, Yugioh, Beyblade, and other shows, Digimon is my favorite by far. I grew up with it and seen every episode from season 1 through Data Squad I have not seen Xros Wars (yet) but, I have seen the newest Digimon Tri movie/episodes. So I decided to make a story for Digimon season 1 and, 2 put together. I'll try to make this very entertaining for everyone. If anyone has suggestions for this story, feel free to Private Message me at any time. I'm open to ideas. There will be something that involves the 13 Royal Knights and the Sovereigns and the evil god Zeedmillenniummon and of course some new characters and more. So please bear with me in this story.
***IMPORTANT INFORMATION***
What's up, guys? Saintalpha7 here! Let's get further into the story. In the last chapter I had mentioned that it would either be split or into two chapters, however, I might make this longer in part wise. Meaning, each character will have their own chapter to develop in the story. That being said, the next few chapters might be shorter when the Digi-Destined are getting their Crests but it will be about them. It was able to work with Yolei and Ken because of their circumstances. But now, it's about Mimi and Sora. This will also create a shorter time for an update each time so you guys can be informed quicker. It will also cause me to not mash everyone all into one chapter.
Now, let's get started into this chapter. No review this time, it takes too much time and no point in doing a review if I start updating more frequently. So, for the time being, no more reviewing from the last chapter(s) unless I haven't updated in a while. Also, from time to time, I will put up certain music that I listen to when I'm writing. It can go well with the reading, after all, good music is 50% is music for a show. Now, you don't have to listen to them, but the option is out. If you guys have any suggestions for music hunting, please let me know, never hurts to listen to something new.

Temple of Desires- Dining room
It's the next day, Chaos stands by the window. He is concern about Seda and Tai not returning to the Temple. He has his hands behind his back thinking.
Chaos- They've should've been back already... this doesn't seem good.
Matt- Sora! Please, listen to me!
Chaos turns his body and sees as Sora walks in the dining room angrily. She is still furious about what she witnessed. Matt chases her trying to get his words out.
Sora- I have nothing to say to you, Matt! It is bad enough that you cheated on me on Mimi of all people. But you're trying to tell me that I'm crazy and deny it! I saw you two with my own eyes! And you say that it was me?!
Matt- Sora, I know it sounds crazy, but I'm telling the truth here! When was the last time I ever lied to you?!
Sora- It doesn't matter! I saw the whole thing, whether you think otherwise or not. I saw you and her lusting one another.
Chaos turns his whole body towards them. He is annoyed by their meaningless argument.
Chaos- If you two are going to continue to argue in my temple, leave here and argue outside of this place.
Sora- Chaos, you just don't understand Matt and Mimi-
Chaos- I CAN give a rats ass of what happened. I already know what happened, and believe it or not, you have no right to say anything of the events that occurred last night. For you do not know the truth of the subject.
Sora- What, you think I'm crazy too?!
Chaos- I think you're too angry and blind to see the truth. You would be able to see it if your heart wasn't so filled with hate and jealousy.
Sora- Hate?! Jealousy?!
Chaos- That's right, and until you can figure out what I mean by that, you will continue to see nothing but the lies in which that clouds your eyes and mind. Now, best to drop the subject.
Sora and Matt are speechless. They have never seen Chaos so irritated before.
Chaos- Now sit down and eat.
Chaos turns away from them. They both look at each other, confused but they listen. They sat across from each other. Sora is still angry with Matt, and Matt is still confused about what happened last night. As they sit down, everyone else started to walk into the dining room.
Joe- Good morning everyone.
Matt- Hey, Joe...
Kati- Good morning, Sora.
Sora- Yeah... I guess...
Sora stares at Matt. Matt shakes his head and turns away from Sora.
Willis- You two OK?
Sora- Yeah... we're 'fine'
Willis can feel the deception from Sora's tone. He raises his eyebrow. Chaos turns his head to Willis.
Chaos- Willis, best not to get too curious. Trust me, it will keep you out of trouble.
Willis looks at Chaos. Chaos nods to Willis.
Willis- Will do.
Giselle walks in with only a long shirt on to cover herself.
Giselle- Good morning everyone!
Giselle is filled with joy, while the table is oddly quiet for the obvious reasons.
Giselle- Wow, I guess not everyone got a goodnight's sleep.
Matt- You could say that some of us had a rough night... or even perhaps a long week.
Giselle- Aw... poor baby.
Sora looks at Giselle and Matt.
Matt- Please don't call me that, don't want to get blamed for something that's not in my control...
Giselle looks at Sora.
Giselle- Oooh... I see what's going on...
Giselle licks her lips. Chaos looks at Giselle.
Chaos- Best not to get involved.
Giselle- You got it, handsome. Giselle passes Chaos. Chaos turns his head as she passes him.
Chaos- Hm...
Kari- Hey, have any of you guys seen Tai or Mimi? I didn't see them when I woke up.
Sora and Matt look, Kari.
Izzy- No, I haven't.
Ken- I haven't either.
Everyone shakes their head. Matt and Sora look at each other. Matt looks at Kari.
Matt- Not since last night, I don't see how Tai and move right away.
Yula walks into the dining room worried. Chaos looks at Yula.
Yula- I can't find my brother either.
Yolei- Even he's gone?
Blackagumon- Not even Agumon or Palmon could be located.
Blackgabumon- We search everywhere, nothing.
Everyone is getting concern, even Matt and Sora, even though their minds are somewhere else, they are still curious about the missing subjects.
Cody- Should we search for them?
Armadillomon- I think we should, it's not like them to leave during the night.
Kari looks at Chaos. He looks out the window, troubled about something. She thinks to herself.
Kari- Chaos?
Chaos turns his head to her.
Kari- You know something, don't you?
Everyone looks at Chaos.
Chaos- Sigh... I didn't want to say anything just yet, but Kari saw right through me.
Chaos turns to everyone.
Chaos- Tai and Seda, along with Agumon and Palmon went after Mimi. She was really hurt badly earlier on in the night, in more ways than one.
Matt- What do you mean, hurt badly?
Chaos- Well, I won't explain how physically how she got hurt because someone already knows that.
Chaos looks at Sora with his eyes. Sora can feel his reference is her.
Chaos- But, Mimi is depressed, she's been losing a lot of sleep and energy since she's been a Digi-Destined.
Izzy- What?!
Joe- Depressed?!
Matt- What do you mean, depressed? She lonely or something.
Chaos- Not quite, secretly she always hated being a member of the Digi-Destined. But she lived through it for so many years without telling a single soul. She could never tell of what's really on her mind. Her feelings are one thing, but feelings are nothing compared to the emotions of her true ambitions. Are you guys aware that she tried killing herself several times?
Everyone is stunned by his words.
Sora- What?! She tried to commit suicide?!
Yolei- No! None of us knew that!
Chaos- I didn't think so, out of everyone keeping things inside that involves her feelings and emotions, Mimi is known best of how to hide things. Though she might've complained a lot, however, that is a common thing for her... not as much complaining as Joe, but still. But serious matters, she never revealed her true ambitions to anyone, not even her own Digimon partner.
Sora- She has told me some dark things, but nothing like that.
Chaos- Yes... and yet one of her biggest dark secrets were revealed last night to a certain someone that wasn't supposed to know.
Sora gets annoyed by Chaos's wording. Now, she knows for certain of the argument of her and Mimi.
Izzy- So, how does this relate to our missing friends?
Chaos- Well, Mimi was so her that a dark force used her pain to control her. It made want to kill herself and be punished for these sins that she has not confessed to.
Everyone is again stunned.
Sora- What do you mean by dark force?
Chaos- A certain dark magic from an evil Digimon was hidden inside of her. It was just waiting for the right moment to grow and it certainly did. Last night, she felt dead, a burden, a waste of space and felt worthless in her own right. She was injured, she bled a lot from her head. For the safety of her, Tai and Seda along with Agumon and Palmon went out to get her before she could take her only life or for someone or something to kill her.
Yula- And they haven't returned?
Chaos- I regret to inform you, but that's right. They went out during the night. Only God knows if they are OK.
Matt- Then, what the hell are we waiting here for?! We should be out there finding them!
Chaos- Matt, I can feel the emotions of this subject, for you feel that you're part of the reason for this. But it's not, someone might think otherwise, but what you saw is the truth.
Matt is stunned with Chaos's words. Sora gets up and walks away. She is mad, knowing that everyone is taking Mimi's side. Gisell looks at Sora.
