Ichigo: So let the story begin.
Chapter 5
Night groaned as she opened her eyes and looked up to see Rukia and realized her head was on Rukia's lap her mother stroking her cheek. "Mom", she whispered.
"Hey you ok"? Rukia asked worried.
"Yeah I'm fine just got a headache", Night assured holding Rukia's hand.
"That's good to hear I got a little worried when you just suddenly fell asleep like that", Rukia smiled.
"Heh sorry about that when my emotions go all berserk like that it takes up most of my energy", Night said lightly chuckling with a faint blush on her face.
"Well with that spirit pressure you emanated I wouldn't be surprised", Rukia said.
"Spirit pressure"? Night questioned curiously.
"The energy you were emanated just moments ago spirits and other living beings emanate it and let me just say yours was very powerful almost close to being a captains", Rukia smiled as she ruffled Night's hair.
"Really that strong"? Night asked surprised.
"Yeah just like seeing Ichigo back in the old days".
Night sat up and looked to see Renji and Isao walking in the room. "Renji and Isao so you two were at the door makes sense", Rukia said.
"Wait dad... OH CRAP"! Night yelled in distressed.
They all jumped as Night tried to get out of the bed. "Night please calm down", Rukia said.
"I cant! Dads probably freaking out on where I am! Plus Uncle Uryu, Aunt Orihime. Shit Hikari and Akiro"! Night screeched in worry.
"Hey calm down Snowdrop its alright", Renji said in assurance.
"Its not alright! Wait a minute. Who are you calling Snowdrop"?! Night growled.
"Night calm down this is Renji Abari lieutenant of Division 6 and my best friend while this is his son Isao", Rukia explained gently.
"Your best friend? Wait lieutenant"?! Night said shocked.
"That's right but if you want you can call me Uncle Renji", Renji smirked.
"Dad she hardly knows you so don't say crazy stuff like that", Isao sighed.
"I agree with him on that", Miyako said walking in.
"By the way Lieutenant Kurosaki are you really going to take Night to see Head Captain Yamamoto"?
"Its not like I have a choice its a direct order from the Head Captain himself", Rukia sighed.
"Wait who do I need to see"? Night asked confused.
"Huh? You didn't tell her"? Renji asked Rukia.
"I never really got to it", Rukia said.
"Mom whats going on? Who needs to see me"? Night asked worried.
"The one who wants to see you is Head Captain Genryo Yamamoto Captain of Division 1, one of the founders of the Soul Society, and head of the 13 Divisions", Isao explained.
"EHH"?! Night said shocked.
"Way to out it gently Isao", Renji groaned.
"Mom... I cant do this I mean the founder of the Soul Society? I rather fight with an army of Hollows", Night said nervously.
"Oh come on Night this will be a walk in the park for you you're after all Night Snow Kurosaki both mine and Ichigo's daughter you can handle it", Rukia smiled in assurance.
Night looked at Rukia then taking a deep breath she nodded fixing her kimono and got out of the bed. "Ok Im ready we can go now", Night said smiling slightly.
"Are you sure? Don't you want to rest more"? Miyako asked worried.
"I appreciate the concern Miyako really but I'll be fine", Night assured grabbing her zanpakuto.
"Yup just like her dad a real chip off the old block", Renji grinned.
"Alright lets get going", Rukia said.
Night nodded as they all walked out of the 13 barracks Night looked around admiring the society. "Wow this place is so amazing", she said.
"Yeah way better then that small town Karakura Town", Isao said.
"Your making fun of my hometown", Night said.
"And if I am"? Isao asked.
"If you are I'll strike you down like I did with the Hollow I defeated last night", Night smiled reaching for her zanpakuto.
"Oh really? Bring it then", Isao smirked gripping his zanpakuto.
"Guys we cant fight"! Miyako said distressed.
"Just like their fathers huh Renji", Rukia smirked.
Renji laughed nervously while Miyako tried to stop Night and Isao from fighting after doing so they walked to the barracks of Division 1 Night gaped at the size. "Come on Night lets go", Rukia said.
"Yeah lets go Snowdrop", Renji smiled.
"Stop calling me Snowdrop"! Night hissed.
Renji only chuckled, Rukia and Miyako giggled, and Isao snickered Night only scoffed as they went inside walking down the halls to a large door. "Lieutenant Kurosaki reporting with my daughter Night", Rukia said.
"Enter", an elderly voice called out.
