Beyond the Stars
It is another day on Planet Earth. This Planet is a continental Planet with more than 70% of its surface covered with water and the only inhabited place in the Solar System called Sol. The most prominent species, called Humans, was living their everyday life. Most of them were just simple workers like, clerks, farmers or technicians, but others were specialists in certain areas of knowledge. There were politicians, scientists, Generals and even sometimes a genius, who alone could change the way of this world.
One of those was Jacen. Though many wouldn't consider him one. He usually kept to himself, didn't have any friends, let alone a girlfriend, but many did not know, that he was an all-round knowledgebase, that could give you an answer for most things, when asked.
He was bullied -again- during lunch break in his middle school. He was bullied, simply because he was a stereotype nerd with glasses, a scrawny body and had an interest in books -mostly Sci-Fi-. Besides the usual insults or threats, he wasn't allowed to eat at the tables of his classmates and sometimes, food was thrown at him for no reason, without provocation at all. The Teachers didn't care about him. Those Kids were just playing, and they can be evil sometimes. So, he decided to eat outside of the school building, under the shadow of a tree.
Said tree was about 10 metres high, and probably very old. It was his favourite place in the whole school. He would often sit there and just think about his future and that of the planet or do his homework. After finishing his lunch and hearing the bell, that announced the start of the next class, he headed back to his classroom.
*after the end of the school day*
Jacen walked his way home. He took the shortest route to meet as few people as possible. He wanted to take a shortcut through an dark alley. Just shortly after leaving the school ground, he was surprised when he saw a group of four kids his age standing in front of him, blocking his way.
"Look who's here boys!" yelled the biggest kid. "The nerd has finally arrived!"
All four had an evil smirk across their faces. Jacen was shocked and watched them getting closer, with wide eyes. He was shivering and trembling, because of the fear he felt. They started beating him senseless, all the while throwing insults at him.
When they had finished, they left him lying down in the dark and dirt of the alley.
He had no tears to shed anymore and was just trembling in the waves of pain he felt.
Bruises were already visible and it seemed as his left forearm was broken, maybe even more.
He soon passed out.
A/N: First story! A little teaser to see if you want more. I plan to bring in some things from other franchises but also to create my own stuff. Will add things from Stellaris, Star Citizen, Star Wars and maybe some others. Have a good time!