Yolei- Where are you going?
Sora- Out.
Matt looks at Chaos.
Matt- So, what is the reason behind it all?
Chaos- I wish I knew, but Seda is the only one with that information. He only has told me of last night's argument and said that an evil Digimon is responsible for everything.
Ken- Really? But how? We didn't encounter any evil Digimon.
Chaos- I wish I was more helpful on this, but again, Seda knows it. However, he is not present at this time.
Kari- Should we go out and find them?
Giselle- I don't think that's a good idea. What if this evil Digimon is waiting for us to move? If we move, it can probably create more problems.
Joe- She has a good point...
Izzy- Ditto on that...
Cody- No argument here...
Everyone else notices their agreement with Giselle.
Yolei- Okay?
Ken- Hm...
Ken notices that Chaos is staring at Giselle. Ken looks at Giselle and realizes that she doesn't have the amulet.
Chaos- If he is not here by nightfall, we search for them and we will kill anything that gets in our way.
Giselle- Fine...
Chaos walks out of the dining room. Giselle stares at Chaos as he leaves.
Giselle- Hmph...
Temple of Desires- Front doors, inside
Chaos walks out to the living room area. He stops.
Chaos- Let me guess, you're angry for 'taking' Mimi's side too?
Sora is behind Chaos, once again mad.
Sora- You have no idea what you're talking about. You weren't there last night. You didn't see what I've seen last night. She's probably out because she wants everyone to feel bad for her!
Chaos- So you say...
Sora- So I know!
Chaos turns to Sora.
Chaos- I hate to disappoint you, Sora, but part of this is your own fault.
Sora- How?! It's my fault because she's a slut?! She's the one who had sex with Matt! And Matt wants to deny it!
Chaos- Throughout the night she was with Tai the whole time. Perhaps what YOU saw in YOUR eyes wasn't the truth because YOU were blind by something. But I'll let you figure it out. Maybe next time you should tell someone's dark secret to another person.
Sora- She told one of my own dark secrets!
Chaos- Perhaps, but it was indirectly of what the dark secret was. Judging by your face, it has something to do with lust, Mimi's secret involved love. Two completely didn't things.
Sora- I can't believe you're taking her side!
Chaos- Well, believe it, and as I told you until you learn to put that hate aside, you'll be able to see the actual truth. Seeing isn't always something you should believe in. But I'll leave it at that. For the time being, do not make contact with Matt.
Sora- Are you really going to tell me not to see my boyfriend?
Chaos- Yes, for two reasons, for one, this is my place, what I say goes. And most importantly, the more you fight with him, the stronger your hate becomes. Once you reach a certain limit, you will be consumed by darkness. So, stay away from him until you can learn to control that anger and hate.
Sora- What is he comes to me?
Chaos- I made certain that he won't.
Chaos walks away from Sora. Sora is irritated and walks out of the room.
Chaos (Himself)- Seda, we need those answers, I only have a feeling, but I don't have all of the evidence. So, wherever you are please be safe.
Temple of Desires- Dining area
Matt sits there by himself feeling sorry for Mimi and feels guilty.
Matt- Shit... I need to do something... but what?
Gabumon- How about we go find them?
Matt- Sure, but we don't even know where to start. Besides, Chaos said we'll start searching for them if they don't come after nightfall. I just hope they are OK...
World of Darkness- Nether plains
In the World of Darkness is completely different from what Ken and Kari and others have seen. No, this realm is completely different. The realm is completely filled with will purple and black energy. Think of this way, an endless plain of the sky, but the sky is not blue, it is dark purple and black. All around the realm are filled ruins, floating platforms of stone everywhere. Seda drags Tai into a cave that's on one of the platforms. He sets him down near Mimi and the two Digimon partners. Seda breathes hard.
Seda- I can't believe that we are alive... that was a long fall from up there.
Seda remembers them falling for several minutes and hitting the ground. He looks at Tai and Mimi.
Seda- Glad that they are safe though... hm...
Seda walks out of the cave and views the world.
Seda- The World of Darkness... a place where people can call Hell in the Digital World. Now we just need to get out of here. Hm?
Seda sees dark energy gathering on the same platform. The energy is creating a dark monster. It is an adult human size being that is a black skeleton wearing a sword and shield. Seda takes out his sword. More of these dark monsters appear out of the ground with spears, bow, and arrows axes.
Seda- These must be the dark soldiers of this place... I have to keep them away from those four.
Seda readies his sword as his metal mask appears on his face.
Seda- Bring it on!
Seda runs at his foes. The enemies charge at Seda. Seda jumps high in the high in the air. He comes straight down and cut one of the monsters in half. One of the dark monsters lunges at him with the sword. Seda dodges the blade and comes up with his, killing that target. He jumps over an ax, lands and breaks the ax with his sword and stabs the monster in the chest. He kicks the monster off his sword. Two monster shoots him with two arrows which hit him in both arms. Seda growls, his sword glows brightly. He slides back twenty feet.
Seda- Celestial Blade!
His sword extends just like Susanoomon's attack. Seda swings his sword and slays them all. They all turn into dust.
Seda- Gah!
Seda falls to his knee. He pulls the arrows out of his arms.
Seda- That was more exhausting than I really thought... it's like this world is draining me. Hm?
Seda looks at the dark energy that came from the dark monsters. It forms into a sphere of darkness.
Seda- What?
A huge monster that is purple and black. The monster is a mix of a beast monster and stands like a human. It conjures a huge blade. It stares at Seda, walking towards him.
Seda- What are you?!
The monster only roars at Seda. Seda readies himself. It runs at Seda and smacks him with its tail. Seda slides across the ground and nearly falls off the platform. He grabs on the ledge.
Seda- Oh shit!
Seda looks down and sees an endless pit of darkness. Seda pulls himself up. The monster grabs him with his big hand and throws him to the center of the platform. He rolls and slides across it.
Seda- Gah! Dammit!
Seda gets up. The monster jumps into the air and comes down with its big sword. Seda rolls out the way. Seda jumps at the monster and cuts it in the eye. It roars with pain. Seda lands on his feet and cuts its leg. It falls to its knees. Seda sees an eye on the center of its chest. Seda twirls his sword and drives it into the eye. The monster shouts with intense pain. It backs up but the ledge. Seda points his hand at the monster.
Seda- Dark Prominence!
Seda fires at the monster. It falls off the platform. Seda goes to the edge and looks down. The monster had been ripped into pieces.
Seda- It seems that this World has more advanced monsters... that monster had to above a Mega level Digimon. Hm?
Seda turns around. The center of the platform appears with a teleporter. Seda is curious. He walks to it and steps on it. He is teleported to another platform. Seda looks up and notices that it is higher and sees a very small spark of light.
Seda- I see now... the more monsters we clear, the higher we can get. Hm?
Seda sees the soldier monsters again.
Seda- Shit... more of them. I have to give them some time. So, it looks like I'm on my own for now.
World of Darkness- Cave
Tai's eye twitches. He opens his eyes.
Tai- Ugh... what happened? Oh, I remember.
Tai remembers them falling.
Tai- We fell from the surface of the Digital World... Oh! Mimi!
Tai turns his head. She sits right next to him, out cold.
Tai- You're safe, thank God. Hm?
Tai notices that Agumon and Palmon are here but Seda is not.
Tai- Where did he go?
Tai gets up. He loses his balance and falls to his knee.
Tai- Gah... that fall really did a number on me.
Tai remembers as he holds onto Mimi, he's the one who suffered from the fall, not Mimi. He puts his hand on his back and slowly stands.
Tai- Great, back problems...
Tai walks out of the cave.
Tai- Gah! Where the hell are we?!
Tai sees the World of Darkness.
Tai- What... is this place?
Tai looks up. He sees more platforms as they go up.
Tai- I don't think we are in the Digital World anymore... perhaps a dark world... wait, this must be that World of Darkness that Chaos mentioned. If so, where is Seda at? Hm?
Tai notices on one of the platforms that are above, a monster is thrown off the platform with Laveryenmon.
Tai- He's up there! Hey! Laveryenmon!
Laveryenmon hears Tai's voice. He looks down.
Laveryenmon- Finally! He's awake! Oh shit!
Two huge monsters jump at Laveryenmon. Laveryenmon hovers into the air. His spear charges in red.
Laveryenmon- Heaven's Serge!
Laveryenmon throws the spear to the ground. It destroys all of the monsters on that platform. Laveryenmon flies all the way down. He turns back to Seda. Seda loses his energy and crashes to the ground and slides to the center of the platform were Tai is at.
