Night: Should I be worried on this one?
Aurasoul: Sorta but on the bright side you might actually get along with Katsumi now.
Night: Thats good well anyway Aurasoul doesnt own Bleach only her OCs except Katsumi who belongs to Scarlett Kuchiki.
Aurasoul: Believe me if I owned Bleach I wouldve gotten Ichigo and Rukia together so enjoy!
Chapter 16
Night dodged a swipe from the Hollow she was fighting then smirked and jumped up as blue arrows hit it causing it to screech in pain Ryo ran punching it. "Now Night"! Akiro yelled.
"Yeah"! She smirked.
She flash stepped slashing downward as the Hollow screech before disintegrating. "Great work everyone", Night smiled.
"But man Hollows have been appearing a lot lately I mean that was the fifth one we beat"!
"Why hasn't Katsumi helped us"? Akiro questioned annoyed.
"I told Katsumi to scout the area on the other side and take down any Hollows there", Night said.
"Will she be ok by herself"? Hikari asked worried.
"She's the third seat in the fourth Division she's strong so she'll be fine", Night assured.
Once she said that a silver-crimson butterfly flew to Night she put up her hand as it landed on her finger. "Ive defeated all the Hollows Lady Night", Katsumi said.
"Great to hear thanks Katsumi we finished up here too so we'll meet up back at the house", Night said.
Understood", Night said.
The butterfly then flew off. "That's an efficient way of communication", Akiro said.
"It was created by Katsumi's zanpakuto its no Soul Society Hell Butterfly but it works", Night smiled, as they walked.
"How are things going with you two"? Roy asked.
"Still stiff", Night sighed.
"Why does she hate you? You didn't do anything to her did you"? Akiro asked in disbelief.
When it comes to everyone in Karakura Town who know Night they would either like her or respect her not one hating her like Katsumi. "Look it's a bit… Complicated between me and Katsumi with me being a Kuchiki and all don't worry about it", she said, walking ahead.
The three frowned at her as they walked. "They don't need to worry about it its my problem not theirs", she thought with a sigh.
'But how do you plan to fix it'? Miyuki Tsuki asked.
'Whats to fix? As long as Im part Kuchiki she'll always hate me', Night thought.
'And you don't mind'? Miyuki Tsuki asked.
Night was silent not saying anything as they reached the house and suddenly Night frowned. "Somethings not right", she said.
"What do you mean"? Hikari asked.
"I don't sense Katsumi anywhere and she's always first to reach a meeting spot", Night said.
"Maybe something held her back", Roy said.
Night frowned and flash stepped away. "Oi Night"! Akiro called.
Night jumped a few buildings before reaching a spot standing in the air. "This is where Katsumi went to patrol for Hollows but I don't sense anything right now", she frowned.
Then suddenly she felt a pressure making her gasp and turned. "Over there"! She thought.
"She quickly flash stepped over and gasped to see Katsumi facing a Hollow as she panted injured on her head and arm as the Hollow crackled. "Hehehe I always wondered what a Soul Reaper tastes like", he said.
"Not on your life", Katsumi growled.
"Time to die"! The Hollow yelled, leaping to attack Katsumi.
"Hado #4 Byakurai"!
Blue lightning was launched at the Hollow causing him to yell in pain Katsumi gasped as Night jumped in front of her. "Katsumi are you ok"?! Night gasped worried.
"Yes Lady Night", Katsumi said. Still a bit stunned.
"That's good got me a bit worried there", Night said with a light smile.
"So what kind of Hollow is this that's giving you such a hard time"?
Katsumi blinked out of her stupor and only frowned stepping up. "Theres no need for you to step in I can finish it off myself", she said coldly.
Night frowned at this. "Usually I'd let that slide and let you do it being my bodyguard and all but your injured I'll handle it", she said.
"This is nothing I can still fight", Katsumi said.
"Ah why not you both take me on more for me to eat", the Hollow crackled.
"Says the guy who got hit with my attack you're going to be too easy", Night mocked with a smirk.
"Why you"! The Hollow yelled.
The Hollow launched itself at them but the two quickly moved away. "You had to provoke it", Katsumi sighed.
"Couldn't help myself", Night smirked.
Night then ran as she strike the Hollow causing it to screech as Katsumi watched. "I can never understand Lady Night she's unlike any Kuchiki I ever met but then again she was never truly raised as one so easily likeable", she thought.
She gasped and quickly shook her head. "It doesn't change anything she is still a Kuchiki just like Lady Rukia", she thought, clutching her hand tightly in anger.
"Katsumi"?
Katsumi blinked looking to see Night the Hollow already gone. "You ok? You were spacing out. Do you have a fever or something"? Night asked worried.
Katsumi blinked before shaking her head. "No Im fine Lady Night", she said.
"You know you don't have to keep calling me 'Lady Night' just Night I told you before", Night frowned.
"Is that an order"? Katsumi asked.
"No its not"! Night said annoyed, then sighed.
"Look Katsumi my Zanpakuto, Miyuki Tsuki is right I don't want our relationship to be like this I can understand why you hate the Kuchiki family but you have to understand Im no lady Im no Kuchiki I am a Kurosaki who just wants to be your friend".
Katsumi blinked shocked by Night's words yet she clench her fists tightly. "Don't you start you don't know me", she said coldly.
"That's only because you don't really talk to me", Night frowned.
"RRAAH"!
They gasped looking up and dodged a Hollow's attack. "What the hell? Where did it come from"? Night thought shocked.
The Hollow was humanoid with a black and stark gray body with a skull like mask that had two low horns as it growled Night frowned. "We'll talk about this later right now we got to take care of that Hollow", she said.
