Chapter 14
"Hado #33: Sokutsui"!
Blue energy hit the dummy and it was destroyed in pieces. "Yes! I actually got it"! Night grinned.
"Great work Night", Rukia smiled.
Night had continued with her training finally being able to get the hang of Kido as she then looked at her hand. "Is something wrong Night"? Rukia asked, seeing this.
"Um mom, each Kuchiki family member has a Yukimura bodyguard. That includes you right? What happened to that person"? Night asked.
Rukia was silent and Night looked to see Rukia having a sad and distant look. "Mom"? Night said.
"She... Died protecting me years ago", Rukia said softly.
Night grew wide eyed with a paled look as she clutched her hands tightly. "I'm going to do Jinzen", she said.
Night flashed stepped away surprising and worrying Rukia, Night stepped in her room closing the door with a sigh as she sat down on the floor cross legged with Miyuki Tsuki on her lap closed her eyes clearing her mind.
"Please calm down Night".
Night sighed as she opened her eyes and looked up to face Miyuki Tsuki. "I'm sorry I guess I'm getting a bit worked up", Night said.
Miyuki Tsuki frowned and sat next to Night. "Want to talk about it"? She asked.
"If I can I just want to relax", Night said.
"Alright", Miyuki Tsuki nodded.
Night gave a thankful smile as she leaned back on the tree she was sitting behind closing her eyes as she thought back. "The Yukimura family's main purpose is to protect the Kuchiki Family they would even give up their lives for them like with mom's guard", she thought.
'You are a Kuchiki and have a free life and for that I hate you'.
Katsumi's words rang in Night's head and she sighed. "I'm not even a fully breed Kuchiki but hating me for having a free life compared to hers... That's reasonable".
"Night".
Night opened her eyes to look up at Miyuki Tsuki. "Akiro-san is trying to wake you up you should see what he needs", Miyuki Tsuki said.
"Got it thanks", Night nodded.
Night closed her eyes taking a deep breath concentrating until opening her eyes to be in her room and looked up to see Akiro rubbing his temple. "You need something Akiro"? She asked.
Akiro jumped at Night's voice as she stood up holding Miyuki Tsuki. "You're finally awake Roy's here so the three of us can train together", he said.
"Oh ok sure", she said sheathing her zanpakuto.
The two walked back to the backyard to see Roy waiting. Hey Roy sorry for the wait", she said.
"Its fine", Roy assured.
"Alright lets get started", Akiro said.
His cross glowed forming his Ginro Kojaku bow while spirit energy surrounded Roy's right arm to form it as black with dark blue lightning bolt lines as Night unsheathed her zanpakuto they all jumped back and stance. "Now remember we cant use too much of our spirit energy in our training if we do dad and Ichigo will kill us", Akiro said, looking at Night.
Night noticed this and an angry mark appeared. "Oi Akiro don't assume its me she who's going to overdo it", she said annoyed
Akiro smirked as Roy chuckled Night scoffed at them yet smiled at her childhood friends.
"Hey guys"!
They looked up to see Hikari running to them. "What's up Hikari"? Night asked.
"I want to train too", Hikari said smiling, surprising them.
"Hikari you know your powers are best for shielding and healing", Akiro sighed at his little sister.
"Hey I can go offensive too! Plus I can practice healing and shielding for you guys", Hikari insisted, showing her bracelet that had two flower charms identical to Orihime's hairpins but colored silver and blue like a quincy cross that held her spirits.
"Say I always wanted to know. Where did Uncle Uryu got those charms anyway? No one ever told me", Night said curious.
"Huh? Oh! We can tell her right Nii-san"? Hikari asked Akiro.
"Pretty much since she's now involved and everything", Akiro said.
"Oh very funny", Night said sarcastically.
"Well anyway dad realized that Hikari's powers were more like mom's then a Quincy like me so he went to see this guy named Kisuke Urahara to make the charms that looked identical to mom's except for the coloring for the Quincy Cross then told Hikari she had to focus her Spirit Energy in them and well you get the rest", Akiro explained.
"Wait Urahara"? Night asked surprised.
"You know him"? Roy asked.
"No but I did met someone in the Soul Society that had the same last name Urahara", Night said.
"Well probably someone related to Urahara-san since he runs a Soul Reaper shop", Akiro said.
"Really? Then lets go check it out I like to meet this guy", Night said.
"Yeah! Lets go", Hikari smiled.
"I thought we were training", Roy said
"We should be training", Akiro sighed.
"Oh we'll make it quick lets go", Night grinned.
"So this is the place"?
Night was in her body as the four of them were in front of the shop. "Yeah this is the place", Akiro nodded.
"Then lets go in", Roy nodded.
"Yeah"! Hikari chirped.
They walked in the shop looking around then they saw a guy that looked around 20 with slicked red hair walking in the shop from the back. "Um hi we're here to see Kisuke Urahara", Night said.
