Night: Can we please talk about the people who are complaining about my name? Its getting annoying.
Aurasoul: Yeah folks enough is enough this me changing Night's name thing is getting old keep your complaints to yourself! Yeesh now disclaimer.
Rukia: I'll do it. Aurasoul doesn't own Bleach only her OCs while Asami is owned by Durbe the Barian.
Aurasoul: Thanks now lets get to it with the story.
Chapter 10
"So Night what do you want to do start on first"?
"Hmm"...
After a while Rukia decided to start training Night but first figure out where to begin. "Well I was wondering if we start on my zanpakuto", Night said.
"Your zanpakuto"? Rukia asked.
"Yeah cause um you see I've been sorta talking with my zanpakuto", Night said.
"Since when"? Ichigo asked her surprised.
"A while after I woke up in the Soul Society when Miyako-chan, a member of Division 13, had to leave my room to get gauzes for my injuries, dad it wasn't serious so don't give me that look, I touched my zanpakuto and I heard a voice in my head", Night explained.
"The voice of your zanpakuto"? Rukia asked shocked.
"That's what she said", Night nodded.
"She"? Ichigo asked confused.
"Yeah her voice sounded female really cheerful sometimes too", Night said.
"I see hmm... Night do you want to meet your Zanpakuto spirit face to face"? Rukia asked.
"Really I can do that"?! Night asked shocked.
"Yes through Jinzen", Rukia said.
"Jinzen? Whats that"? Night asked.
"Its a type of meditation which allows the Soul Reaper to speak with their Zanpakuto in their Inner World", Rukia explained.
"Inner World? Ok I'm lost", Night said confused.
"The Inner World is where the Zanpakuto lives how it looks depends on the Soul Reaper and his/hers personality", Rukia explained.
"For example my Inner World was a place with tall skyscrapers my Zanpakuto Zangetsu complained there weren't any trees", Ichigo chuckled.
"Zangetsu? That means Slaying Moon right"? Night asked.
"Right you know your name came from Zangetsu", Ichigo smiled.
"Seriously"? Night asked surprised.
"Yeah your name Night came from Zangestu while your middle name Snow came from Rukia's Zanpakuto Sode no Shira Yuki", Ichigo explained.
"Sleeved white snow", Night translated.
"Yes it was really Ichigo's idea to give you those names", Rukia smiled.
"As a reminder of the days when I was a Soul Reaper", Ichigo said with a half smile.
Night was surprised but then had a small smile. "Now Night you need to know some important things about your Zanpakuto", Rukia said.
"Im all ears", Night said.
"Alright now the Zanpakuto is an important weapon to a Soul Reaper while the Soul Reaper is important to the Zanpakuto we work together as one as partners", Rukia explained.
"She's right if the Soul Reaper dies so does the Zanpakuto", Ichigo nodded.
"Woah", Night whispered.
"Each Zanpakuto is different it reflects the Soul Reaper's power and soul and become beings themselves and by learning your Zanpakuto's name that will empower the sword and lend it's strength to the Soul Reaper wielding it", Rukia explained.
"So no Zanpakuto is ever alike"? Night asked.
"That's right", Rukia nodded.
Night then thought for a moment. "Hey mom, dad what were your Zanpakutos like? Spirit wise", she said.
Ichigo and Rukia both looked surprised but they then smiled. "Well Sode no Shira Yuki looks of a beautiful women with long pale lavender hair, icy blue eyes, and wears a white kimono", Rukia said.
"Well no wonder her name is Sode no Shira Yuki", Night smiled.
"What about Zangetsu, dad"?
"Zangetsu looked like a guy around middle aged with pale skin now as pale as Sode no Shira Yuki, long ragged black hair, white dress shirt, black trench coat, black pants, and wore these sunglasses too he was practically like my teacher and he always had this mysterious personality around him", Ichigo said.
"Like a new moon", Night joked with a giggle.
Ichigo and Rukia chuckled at the joke then Rukia got up. "Alright Night time to get started", Rukia said.
"Ok so where should we do the Jinzen"? Night asked.
Rukia thought for a moment. "Well since this is meditating you can just sit on the floor if you want", Rukia said.
"Ok I'll go get my badge", Night said rushing off to her room.
Night quickly grabbed her badge and hurried back down then slammed it on her chest Ichigo gasped catching Night's empty body. "Geez Night give a warning next time", Ichigo sighed.
Night and Rukia giggled and Nigth then sat on the floor cross legged. "Alright now place your Zanpakuto on your lap", Rukia instructed.
