Chapter 57
The light subsided, and as it did, the warriors saw that there was a suit of armor standing up. It was red on its main body, and blue on its arms and legs. Sora was startled by the armor's looks. It almost looked like...
"Terra?!" Sora asked.
No. That is not my name.
"It can talk?" Aladdin was looking confused.
"It's using telepathy," answered Donald.
You're sort of familiar...are you perhaps the one who revived me?
"No, I did that," Cassim said. "That boy is getting in my way. Kill him."
Well, under normal circumstances, I should not do that to a fellow keyblade wielder. However, since you did bring me back... The figure pointed his blade at Sora.
"Whoa, hold on!" said Sora. "You shouldn't try to kill me because of that! Aren't you a keyblade master?"
I was a master at one point. This was before the light consumed me.
"The light did what?" Goofy asked.
Suddenly, the cavern shined once more, with the figure running up towards Sora. He blocked the hits, but the figure kept at it, moving at the speed of light. Donald pointed at the figure, encasing him in ice, before the ice disappeared and he moved next to Cassim.
Not bad. I must admit, I thought that you would have lost by now. Ever since the light absorbed me, I have been able to conquer entire worlds with that power.
"Who are you?!" said Sora. "And what happened to you?!"
I told you already...I was consumed by the light. But as for who I am...I am the keyblade master named Hashirama.
"Stop talking and kill them!" said Cassim.
Time to get serious then.
Hashirama proceeded to slash at Sora and his friends. Unknown to everyone else, Iago was up and above, watching and waiting for an opportunity to swoop in. He stared at Cassim, who was holding the scepter tightly.
As Sora and the being clashed, the intensity of the battle escalated. Hashirama threw projectiles made up of light at Sora, but those were blocked by Goofy's shield. Donald shouted "Dark Firagara!" and a purple-colored energy ball slammed into the being. It crashed into the other side of the cavern.
"Are you serious?!" cried Cassim. "How is it that you can defeat it?!"
I'm not defeated yet. Don't you dare mistake me for a weakling like you.
"Oh, my bad." Cassim was slightly trembling.
"This guy is serious!" said Donald. "He isn't even stunned by my attack!"
And you were thinking that I was going to be fazed by an attack like that?
Hashirama got up from the rubble and raised his blade. The tip of the blade turned purple, and the blade became covered in an aura.
Be gone from this world, and be vaporized within the light!
As Hashirama swinged his blade, an energy blast was released, landing right by Sora and Aladdin. They were engulfed by the light, unable to move.
"Oh no!" Donald raised his staff up, pointing it at the light. Suddenly, the light vanished, and Sora and Aladdin collapsed.
"That was a close one..." Sora couldn't feel his body, and neither could Aladdin.
How are you still whole?
"Sora is not as weak as you think he is!" Goofy carried Sora up. "He's stronger than you are! We won't give up because you launch a fancy attack!"
Fool. A dog like you shouldn't talk-
"NO ONE CALLS GOOFY A DOG AND GETS AWAY WITH IT!" Donald commanded Rocky, who was still for a while, and the rock creature grew into a massive size. Before the armored figure could move, Rocky landed a paw onto its armor. Donald shouted "Enchant Impact!" and the figure was slammed immensely hard onto the floor of the cave. Hashirama laid there, unable to move any longer.
"Curse you duck!" Cassim raised his scepter, only to have it taken by Iago.
"Don't insult my fellow avian friend!" Iago threw the scepter to Aladdin. "Now you won't be able to use that fancy magic anymore!"
"ARRGHHH!" Cassim fell to the ground, enraged in his loss. "Why is it that every time I am close to getting what I want, it's taken away from me?!"
"You chose to get a shortcut instead of building yourself up," said Sora. "You came here by yourself instead of having others help you. You only have yourself to blame."
"Father," Aladdin said, "Why can't you just come back? You know that I don't care about who you are or whom you were made to be, because you are my father..."
"Because I drove myself here to be something that can save our family," Cassim replied. "I want to be the one protecting you. To be the one that makes sure that the family can be alright. I thought that if I could obtain the ultimate power, I could be the one who could always protect you."
"Father...you never had to drive yourself that far at all!" Aladdin looked at Cassim with tears. "I was able to find friends, and when we worked together, we did amazing things! We protected each other! Please, don't fall off the wrong path, and come to Agrabah! Do the right thing and face whatever you did!"
"Aladdin, my boy..." Cassim looked proud, crying in front of his son. Sora and the others were smiling, content that the situation ended well.
While everyone was leaving, Sora looked at the unmoving Hashirama. The armored figure was unable to get up. Without hesitating, Sora pointed his keyblade and shouted "Bind!", encasing his opponent in a chain of energy. Sora gathered energy onto the keyblade, and the figure was encased into a small orb of energy.
"Rocky, can you hold onto that until we get to the ship?" Sora asked. The pet responded with glee by holding the small ball in its mouth.
"Alright, it's time to head back and see what happens next," said Aladdin.
Sora and the others arrived at the Palace completely exhausted. Luckily for them, Jasmine and the others were already there, having fixed up the place. Axel looked a bit concerned about something, and it showed in his posture and face upon seeing Sora.
"Hey, we need to discuss something," said Axel.
"Before we do that, we should explain what just happened." Sora recapped what happened with Cassim and what was in the ball that the animated rock creature was holding.
"Oh...that's the weirdest story I ever heard from you, but oh well. Anyways, we don't have time to talk about why you like creatures that are made out of rock, but you need to know that Roxas was kidnapped!"
"What?! How?!" Donald asked.
"Something about the dream world. Luckily I can fix that, but I'll be sleeping for two minutes aboard the ship."
"Okay...I don't know why but I'm guessing that you don't know either," said Goofy. "Let's get aboard the ship and get to the next world!"
"You have to leave so soon?" Aladdin looked gloomy.
"Well hey there, I can go with them once more?!" The Genie popped out of nowhere. "I want to go on another adventure!"
"Yes, you can come with us Genie!" said Donald. "But I think it's up to Jasmine and Aladdin on what they want to do..."
"He can come with you," said Jasmine. "This might be for the better since he can help out a lot more out there and around here. Mostly because the problems here are going to be mended, right Cassim?"
"Yes." Cassim looked at the group happily. "I know that I did plenty of wrong, but I will fix what I have done. After talking about the scepter and showing it to the Sultan, I want you guys to keep this under a lock, alright?" Cassim gave the scepter to Donald. "And as for your new pet, feed him whatever he wants, Master Caretaker Sora."
Everyone laughed at that, and Rocky got excited, jumping up and down in his decreased form.
"Alright, we gotta head out," said Blue. "We have a lot more worlds to go to in order to protect people."
"Bye you guys!" said Trunks. "We'll hopefully see you soon!"
"Goodbye Sora! Thank you guys for everything and stay safe!" said Jasmine.
"They'll stay safe with me!" promised the Genie.
The spaceship left the planet. Axel sighed a bit and went to a bedroom on the ship.
"Alright, I am going to nap here for a bit. Don't wake me up unless it is necessary, alright guys?"
"Got it Axel." Cloud nodded and went out of the room. Axel closed his eyes and slept on the bed, dreaming of a world where he can find Roxas at...
