Chapter 22
"My body is causing a rampage?!" Night yelled shocked.
"I'll admit the speed of the process surprised even me." Her Inner Hollow replied nonchalantly. "Your Spirit Energy truly is unique. I'm sure those Soul Reapers won't be able to stop you now."
"Shit!" Night yelled, clashing with her Inner Hollow.
Everyone!
Night's body breathed out smoke the others watching stunned. "This is bad. Shinji!" Kensei began.
Night's body roared causing a shockwave the others shielding themselves as wings sprouted from her back and flew up and away. "Lord Kuchiki!" Katsumi yelled, rushing to Byakuya.
"Shit she's heading for the Seireitei!" Renji yelled. "We got to stop-"
"Captain Hirako." Hitsuguya spoke, causing them to look to face him. "Start the timer."
"Father?" Tatsuya blinked.
"Wait you're not actually." Shinji began.
"The time is still going we don't have enough to argue." Hitsuguya reminded, unsheathing his zanpakuto.
Shinji looked at Hitsuguya but then smirked. "Kensei start the time for another 10 minutes." He spoke.
"Right." Kensei nodded.
"Tatsuya you're the fastest among us. Go quickly to warn everyone while I hold her off." Hitsuguya instructed his son.
"Of course father." Tatsuya nodded, looking slightly worried. "Please be careful."
Hitsuguya faced his son and gave an assuring smile before his face grew serious. "Bankai, Daiguren Hyorinmaru!"
Night swiftly dodged but her Inner Hollow grabbed her making her gasp and cried out in pain from being stabbed through the shoulder. "You're mine now!" Her Inner Hollow sneered.
Instinctively Night held out her hand. "Hado #63 Raikoho!" She yelled.
Her Inner Hollow gasped seeing the yellow orb and moved back as the lightning was shot in an explosion the Inner Hollow coughed moving the smoke away. "I'm impressed that much power and without an incantation too." She remarked.
She looked around to see Night gone and looked in the forest. "Just about there. But she better hurry."
Night panted sitting on a tree clutching on her bleeding shoulder. "Shit even in this place it still hurts." She muttered, looking at herself.
She was injured badly with gashes all over her body noticeably on her abdomen and side she sighed looking at her hand recalling how she used Raikoho. I didnt even think I just yelled the first that came to mind out of reflex. She thought, thinking deeply. Reflex, instinct, don't think, do what comes naturally…
Night's eyes began to glow with a light blue light. "Don't hesitate and don't hold back."
"Everyone prepare yourselves before she comes! Captain Hitsuguya won't be able to hold her off long!"
"Right!"
Tatsuya rushed with Rangiku and his mother Momo Hitsuguya lieutenant of the 5th Division as they instructed other Soul Reapers. "How long till your father comes Tatsuya?" Momo questioned.
"It's hard to say we're still going with the plan of each of us battling her for 10 minutes until either the hour is up or Night finally gains control." Tatsuya frowned.
"It's been 15 minutes so someone already switched with the Captain." Rangiku remarked. "I still can't believe Night could break out of Asami's and Katsumi's barrier and beat Captain Kuchiki so easily."
"It surprised all of us it shows we can't pull any punches here." Tatsuya swallowed.
"Lieutenants!" A subordinate rushed to them. "We have securely evacuated the citizens to the far side of the Seireitei."
"Good work now make sure all Kido users are there to form a protection barrier with Captain Unohana and Lieutenant Kotetsu." Momo instructed.
"Ma'am!" The subordinate nodded, before rushing off.
"With the perimeter now secure we won't have to worry about casualties." Momo frowned. "But we'll have to try to keep damage at a minimum."
"That's only if we can keep her in check." Rangiku frowned.
"Rangiku, Momo, Tatsuya!"
The three gasped looking up to see Hitsuguya flying down to them. "Toshiro!" Momo cried, rushing to hug her husband.
"Captain what's happening?" Rangiku questioned.
"My 10 minutes were up and now Lieutenant Abarai is fighting and coming here soon." Hitsuguya explained.
"Which means it's nearly been 40 minutes." Tatsuya frowned. "She's running out of time."
"Well thanks to Tatsuya's warning we managed to evacuate the citizens far enough and protecting them with a barrier." Rangiku reported.
"Good work all of you." Hitsuguya nodded. "Now we just-"
"Captain Hitsuguya! Everyone!"
They all looked up surprised to see Rukia running to them. "Rukia!" Rangiku gasped surprised.
"What's going on?! Are we under attack?! Where's Night?!" Rukia demanded frantic.
"Lieutenant Kurosaki you need to calm down the situation." Tatsuya began.
"Hikotsu Taiho!"
"RAAAH!"
A massive explosion went off from above as Renji landed roughly on the ground in Bankai. "Renji!" Rukia yelled.
Renji grew wide eyed turning to see Rukia and quickly stood up. "Rukia?! What are you doing here?!" He yelled shocked.
"To see Night, where is she?!" Rukia demanded.
