Here it is everyone, the epilogue!

We ended up rushing a bit because we honestly felt pretty DONE with this thing... it dragged on for a bit too much in our opinion.

So, yeah, sorry if you feel this is rushed, but we were looking forward to knocking it out of the way so we could move on.

Anyway, here goes!

Murasaki stumbled as she found herself in a forest. Well...she had to admit...this was very much away...though in a way that she just realized probably left her without any help. And that was very bad as her steps were unsteady, a trail of blood behind her, while she felt her vision start to blur. Despite that, she continued pushing forward. She had (barely) managed to escape and she had no intention of dying here…

With that in mind she continued forward, not fully focused, before eventually her injuries became too much for her, and she collapsed onto the ground, just off what appeared to be a pathway. The last thing she remembered was thinking back, seeing her friends and family smiling...and wishing she could see them one last time. She barely heard the gasp of surprise.

Part of Murasaki didn't think she'd ever open her eyes again… and yet here she was, slowly opening them, looking at an unfamiliar ceiling.

She still felt like hell though.

Looking around, the room didn't feel familiar either, and lifting her arm up she could see it was bandaged… and also that not a single part of her costume was left on her… slowly, dreading the answer, she lifted the blanket that was on her… and sighed in relief when she saw she was still in her underwear, even though her bra seemed ready to just fall apart. "How did I…?" she groaned, slowly getting up, her entire body still feeling like it was chewed up and spat out...which all things considered...wasn't exactly unaccurate. She did notice she had more bandages on her body though, her wounds all dressed, including the one on her side, and her leg from the looks of it.

Her musing was cut short when the nearby door opened up. "Ah, you're awake. It was touch and go for a bit there, but I'm glad you pulled through," a voice said, revealing a man with short blonde hair and green eyes, wearing a rather clean white outfit… though she wasn't sure if it was a chef's outfit or a male nurse's outfit.

"W-where am I? How'd I get here? And who are you?" Murasaki couldn't help but ask...before remembering her current state and blushed as she used the blanket to cover herself up more. "And where are my clothes?"

"Well, in order, you're at my clinic, I found you on the side of the road, I'm Doctor Oscar Remmy, and your outfit was falling apart, and most of it was in the way, so I had to cut it off to get to your wounds. The remains of it are in here." he said, holding up a see through plastic bag, the tattered remains of her hero outfit visible in it. "Though I must admit I'm curious as to what you were doing wearing something like this in the middle of the forest. When it was more or less in one piece, it looked almost like something out of a comic book."

"Well...it's not that strange," Murasaki blinked. "It's normal for a Hero to wear something like that…" she sighed as she remembered her run in with AFO again, and involuntarily shuddered. However...that was when she felt a hand on her forehead.

"Hm...no notable fever. You must have hit your head harder than I thought…" Oscar mused. "I think for now it's best you get plenty of rest, Miss…" he trailed off.

"Murasaki. Murasaki Yaoyorozu," Murasaki said quickly, wondering why he thought she would have a fever. Either way, she wasn't in the mood to argue.

"Alright then, Miss Yaoyorozu. For now, please rest. You've been through a rather horrible ordeal," Oscar said kindly. "Oh, and just out of slight curiosity, is there any particular food you enjoy?"

Murasaki didn't think much of the question, figuring he'd probably order something for her or something like that, which she appreciated "Well… I like a good plate of curry as much as the next person." she said with a shrug.

"A nice choice," Oscar nodded. "Well...I'll leave you to rest for now," he said before leaving her alone.

Murasaki blinked, nonplussed at the sudden question and reaction. Sighing, she lay back down, getting a bit more rest. She had no idea where she was, and as it was she was in no state to figure it out, her mind going back to her thoughts before she ended up here. Did she...really mean those words? Did she really want to turn her back on everything she and her friends worked for...or was that just a moment of weakness?

Her musing was cut short as a short while later, Oscar came back...with a push tray that had something under a metal cover.

"Huh... that took faster than I expected." she said after a moment.

"Well, I had all the ingredients on hand and didn't need to unfreeze anything." Oscar said with a shrug.

"Wait… you made it yourself?" Murasaki asked in surprise.

"Why yes, I'm also an accomplished chef. It's actually part of my treatment. The body needs more than just medicine to recover after all," Oscar said simply, opening the cover to reveal a steaming plate of curry. It looked...like easily the best plate of curry she'd ever seen...though she wasn't sure if it was because it was that good, or if it was because she was just starving. Shifting to face the meal, she took a deep breath and the scent was wetting her appetite, the meat and vegetables cooked well, while the rice seemed to have been done JUST right. "Enjoy," Oscar smiled.