The guy looked suspiciously. "Relax Jinta this is Night, Ichigo's kid", Akiro said.
Jinta grew wide eyed in surprised but then scoffed. "Fine come on", he said.
They followed Jinta to the back walking to a room as they walked in. "I'll get Mr. Urahara", Jinta said, walking out closing the door behind them.
"Akiro one how did you know him? And two why did you mention dad"? Night questioned.
"Mom comes here to buy some stuff from Kisuke to ward off Hollows and Kisuke actually knows our parents and Chad too", Akiro said.
"Seriously"? Night said surprised.
"Padre mentioned him to me", Roy said.
"He said that Urahara-san had helped our parents train with their powers with another person too".
"Another person"? Night asked confused.
"That would be me".
They all jumped and looked to see a black cat appearing walking to them. "Where did this cat come from"? Akiro questioned.
"I know that cat"! Night gasped.
"You do Night"? Hikari asked.
"On my birthday remember Akiro? We were walking home from the library and I saw this cat at the alley I chased after it but it disappeared", Night said.
"Glad to see you remember me Night", the cat smiled.
"Yeah sure", Night answered.
Then they all blinked and looked at the cat. "Did that cat just... Talked"? Hikari squeaked.
"Why yes I did", the cat said.
"Woah"! Hikari gaped.
"How in the world"?! Akiro questioned.
"I feel like I'm back in the Soul Society again", Night groaned.
"Oh so I take it you met my daughter Minori", the cat said.
"Wait your daughter"? Night said confused.
"That's right my name is Yoruichi Urahara, Minoru's mother", the cat Yoruichi said.
"Mom? But aren't you a guy"? Roy asked.
"Oh right the voice always give people the wrong idea its best I change back", Yoruichi said.
"Huh"? They all said.
Then Yoruichi's eyes glowed as smoke surrounded her and they gasped moving back as they saw the physical changes of paws turning to hands and feet, body becoming human, and face too and they all gaped to be now faced with a purple haired, golden eyed women. "Holy", Night gaped.
"H-how in the"?! Akiro gaped.
"Hahaha! Just seeing the reactions are so amusing, when people hear my voice they always assume I was a man which of course isn't the case", Yoruichi laughed.
They were all speechless unable to speak until they then noticed Yoruichi's body and all blushed. "WOULD YOU PLEASE PUT SOME CLOTHES ON"! Night yelled, covering Roy's eyes Hikari covering Akiro's eyes.
Yoruichi looked surprised but then laughed again as she went to the closet in the room getting out clothes. "Sorry when being in cat form I can really phase with my clothes", Yoruichi chuckled.
"But you're really your father's daughter Night all old fashion".
"Just please put on your clothes"! Night groaned.
"So you knew my dad"?
Yoruichi smiled as she finished putting on her clothes letting the girls uncover the boys' eyes. "Yes and let me tell you Night you have an amazing father", she said.
Night softly smiled and nodded with some pride. "So what brings you guys here"? Yoruichi asked.
"Oh well we came to meet Urahara", Night said.
"Ah curious about Kisuke hmm"? Yoruichi asked.
"Since he knew my dad and all yeah", Night nodded.
"Well this is a surprise".
They all turned to see a blond man with a hat and clogs wearing comfortable clothes. "Who'd thought I be meeting you kids", he said.
"Wait are you Kisuke Urahara"? Night asked.
"That I am and I already know you four are Night Kurosaki, Akiro and Hikari Ishida, and Roy Sado", he smiled.
"And I see you already met my wife Yoruichi".
"Hey", Yoruichi smiled with a wave.
"Well its nice to meet you both", Night nodded to them.
"Huh well at least she has manners unlike Ichigo", Yoruichi said.
"And seemingly less violent", Kisuke said.
"Oh you don't know her well enough", Akiro said.
"Yeah sometimes Night gets into fights", Roy said.
"Oh shut up"! Night growled at them before turning to Kisuke.
"So since you run a Soul Reaper shop does that mean you're a soul reaper"?
"Former Soul Reaper its a long story but to make it short I left the Soul Society and began running this shop", Urahara said.
"Huh so you also helped my dad with his Soul Reaper training too like mom right"? Night asked.
"That's right I helped him reach to his power and taught him a few stances for to wield his zanpakuto but not all since"-
"His zanpakuto taught him how to properly use it", Night said for him.
Urahara smiled at Night. "So I take it you've done some training with your zanpakuto too", he said.
"Yes my zanpakuto's name is Miyuki Tsuki she taught me a lot", Night smiled.
"I see", he said.
"Then how about we see how well she taught you".
"Wait you mean me against you"? Night asked surprised.
Yes I want to see how well your trainings been", he said.
"I like to see that myself", Yoruichi said.
"Well I guess it would hurt", Night shrugged.
"Splendid! Come right this way", Urahara said.
