Hello! Been awhile... heh don't kill me alright. It's been a wild ride these last few years and i'm finally getting back into writing. i'll be updating all my stories and proof reading the chapters cause ya girl doesn't have a beta. Anywho I hope this isn't really heckin choppy but i'm trying my best I promise.

ON WITH THE SHOW!

Raven's POV

The only way to describe how I slept is, like a freakin' rock. My normally cold room was toasty warm and all around really comfortable. Groggily I open my eyes only to come face to face with a teeshirt clad boy. I rolled over and closed my eyes again.

...

WAIT WHAT?! a Boy?

You climbed into bed with Garfield last night

Oh my goodness intelligence is right, I need to get out of here. Almost as if reading my thoughts the changeling next to be threw his arm over my waist. He pulled me tight to his chest and I could feel his breath on my neck. I would be lying if I said I hated the feeling. He seemed so quiet while he was asleep, usually his emotions were virtually bursting out of him even though he tried hard to keep them contained. But now while he's asleep all his emotions are a mere wisp of what they normally would be. There were the usually sleeping emotions but underneath that there was an underlying emotions connecting to whatever he is currently dreaming about. He seemed to be having a dream that made him completely at ease and content, it was nice to feel such tranquil emotions from someone. Without realizing it I had began to smile softly and I felt myself slowly drift in and out of consciousness.

So peaceful...

Raven we need to leave before the others go looking for us it is significantly later than we usually sleep in.

You're right, we can revel in the calm later

I force my eyes open and carefully remove Garfields arm from my waist. Which, mind you, is not an easy task without waking him up. I sit up slowly careful not to make any sound, quickly levitating above the ground. However when I left the bed the springs in the older bed squeaked and I saw Garfields ear twitch as he began to wake up. I quickly opened a portal to my bedroom. I looked back before entering the portal and saw Garfield had woken up, I awkwardly wave to him and disappear into the portal.

Wow that was amazingly awkward good going

As I appear in my room I take stock in the environment to ensure that no nosy *cough*Cyborg*cough* teammates came rummaging through my room looking for me. Everything appears to be the same as I left it, I go to my closet in order to find a change of clothes for the day. I really wish I had stayed in bed this morning, it was so mind numbingly calm. But alas criminals never sleep. I slip on some dark wash skinny jeans and a purple tank top, on top of that I put on a black corset (yes I know not very practical but seriously I have powers that can make my suit appear within a matter of minutes, practical is relative). Next I try to find some socks that match but come up empty, sighing I grab two random socks and put them on, sliding my dark purple converse on over them. Now comes the hard part...

My hair.

It was so much easier when my hair was shorter but since the Trigon incident i've grown it out. Making it, it's own monster in the morning.

Or the middle of the afternoon.

Or at night.

Or in the middle of a fight.

Really at any point my hair knots itself into a hot mess. More than once i've thought of cutting all of it off, shorter than it used to be to get rid of the hassle of combing and possibly styling of my hair. After what seems like forever my hair is combed and I quickly throw it up into a pony tail to keep it contained. After stalling for as long as possible I know I can't anymore.

Time to see if they suspect anything.

And if Garfield will keep his mouth shut.

Oof I'm sorry dudes this chapter is kinda boring, it seems with this story the chapters are smaller than usual. In an attempt to keep you guys entertained the chapters are shorter. It's been awhile since I've updated ANY story so I'm trying to get reacquainted with each story and my ideas behind them. Sorry again peoples they'll get better soon hopefully.