Tai- Seda!
Tai runs to Seda. He helps him up.
Tai- Hey, are you alright?
Seda breathes hard. He is cut up all over his body.
Seda- Not quite... this world is draining... I've been fighting these monsters for hours.
Tai- Well, come on, need to get you to safety.
Tai walks him to the cave. Seda stands up by himself.
Seda- No... listen, I'm going to be alright, we need to get out of here. If we stay here anymore longer, this realm will drain us completely.
Tai- But, I can't have you do all of the fighting!
Seda- Perhaps not... but these monsters here are not like other Digimon. They are all above Mega Level Digimon. It's hard to get rid of them... besides, you have another job to do and that's to watch over Mimi. She's not in the best shape of her life right now. And to be honest, she could really use you right now.
Tai- What do you mean?
Seda- When you four were out, I woke up after we fell. It was quiet, I heard monsters all around us. I carried and/or dragged you guys into that cave. When I picked up Mimi, she was calling out to you.
Flashback
Seda kneels to Mimi and picks her up. He notices the gash on her head. He carries her to the cave and sets her down. He turns away from her to get Tai.
Mimi- Tai... don't go...
Seda turns around. Mimi is taking in her sleep. She starts to cry.
Mimi- Please... I need you... where are you? Tai, please don't leave me.
Seda- Hm... he's that important to her.
Seda faces forward.
Seda- Tai doesn't know how blessed he is to have someone love and care for him uncontrollably.
End of Flashback
Tai is speechless with Seda's small story.
Seda- If you leave her and she wakes up, there is no telling what could happen. Just like what Chaos and I discovered, Mimi is depressed.
Tai- Really?
Seda- Yes, she buried her true feelings and emotions deep inside of her. We also figured out that she always hated being apart of the Digi-Destined. She never wanted to go through such a task. For years, she's been depressed ever since... and now...
Seda looks at Mimi.
Seda- It's finally taking a toll on her in more ways than one. But I discovered that there are only two reasons why she kept going on.
Tai- What are they?
Seda- She met Palmon, her first best friend that's from another world.
Tai- Understand that, and the second reason?
Seda- You.
Tai- Me?!
Seda- Aye, that's right. It's because of you that she still has her sweet self. When you guys met up with each other during your reunion, she knew that she really cared for you. More then what Sora or anyone else could ever have.
Tai- ...Mimi...
Seda- That's why I'm asking you to watch her. When I've cleared everything, I will come to get you guys.
Tai- But, you can't handle this on your own.
Seda- Being a leader requires having trust in your team. And to understand what cards and the man he or she can utilize. And to be there for someone that needs them. Right now, Mimi is in a state of mind where she can end her own life. You are standing here, you watch over her while the third person goes out and fight to protect his team. You and I have to work as a team, as leaders, we have to make do of what we have. Mimi stayed by your side when you were hurt, now it's your turn. I may be drained, but I can manged. I wouldn't be going if I didn't think I could do it. So, I'm asking you as a friend and like a brother, stay here to watch her.
Tai hesitating. Both of his Crest shine, he takes them out.
Tai- Courage... Leadership...
Seda- I know you want to help me, but even both of your Crests are telling you to stay. Have courage in yourself to have courage in me. Use your Leadership to understand what we are dealing with and to be smart about it.
Tai- ...Okay... I'll stay. But, once she wakes up and is ready, we are going to find you.
Seda- If that is what you wish than fine. Watch her well, make sure she knows that his worth it and not worth losing. I left my bag with you so you can patch her gash. It's a miracle that she hasn't lost her life with a wound being wide open.
Tai- Yeah... I guess we have our own job.
Seda- Yes, now take shelter.
Tai nods and steps back as Seda looks up. He grows his dragon wings and flies all the way back up. Tai watches as he flies. He takes a deep breath and turns to Mimi.
Seda (Voiceover)- If you leave her and she wakes up, there is no telling what could happen. Just like what Chaos and I discovered, Mimi is depressed... Tai walks into the cave keeping his eyes on Mimi. He looks down on her as she sleeps.
Tai- Mimi... hm?
Tai notices that Mimi is crying.
Mimi- Tai... where did you go? Please, come back, please!
Tai kneels down and picks her up and sits down, having her use him to rest on instead of the cold hard ground. Tai holds on to Mimi. Mimi rests her head on Tai. Tai reaches for Seda's bag and took out some cleaning supplies. Tai cleans her gash.
Tai- It's a good thing I learned a lot from Joe.
As Tai is taking care of Mimi, Mimi shakes. Tai takes off his jacket and covers her up.
Tai- I'm not leaving you, Mimi.
Tai kisses her on the forehead.
Mimi's dream
Mimi walks through the town of Odaiba. The street is completely empty. Much like a ghost town. Mimi looks around her surroundings and doesn't see a single soul.
Mimi- Hello?! Is anyone out there?!
Mimi can only hear the sound of her echo.
Mimi- Where is everyone? Palmon?! Matt?! Izzy?! Joe?! Huh?
Mimi notices a person is watching her from a distance, a person in a black cloak.
Mimi- Hello? Sir?
The person turns his body away from her and runs.
Mimi- Hey! Wait!
She chases after him, the moment she takes a step she appears inside of the Digital World.
Mimi- Huh?! What?! I was just in Odaiba! Now, I'm back here!
Sora- Slut!
Mimi- Huh?
Mimi turns around. She sees Sora fighting with her past self in the recovery room. Mimi is silent. Sora smacks Mimi, causing her to hit her head.
Sora- Our friendship is over, I never hated someone this much before! Stay away from me and Matt!
Sora walks away.
Mimi- How could she think that I did that to Matt?
Nirumon- It is time for you to pay, Mimi!
Mimi- Huh?!
Chains come out of the ground and wrap her arm.
Mimi- What's going on?! AH!
Mimi is pulled to the ground. Nirumon comes out of the ground.
Nirumon- It is time for you to die!
Mimi- No! I'm not ready yet! I was wrong!
Nirumon- It is too late for you! You are no longer wanted or needed by anyone! Because of your sins, you will watch as your friends and everyone else that you've ever met disappear! And you will never see them again!
Mimi- I just need one more chance!
Nirumon- Death waits for no one! Especially not for the damned!
Mimi screams as she tries to break out.
Mimi- Someone! Please help me! Huh?!
Mimi sees Tai staring at her.
Mimi- Tai! Please help!
Tai shakes his head and vanishes.
Mimi- Tai! No please, don't leave me! I need you! Where did you go! Tai, please come back!
Mimi starts to cry.
Mimi- Tai... please, don't go... I can't go on without you...
A teardrop falls. A hand goes to her face and wipes the tears. She opens her eyes and looks forward. Tai is in her sights, he smiles at her.
Mimi- Tai! Where did you go?!
Tai- I never left your side, Mimi. But you are allowing your sorrow to take over your mind.
Mimi- Tai... I don't know what to do. Every time I try to forget everything it comes back. I'm afraid... I'm weak...
Tai- Being afraid is not a sign of weakness, Mimi. Being afraid is a way of showing how strong you are.
Mimi- Huh? What do you mean?
Tai- Mimi, it's time to wake up...
Tai floats into the Mimi stands up, holding up her arm out trying to reach for Tai.
Mimi- No Tai! Please don't go! Huh?!
As Tai floats into the sky, Deathdramon comes Tai.
Mimi- Tai! Watch out!
Tai smiles at Mimi.
Tai- You need to drive your fear away, you know what to do.
Mimi- No! No, I don't, please tell me! Huh?!

Chaos notices another symbol appearing and vanishing rapidly.
Chaos- She's struggling... come on, Mimi, fight your fear.
World of Darkness- Cave
Mimi shakes again, she cries.
Tai- Mimi, what's wrong?! Come on, wake up!
Mimi- Tai, please don't leave me!
Tai- I haven't, I've been here! Wake up!
Tai holds on to Mimi, comforting her as she faces her nightmares.
Tai- Mimi, I know you can hear me. Listen to me, I'm not going to leave you, OK? I'm going to be here for you always. I've never left you, so, please... wake up, wake up!
Mimi's Dream
Mimi sits there crying.
Mimi- He's gone... and I was too weak to save him! Because of me being afraid... he's gone!
As she cries, a beam of light hits the ground. She looks forward, Chaos comes through the light.
Chaos- Mimi, come on, we need you.
