As Aro got stronger and healthier Didyme said it was time to return home where he would be changed back into a vampire. A day pass but Aro wouldn't aged, Carlisle thought that it was his body frozen in time except without the venom that makes them immortals.
The Cullen kids were all sad that Aro had to go, they really enjoyed his company and began to love him as a member of the family. Jacob was devastated at the news and so was his pack. Leah loved sharing her warmth with him thinking of him as a lost child who needs a mom. Seth because he and Aro became buddies and partners in crime. Sam and his pack were also sad, they liked seeing Aro so often, playing with him, teaching him to play sports and games. Esme had been a mother figure to Aro and he thought of her as his mom. Carlisle, it was ackward at first, began to be a father figure to Aro, the young Volturi leader had even wished he had a father like him. One thing Aro and Carlisle had in common, was that they didn't have the best of fathers on earth.
As Jacob and Sam help pack Didyme for their flight home, the Cullens spent their last moments with the human Aro.
"I can't believe you are going so soon. It will be the last time we'll see you as a human." Rosalie said sadly.
"I see why you value mortal life now. I mean they have one lifetime before going away, you got eternity unless killed." Aro said.
"That's one reason Aro, you got a lot to learn." Carlisle strokes Aro's hair playing with it.
"I'll miss reading with you Aro, it's really pleasant to have a reading buddy." Jasper said.
"And I'll miss having you helping me around the house." Alice said. Aro smiles at them.
"Well I'll miss the fun times we played video games and wii, you make the funniest game player!" Emmett said giggling.
"As funny as you ripping or losing your pants when you get too excited." Aro burned Emmett and the poor boy's face blushed angry red.
"What?! Emmett?" Rosalie looked at her mate.
"I don't want to talk about and don't ask. Please." Everyone laughed their butts off.
Even the packs of wolves who came just in time to hear the commotion going on, laugh at the thought of Emmett's pants with a huge hole and him pant less.
"Man, I'll even miss you challenging Carlisle into a rap battle. Ha the mistletoe burn, I'll never forget that one!" Edward laughed.
"I will miss seeing you every day. Most of all watching over you while you sleep, especially when Renesme is cuddled at your side." Bella said.
"That was so cute! Cuter when Jacob in his wolf form cuddling around them. I could just cry if I had tears." Rosalie said.
"Dudes I cried at the sight." Said Emmett.
"I never sensed a peace and calming feel out of you Aro, well, now that you're a human who will never age." Jasper said.
Carlisle held Aro close kissing his forehead. Getting closer, Aro pressed himself to his chest as he wrapped his arms around the Volturi leader. Esme took a turn and stroke Aro's cheek, she looked at his hazel-blue eyes for the last time.
"I'll miss the color of your eyes." She said sadly.
"Thank you all for having me and looking after me. I'll miss you all." Aro had nothing to say for the great generosity of the Cullens.
"Brother, it's time to go." Aro walked to his sister's side and held onto her hand. "I thank you all for what you done for my brother. We will never forget that."
"Leave in peace Aro and Didyme, we will soon see each other if God wishes." Carlisle said.
"Thank you, well with your excuse, we shall leave now."
They left after one last goodbye from the Cullens and the pack.
The ride between them was silent and cold. Aro finally had the gust to talk.
"How did you came back to life?" He asked nervously.
"When Sulpicia died, Loki helped me take her place in our world, he and I are close friends. I met his daughter Hella, she is quite the character." Didyme explains.
"Who's Loki?" Aro asked curiously.
"A friend of mine, I told you." Said Didyme.
"Oh."
The next three hours past like a day for Aro till' he collet himself to face Didyme.
"I'm sorry," Didyme looked at her brother,"I am so sorry that I killed you. I was so mad with power hunger. I didn't know what was important. I should have let you and Marcus leave, I could have dealt with the world on my own. Oh Didyme forgive me!" Aro started to cry so did Didyme.
"Aro, I forgave you a long time ago, I never held anything against you. You are my brother and I love you. No matter what." She said.
The way to the airport was smooth. They got to the car where Jane, Alec, Demetri, and Felix were waiting for them.
"Master." Jane looked at Aro's eyes and heard his heartbeat.
"Get us in the car, we need to get to Marcus and Caius as soon as possible."
They reached the castle and when straight to the throne room. Marcus was so delighted to see his mate safe and sound, as for Aro he was extremely worried. Caius welcomes Didyme then running up to Aro, he could not stand his blood.
"Aro, are you alright brother?" Caius held his face in his hands.
"Yes Caius, I'm fine. Well, at least not hurt." He replied to his older sibling.
Caius embrace him breathing in his scent. His blood was so intoxicating but good thing that he has deep control over himself. After Caius lets go, Marcus held him and pressed his head to his chest. As protecting him from the guards.
Aro had missed his home very much, his brothers, his guard, and now his sister. He was overwhelmed by her resurrection and the friend of hers who he owns him gratitude.
"Let's get you something to eat, you must be starving." Marcus said.
"Marcus." Aro started.
"No brother, I know about it. I don't appreciate nor am not going to do anything about you killing Didyme. Let it go, we will soon forget this." Marcus took his brother to his room were he was fed then slept in his sister's arms.
