Chapter 1
"Night wake up"!
a 15 year old Night groaned as she sat up yawning running a hand through her black and ginger hair."I'll be there soon dad"! she yelled.
Night got up and changed to a white blouse, dark jeans, black and silver boots, and snowflake earrings she then walked down the stairs to the dinning room to see a young women laying out food on the table."Morning Aunt Orihime", Night said.
"Good morning Night slept well", Orihime said.
"Yeah I guess but I would appriciate it if dad didnt always yell me awake", Night yawned.
Orihime giggled as she layed out the food then hands blocked Night's eyes.
"Guess who"?
Night giggled as she holded the hands."I would have to say... You dad", she said happily.
There was laughter as the hands were removed and Ichigo walked in front of his daughter ruffling her hair."Hey little snowflake oh and happy birthday", he smiled holding out a wrapped gift.
Night grew wide eyed in surprised and shock she had forgotten that today was her birthday she then smiled and hugged Ichigo. "Thanks dad", she said.
She took the gift and unwrapped it and gasp inside was a silver bracelet with a snowflake and crecsent moon charms Night hugged Ichigo happily. "Oh dad i love it thank you", she said.
"Oh Night mind going upstairs to wake up Hikari and Akiro"? Orihime asked.
"Sure Aunt Orihime", Night said.
She walked back upstairs and walked in a room and walked to a bed that had a lump on it."Akio wake up its morning", she said shaking the lump.
There was a groan as Uryu and Orihime's son Akiro getting up yawning he had gotten his father's black hair and pale skin but has his mother's warm brown eyes he groaned and sat up stretching. "Morning Night and happy birthday", he said yawning.
Night smiled and nodded. "Thanks Akiro now get dressed its time for breakfast", she said.
"Yeah I'll be there don't worry", Akiro said.
Night nodded as she left the room and went in another to see a 14 year old girl sitting up in bed yawning she had long orange hair like her mother but had bright blue eyes like her father. "Morning Hikari", Night said.
"Oh good morning Night and happy birthday", Hikari said smiling.
"Thanks Hikari so you better get ready cause breakfast is ready", Night said.
"Ok I'll be down soon", Hikari said.
Night nodded as she left the room and walked downstairs to see Uryu wearing a white shirt, gray pants, and a gray jacket. "Oh hey Uncle Uryu", Night said.
"Hey Night happy birthday here got you a gift", Uryu said holding out a wrapped gift.
"Oh thanks Uncle Uryu", Night smiled.
She took the gift and unwrapped she then gasped."Yes! The book Ive been dying to read thanks Uncle Uryu", Night said happily.
"Morning everyone".
They turned to see Akio and Hikari coming down the stairs Akio wore a gray shirt with white pants while Hikari wore a white blouse and light blue skirt each of them holding a gift. "Here you go Night our gifts to you", Hikari smiled.
"Thanks Hikari", Night smiled taking the gift.
She opened it to see it was a bracelet Hikari made herself Night smiled and hugged her. "Thanks I really like it", she said.
"Heres mine", Akio said.
Night took it and opened it to see it was a new kendo sword. "Awesome my old one was getting worn out thanks Akio", she said.
She went upstairs to her room to put the stuff away she then looked at her side drawer to see a picture of her and her father when she was 7 she took the picture in her hands and frowned seeing a slight blur next to Ichigo in the picture but was surprised to see it was a little clearer then began rubbing her eyes. "My vision must be acting up again", she thought.
"Night your friends are here"! Ichigo called down.
"Oh shoot. I'll be down soon"! She yelled.
"I'll talk with dad about it when he gets back home from work".
Night quickly went downstairs to see her friends Fuji Asano, Mika Honsho, Kaede Asano, and Katsuro Kojima and each of them were holding gifts. "Hey Night happy birthday", Mika smiled.
"Hey everyone. And am I the only one that forgot my birthday"? Night joked.
They all laughed as Fuji then grabbed Night putting her in a headlock. "Well your always so busy we wouldn't be surprised", she grinned.
"Yeah I get it now get off of me Fuji", Night said.
Fuji smiled as she let go of Night as she rubbed her neck. "You have got to stop acting like your mom Fuji its going to be the death of us", Katsuro said.
"Shut up Katsuro! I act how I act", Fuji said.
"And Im still shocked that Im related to her", Kaede sighed.
"You and me both", Mika said.
"Ok guys now leave the presents here and lets get going", Night said.
"Going out again"? Uryu asked.
"yeah and don't worry we'll be back before dark Akio lets go", she said.
They all walked out of the house walking down the sidewalk. "So is Roy meeting up with us at the library"? Night asked.
"I called him when we walked over to your house he's already waiting for us", Katsuro said.
"Great lets get going".
Ever since she was 10 Night had always wanted to know about her mother but whenever she tried to talk about it to her father, her 'uncles', aunt Orihime, or anyone else that was part of her family they would always change the subject so she got everyone to help her find out about her mother. When they reached to the library they saw a boy around 15 he had long wavy brown hair in a low ponytail, light brown skin, wearing a button up white shirt, light jeans, and sneakers. "Hey Roy", Night smiled.
"Hey guys", he said.
"Alright everyone lets get started on our search"!
"Yeah"!
They all walked in the library determined as a few hours past Night was looking at the yearbook pictures from when her father was in school she then looked and rubbed her eyes. "Hey you ok Night"? Akio asked.
"Its my vision again".
When they were children Night and Akio had been having odd vision thinking they were seeing something but never told their parents about. "What is it"? he asked.
"Well look at this", she said.
Night showed him a picture of their parents with their friends. "Look at the empty spot that's next to your mom", she said.
Akio did and grew wide eyed to see some type of image yet was a little unclear. "I see it yet I cant", he said.
"Yeah... Remember the stories dad, Uncle Uryu, Aunt Orihime, and Uncle Chad tell us about the Hollows and the soul Society and all that stuff", she said.
"Yeah", Akio nodded.
"Well maybe... My mom is a soul reaper".
"Thanks again for the help you guys".
Night waved goodbye to her friends it was sundown and it was time for them all to leave Night and Akio walked home both silent until Akio spoke up. "How are you going to talk with Ichigo about this"? he asked.
Night didn't say anything until she sighed. "I don't know I mean Im not even positive if mom is a soul reaper", she said.
"So what are you going to do"? Akio asked.
Night stopped for a moment lightly touching her earrings and shrugged. "I have non idea", she said.
*MEOW*
They gasped and turned to see a black cat looking at them. "Oh its just a stray", Akio sighed.
Night looked at the cat for a moment she slowly walked to it and it ran away with Night following. "Night! Wait"! Akio called out to her.
Night followed the cat quickly as the cat ran faster. "Damn that's one fast cat", she thought.
She jumped over some boxes as she chased the cat she didn't know why but there was something about the cat that she needed to known the cat then turned at a corner she turned and gasped to see it gone. "But I know I saw it make a turn here", she thought.
"Night"!
She turned to see Akio running to her. "What the hell Night"?! he questioned.
"Sorry Akio just there was something about that cat I don't know", she said.
"Well its gone now lets hurry home before Ichigo gets angry on us", he said.
Night nodded as she followed Akio home unknown to them the cat was watching them leave then it disappeared.