Night nodded getting out her Zanpakuto and carefully placing it on her lap. "Now close your eyes and empty your mind", Rukia instructed.
Night nodded again taking a deep breath and closed her eyes her breathing soft and even. "Clear my mind", she thought.
Night was like that for a moment feeling as if time had stilled.
"Great you're finally here"!
Night gasped opening her eyes and squeaked she wasn't in her living room anymore she was what looked like outside night time the crescent moon shining above her she saw fresh snow on the floor and then saw cherry blossom petals she looked to see cherry blossom trees. "It's like I'm in some beautiful forest", Night thought.
"Even with cherry blossoms my favorite".
"Beautiful isn't it"?
Night grew wide eyed hearing a familiar voice she turned and gasped in front of her was a beautiful women with midnight black hair, ice blue eyes, she wore a gray-silver kimono with black ribbons tied around her waist and shoulders forming multiple loops, a cherry blossom tucked behind her ear, and a white crescent moon mark on her pale cheek. "I'm so happy to meet you face to face Night", the women said happily.
Night looked at the women skeptical. "Are you... The spirit to my Zanpakuto"? She asked.
"Yes that's right", the women nodded.
Night gaped never had she thought her zanpakuto spirit would be such a beautiful women. "Night are you ok"? The Zanpakuto asked worried.
Night blinked and felt embarrassed. "Sorry I was just surprised someone like you is the spirit to my zanpakuto", she said.
"Someone like me"? The Zanpakuto questioned confused.
"Someone so stunning I mean considering how average I am", Night chuckled.
The Zanpakuto gasped and quickly shook her head. "Oh don't be silly! You're just as lovely Night", she said.
"The cherry blossoms prove it".
"The cherry blossoms? Ok now Im confused", Night sighed.
Her Zanpakuto spirit giggled then walked to Night taking her hand. "Come on lets have a walk and I'll tell you all about this world", she smiled.
Night looked at her surprised but then smiled and nodded. "Ok lets go".
Rukia was sitting on the couch watching Night while Ichigo sat next to her having Night's body on the couch her head on his lap looking at the same spot Rukia was looking he might not be able to see Night but he knew she was there. "How's she doing"? He asked.
"So far no injuries on her", Rukia said.
"So you think she's talking with her zanpakuto"? He asked.
"That's probably the case yes usually they would be fighting now but who knows", Rukia sighed.
Ichigo chuckled and rubbed Rukia's back. "Don't worry Night is a strong girl theres nothing to worry about", he assured.
Rukia nodded as she laid her head on Ichigo's shoulder. "Maybe you're right Night is strong plus likeable she'll be fine", she nodded.
Ichigo smiled and wrapped his arm around Rukia's waist resting his head on hers both silent and content then they jumped to hear the door opening much to their surprised.
"Ichigo we're back a bit early"!
"Orihime"! Rukia gasped softly.
Rukia didn't knew what to do considering she hadn't seen Orihime and Uryu for years not sure how to react then Ichigo held her close. "Don't worry its going to be ok", he whispered.
Rukia looked at Ichigo and nodded clasping his hand nervously as Uryu walked in. "Orihime insisted we come back since with Night you"-!
Uryu stopped and gasped in shock to see Rukia who gave a nervous smile. "Hey Uryu", she said softly.
"R-Rukia", Uryu said speechless.
"Uryu is everything ok"?
Orihime walked in and then gasped to see Rukia there. "H-Hey Orihime good to see you", Rukia said nervously.
"R-R-Rukia"!
Orihime ran and hugged Rukia tightly practically pushing Ichigo away as Orihime cried. "Oh Rukia I missed you so much"! Orihime cried.
Rukia grew wide eyed but then softly smiled as she hugged back. "Yeah I missed you too Orihime", she said.
"Mom whats going on"!?
Akiro and Hikari rushed in the living room and were shocked to see their mother hugging an unknown women crying, their father speechless yet had a smile, Ichigo chuckling patting Orihime's back in comfort, and two Nights one cross legged wearing Soul Reaper attire with a sword on her lap her eyes closed while the other her eyes closed on the couch her head on Ichigo's lap. "Uh Akiro you know whats going on"? Hikari asked her brother dumbfounded.
"For once I don't", Akiro said to his sister also dumbfounded.
Aurasoul: Finally done!
Night: Wow about time too. So I'm going to learn the name of my Zanpakuto on the next chapter right?
Aurasoul: Yup while also getting to have a little spar with Rukia! So until then.
