Chapter 11
"So that's what happened".
Rukia had explained to Uryu and Orihime about what had happened while introducing herself to Hikari and Akiro the two were sitting in front of Night as she was still in Jinzen. "So Night is a Substitute Soul Reaper like Ichigo was"? Orihime asked.
"Yeah and right and now she's speaking with her zanpakuto", Rukia said.
"To learn her zanpakuto's name"? Uryu guessed.
"She wanted to see the spirit of her zanpakuto in a way this is like killing two birds with one stone", Rukia shrugged.
"How long is she going to be like this"? Orihime asked.
"I guess until she finish speaking with her zanpakuto", Rukia said.
"Night! Can you hear me"!? Hikari called out.
"Give it up Hikair once a Soul Reaper is in Jinzen they're completely blocked from the outside world until they wake up", Ichigo said.
"Seriously? Nothing at all we do can wake her up"? Akiro asked shocked.
"That's right", Rukia nodded.
"How long has she been like this"? Orihime asked.
"By the looks of things almost an hour", Ichigo said looking at the clock.
"I wonder whats going on in there", Uryu said thoughtfully.
"Ok so let me make sure I get it right".
Night and her zanpakuto were sitting down under a cherry blossom tree in an amazing grove. "So this world represents myself similar of the clear night, the cherry blossoms represent my beauty inside and out, and it snows when I'm happy yet rains when I'm sad"? Night asked.
"Yup you got it all right", her zanpakuto smiled.
Night whistled as she leaned back on the tree. "Wow that's really something", she said.
"That's being you Night inside and out", her zanpakuto said.
"Mmm yeah... Say through all this I never got to know your name", Night remarked.
The zanpakuto grew wide eyed but then smiled taking Night's hands. "I'll gladly tell you my name and by knowing my name we'll be working together. Right"? She asked.
"Of course you're my zanpakuto and a Soul Reaper always needs her zanpakuto", Night smiled holding her zanpakuto's hands.
Her zanpakuto laughed happily and hugged Night. "Alright then my name is"...
Orihime and Rukia were in the kitchen making dinner (A/N: Don't worry Orihime's cooking skills improved and doesn't add anything weird to it) and catching up, Ichigo and Uryu were doing paperwork for the hospital, Akiro was sitting on the couch reading, and Hikari sat in front of Night watching her. "Aunt Rukia do you think Night's done yet"? Hikari asked deciding for now on to call Rukia, Aunt Rukia.
"I don't know Hikari it always takes time different for every Soul Reaper", Rukia said surprised that Hikari had decided to call her that.
"Hikari don't worry I bet Night's fine", Akiro said looking up from his book to face his sister.
"I guess but"-!
Everyone except Ichigo gasped feeling a great spirit pressure Rukia and Orihime rushed out of the kitchen and Uryu out of his seat with Ichigo following as they all, except Ichigo, to see blue-white spirit energy circling around Night. "Whats going on"? Ichigo questioned.
"Night's spirit energy is greatly rising", Rukia gasped.
Then the color shifted to be silver-blue with hints of black as it surrounded Night like a cyclone with a great force that nearly everyone was fling back by it. "Its like seeing Ichigo as a Soul Reaper", Uryu said.
Then the cyclone disappeared to show Night standing wielding her zanpakuto but it had changed shape the blade long the same length as Ichigo's Zangetsu but more skinnier and with a pale blue line down from it, the tsuba(guard) was shaped almost like a crescent moon colored faint pink to look silver, the hilt dark gray that with a star like pattern, and a black ribbon on the pommel Night then looked at her zanpakuto with a caring smile.
"Miyuko Tsuki(Beautiful snow moon)".
"Wow so cool"! Hikari gasped.
Night gasped as Hikari hugged her. "Hikari?! Wait you're back from the hospital already"? Night asked surprised.
"Night you've been in Jinzen for a whole hour", Akiro said.
"Eh?! A hour"?! Night said shocked.
"Oh your back Night your zanpakuto looks amazing", Orihime said awed.
"Aunt Orihime! Uh thanks but wait shouldn't you be at the hospital though"? Night asked.
"Orihime insisted we get back early to check how you were doing", Uryu said with a smile.
"Oh I see, my zanpakuto changed. Is it suppose to do that"? Night asked.
"Yes once you learn the name of your zanpakuto then it will form its true shikai form", Rukia said.
"Shikai"? Night asked confused.
"The first release state of the zanpakuto but yours stays in its Shikai form because of your strong Spirit Energy", Rukia said.
"Do any other Soul Reapers have their Shikai form out all the time for their zanpakuto"? Night asked curiously.
"Only Captain Zaraki and Ichigo had as well so youre the third person", Rukia said.
"Well alright then", Night said.