Rukia opened the door and when they walked in they all gasped to see all the captains of the 13 Divisions there as well. "All of the captains", Miyako said shocked.
"Mom you didn't say all of these people would be here too", Night hissed.
"Because I didn't know they would be here", Rukia said.
"Head Captain you said you would be the only one speaking with Night. Why are the captains here"?
"The reason for that Lieutenant Kurosaki is that after sensing that enormous spirit energy I thought it would be best if all the captains would come", Yamamoto said.
Rukia was about to say something but then Night took a hold of her arm Rukia looked at Night who gave her an assuring smile then Night walked forward. "Hello my name is Night Snow Kurosaki and its an honor to meet you all especially you Head Captain Yamamoto", Night said and bowed.
"Not bad", Isao thought.
"Wow shes good", Miyako thought surprised.
"Uryu taught her that", Rukia and Renji thought sweat dropping.
"Glad to see you have manners now tell me young Night. Did you ever had any clue of your heritage of being a soul reaper"? Yamamoto questioned.
"No sir it my father and others wouldn't tell me at all true they told me of the Soul Society and Hollows but when it comes to dad and mom being Soul Reapers it was kept a secret to me", Night explained.
"I see and how did you obtain your powers"? Yamamoto asked.
"Well I'll be honest here I have no clue really all I know is that after the Hollow from last night attacked me I started glowing then just before it was about to kill mom I just got my powers sliced down the Hollow and fainted from my wound then woke up here in the Society", Night explained.
"So Lieutenant Kurosaki and Lieutenant Abari didn't give you your powers"? Yamamoto questioned.
"No they didn't sir these powers are all mine", Night said.
"And that spirit energy that was yours then"? Yamamoto asked.
"Yes sir it was mine I didn't mean to let it all out so Im sorry", Night said bowing again.
"Man never thought a kid of Ichigo would be this polite its a miracle", Shinji chuckled.
"Yeah most people think since Im dad's daughter I might cause fights and stuff like he did", Night shrugged.
Renji covered his mouth to try to hold in his laughter but Shinji let out his laughter freely. "Oh come on you mean to say you didn't had at least one fight in your life"? he asked.
"Well"-
"Don't even think of rotting this one Hirako we finally have a worthy and well mannered subordinate I would appreciate it if you wouldn't ruin that", Byakuya said.
"Oh you want to fight Kuchiki"? Shinji growled.
"Captain Hirako control yourself that is an order", Yamamoto said.
Night slightly sweat dropped and then cleared her throat. "Um excuse me Head Captain", she said.
"Ah yes now Night I shall discuss with the other captains of the final decision in the mean time you are not to leave the Soul Society Lieutenants Kurosaki and Abari you are to watch Night. Understood"? Yamamoto said.
"Understood Head Captain", Rukia and Renji nodded.
"Alright then you are all dismissed".
They all nodded and walked out of the room once they were out of the barracks Night sighed in relieve. "Thank god that's over man that was nerve wrecking", she said.
"I cant blame you I was shocked though to see the Captains there", Miyako said.
"Yeah plus they did brought some tension in the air", Renji said.
"So do you have any idea what they'll decide on dad"? Isao asked as they walked.
"Have no clue this is all on the captains so anything could happen but since Night didn't did anything wrong so I know they wont do anything drastic especially our captain", Renji said.
"Which one was your captain"? Night asked.
"Captain Byakuya Kuchiki he was the one that spoke up the one with black hair", Isao said.
"Oh I remember now Im surprised he spoke up", Night said.
"Yes same here", Rukia said slightly worried.
"Oh come on Rukia cut the captain some slack it looked like he liked Night", Renji said.
"I guess", Rukia sighed.
"Hey mom do you know Captain Kuchiki"? Night asked Rukia curiously.
And to Night's surprised Rukia began chuckling nervously while Isao, Miyako and Renji laughed." What? Whats so funny"? Night asked confused.
"Night... You see Captain Kuchiki well he's my brother", Rukia said nervously.
"What?! You mean that was my uncle back there"?! Night asked shocked.
"Yes before I married Ichigo my last name was Kuchiki", Rukia said sheepishly.
"How many more surprises are there for me"? Night asked groaning.
"Oh come on it isn't that bad that means you get more happy surprises", Miyako smiled.
Night looked at her mother who looked back at her and gave her a small smile and Night couldn't help but smile back.
