Chuck Vs. I Can
Disclaimer: I'm relatively new to the world of 'Chuck' and I wish I had been watching it when it was first airing as I'm legit enjoying this show. Now I'm only past the 9th episode of season 1 and well, I kinda wanted to do something a little different regarding that last scene between Chuck and Lou.
"Lou, you are everything that I'm lookin' for and trust me when I say I AM looking." Declared Chuck Bartowski to the beautiful girl in front of him.
The one and only Lou, whom had recently come into his life after walking in to the Buy More with a cell phone problem. The very same Lou who owns and runs a Sandwich shop and the very same one he was starting to like quite a bit despite certain feelings he has towards the CIA's very own Sarah Walker. But even with that kiss, he knows nothing can happen between them and even if it could, it was likely a long wait in the making. And Chuck wasn't sure he could do that and with Lou… He feels there's a chance there for him to actually be happy. Though part of him wondered if he was being selfish over the whole thing. Provided of course she's willing to give him another chance. The fact her eyes widened at his words told him she hadn't been expecting that answer. Likely thought I was going in a different direction…
Maybe once upon a time in another life he might have if he hadn't given things a lot of thought. "Look, I know you have no reason to really and truly trust me, much less give me another chance, Lou. But I, I want there, there to be an us. You and me. And I'll do whatever it takes if I have too in order to get another chance with you. Even if that includes sitting here all day until you want to actually talk with me."
Lou sucked in a breath, shocked, surprised, and honestly happy about the fact he was wanting to fight for a chance for there to be a 'them'. "And I won't lie, sometimes the whole FDA thing will get in the way but not in the way of you and your business here." He told her.
Especially as there really was no reason for the CIA or the NSA to do so and its not like either was going to report her to the FDA as she was practically small time and not worth the effort according to Casey. "Chuck… I..."
The uncertainty was clear and Chuck could only give her a saddened smile and nod and made to turn around to walk out to give Lou some space and perhaps time to think over his words. "Chuck! Wait!"
And before he knew it, Chuck Bartowski found himself being kissed by the stunning Brunette and it wasn't long before he was responding in kind after he got past the shock. Moments later saw the two break apart. "Wow..." Murmured Chuck.
"I'll say… That was the second best kiss I've had in a long time." Breathed out Lou, feeling a really good tingle all over her body.
Not to mention feeling very happy with the move she had just made. "Happy to continue to provide the fine services of Chuck Bartowski. Er, hopefully?"
Lou chuckled and looked him in the eyes. "Despite how some would say I probably shouldn't, I'm gonna give you one more chance with me." The wide and happy smile from him practically made her weak in the knees and was grateful for the fact she's in his arms.
"I… I'm not gonna make you any promises, Lou, but I am gonna do my best by you."
"I can take that." Lou replied.
And maybe if we go far enough, that can actually be a promise… She thought to herself.
Though further thoughts Lou may have had went out the window when Chuck initiated the kiss this time much to her happiness.