Mimi- Chaos?! I'm sorry... but no one needs me. I'm too weak to fight on. I couldn't save Tai and I can't even save myself.
Chaos- Not true, he is is not dead.
Mimi- But I saw him get killed! By the monster!
Chaos- You are having a nightmare. An evil Digimon is influencing your mind to think of your bad thoughts, feelings, and emotions. She's targeting you mentally, she's using your fears and being manipulative to you. She wants you to fall, she wants you to fall by your own actions.
Mimi- What can... I do?! Please, tell me!
Chaos- You can start by facing those fears and not believing whatever this Digimon is telling you. You need to wake up.
The light gets wider. It goes pass Mimi. She covers her face. The light reveals her shadow as a demon is hiding in it. Mimi turns around to see the shadow.
Mimi- What is that?!
Chaos- That's the source of your sorrow, Mehiramon!
Mehiramon comes out of the ground and shows her as her true self. She is a purple fallen angel Digimon with white hair. She is extremely revealing in terms of her upper body. She has blue eyes, the bottom is like leader tiger stripes leggings and very short shorts. Her heels that she wears have claws on them. She bares horns on her head and wings on her back. Mehiramon stares at Chaos and Mimi.
Mehiramon- Well done, Chaos, you've figured it out. But you're too late to save, Mimi now.
Mehiramon vanishes.
Chaos- Mimi! Come on!
Mimi turns around and runs to Chaos. Chaos and Mimi vanishes which in the light.
World of Darkness- Cave
Tai worries for Mimi. A spark fo light appears above them. Tai looks up.
Tai- What is that?
The spark splits into two. One of them goes inside Mimi. And the other one forms into Chaos.
Tai- Chaos?!
Chaos- It looks like it worked.
Tai- Huh? What worked?
Chaos- Look.
Tai looks at Mimi. Her body highlights in white. Tai notices darkness is coming out of her body.
Tai- Darkness?!
The darkness is fully out. Chaos generates the Symbol of Light and Sincerity.
Chaos- Darkness of Mehiramon, be gone!
Both symbols create light and vaporize the darkness. Chaos looks a Tai.
Chaos- Now, call out to her.
Tai- Okay... Mimi, wake up, please!
Tai holds onto Mimi's hand.
Tai- Mimi, please wake up, I need you!
Mimi's twitches her eyes. She slowly opens them and sees Tai in her sights.
Mimi- Tai? Tai?!
Tai smiles at Mimi.
Tai- You're awake! Finally!
Mimi is speechless for seeing Tai. After she witnessed him dying her dream, it felt so real. She moves her hand to Tai's face and touches his cheek.
Mimi- This... this isn't a dream is it?
Tai- Not unless we're both dreaming... this is real, Mimi.
Mimi cries big as she will awake from her nightmare.
Mimi- Tai!
Mimi shoots up and hugs Tai tightly. She cries on his shoulders.
Mimi- I... I thought I lost you! I had the most terrifying nightmare... I saw you get killed... It felt as if the nightmare nearly killed me!
Tai- It's OK now, you're safe and I'm still here. I can't tell you how happy I am to see you alive.
Mimi pulls away from Tai and listens to his words.
Tai- I thought I lost you as well. When you went to Nirumon and now this.
Mimi- You were really worried about me, were you?
Tai- More then you know...
Tai looks at Chaos.
Tai- Thank you, Chaos.
Mimi looks at Chaos as well.
Mimi- Yeah, thank you, Chaos.
Chaos- You should be thanking Tai, not me. It was Tai's Desires that allowed me to connect with you in your mind. My D3 went off and show a light that is Courage. A part of courage and leadership is seeking for help. And that's what Tai did.
Mimi- Really? It that true, Tai?
Tai- Well, yeah... I wanted you to wake up. And I guess it was my desire to wake you up.
Mimi- Tai... thank you, for being here for me and staying by my side. You're really sweet, you know that?
Tai blushes and scratches his head.
Tai- Eh... I guess I am.
Chaos nods. He slowly is disappearing. Tai and Mimi look at him.
Chaos- I leave the rest to you two, go help Seda out. We'll be waiting for your return to the temple.
Tai- You can count on us, Chaos.
Mimi- We'll see you all soon.
Chaos nods just before he vanishes. Mimi looks at Tai again.
Mimi- Tai, I can't tell you how much it means to me that yous stayed behind...
Tai holds on to her hand, she blushes. Their hands are finger locked.
Tai- You stayed behind and by myself when no else did. I couldn't leave you behind.
Mimi- So, I guess we are even?
Tai- I wasn't doing this to return the favor, you cared and nursed me back to my normal self. Now, I want to do the same. Seda told me of what hidden feelings and emotions you kept from everyone. You were depressed, not wanting to be a member of the Digi-Destined. I know you've always hated being one.
Mimi puts her head down.
Mimi- I'm sorry... I never wanted this to happen... or to reveal it to anyone.
Tai pats her on the head.
Tai- No, it's OK. I get your reasoning, it is a scary thing. We have to risk our lives for others. Lately, we've been closing ti close with Nelo and his army. He is a strong enemy. Even back then, it was a close one. To be honest with you, and no one else knows this, but ever since Agumon turned into Skullgreymon, I always feared that it might happen again... or that we may have to face him again. I always hated myself for it.
Tai pats Agumon on the head.
Tai- Ever since then, I always feared the thought of losing him... and what would've happened if it was me that died and not Davis.
Mimi- I never knew you felt that way. And you kept it for so long?
Tai- Yes... but what I realized was that I can't help or fix what fate has already done. I can't change it, I can only learn from my mistakes and understand how and why things are the way they are. Sometimes I wish I was never apart of the Digi-Destined either. After everything we've seen, it is a scary thought.
Mimi- So, you're afraid to? Afraid of dying?
Tai- I am... even though I have the Crest of Courage, it doesn't eliminate the fear of death. But it also encourages me to face the fear of death without any regrets.
Mimi- Sigh... I wish I can be as strong as you... It is hard for me to face my fears. I've kept everything inside and I thought it was selfish of me to feel what I feeling.
Tai- If that's how you feel, then that's how you feel. No one can tell you how you should feel about your feelings and emotions. But, whatever you choose how you should feel, that's what matters. If you're willing to face your fears than you will be strong and evolve. But if you choose not to face them and drown in your sorrow and fears, they will come true.
Mimi- But how can I face them? I can't face them alone.
Tai- You're not alone, Mimi. You have Palmon, Agumon and myself. You also have Chaos and Seda and even Yula to back you up. And I'm sure Yolei and Davis would back you too.

Tai- I know so, but the hard part is you taking the first step. You have to give the feeling, thought, and emotion of self-sacrifice to face that fear. Knowing that it might cost you your life, you took that step to face it. Once you take that first step, it will be easy to face it.
Mimi grips Tai's hand tight and starts to weep. Tai only smiles, but he knows that Mimi is scared out of her mind. Tai pulls her in to hug her tightly.
Tai- It's alright, Mimi.
Mimi- I am scared... scared of losing myself, losing who I care about the most, scared of this feeling... but I know I have to face it now. But I don't know if I'm strong enough.
Tai rubs her back.
Tai- Of course, you are. Being strong is not just being all-powerful and handling things on your own. It takes more strength and might to protect someone or to ask for help then not seeking help and running away.
Mimi pulls away from Tai. Tai wipes her tears again. Tai rubs her hand with his thumb.
Tai- You can do it, I know you can.
Mimi smiles but still cries.
Mimi- Thank you, Tai... for everything...
They stare at each other, slowly they come closer to each other. Their lips are inches away from each other, and just before their moment is in their grasp, the ground starts to shake. They stop and feel the vibration.
Tai- That kiss is going have to wait, come on.
Tai and Mimi stand up and goes out of the cave.
Mimi- What is going?
Tai looks up. He sees a huge platform.
Tai- That is a huge platform! Seda needs our help!
Mimi- He's all the way of there?!
Tai- Yes, come on, we have to wake up Agumon and Palmon.
They both run back into the cave.
World of Darkness- Final platform
Laveryenmon slides his feet across the ground with his spear in his hands. He looks forward and sees a plethora of big monsters. One of them runs at Laveryenmon and collides his big sword with Laveryenmon's spear. Laveryenmon blocks it and holds it back. Another monster comes from the side and strikes Laveryenmon into the side.
Laveryenmon- AHHH!... I'm outnumbered!