"Don't mind if I do," Murasaki nodded. With that, she picked up the spoon, mixed the food a little, before taking a spoonful and putting it in her mouth. The moment she did, her eyes widened. The taste was...it was hard to describe. It had a strong invigorating spiciness, yet it wasn't overpowering in such a way that was tempered by the rice. From there, she could taste a richness that didn't make this feel sickening, but enhanced the flavor with the sweetness from the vegetables all but melted into the sauce, the meat chunks perfectly tender yet still had a light juiciness, all of which made for a flavor that exploded in her mouth. With that in mind, she started eating faster, and before she knew it, she'd all but shoveled the entire plate of food into her mouth. "That was delicious," she grinned, wiping her mouth. "Not even the family cook was that good," she complimented.

"Glad you enjoyed it. Feel free to stay as long as you need. With the injuries you had it will be some time before you fully recover," Oscar said with a small smile.

A few days passed, and Murasaki had come to a rather terrifying conclusion, but one that she couldn't deny. She wasn't where she came from, as in SOMEHOW, she'd ended up in another world. How did she get to this conclusion? The news and the internet.

The internet was still rather… crap, compared to back home, where it was a few years ahead. And there was no mention of Heroes on the news at all. Nothing on Quirks either, and no mention of her old school whatsoever.

Hell, she didn't even find a single mention of her family, and her parents were both quite the influential people. In short, after a few private freak outs, she'd come to accept the reality. To make matters worse, she'd tried to use her Quirk...only to find she either couldn't use it, or when she could, the rings she made were so small at best she could throw something small into it. She didn't know if this was because of AFO, or if whatever she did to end up here had some kind of backlash on her too…

Fortunately, it wasn't all bad. Even if he had no idea what was eating her, Oscar had been a much needed pillar of support for the last few days. He didn't pry into her past, being able to tell it wasn't something she wanted to talk about, but he'd always give her reassurance as he treated her, and between his kind demeanor, his cooking skills...and the fact he was quite easy on the eyes...made his support mean a lot to her.

One thing she found odd though was the fact that the clinic was apparently 30 minutes away from the nearest town, though when she asked why, he'd explained it was specifically for cases like her. That was why the clinic was a large building that doubled as a clinic, a home, and a bistro, with enough room to house a few people. It seemed every now and then people from outside of town would come, sometimes with injuries due to travelling in the forest. As it turned out, the odd mix actually made his place decently popular, while also serving its purpose, hence him being able to keep this place afloat. Not just that, because he was far enough from the town, he could even have his own little vegetable patch, and according to him, there was even a waterfall lake nearby that was the source for the lake that ran through the town. In short, it was a nice little spot just outside of town...more or less.

Well...it was a good thing this place was nice...seeing as they were now stuck here for the time being. It had been a week, and by now she was well enough to walk around...though last night during a storm, it seemed something happened and caused the bridge to the nearby town to collapse. Apparently it would now take some time to fix, but thankfully Oscar kept lots of supplies here just in case, so they would be okay. Speaking of him, they'd started to talk more, and well...she'd started to get to know him more.

He was an orphan, raised with several other kids in an orphanage, though he was one of the unlucky ones who never got adopted and instead went out on their own once old enough, even making his own family name since he had none. His life hadn't been easy, but through hard work and grit, he'd managed to make his way through school and even enter college on a scholarship. In short, he was a self made man, and she couldn't help respecting that. However...regarding him asking about her...she'd still been...unsure of how to talk to him about the subject for obvious reasons…but that didn't change the fact she felt bad about keeping secrets from him. Not helping that was the fact he remained so patient on the subject, never pushing more than simple asking here and there.

"Something wrong Murasaki?" Oscar asked. During their time together, they'd started to grow close, close enough they'd started calling each other on a first name basis, and he had to admit...he quite liked that. Murasaki was an...odd woman at times, but she had a certain strength to her that he couldn't help but find rather attractive. Still, he couldn't help but worry about her past what with how guarded she was...though he'd decided everyone had their baggage, and she'd speak when she felt the time was right. Until then, he'd continue to be her doctor and her friend.

"Well...I…" Murasaki started, unsure if she should say anything...before suddenly the lights went out, the howling of the storm outside audible.

"Well that's annoying," Oscar sighed. "And with the storm going on I don't intend to try using the generator just yet," he sighed, before getting a candle and lighting it, allowing the room to be gently lit. "You were saying?"

Murasaki swallowed nervously "Oscar… I… I'm not from around here." she started.

"Well… yeah, I figured as much." Oscar shrugged.

Murasaki sighed "Not in the way you think though… I'm from another world. Another Earth."

Oscar looked at her for a long moment, and started reaching out for her forehead, before she grabbed his hand.

"I don't have a fever. I'm pretty sure I can't fake 20+ years of living in my world full of people with super powers." she said dryly, before sighing "I can even prove it, but, it'll be difficult." she said and started focusing intently, tuning out everything as one of her portals slowly appeared right between the two, large enough for her to stick her fist through it, before it suddenly snapped close and she released a breath she didn't realise she had been holding.

