I watch as my sister walks away knowing this was already going to be a long semester. I turn back around to see my father also watching my sister.
"Okay now really tell me why she's so mad at you guys?" Mr. Goode asks looking at my roommates then me.
"She is not mad at them sir. Just me. It's family stuff," I answer looking into his eyes, so he has no reason not to believe me.
"Okay well go back to what you were doing, but Arron I would leave her alone for a while. I know how Gallagher Girls can be," Mr. Goode says, nods at us, then leaves.
"Yeah I so wonder who he could be talking about. I mean really everyone with eyes could see him glancing at your mom through breakfast," Scott says with an eye roll.
"Dude keep the M word out of this," I snap and shake my head.
"Okay. Okay. Well I'm off to look around the school. Alex, Dylan you guys coming?" Scott asks looking at his twin and Dylan.
"Yeah. I bet we can also find where all the girls have their little chats," Alex says wiggling his eyebrows. Sure, those to joke about flirting and sound like they are players, but truth is neither would date just anyone. They actually have both only dated two or three girls, that I know of, they have to really like someone to date them.
"Nah. I'm try and find out what my twin is doing. Catch up with her if she's not busy," Dylan answers with a shrug.
"Okay. Well see you guys latter," Scott says as him and Alex walk away.
"You really going to look for your sister?" I ask looking at him funny.
"No. She's in the library doing homework with her roommates. I thought I go see what we will be working on," Dylan says and walks inside the school. I sigh but follow him inside.
"Hello Mr. Morgan," I hear a voice say and mutter a few words under my breath. I just wanted to go lay down, so I could think of a way to make my sister like me again. I turn and see my mother who has an eyebrow lifted as she watched me.
"Hello Ms. Morgan. Sorry I am just tired and had a type of fight with my sister," I say and see her nod.
"Figured. Anyways I wanted to say sloppy job on that joint filed exercise," she says then walks pass me.
Why can people just drop it. I get I messed up no need reminding me over and over. I sigh for what felt like the millionth time sense I got there. I quickly walk to where they had our rooms located and went into mine laying on the bed wishing it would turn to quick sand and suck me whole.
'Now how should I fix this…' I think to myself as I lay staring at the celling knowing that I was at fault, but I also still believed I took the best course of action giving the choices that I had at that point in time. Now the biggest thing is keeping everything from coming out into the open where none of us really want it.
"Figure anything out?" I hear a voice ask as the door to our room opens and in walks Dylan.
"Not really…" I sigh and sit up. "Why did you come back so soon?" I ask facing him as he starts unpacking his things.
"A-row it's been four hours," Dylan says looking at me with a raised eyebrow.
"What!?" I yell in surprise and look over to the alarm clock to see that four hours had indeed passed without me noticing. "Shoot," I mutter and stand up to unpack as well.
"You must have been in deep thought if you never noticed time passing. Out of us you're the one with the best internal clock," Dylan says as the twins enter the room.
"What's up?" Scott asks looking between me and Dylan.
"Nothing really. I was just lost in thought about the family stuff and didn't notice that four hours had passed," I answer like it was no big deal.
"Wow that's never happened…oh and speaking of that family stuff Mr. Goode was watching your sister and looked like he was going to talk to her, but we distracted him for a bit," Alex says and moves to his things.
"What! When did this happen!?" I ask dropping the cloths that were in my hands when I turned to look at the twins.
"We kept him from her for an hour, but he said we had to come unpack so…yeah," Alex replies with a shrug like it was no big deal.
Once again, I thought about how this was going to be a long and tiering semester. "Let's finish unpacking then go see what' going on," I say and start to move quicker than before hoping that nothing major has happened yet.
'This is just the first day here and so much is happening…wait why did Mr. Goode even want to talk with Gilly?' I pause for a second when that thought passed through me head but shake it off as I finish unpacking.
Once we had finished unpacking, we head down as a group to the grand hall to eat. I keep my eyes out for my sister and parents. When I see Gilly, with the three girls and not our parents I let out a breath and move quickly to her side.