A third monster jumps in in the air with a huge mallet and slams it onto Laveryenmon. Laveryenmon has been pushed away from the monsters and slides across the ground.
Laveryenmon- Gah! dammit to hell!
The monsters come closer to Laveryenmon. Laveryenmon stands up ready to fight again.
Laveryenmon- We're... almost done here, I just need to kill these monsters! I'm running out of power.
Wargreymon- Terra Force!
Laveryenmon hears Wargreymon's attack. The attack came from behind and destroyed the three monsters that were come close to him. He turns around to see Tai and Mimi along with Lillymon and Wargreymon.
Laveryenmon- It's about time you two showed up.
Tai- Sorry, but we had to get her to wake up.
Laveryenmon- That's fine. Listen, we're almost home free, we beat these freaks here, we are out of here.
Tai- Alright, let's do it. Ready, Mimi?
Mimi- Yes, let's get out of here!
Wargreymon- Tai, you and Mimi stay back, these monsters here are not like other Digimon.
Lillymon- Wargreymon is right, something about them is different from any other Digimon.
Laveryenmon- Right, but they can be destroyed like any other Digimon. But still, stay back you two.
They both nod.
Laveryenmon- I have an idea to get right of them.
Laveryenmon vanishes as Lutheismon appears.
Lutheismon- Lillymon, I need you to snare them into one area.
Lillymon- You got it, Wargreymon, cover me!
Wargreymon- You got it!
They both fly in the air. Lutheismon's arrow is charging with energy. Lillymon generates a flower rope and wraps all of the enemies into one huge net.
Lillymon- I got them!
Lutheismon- Perfect! Wargreymon, use your Terra Force!
Wargreymon- Consider it done! Terra Force!
Lutheismon points his bow.
Lutheismon- Arrow of Rain!
Lutheismon fires his arrow into the air. It vanishes and creates a huge circle over the monsters.
Lutheismon- Wargreymon, aim for the circle!
Wargreymon throws it into the circle. All of the monsters lookup. The circle opens like a gate.
Lutheismon- Here is why it's called 'Arrow of Rain!'
A plethora of Terra Force's comes out of the circle and each hitting the monsters. Slowly, each monster is being destroyed, turned into dust and data.
Tai- Damn... I never knew he could do that.
Mimi- Me neither...
All of the monsters have been vanquished. Lutheismon glows brightly. It turns back to Seda. Seda plants his sword into the ground and on to his knee.
Tai- Seda!
Tai and Mimi run to Seda. Wargreymon and Lillymon fly to him.
Tai- You alright, buddy?
Seda- Yes... just tired. I told you I can manage.
Tai- Yes, but look at you, you're a rack.
Seda- Yes well, someone had to fight and someone had to stay behind. How are you feeling, Mimi?
Mimi- I'm better than before. I'm just glad you're OK.
Seda- It takes more than those monsters to kill me.
Tai- Well, the important thing is that everyone is safe. Now let's get out of here.
Seda stands up. He feels a presence in the area, and so does the Digimon.
Seda- Something is here!
Everyone looks at the center of the platform and sees Mehiramon. (Music: When I was typing this part, I was listening to 43-Seymour's Theme-FFX OST and 55-Seymour's Ambition. Listen to it if you like during this part.)
Seda- Gr... Mehiramon, it's her!
Tai- Mehiramon? Who's that?
Mimi- The one who's responsible for messing with my mind! Who used my fears and weaknesses against me!
Mehiramon only giggles and smiles.
Mehiramon- Oh, I can't take all of the credit, after all, they are all of your feelings and emotions. I just brought them out to make things more fun and it certainly was fun. I enjoyed the argument of you and Sora... Poor and naive Sora.
Mimi- What do you mean?
Seda- It was hurt the manipulate her appearances to be you and Sora. She was the one who seduced Matt.
Mimi- That's nuts! How can she do that?! Does a Digimon have that kind of power? To be exactly like a human?!
Seda- Most Digimon can't but we are not dealing with any other Digimon. This is a Corruptus Digimon. She planned everything from the very beginning, from the moment you guys found Giselle.

Seda- Partly right, but there is something you're missing.

From behind Mehiramon, Giselle comes out of Mehiramon's shadow. Tai and Mimi are stunned.

Giselle- Oh, he is... in fact, Deltamon, Ladydevimon, and Mephistomon are one and the same as Mehiramon. Even those Dread Reaper Digimon. All of them from Mehiramon and my power.

Giselle- Haha! Guilty as charged! But all could not be possible with you and Sora. With you two, Mehiramon would be able to turn into you or Sora. She needed something that was a personal belonging of yours to turn into you, as well as to see your weaknesses and fears.
Mimi- But, I never gave her a personal belonging!
Giselle- Oh, but you did to me, and Mehiramon is a part of me.

Mimi- Our Digivices!
Giselle- Exactly, and it was easy to trick you Digi-Destined! From the moment I was brought back by Nelo, he told me of what was to be done.

Giselle- Yes, he brought me back to life along with my Digimon partner, told us of what his plan was and targeting you and Sora was just that. He wanted you two to fight one another, using your fears, feelings, thoughts, emotions, dark secrets and the opposites of your Crests to destroy your own foundation of what makes you two the people you are today. And you know what? I think it worked for the most part.
Mimi- How... could you do such a thing?!
Giselle- Nelo needs you all to perish. He targets his prey one by one, not in a group. It would make it easier to target the one that is most vulnerable, and you were the perfect candidate. He knew of your feelings for Tai and the jealousy that you had with Matt and Sora. But he knew that you wouldn't do anything to hurt Sora. So, that's where I came in, I used this dark amulet that I hid in your Digivice as well as Sora's to enhance the negative traits that were in both of your minds. This amulet is a gateway to this World, and you walked right into our grip.
Mimi- How could you... you made everything a living hell for me! That nightmare, those feelings, forcing the negative to come to life and take over?!
Giselle- It hurts, doesn't it... however, it was a waste of effort because of someone figuring everything out. I tried to seduce Seda myself... but he was too strong.

Giselle- I know exactly what I've done, Tai. That's why I did it! And believe me, it was funny, me and Mehiramon back together to cause pain and suffering to the goodness of the world. Best of all, I had a tasty treat from Matt and Sora. I can still taste them right now.
Giselle licks her lips.
Tai- You're a sick person, and to think we thought you were the nice and sweet girl! But it was all for show!
Giselle- And you no one to blame but yourself. You Digi-Destined are too trustworthy, once you see a person in danger, you rush in to save them. But you never stop to think of what this person is truly capable of before it is too late. And that's exactly what happened. Didn't anyone tell you that there or evil Digi-Destined?
Tai and Mimi are stunned by her words. Wargreymon and Lillymon are speechless.
Wargreymon- Are you saying that?!
Giselle- That's right, I'm one of the evil Digi-Destined members.
Tai- No way... I never knew you guys existed! We were told of you guys, but I didn't think it was true!
Giselle- Well, now you know for certain that it is true.
Seda- Nelo brought her back from the dead. She's not just an evil Digi-Destined member. She's is one of the First Evil Digi-Destined that helped the God of Darkness.
Tai- From all of those years?!
Giselle- Damn, you've figured it out, Seda. I can see why you're so important to Nelo. You figured out the rest of the puzzle... yes, I am indeed one of the members of the First Evil Digi-Destined and it should come to no surprise that I too have a Dark Crest.
Giselle shows them the Crest. It is a Violet color with the Symbol of Lust on it. (Music: Devil May Cry 5 OST - Urizen Battle 1 (Prologue)
Tai- Hey is that one the Dark Crest Chaos told us about?
Seda- No... though he did mention a Dark Crest, however, each of his Digi-Destined was armed with their own Crest. That one is the Crest of Manipulation, also known as the Crest of Lust. She's not just a person we should dread lightly, she knows a lot for her rebirthed age.
Giselle- That's right, and I don't plan on letting you all go free! I will end your meaningless lives with my pet! Deathdramon, come forth!
Giselle takes out her black Digivice. It fires a beam of darkness into the sky. It opens a portal. Everyone looks up.
Giselle- For the God of Darkness, I hereby do this deed for him! Deathdramon, as your master, I order you kill these five!
A dragon roar is heard.
Seda- It's coming!
The dragon rushes out of the portal and lands on the ground in front of Tai and the others. It roars at them all. Seda looks at Giselle. She turns her body away from everyone but uses her head to face them.
Giselle- And this time, there will be no escape from him again.
A portal opens.
Seda- Wait!