"Fine then", Katsumi said.
The Hollow roared rushing to attack them but the two flash stepped away Katsumi appearing behind it. "Bakudo #61 Rikujokoro", she said.
The six beams of light slam into the Hollow as it lowly growled in shock. "Now Lady Night", Katsumi said, flash stepping away again.
"With pleasure", Night said, appearing in front of the Hollow raising her zanpakuto.
"Getsuga Tensho"!
She slashed downward the slash hitting the Hollow as it screeched disappearing in the light of the blast as Katsumi flash stepped next to Night. "Are you alright"? Katsumi asked.
"Yeah using the Getsuga Tensho doesn't tire me out anymore like it use to", Night shrugged, sheathing her zanpakuto.
"Now we can talk".
"There's nothing to talk about", Katsumi said, sheathing her own zanpakuto.
"Yes we do listen Katsumi Im not going to say anything about your hatred to the Kuchiki family in my opinion you have every right with what happened to your sister"-
"Wait how do you know about my sister"? Katsumi questioned shock.
"I got it out of mom took me a while too", Night sighed, remembering.
Flashback…
"Mom who was the Yumichika that guarded you"? Night questioned one night.
Rukia flinched from sipping her tea looking away. "I rather not talk about it Night", she began.
"Mom you always had that guilty look. Did you know her that well or what"? Night asked frowning.
Rukia was silent looking down at her tea. "Mom please tell me", Night said.
Rukia sighed softly. "Her name was Ame Yumichika she was Katsumi's sister", she said.
Night gasped in shock her face pale.
End of flashback…
Katsumi looked stunned as Night sighed softly as she spoke. "You have every right to hate. But can you really hate someone who isn't really a Kuchiki"? She asked.
Katsumi flinch as Night went on. "Sure through mom I am a Kuchiki but hardly considered one I wasn't raised in nobility I didn't even knew I didn't even knew I was part of nobility until I met mom and Uncle Byakuya. Im just a regular person or well as regular as you can get being a soul reaper and all but that's beside the point the point is I just want us to be friends screw the whole 'noble' and 'servant' nonsense I want to know the real you".
Katsumi was shocked by Night's words and sincerity looking at her as she clutched her arm where her butterfly rune mark was. "I-I", Katsumi began.
Night gave a sympathetic look toward Katsumi understanding her uncertainty suddenly though she sensed spiritual pressure looking behind Katsumi and gasped. "Katsumi get out of the way"! Night yelled.
Katsumi grew wide eyed in shock feeling herself being pushed away she looked and gasped in horror to see Night heavily injured on her lower side making Night cough blood dropping to the floor on her knees as she clutched the wound. "Lady Night"! Katsumi shrieked, running to her side as she turned and gasped.
There stood the Hollow injured and its mask heavily cracked and its claw like hands covered in Night's blood as it lowly growled. "It was able to attack while injured like that from Lady Night's Getsuga Tensho?! Just what is that Hollow"?! Katsumi thought shocked.
Night coughed making Katsumi gasp and look down at Night who was panting clutching her wound tightly with one hand while the other covering her eyes. "Lady Night", Katsumi began.
"K-Katsumi are you ok"? Night suddenly asked, as she panted.
"Wh-why are you asking me that when you're the one who's injured"?! Katsumi questioned angrily.
"Just tell me", Night panted.
Katsumi swallowed before nodding. "Yes Im fine", she said.
"That's good", Night said weakly, giving a one eyed smile.
"I was worried you got hurt back there".
Katsumi gasped clenching her teeth tightly before looking back at the Hollow before standing and unsheathing her zanpakuto. "Lady Night give me an order", she said.
"Huh? I told you before I'm not"-
"Its fine".
Katsumi turned her head and Night grew wide eyed to see Katsumi smiling at her. "I don't mind go on", Katsumi said.
Night blinked before covering her face with her hand and sighed. "Ugh fine just this once. Katsumi defeat that Hollow", she ordered.
"Yes my lady", Katsumi smiled, before turning her head to glare at the Hollow.
"You wont live for injuring Lady Night".
The Hollow only growled as Katsumi raised her zanpakuto. "Soar through your enemies souls Amaterasu no Cho"! She yelled.
Night gasped looking in awe to see silver butterflies surround Katsumi some even around Night as she looked at them and a gold butterfly on Katsumi's butterfly rune mark. "What the"? Night gasped.
Katsumi snapped her fingers and the blade of her zanpakuto turned into butterflies and were sent flying toward the Hollow the Hollow growled and reached up to crush some of them but when he touched the butterflies his hand was sliced causing it to screech in pain. "What just happened"?! Night gasped.
"The wings of my butterflies are like blades that are laced in poison I can decided when to activate the poison to melt the Hollow from the inside by the poison", Katsumi said.
"No way", Night said awed.
The Hollow screeched as the butterflies slashed at it with many slash marks on its body. "You should've died the moment Lady Night attacked you with her Getsua Tensho too bad for you", Katsumi said.
She snapped her fingers and the Hollow screeched melting by the poison disintegrating it the butterflies then flew becoming Katsumi's blade again the other butterflies disappearing as she sheathed her zanpakuto then kneeling in front of a stunned Night who then gave a one eyed smile. "Remind me to never get on your bad side", she joked.
Katsumi giggled as she began to heal Night's injury.

Night: What the heck kind of Hollow was that?!
Aurasoul: You'll learn soon dont worry next time Night and Katsumi will be going to the Soul Society to report of the Hollow and Night is gonna be doing some noble stuff for Byakuya so until then read and review!
