I, Gintoki Sakata, stood across the baseball stadium where Nao had entered with a decent sized group this afternoon. I didn't see anyone lead them in the structure.

I noticed that the shops along the side facing the street were all shut down. I had some information from a local contact who wore sunglasses as his trademark regardless of how shabby he was clothed. He had been working in the area as a temporary hire, but could never find steady work. He said some company had bought out the shops or ran the owners out of town. Strange thing was that these people who owned the shops were tied to a fairly established gang.

It was dark and I had some Sour Brittles in my mouth standing in a dimly lit alleyway. It would be obvious being the only person on the street that I was observing the FIB group activity.

Thud! I felt something hit me in the thigh.

I yelled internally clenching my teeth not to make a sound and fell on the littered pavement. I heard a door open followed by footsteps.

"You trying to dig up something on us, huh?" The big one said.

"No no no no no, I was just taking a stroll on this fine Friday night."

"I don't think he's with any brass. Just look at his dead-fish eyes," the smaller whispered.

"Yeah, Wedge. He must be on Refrain."

The two walked back into where they had entered the ally. I hobbled to put some distance between us. I didn't need to cause any trouble with people unrelated to the Liar Game group.

While trying to be as inconspicuous as I stumbled along the road, a convoy of armored vehicles sped by me. I don't remember Debriten's conglomerate being this flagrant, but then again he did have everyone in his pockets and this place was deserted too. So, it wouldn't make a scene.

I called my two assistants to bring me my scooter.

Kagura and Unremarkable Glasses boy showed up in about ten minutes after the convoy's sighting. I told them to take the nearest subway back to our agency. I'd want to keep tabs on Nao but it's too dangerous for the two part-timers to handle, and there could be some lead if I followed the convoy.

I, Kamuin Shirou, stood atop a bridge looking at the convoy of Debritten's armored trucks being diverted to different routes. The success of their delivery would cause a spiral of events that would lead to disaster. I've only scratched the surface of what's happening in this time. Even for Yuuko the extent that I knew about this present is limited. A certain event in the following Golden Week would change the world for the worst. Society had degraded into a constant quest for powerful sorcery based weaponry. I was brought up as a pawn to be used in our region's military.

I have the ability to see the color of people's inner thoughts. I've tried trained so I could tell how people would react in the financial world knowing how optimistic or pessimistic people are give me information on how they would react in their trades. By looking at satellite maps of certain areas one color could dominate so if I focus on prime financial territory I could guess seventy-seven percent accuracy on fluctuations. It is difficult however since most people have been discouraged by the string of criminal activity. Patches of optimism show up rarely in this time in these financial districts.

I wasn't prepared to have other people after the same cargo.

These people must have failed their objective. If I was any other person, I would use their help and work with them, but I'm confident in my own skills.

After this thought, I grappled down the bridge to the road.