Deathdramon stops Seda with his face as it roars at him. Giselle and Mehriamon walk through the portal. It vanishes. Mimi backs up. She shakes hard.
Mimi- How do we stop this thing?!
Seda- We have to stop it regardless. That monster is on our way to the Digital World.
Wargreymon- Seda, I can feel an old and yet powerful force in this enemy.
Seda- You're right, this Digimon has his own level classification, this is a Super-Ultimate level Digimon!
Tai- Super-Ultimate?! How are we going to beat that?!
Seda- I don't know... but we have no choice, we either fight, or we get killed!
Seda readies his sword. He notices himself shaking.
Seda- But we have to end this quick, I'm losing power.
Wargreymon and Lillymon stand next to Seda.
Wargreymon- We got you, Seda.
Lillymon- Let's slay this dragon!
Tai- Be careful you guys.
Seda nods. Deathdramon shows his teeth. Seda turns into Laveryenmon and flies at Deathdramon. Deathdramon roars loudly, a wave of Darkness to stun Laveryenmon.
Laveyenmon- What?! I can't move!
Deathdramon rams its head to Laveryenmon causing him to back off. Wargreymon flies at Deathdramon.
Wargreymon- Great Tornado!
Wargreymon spins and dives to Deathdramon. Deathdramon flaps its wings and uses the winds and keep Wargreymon still. Deathdramon uses his claws to smack Wargreymon to the ground.
Tai- Wargreymon!
Lillymon- Flower Wreath!
Lillymon wraps the Deathdramon in the ring of flowers. The flowers only die and turned into dust. It smacks Lillymon with its wing.
Mimi- Lillymon, no!
Laveryenmon rushes and tackles Deathdramon. Deathdramon keeps steady to the ground.
Laveryenmon- This is bad! I'm losing my strength!
Deathdramon opens his mouth. Laveryenmon sees Deathdramon's attack coming.
Deathdramon- Inferno of the World of Darkness!
Laveryenmon- AH!
Laveryenmon gets hit by the attack.
Laveryenmon- AHHHHHHHHHHH!
Tai and Mimi- Laveryenmon!
Laveryenmon hits the ground and slides across it. he reverts back into Seda. Seda rolls to the ground and lands on his stomach.
Seda- Gah!
Deathdramon- And then, there were only two!
Tai- Seda!
Tai and Mimi help Seda up.
Tai- Hey, hang in there, Seda!
Seda coughs out blood.
Seda- It is up to you two now... GR! I don't have the strength to fight. Those monsters and this world is draining me.
Mimi- You expect us to fight that thing?!
Seda- You have to... If you wish to write the wrongs of Giselle and Mehiramon, you're going have to fight. That Digimon is the only thing that is standing in our way to escape from this world.
Tai- But, we can't do it without you!
Seda- Yes, you can, don't start doubting yourself now, Tai. You two need to have fate in one another and courage for one another. You both need to need to be sincere with each other. Show that monster no fear.
Tai- ... Alright, we'll take that thing down.
Mimi- Yeah... he's right, we have to fight it.
Seda- That a girl... not go get him!
They both nod and stand with each other.
Tai- You ready?
Mimi shakes. She remembers her nightmare of when Deathdramon kills Tai.
Mimi- Yeah... don't worry, I won't let that thing take you away from me.
Tai smile holds her by the chin.
Tai- You and I still have something we need to do. Once we are done here, and the bitch is vanquished.
Mimi has a tear run through her face and smiles.
Mimi- OK... I'll be waiting...
Tai nods at her. They both stare at Deathdramon. It growls at them both.
Deathdramon- Ready to die, morals?!
Wargreymon and Lillymon stand in front of their partners.
Wargreymon- It is you that will die!
Lillymon- You will get past us!
Deathdramon- Than, allow me to correct you, you pitiful flower Digimon! Evil Rain!
Deathdramon roars and spreads his wings. Six small portals appear. Black crystals come out of them and go straight to everyone. Wargreymon takes his Brave Shield to block the crystals. Each crystal is breaking the shield.
Wargreymon- Move! I can't hold on for much longer!
Tai grabs Mimi by the hand and pulls her away. Lillymon picks up Seda from the ground and flies. Wargreymon jumps to the side and drops his shield.
Wargreymon- Terra Force!
Wargreymon throws the attack at Deathdramon. It blocks with its wing and reflects it back to Wargreymon. Wargreymon jumps over it and runs at Deathdramon with his Dramon killers. Deathdramon flies into the air dodging Wargreymon. It flies through the area.
Deathdramon- Darkling Spiral Slash!
Deathdramon circles around everyone and appears behind Wargreymon and Lillymon. He slashes them with great speed. Both Digimon fall to the ground. It flies straight into the air and looks down.
Deathdramon- Time to end this! Corruptus Soul Flare!
Fire and darkness are absorbed into Deathdramon. Its whole body is energy and fire. He goes straight down to the platform. Wargreymon gets up, he shakes, he runs and flies straight up to Deathdramon with his Dramon killers.
Wargreymon- Great Tornado!
Wargreymon spins fast and goes straight up to Deathdramon.
Tai- Wargreymon! No!
Seda- He's risking it!
Wargreymon and Deathdramon collided together and creates a huge explosion. The impact makes the platform crack and breaks into smaller pieces. Tai and Mimi are separated from Seda.
Tai- Seda, no!
Seda stands up.
Seda- This battle is getting too much!
The smoke clears. Wargreymon falls out of the sky. Tai and Mimi see Wargreymon in ruin.
Tai- Wargreymon! No!
Mimi- He's... he in ruin!
Wargreymon's Dramon killers fall to the ground. His whole armor is destroyed and his brave shield is no longer whole. Wargreymon lands hard on the ground.
Tai- No! Wargreymon!
Tai hops from platform to platform.
Mimi- No, Tai! Wait!
Seda- What are you doing?!
Tai- I'm not losing him!
Tai continues to jump from platform to platform. Wargreymon struggles to moves.
Wargreymon- Ugh... Tai, stay away!
Tai- Oh fuck that! I'm not scared of this ancient dragon! You hear me you piece of shit?!
Tai takes a stone from the platform and throws it at Deathdramon. The stone turns to ash. Deathdramon looks at Tai.
Deathdramon- Such a pathetic human... Running into battle without protection.
Deathdramon roars at Tai. He is pushed by the sound of the roar. Tai slides across the ground.

Lillymon fires her flower cannon shot at Deathdramon. He moves his eyes, the attack had been deleted. Deathdramon tail wacks Lillymon. She turns back into Palmon.
Mimi- Palmon, no!
Palmon is thrown to where Tai is. Deathdramon looks at them both.
Deathdramon- It's time I ended you two, for good!
Deathdramon walks to them both. Mimi, his scared out of her mind.
Mimi- No... no... this is just like...
Mimi remembers her nightmare again. Tai being killed by Deathdramon.
Mimi- This can't be true! It just can't!
Seda- Tai, Palmon, get out of there!
Both of them struggle to move.
Palmon- We... can't move...
Mimi- Come on! You guys have to fight! Please, move!
Mimi (To herself)- No... I can't... I can't lose them... but what can I do?! How can I save them?!
Tai (Voiceover)- If you're willing to face your fears than you will be strong and evolve but the hard part is you taking the first step. You have to give the feeling, thought, and emotion of self-sacrifice to face that fear. Knowing that it might cost you your life, you took that step to face it. Once you take that first step, it will be easy to face it.
Mimi- My fear...
Deathdramon is getting closer to Tai and Palmon. Mimi stands and shakes.
Flashback
Mimi grips Tai's hand tight and starts to weep. Tai only smiles, but he knows that Mimi is scared out of her mind. Tai pulls her in to hug her tightly.
Tai- It's alright, Mimi.
Mimi- I am scared... scared of losing myself, losing who I care about the most, scared of this feeling... but I know I have to face it now. But I don't know if I'm strong enough.
Tai rubs her back.
Tai- Of course, you are. Being strong is not just being all-powerful and handling things on your own. It takes more strength and might to protect someone or to ask for help then not seeking help and running away.
Mimi pulls away from Tai. Tai wipes her tears again. Tai rubs her hand with his thumb.
Tai- You can do it, I know you can.
Flashback Ended
Mimi can hear and feel her own heartbeat. Deathdramon stops and stares at his target. His claws charge with energy. Tai sits there as Palmon uses her Poison Ivy to Deathdramon. The ivy turns into dust.