'Hey it shows you're strong', Miyuki Tsuki said to her.
'So are you', Night thought to her.
"Wow so cool", Hikari said awed, looking at Night's zanpakuto.
"Who would've thought that all this time you were a Soul Reaper", Akiro said.
"Yeah its really incredible", Night nodded.
"Well then how about we do some training to test out your strength", Rukia smiled.
"Alright", Night nodded.
"Night against Rukia this should be interesting", Uryu smirked.
"Lets go to the backyard"! Hikari cheered.
"But first I better get out of my gigai", Rukia said.
"Want to use my badge"? Night asked.
"Might as well", Rukia nodded.
Rukia went to Night's body getting the badge and slammed it on her chest getting out of her gigai Orihime catching it. "Thanks Orihime alright Night lets go", Rukia said.
"Right mom", Night nodded.
The two then went to the backyard with the others following the backyard now had a small but nice garden on the side with a sakura tree growing at the center the others sat at the back while Rukia and Night stood in front of one another. "Ok Night since your zanpakuto is in Shikai mode I'll do the same", Rukia said.
"Wouldn't be a fair fight if you didn't", Night smiled.
Rukia smiled as she then unsheathed her zanpakuto holding it and began to twirl it. "Dance Sode no Shirayuki".
Night watched in awe as Rukia's zanpakuto transformed to the snow white color. "Wow so that's Sode no Shirayuki", she thought.
"Keep your guard up Night, Sode no Shirayuki is a zanpakuto not to be taken lightly", Miyuki warned.
'Got it', Night nodded getting ready.
"Ready when you are mom"!
"Alright here I come"!
Rukia ran to strike but Night was ready and swiftly countered Rukia who was surprised then jumped back. "I take it this isn't your first time holding a sword"? Rukia asked smiling.
Night grinned. "I take kendo classes and do a little other moves on my own", she said.
"Plus top in her class", Akiro added.
"I see well lets see how good you are", Rukia said.
Rukia ran to strike Night ran as well and they clashed Night felt herself backing by the force Rukia was adding but Night stood her ground. "Your strength is something", Rukia smiled.
"Heh being a Soul Reaper helps", Night grinned.
They then jumped and rushed to strike again Night swiftly dodged a strike from Rukia and tried to attack from the side but Rukia saw it and managed to block it then Night moved back. "Couldn't land a hit but then again mom is a lieutenant so of course it wont be easy", Night thought.
"Alright Night lets see if you can handle this", Rukia said.
Then Rukia held her zanpakuto upside down. "Some no mai Tsukishiro". (First dance, white moon)
The blade glowed and slashed past Night making her gasp as she then saw the glowing circle and quickly flashed stepped away just before the ice pillar had formed. "Holy shit"! Night gasped.
"Amazing"! Hikari gasped.
"That is one of Sode no Shirayuki's dances", Rukia said.
"Dances"? Night questioned.
"Yes you see Sode no Shirayuki's techniques revolve of dances, that was the first dance Some no mai, Tsukishiro", Rukia explained.
"Woah", Night said awed as she looked at the ice pillar.
"Each zanpakuto have their own technique even yours Night", Rukia said.
"Even Miyuki Tsuki"? Night said surprised.
"Yes I do too Night", Miyuki said.
"Its true but you need to learn it from your zanpakuto", Rukia said.
"My zanpakuto"? Night said surprised.
"Night listen".
Night turned to face Ichigo she knew he couldn't see or hear here yet she bet Orihime had told him what she and Ruki were talking about. "What Rukia means is she can teach you the basic stances but the only one who can truly teach you how to wield Miyuki Tsuki is Miyuki Tsuki herself", Ichigo said.
Night was surprised then had a thought. "So then I would have to go to my Inner World for Miyuki Tsuki to teach me", she said.
"Most do that yes but not all Soul Reapers it all depends on them and their zanpakuto", Rukia said.
Night slowly nodded having a thoughtful look Rukia smiled patting Night's shoulder. "Now before we get to anything lets see if you can slashed through that ice pillar", she said.
Night looked at Rukia but nodded she then turned to the ice pillar taking a deep breath and tightening her hold on her zanpakuto then flashed past it then the pillar was destroyed in sparkles everyone gasped. "Wow", Orihime said.
"Amazing", Akiro said impressed.
"Good work Night you're definitely getting strong", Rukia smiled.
"Thanks mom", Night grinned.
Uryu looked at the two with a small smile then turned to Ichigo with a frown seeing the sad smile on his face.
Aurasoul: There all done.
Night: You know you don't have to keep reminding on the fact dad doesn't have his Spirit Powers.
Aurasoul: I'm sorry but its necessary anyway next time Night here will be spending the day with her mom and a certain uncle of hers while another new character comes in so until then.
