Hey guys, so quick update:

I'm probably going to rewrite Hidden Truths, but I can't decide which direction to take it.

The story was starting to feel cringy (i mean considering how I started it way back in 2016, I'm surprised I didn't rework this earlier. Caught in the excitement I guess) so the past couple weeks I've been trying to figure out/rework the plot a lot. I'm definitely going to take out the whole cliche insane wizard thing. I have several ideas for the plot and if any of you guys are interested, I'd like to know your thoughts. Also heck, if you have any ideas, shoot them to me. A solid plot for this story continues to elude me. (i probably shouldn't be trying to come up with a plot like this in the middle of my last semester of college, during freakin midterms. Why do i do this to myself.)

I have this up on a poll on my profile, so you guys can either tell me in the comments where you'd like to see this story go or vote on the poll, but the ideas are as follows:

Idea one: Hiccup and Toothless (15 and also not cursed) find themselves stuck in the year 1832 where he finds dragons have gone completely extinct. He meets and befriends the royal family of Arendelle and grows curious about their mysterious daughter. Story will include a wizard (not insane) who thinks he will be able to help Elsa, and also wants to study Toothless because he's never seen a dragon before, so she is sent off to study magic (doesn't go well) and Hiccup and Toothless go with them as Hiccup searches for answers about what happened to the dragons. A magical journey soon follows full of self discovery and also saving Anna from being kidnapped by an Anti-Magic cult. ((((i promise it's a cooler idea than it sounds))).

Idea two: I figure out a way for Hiccup and Toothless to be cursed without the Ex Machina crazy wizard problem and continue the story how I originally planned it, with Hiccup and Elsa going on a journey together discovering more about themselves and magic, as well as what happened to the dragons.

Idea three: combine both ideas? maybe?

It's reeeaaally hard to put into words what I have in mind without giving away everything lol because I do want to leave the story with some twist and turns and surprises. it's just... hard to decide what those twist and turns will be. Also thanks to my brain and someone I mentioned the story to, I have been suffering massive doubts if this is even worth writing even though it's been helping to keep me sane during this stressful school time, and I just feel like I'm being a cringy butt-hole everytime I so much as doodle my ideas. (((the friend i mentioned the story to/saw a doodle of mine may have reacted very negatively to it and its massively impacted my thought process as I try to go about this story in the least cringey way possible.))

Anyway, so any kind of feedback would be really appreciated 3