Oscar was left blinking at what he'd seen, even rubbing his eyes a bit. "...okay, that's...undeniable," he said slowly. "So...from another world...and where people have superpowers...do I want to know why you ended up here...and looking like you were almost mauled by something?" he asked cautiously.

Slowly, Murasaki told him her life's story, both the ups and the downs, recounting her time with her friends in school, their misadventures together, her recent heroics, and… her encounter with All For One.

Though it all, Oscar held her hand comfortingly. He didn't say a word, but he didn't have to, especially when he tightened his grip each time she started to shake at her less than pleasant memories, particularly regarding All For One.

"And that's how I ended up here…" Murasaki said, by the end she looked so very tired. "A washed out hero who ran like a coward…" she said, tears leaking out of her eyes, as once again she'd imagined what her friends must be going through, not only did she vanish from the face of the world, but they had no idea what happened, and now she'd left them to fight against All for One while she ran away…

The next thing she knew though, Oscar had gotten up and hugged her. Murasaki's eyes widened in surprise, before she soon returned the hug openly crying now, as all the emotions she'd been keeping bottled up came flooding out.

Ever since that night, Murasaki had found herself becoming more comfortable here. Now that Oscar knew her secret, the weight she once felt was gone. Oscar obviously promised to keep this a secret from everyone, and continued to be supportive of her. As time went on, her injuries were soon almost healed, but that left her with a small issue. Where was she going to go from here? However, Oscar soon gave her something to seriously think about.

"If you want...you could...stay here," Oscar said, sounding uncharacteristically shy, a small blush on his face. "...with me," he added softly, to the point she almost didn't hear it. Almost.

Her own face lit up with a blush at that "That… that sounds nice." she said after a long moment of silence.

"A-alright then," Oscar said with a nod. "I'm happy to have you," he managed to say, face now rather red.

To say things were awkward after that was a bit of an understatement. It was one thing when she was just his patient, but now that they were living together...things had changed. It wasn't a bad change, but still one that needed getting used to all the same. Still...despite it all they were happy with the arrangement, slowly but surely growing closer, and before long months had passed since they first met, and friendship had grown into love, and almost a year after they'd first met...Oscar came back from town, looking very flustered...until he revealed a small box to Murasaki, one holding a ring inside. Needless to say, she said yes, the two new fiancees soon sharing a tender moment.

Murasaki sighed as she looked at the calendar from where she was seated in the living room. Hard to believe it had been over a year since she came here...and a year since she and Oscar were engaged. They'd been married a month after that, and spent the rest of the time living peacefully in this town, Murasaki working alongside him to help those in need...and she'd gotten a few pointers from him on how to improve her own cooking...even if it wasn't as good as his. Aside from that though, she looked down and gently rubbed her now pregnant belly, feeling her kids inside. The hospital confirmed she was having twins, and by now they'd been able to confirm that they had a boy and a girl on the way.

Just a few more months and they'd meet their kids. They'd agreed to let them have Murasaki's family name at that, and they'd already picked out names for them.

Kazuto and Momo.

Time passed and she soon gave birth to her healthy baby twins, a day that would always be among the happiest days in her and Oscar's lives. The twins grew up happy and healthy under their parents, showing all the signs of more or less normal kids. Momo looked very much like her mother, albeit with some features from her father, while Kazuto looked mostly like his father, having the man's blonde hair, but his mother's eyes. The two showered them with as much love and care as they could, and before long a few years passed.

One thing that shocked Murasaki was when Momo showed signs of a quirk… and what a quirk it was. She could create objects from her body as long as she had enough calories to burn through to do it.

Kazuto though… he didn't actually seem to have a quirk, unless it was just one that was very situational of course, much like Aizawa's quirk.

She figured it might be related to how their father lacked the quirk metagene completely, which was why it seemed like theirs had been somewhat random… though Murasaki did see some resemblance of her sister's quirk in Momo's own.

The twins grew up hearing stories of Murasaki's time as a hero, both completely enthralled by the tales of saving people and stopping villains.

So, when the twins were seven years old… well… she shouldn't have been surprised.

"Alright you two, what do you think you'd want to be when you grow up?" she asked them after she'd finished making their lunch for them. Yesterday had been career day at school and many parents with different jobs at come to explain what their did, and of course Oscar was happy to talk about his odd combo of restaurant and clinic.

Momo looked thoughtful, pausing as she'd been reading a book she got for her recent birthday, thinking hard on her mother's question.

Kazuto however had a big grin, answer clearly already in mind, as he looked up at his mother.

"I'm gonna be a hero!"

Finally!

Yeahp, this story is over people.

... at least, Murasaki's story is.

So, for starters, yes, she is Momo's mother, meaning they WILL return to the Quirk World eventually, and we gave Momo a brother here in Kazuto, who dreams of being a hero like his mother was.

Obviously, Momo and Kazuto will be main characters in the sequel story... because of COURSE we're making a sequel, this one following Kazuto's path on becoming a hero.

The name of that sequel?

A New Hero, A New Legend