As if to answer her question Night's body landing in front of them growling demonically with a tail swishing and wings outstretched. The body has become more hollow like with dark blue markings. Rukia covered her mouth shocked upon the appearance of her daughter.. "N-Night?!"
The Inner Hollow walked around the forest twirling her black Miyuki Tsuki. "Come on now Princess you don't have much time you know." She called mockingly. "Let's end this game now."
"I agree."
The Inner Hollow stopped to see Night stepping down from her tree eyes set with her zanpakuto pointing at her Inner Hollow. "Let's finish this." She said.
Her Inner Hollow looked surprised before she smirked. "Now that's more like it." She smirked. "Let's go Princess!"
Their Spirit Energies raged as they ran toward each other before clashing with a massive shockwave the sakura petals sent flying in a flurry.
Tatsuya yelled as he crashed into a wall by the Hollowed Night's body. "Tatsuya!" Momo shrieked.
"Looks like we made it."
Shinji and the rest caught up to them Byakuya being helped by Isao. "Brother!" Rukia gasped.
"Kensei how much time is left?" Shinji questioned.
"We're at the 50 minute mark." Kensei frowned.
"Then at this rate!" Renji began to panic.
Tatsuya flew out of the hole clashing with Night's body. "Calm down Abarai." Shinji replied. "With how things are going it should be over soon."
"Huh?" Renji and Rukia questioned surprised.
Then Night's body raised her hand a dark blue cero beginning to form making them gasp. "She's forming a Cero!" Rojuro called.
"Get out of the way Tatsuya!" Hitsuguya yelled.
Tatsuya frowned, raising his Zanpakuto. Guess I have no choice. He thought. "Freeze your enemies with your icy glare Ko-!"
Suddenly the arm began to crack and splurt with blood to their shock. Night's body roared in pain as more cracks formed on the body.
The wind blew gently within Night's Inner World. Yet she paid no attention to it only of her Inner Hollow who she had pierced through the chest with her zanpakuto. Her Inner Hollow gave a light smirk. "Good work Princess you finally unlocked your instincts." She replied, as her body began to dye in black.
"... You didnt even go for the strike." Night remarked, her Inner Hollow's blade at her neck. "Why?"
"Heh, don't you get it? If you die I die it's a two end deal Princess." Her Inner Hollow snorted.
"So then you?" Night began.
Her Inner Hollow suddenly grabbed her front robe making Night gasp seeing her serious expression. "Listen good Princess these powers are highly dangerous especially for someone like you, you have to be dedicated and diligent otherwise this power you and I have will swallow us both whole." She warned darkly. "Become strong, stronger than you ever been and control the dark power within you."
With that her Inner Hollow disappeared in a bright light as she watched stunned.
Everyone watched stunned as Night's body glowed in a large light before erupting in an explosion. "Night!" Rukia shrieked, going to run.
"Wait Rukia!" Renji yelled, quickly grabbing Rukia before she could move.
"Let go of me Renji!" Rukia snapped.
Tatsuya waved the smoke away with a cough to clear his vision once he did so he saw Night's hollowfied body standing still before the hollowfied skin began to fall off wings including to show Night's injured body as they shattered leaving only her Hollow Mask. "S-So then?" Isao began.
Night soon fell Tatsuya gasped quickly catching her as her mask fell off her face and the others quickly ran to them. "Night!" Rukia cried worried, kneeling next to them.
Night groaned, opening her eyes to face Rukia. "Mom… Tatsuya…" Night spoke up weakly.
"So Night." Shinji spoke with a light smile. "How do you feel?"
Night looked up at Shinji a weak grin on her face. "Great, just great." She replied.
"Heh very good." Shinji smirked.
Miyuki Tsuki walked from within a tree with a sigh as the wind blew. "I must admit you did good work." She replied.
There was movement and the Inner Hollow walked to her with a smirk. "Most of it was Princess she's quite the natural at this I'm sure she'll be fine." The Inner Hollow remarked.
"I should hope so with all the trouble you caused." Miyuki Tsuki scowled.
The Inner Hollow laughed before suddenly stopping to the Zanpakuto's confusion. "What's wrong?" She questioned.
The Inner Hollow looked ahead with a questionable frown. This feeling…
Ichigo sat in his office at the hospital but could hardly concentrate his thoughts to Night as he set his pen down angrily. "Dammit my daughter is going through so much and I can't do anything for her." He scowled. "If only I had my powers…!"
"Excuse me ?"
Ichigo looked up to see one of the nurses coming in nervously. "Is something wrong?" He questioned.
"Well you see there's a man that wishes to see you saying he has important matters to discuss with you." The nurse told him.
Ichigo frowned before he only sighed. "Let him come in." He said.
"Of course." She nodded, leaving his office.
Great now what could it be? He thought annoyed.
"Hello ."
Ichigo looked up to see a smiling man coming into his office making him frown. "Who are you?" Ichigo questioned.
"My name is Kugo Ginjo." The man replied. "And I'd like to offer my help to you."