Mimi- No...
Deathdramon- How sad that you still fight... when all hope is lost.
Seda- Tai, Palmon! Get out of there.
Deathdramon raises his claw.
Mimi- No!
Mimi tightens her grip. She grinds her teeth, she remembers how she and Tai were sitting down next to each other.
Mimi- I can't... I don't...
She remembers Tai coming for her recuse in the tower.
Mimi- I won't... lose...
Deathdramon- May the God of Darkness give you pain suffering!
As he says those words, Mimi can hear those words from Nirumon.
Mimi- NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Deathdramon comes down with his claws. Seda moves from his spot. Tai and Palmon stare at the claws, seeing their death gripping them and ready to tear them into pieces. Tai's eyes shrink. Mimi gets in front of Tai and Palmon and gets clawed by Deathdramon. Tai's eyes widen along with Palmon's. Tai reaches for Mimi. Mimi's eyes are desolated, her clothes are torn she was three huge claw marks on her body.
Tai and Palmon- MIMI!
Seda stands there motionless.
Seda- No! Mimi!
Mimi is like a motionless puppet that can only see what happened. She falls to the ground. Tai gathers the strength to get up.
Tai- Mimi... no!
Tai walks to her and falls to her knees.
Deathdramon- Useless scum! Failure is one thing, but taking an odd behavior like that...
Tai stares at Mimi. Mimi moves her head to Tai. She moves her arm up slowly, Tai grabs her by the hand.
Tai- Mimi, you can be...
Palmon- Mimi!
Palmon runs to Mimi.
Palmon- Mimi! It's going to be OK, just hang in there!
Mimi looks at Tai and Palmon. She only smiles.
Tai- Why... why Mimi?! Why did you do it?!
Mimi- I... I had to face my... fears... and the biggest one... was losing you and Palmon... I had to face my fear... even if it cost me...my life...
Tai- No! Mimi, that's not fair! You...you can't leave! I won't allow it! I... I didn't want you to risk your life for mine!
Mimi- But... but I had to... for you and Palmon to live on.
Palmon- But Mimi! We can't go on without you! Can't you see that?!
Tai lives her up.
Tai- Mimi... I... I can't go on without you... we still... we can still...
Mimi puts her hand on Tai's face. Tai starts to cry. Mimi smiles at him.
Mimi- Tai... I love you... and I'm always going to be there for you... be by your side. My only regret was not saying anything sooner... I'm sorry that put you through this... I'm sorry that you got involved in my mess... I never meant for this to happen. I'm sorry that I couldn't stay longer with you... but just know that I love you will all of my heart and soul and I would and will always be there for you even if it meant costing me death.
Tai- Mimi... please don't... I can't... I won't lose you!
Mimi cries and smiles at Tai.
Mimi- It's... too late, Tai... Goodbye...
Her hand falls from Tai's face. Tai watches as Mimi's arm goes down and lands on the ground.
Tai- Mimi! Mimi!
Palmon- Mimi! Please wake up!
Tai shakes her.
Tai- Mimi... no... NO! NO! MIMI!
Seda puts his head down.
Seda- Mimi...
Deathdramon stares at them.
Deathdramon- She got what she deserved...
Tai holds onto Mimi tight.
Tai- Mimi... please come back... I need you!
Tai cries hard. She remains lifeless. He lends over and kisses her on the lips. He pulls away grinding his teeth. Tai is furious.
Tai- How... how could you...
Tai sets her down and stands up with his head down. He shakes.
Deathdramon- What is the matter? It is time for me to end your pitiful life! NOW!
Deathdramon fires a beam of black fire at Tai. Tai turns his head and reflects the beam back to Deathdramon and backs him.
Deathdramon- What?!
Tai has red aura energy around him. He stares at Deathdramon.
Tai (growls)- How much longer are you going to keep on living?! I will make you pay for what you've done!
Tai's Digivice glows brightly in red and orange color. It shows both his Crests. They gather Wargreymon's Dramon Killers and transform them into a huge sword. Seda looks at the sword.
Seda- Whoa... what did you do?
Tai- Mimi... I know you can hear me, please, help me take him down! I'm not going to lose you! My new desire... is for you to be alive!
Tai shouts into the air.
World of Light
Mimi floats into the sky.
?- Mimi... Are you giving up?
Mimi- Hm?
?- Are you giving up?
Mimi- No... I've just accepted my fate...
?- Then you are giving up... what made you risk your life for Tai and Palmon?
Mimi- To face my fear... I didn't bear to see them die...
?- So, you gave up your own life? Just to save them? Even if it meant that you couldn't be with the person you've longed for?
Mimi- Yes, he... he shouldn't be the one to fall by my mistakes.
?- Mistakes? You mean allowing the darkness to take over?
Mimi- Yes, I allowed my emotions and feelings to fall into darkness and I allowed Mehiramon to use them against me and Sora without fighting... I just let her take over. I was weak, and I used my thought of not being a member of the Digi-Destined as an excuse... I soon realized that I had to accept it. Even though I didn't want to be a member, I had to see that it was fate that hands me this life. I knew that it wouldn't fix anything, but I couldn't let Tai or Palmon, or anyone else the die because I allowed the darkness and sorrow to grow.
?- So, you gave up your interests, your wishes, your wants and needs, your love for Tai, your bond with Palmon to help everyone else?
Mimi- Yes, I had no choice... I was scared, Tai and Seda did everything and I barely did anything. At least by me dying, Tai will have the drive he needs to fight on. And although it pains me that I lost my only chance to be with him, I have no regrets for telling him my true feelings and emotions to him. I was truthful with my true feelings and emotions. Without the fear of lying to myself or anyone else. My lust had vanished, and my selfishness had been wiped clean now. I gave up my life, so Tai could live.
?- You allowed yourself to be truthful with yourself and others with more than just your feelings and emotions. You were truthful with your actions, your ambitions, your heart, your mind, your soul. You have good faith in yourself now, knowing that you've faced your demons and faced your fears in the most horrific way possible. You gave up everything to save someone that you truly loved. Not because it was the right thing to do, but because you were true to yourself. Knowing that you are willing to put your life at risk to save or to heal a person's heart, it shows how sincere you are with heart, your emotions, and your feelings.
Mimi- Yeah... so now I guess I wait for my next life?
?- No, your role in this first life is not over yet. Tai, Palmon, Agumon, Seda, Yula, Chaos, all of them are waiting for your return.

She opens her eyes and sees a person in a white and gold jacket cloak with his face sealed.

?- A friend, it's never too late my dear. I've seen you struggle for quite some time, and it is never easy to face your fears. It is easier to hidden and not say anything but harder to handle. But it is harder to show and say anything, but easy to handle. You've chosen the right path, what depression you've been facing, what fears you've faced... you looked at your inner demons and face them, you didn't allow them to take anyone's life. By doing all of this. It grants you this.
He opens his hand. It shows a new Crest Symbol. The Symbol of a heart that is guarded by wings. Outside of the wings are three swords pointing at the wings.
Mimi- Is... is this what I think it is?
?- Yes, the Crest of Self-Sacrifice. Now get back to Tai, he needs you, wake up, Mimi.
The unknown man puts his hand on her head. Everything vanishes.
Temple of Desires- Chaos's Chamber
Chaos looks at his D3. It shows the new Crest for Mimi.
Chaos- That a girl, I knew she could do it. Hm?
Chaos's D3 turns a mix of red, orange and green. He sees the Crest of Leadership flashing.
Chaos- Oh... Agumon, you're in for a treat now...
World of Darkness- Final Platform
Mimi's body glows. Tai turns around.
Tai- Mimi?!
Palmon- She's glowing!
Deathdramon roars as the light blind him.
Deathdramon- What... is this?! Huh?!
Mimi's wounds are being healed. Tai watches as her body heals.
Tai- Mimi?!
The light heals Tai, Palmon, Wargreymon, and Seda.
Seda- My energy!
Wargreymon- It's being restored!
Palmon- Mimi!
Tai- She healed us all!
Mimi's body stops glowing. She opens her eyes slowly. Tai rushes to her.
Tai- Mimi!
Mimi opens her eyes fully to see Tai and Palmon in her sights.
Mimi- Tai? Palmon? Is... is this right?
Tai- Yes! This is real!
Tai hugs her tight. Mimi is speechless with Tai's emotions.
Palmon- We thought you were gone forever, Mimi! Don't ever scare us again!
Mimi smiles and cries. She closes her eyes and nods.
