The girls arrived to start another term at Cackles, everyone was excited but one girl the worst witch

Mildred Hubble had not turned up what's going happen will Mildred be ok.

Now In Ms. Cackles office

HB - "Miss. Cackle, though it pains me to say this. I'm concerned that Mildred Hubble

has not shown up today when all the other 5th years did."

Cackle - "Yes, I was worried also, Miss. Hard Broom, it's not like Mildred to not be here.

I will mirror her mother to see if she can tell us what's going on with Mildred."

HB - "Very well, please let me know later I will be teaching potions."

Miss. Hard Broom disappeared to her classroom but, Miss cackle went to the magic mirror room.

When at the mirror she called out to the Hubble's but no answer came, however, the mirror turned on.

Cackle - "Miss. Hubble are you there? I must talk to you."

Julie Hubble did not answer the magic mirror the house was trashed

all burnt up like a magical war had gone on things appeared to be blown up.

Cackle - "Mildred are you there, Miss. Hubble what's going on?"

No answer came to Miss. Cackle was even more worried now seeing the state of the Hubble house.

After some attempt of trying Miss. Cackle left the magic mirror to fetch HB from the classroom.

Cackle - "Miss. Hard-Broom, I need to speak to you it's really urgent about a matter we discussed earlier."

HB - "Of course Head Mistress, class start mixing your potions

I'll be back Ethel be in charge please."

They both left but stayed outside the classroom started talking.

The girls were not thrilled that Ethel was put in charge over them, outside the classroom now

Cackle, HB began to talk about Mildred.

HB - "What did you discover Miss. Cackle? Is Mildred coming back to school or is something wrong."

Cackle - "I think something is wrong, no answer came over the mirror.

The house looked like a magical war had blown it up, you should leave to see if you can

find Mildred or her mom."

HB nodded yes to Miss. Cackle then disappeared while Miss. Cackle went to speak to the class.

Meanwhile inside the classroom things were getting out of hand.

Enid "Ethel back off, we don't need you teaching us we are capable on our own."

Ethel - "Well aren't we being all high and might Enid Nightshade, I was put in charge."

Maude- " I bet you have something to do with Mildred not being here, I bet that's what Cackle and HB are talking about right now."

Ethel - "I have not Maude Spell-Body take that back, or I'll turn you into a pig."

Everyone was shouting things got out of hand when Enid got up and almost pushed

Ethel out of the way but Miss, Cackle had come in at that point.

Cackle -" Girls what is going on here? Ethel and Enid, you have detention now back to your places."

Maude - " Ethel was being bossy Miss. Cackle, Enid was sticking up for us."

Cackle - " I see but that's no excuse so I will still see you both for detention.

Miss. Hard-Broom left to do something important for me so class dismissed get to lunch."

Enid - "Please Miss Cackle, do you know if Mildred is coming back to school?"

Miss. Cackle wondered when that question would come up, she didn't know what to tell them.

Cackle - "Um I'm not sure yet, I'm trying to figure out what's going on I'll get back to you."

With that everyone filed out of the classroom heading off to lunch.

But Ethel Hallow didn't she went up to room instead as she had different plans.
