Chapter 29: The Creepy Island
It was just a normal day on the Thousand Sunny. Zoro and Kuina were having a spar, Luffy was trying to break into the lock on the fridge.
"Hey! I see another island!" called out Star.
As they approached the island.
"You know what I realized when are we going to get to fish man island…" said Luffy.
"Remember sometimes the Log Pose gets broken…" said Star.
Yes… that's the reason why they haven't gone to Fishman Island yet.
"Do you think I should fix it?" asked Nami.
"No! IT's better this way!" said Luffy, "We'll have more adventures this way!"
"Should I fix it behind his back?" asked Nami.
"Wait a bit…" said Ace, "Until he forgets."
"All right I can't wait for all the adventures we'll have here." Said Luffy.
"Something tells me something is wrong with the island…" said Star.
"What sort of bad feeling?" asked Ace.
"Just a really bad one…" said Star.
They managed to find a place to dock on the island.
"So ho's going to go on?" asked Star.
"I can't! My "I can't go on this island disease" is acting up!" said Usopp.
"Of course it is." Muttered Sanji.
"We should get some more food." said Nami.
Plus it would be a good idea to distract Luffy after what happened early…" said Sanji.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Said Luffy.
"You tried to break into the fridge!" yelled Sanji.
"Oh right…" said Luffy.
"I'll keep an eye on him." Said Star.
"Same here." Said Ace.
"I'll go to keep him out of trouble." Said Zoro.
"And I'll keep Zoro out of trouble." Said Kuina.
"Good idea…" said Nami.
And so they went onto the island.
They got to into town and the entire town was houses with white picket fences.
That was when they approached by a man.
"Hi there what brings you to this island?" he said giving a bright smile.
"To come her to explore!" said Luffy.
"Oh so you don't want to cause trouble since you're pirates?" asked the man.
"No… we're just here to explore." Said Star.
"Good… and you better be honest." Said the man.
"Hey where's the tavern on the island?" asked Zoro.
"Sorry but there's no tavern on the island, as no one drinks." Said the man.
"What?" asked Zoro.
"There a restaurant we can eat?" asked Kuina.
"Sure of course." Said the man.
He told them how to get to the local restraint. When they got opt the business district they saw that everyone else was just like the man. They were smiling and way to present.
They got to a restaurant, and Zoro was grumbling.
"They're up to something…" muttered Zoro.
"What?" asked Star.
"I'm sure of it, this entire island is bounty hunters." Said Zoro.
"What?" asked Star.
"You can't be too sure." Said Kuina.
"This is just like Whiskey Peak." Said Zoro.
"I have to agree with them, they just might be nice." Said Ace.
"No something is definitely up…" said Luffy, "And I'm going to find out what it is!"
The group sighed.
"This is going to end badly what do you think…" said Star.
"OF course it's going to end badly…" said Zoro.
Meanwhile Sora was watching them.
"What a creepy town…" said Sora she began to think.
"What's wrong?" asked Oceana.
"Should I do it… make it even creepier?" asked Sora.
'How would you do that?" asked Terre.
"By turning the whole town into monsters." Said Sora.
"That's a terrible idea." Both of them said.
"Then what should I do?" asked Sora.
"How about you just go after the mayor or some random bystander." Said Oceana.
"Fine…" muttered Sora. "But I don't think they're happy go lucky attitude is the result of some dark secret…"
She disappeared to enact their plans.
Meanwhile after lunch they explored the shops.
"Mommy! Mommy! It's pirates!" yelled a child.
"Now little one I told you it's impolite to stare and draw attention." Said the mother who then took her child away.
The Straw Hats saw this sweat dropped.
"Sorry about that child." Said a someone showing up, "We know you're pirates… but please don't see the entire town as finger pointing pirate pointers."
"You just said pointing twice…" said Star.
"I'm the mayor of this island and don't mind any of that…" said the Mayor.
"Why are you acting like that?" asked Luffy.
"Acting like what?" asked the mayor.
"You're not bounty hunters are you?" asked Star.
"No! We're not! I swear!" said the mayor who looked to on the verge of tears.
"Then why does everyone in this town act weird…" said Star.
All of them were on guard.
"Oh I get it…" said a voice.
That was when they saw Sora.
"You live in a perfect little world and pretend nothing is wrong!" said Sora, "They pretend pirates never attack and if they do show they beg not to be attack… isn't that right mayor… You're all Stepford smilers!"
"What does that mean?" asked the mayor.
"We don't know…" said Luffy.
"Yeah…" agreed the rest.
"Doesn't matter..." said Sora.
Sora revealed her gem and turned the mayor into a monster.
All of the nearby people began to scream in terror running away leaving the five there.
"Looks like you lucked out." Said Sora.
"All right is everyone ready?" asked Star.
The others nodded.
"Galaxia Galaxy Power!"
"Mars Cosmic Power!"
"Juno Cosmic Power!"
"Neptune Cosmic Power!"
"Make-up!"
All of them transformed to their Senshi form.
"All right! Now go attack them!" ordered Sora.
The monster that was once the mayor ran towards the four Senshi and one swords woman.
That was when the monster stopped and summoned something.
"Get ready! It's going to attack." Said Sailor Galaxia.
The Mayor monster started glowing… the glow forming into something pole shaped.
Sailor Juno readied her sword thinking it was going to be a weapon.
That was when the Mayor monster's "weapon" appeared… it was a flag… a white flag.
"What!" yelled the Sailor Senshi.
"Should we call someone else?" asked Sailor Mars.
"No…" said Sailor Galaxia.
Sora began to blush.
"Summon them!" yelled Sora, "Summon them now or I'll kill your Juno's girl friend."
"Why?" asked Kuina.
"I have my reasons!" yelled Sora flushed.
"You want to turn this into a big epic battle don't you?" asked Sailor Galaxia, "To spare you the embarrassment of this fight!"
"Shut upon!" yelled Sora turning even redder.
"Besides you might want to look behind you…" said Sailor Neptune.
Sora turned around and saw Terre and Oceana laughing.
"This isn't funny!" yelled Sora, "And you followed me!"
"We figured something like that was going on…" said Terre.
"That's it!" yelled Sora, "I'm leaving!"
Sora left while Oceana and Terre followed.
"Well I guess I should heal the poor sap…" sighed Sailor Galaxia.
"Galaxia Healing!"
With that the mayor was healed.
"Well that was pointless…" said Sailor Juno.
"Let's just pretend this one never happened." Said Kuina.
The Senshi agreed.
Sometime later they made it back to the ship… they explained why the island was so creepy.
"Denial?" asked Nami.
"Yes, they were convinced that if they pretend everything was fine then it was…" said Star.
"It's creepy with how fake it is!" said Usopp, "I knew all along!"
"Liar…" said Luffy.
"Wait then what about the booze?" asked Zoro.
"Maybe they don't drink it is because they realized if pirates didn't have any they would attack less or something like that…" said Kuina.
"Did something happen on the island?" asked Vivi.
Those that went on froze.
"Nothing!" said Ace.
"Yeah… nothing…" said Zoro.
"Something embracing happened… didn't it?" asked Nami.
"Well." Said Luffy.
"You don't want to know." Said Kuina quickly.
"Well the log pose is set so we can set sail any time." Said Nami.
"All right! Let's go!" cheered Luffy.
And so… well… then again…
Nothing really happened… did it?