"I have a feeling of regret now", Night whispered, as they walked out the room.
"Too late for that", Akiro whispered back.
They all followed Urahara and Yoruichi until reaching a large empty much of their shock. "Holy crap look at this place"! Night gasped.
"You would never expect to find a place like this under a shop", Akiro said impressed.
"I made this years ago to help with Ichigo's training here will be perfect to see how good you are", Urahara said.
"Wow", Night nodded.
Night then got her badge and slammed it on her chest getting out of her body and Ryo caught it as Night withdrew her zanpakuto and Urahara withdrew his. "Huh? So the cane is your zanpakuto"? Night asked.
"That's right named Benihime like I told you I was a former Soul Reaper", Urahara said.
"True", Night nodded.
"So then lets get started Night, awaken Benihime", Urahara said.
Night grew wide eyed seeing it glow red as it changed shape. "Its Shikai now", she thought.
Urahara then swung his zanpakuto Night gasped quickly getting out of the way to see the slash able it to destroy a boulder. "Holy", Night gasped as she landed.
"Don't think I'll go easy on you cause your Ichigo's kid if you're not careful I might really hurt you", Urahara said.
Night bit her lip and nodded. 'Ready Miyuki Tsuki'?
'Of course'.
Night then ran to strike Urahara raised his zanpakuto to block making their blades clash. "You definitely have strength lets see how far it takes you", Urahara said, getting back.
Night looked at Urahara confused then gasped seeing Benihime glow red.
"Nake (sing) Benihime"!
Urahara then launched out a red energy slash straight at Night. "No time to dodge"! She thought.
Night then raised her blade and blocked the attack sliding back as she was pushed back by the attack. "You can do it Night"! Hikari yelled.
"RRAHH"!
Night then redirected the attack to the right causing it to hit a boulder demolishing it. "Not bad manage to redirect my attack", Urahara smiled.
"Well you better be impressed with it then", Night smirked.
"Heh has Ichigo's bluntness", Yoruichi remarked, as they watched.
"Yeah you have no idea how much trouble she gets with it from school", Akiro said.
"Oh yeah", Hikari said, Roy nodding in agreement.
Yoruichi laughed. "Ichigo really has rubbed off on her", she said.
"More then you think", Akiro said.
"Enough already! For crying out loud"! Night yelled annoyed.
They laughed as Night sighed taking a breath. 'Hey Night why not show Urahara-san the result of your training', Miyuki Tsuki suggested.
Night chuckled sensing the smile in Miyuki Tsuki's words as she nodded. 'Sounds good to me', she thought.
"Hey Urahara"!
Urahara looked at Night as she stance with a smirk. "How about I show you what my zanpakuto taught me", she said.
Then her spirit energy began to rise shocking everyone as she raised her blade.
"Getsuga Tenshou"!
They all gasped moving back as the large spirit energy blast was launched heading straight for Urahara. "Chikasumi no Tate"! He yelled.
They were all blinded by the light once it had died down they all looked and gasped to see a very large carve mark on the ground. "Woah", Akiro said shocked.
"Kisuke"! Yoruichi gasped.
"Don't worry Yoruichi I'm fine".
They all looked to see a heavily damaged red hexagon shaped barrier in front of Urahara but he was alright. "Its a good thing I got up my blood mist shield or I might be dead", Urahara sighed.
They all paled and turned to Night but to their shock she was on her knees leaning on her zanpakuto asleep. "She fell asleep", Hikari said stunned.
"Using all that power would get her fast asleep but its the move that surprised me", Yoruichi said.
"The move"? Roy questioned.
"Getsuga Tensho a move that was Ichigo's specialty", Urahara said.
"Wait Uncle Ichigo used that move"? Hikari gasped.
"When he was a Soul Reaper right"? Akiro asked.
"That's right", Urahara nodded.
"So how could Night know it"? Roy asked.
"Well Isshin Kurosaki, Night's grandfather and Ichigo's father, knows the move as well so it must be a Kurosaki thing", Urahara said.
"Fair enough", Akiro said.
"Is she ok"?
They all looked to see Katsumi walking tot hem. "Katsumi", Yoruichi said.
"So that's Katsumi", Akiro thought.
"Don't worry Katsumi, Night's just sleeping", Yoruichi said.
"With that look Katsumi-chan makes me think you care about Night", Urahara said playfully, waving his fan.
"Don't be ridiculous", Katsumi said, walking to Night crouching down.
"I'm only the butterfly protecting the flower nothing more just doing my job".
Urahara and Yoruichi looked at her with frowns the other three unease by her words.
Aurasoul: Well its done just like Bleach! *getting a tissue*
Night: Yeah the last chapter of the manga for Bleach came our the saga is over.
Aurasoul: But not this story! Next time Night will be going with Rukia to the Soul Society once again so until next time! *dabbing eyes with tissue*