Mimi- Okay... thank you, you guys for fighting for and with me.
Tai pulls away and helps her up.
Mimi- But, we can save my welcome back party later, right now we have a dragon to slay.
Tai smirks and nods. They look at Deathdramon.
Deathdramon- Remarkable that you somehow managed to survive, but that won't happen again!
Tai- No... it won't, in fact, us losing to you won't happen again either!
Seda stands up. His Crystals glow. He looks at them both.
?- Lend them your power.
Seda nods.
Seda- Tai! Mimi! Catch!
Seda throws them each a Crystal. Tai catches Laveryenmon's Crystal and Mimi catches Lutheismon's Crystal.
Seda- Go take him down, use their power to beat him.
Tai- Don't worry.
Mimi- We will.
Aura goes around Tai and Mimi. Their Digivices shine with power. Mimi's Digivice turns green with orange color of the lights. The face of her Digivice have the Crest of Sincerity on it. She smiles proudly, she has a silver aura around her.
Mimi- Palmon, you ready?
Palmon- Do it, Mimi!
She looks at Tai. He nods to her. She rushes and kisses him on the lips. She pulls away. Tai is surprised but thrilled at the same time. She smiles at Tai.
Mimi- Just in case something else happens.
Tai smiles.
Tai- Right.
A beam of light hits Palmon.
Palmon- Palmon! Warp Digivole to!
Deathdramon- NO!
Palmon sinks into the ground. A red rose comes out of the ground. Inside of the rose, Palmon turns into Togemon, then, Lillymon. Lillymon has rose petals hovering all over her body. The rose goes onto her body. The huge rose opens. The new Digimon comes out of the center of the rose and lands near Mimi and Tai.
Rosemon- Rosemon!
Seda is impressed.
Seda- Well done, Mimi. Because of your actions, Palmon warp Digivolved into her Mega form.
Mimi- Wow... Rosemon, she looks beautiful!
Wargreymon floats next to Rosemon.
Wargreymon- Ready partner?
The Crystal that Tai holds glows along with his two Crests.
Deathdramon- What now?!
The sword that is planted into the ground, it glows with the same aura as Laveryenmon. Deathdramon looks at the sword.
Deathdramon- What's going on?!
Wargreymon holds out his arm. The sword turns color and floats into Wargreymon's hand. Tai holds his Digivice up to Wargreymon.
Tai- Wargreymon! Victory Evolution!
Deathdramon- Victory?!
Wargreymon's body is consumed with fire.
Wargreymon- Wargreymon, Victory Digivolve to!
Wargreymon's armor breaks off and forms into new armor. He holds up his arm as the sword falls into his hands. He slashes the fire three times.
Victorygreymon- Victorygreymon!
Tai- Victorygreymon! Alright!
Mimi- And victory will be ours!
Deathdramon- How?! How could he Digivolve again?!
Seda looks at the two new Digimon.
Seda- Awesome, let's see if they can finish it.
Tai- Go get him!
Victorygreymon- Right! Let's go Rosemon!
Both Digimon charges at Deathdramon.
Deathdramon- It matters not of what Digimon you turn into! YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ME! INFERNO OF THE DARK WORLD!
Deathdramon fires his evil flames at Victorygreymon and Rosemon. Victorygreymon goes in front of Rose and forms a new shield.
Victorygreymon- Victory shield!
He blocks the attack and reflects it back at Deathdramon. He backs off. Victorygreymon glides at Deathdramon and slashes one of the wings off.
Deathdramon- AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
Victorygreymon jumps and spins. He cuts the other wing off and rams into Deathdramon with his shield. Rosemon hovers over Deathdramon.
Rosemon- Rose Spear!
She generates a spear that is strong as Chrome Digizoid. She breaks through Deathdramon's armor.
Rosemon- Rose whipping!
She drives her whip into the grow. It comes back out and cuts all over Deathdramon's body, breaking his armor.
Victorygreymon- Rosemon, let's end this fight!
Rosemon- Let's!
Deathdramon- DON'T DO IT!
Victorygreymon splits his sword into two. They charge with flame energy along with Laveryenmon's energy. Rosemon's body is highlighted in red and silver.
Rosemon- Forbidden temptation!
Rosemon unleashes thousands of rose petals at Deathdramon. Each petal is deleting a piece of Deathdramon's body and armor.
Rosemon- Victorygreymon, he's weakened, finish this!
Victorygreymon- With pleasure!
Victorygreymon runs at Deathdramon. (I know this isn't one of his attacks, but I decided to put it in there)
Victorygreymon- Perfect Victory Slash!
Victorygreymon rapidly slashes Deathdramon with great speed. Every slash is deleting Deathdramon. Victorygreymon jumps high in the air and creates a V with his sword slashes. It goes straight at Deathdramon and cuts the monster into pieces, destroying Deathdramon. His whole body is reduced to ash and data.
Tai- Alright!
Mimi- We got him!
Mimi hugs Tai tightly, they both look at their Digimon. Ever so proud of them. Seda is impressed with their teamwork.
Seda- Yes, yes, that was excellent teamwork, you four. Well done.
They both cheer for their Digimon and for each other. Both Digimon turns back into their rookies. They land into their partner's arms.
Tai- Agumon! That's was amazing!
Agumon- I never felt that strong before!
Palmon- Mimi! How did I do?!
Mimi- I couldn't be more proud of you, Palmon. You're the greatest!
Seda walks to them all. He clips for them.
Seda- Excellent work you four. I'm very proud of you.
Tai- Well, we couldn't have done it without your help.
Seda- All I did was give you two those Crystals, it was up to the Divine Data Knights to lend you their power.
Mimi- Well, they did help us out. Palmon can not go into her Mega form.
Tai- And Agumon can turn into a powerful warrior without Gabumon.
Seda- That's right... and because of you four, we can get out of here.
A portal opens.
Seda- Come on, let's get out of here.
Seda walks through the portal, Agumon and Palmon go through. Tai looks at Mimi.
Tai- You ready?
Mimi smiles big at Tai.
Tai- What's that face for?
Mimi shakes her head.
Mimi- You had the desire to have me back, didn't you?
Tai- Yeah, I did. I wanted you back. I couldn't bear losing you. When you took the hit for me, I felt so helpless... I thought my... my whole life was gone.
Mimi- Your whole life?
Mimi is speechless with Tai's words.
Tai- Yeah... Mimi, it took me a while to realize this, but it's you that I love. And I want to be apart of your life. You mean everything to me. When I was hurt, you picked me up and nursed me back to health... that's when I knew that I had someone that would always care for me...
Mimi- Tai...
Tai pulls Mimi and kisses her on the lips. Her eyes are wide open. She has a tear come down on her face as she closes them. She embraces Tai's love for her. They pull away from each other.
Mimi- Tai... but what about, Yula?
Tai- Something just tells me that she already knows. I'm sure she'll tell me.
Mimi smiles at Tai and nods.
Mimi- Okay... I'm yours then.
Tai- And you are mine, now let's go stop Giselle and Mehiramon.
Mimi- Right, let's go.
They both walk into the portal together. The portal vanishes.
Temple of Desires- Underground
Giselle and Mehiramon stand there.
Giselle- Well, it looks like Deathdramon has failed us.
Mehiramon- And they are on their way here.
Giselle- Don't worry, we have a backup plan... isn't that right... TK?
Giselle looks behind her. TK's eyes are black. He has the fragment of the Dark Crest in his heart. Patamon is inside of a dark sphere.
TK- Yes, master...

What's up, guys? Saintalpha7 here! Today we've seen the evolution of Palmon and Agumon's new creation. I mentioned at the beginning of the story that each character was going to have their own story just so they can have character development. So, as you all should know, this chapter was about Mimi and Tai, but mainly, Mimi. And yes, now Tai and Mimi are together. The reason I've done this because I felt a bit odd to me when Tai and Yula were together. I thought it would be a good idea, but I thought to myself, would there show any romance into the story if a new character who has unlimited thoughts of what she might look like. If she wasn't an actual character in Digimon, then it would be different. But she isn't, so now Tai and Mimi are a thing now. But that's beside the importance of this chapter. What did you guys think of this whole plot twist? I'm sure a lot of you could tell the Giselle was a bad person, but I'm sure I threw a curveball at you all of what her role is. What did you guys think about Victorygreymon entering the story? And of course Rosemon? Who was the person in white that Mimi spoke to? And finally, what's going to happen to TK and Patamon?
