YOU'RE WHAT!
Disclaimer: The Cullen's, the Swans, and most of the characters mentioned in the story that are known from Stephanie Meyer's beloved Twilight Saga, are all hers and hers alone. I neither have nor wish to pass them off as mine. I do appreciate the fact that she did bring them to life and allows us to play with them in our imaginations. The only thing I will claim is the current storyline.
The awesome and talented dowlingnana searched out my errors and corrected them.
Looking closer she was able to identify that among the dead was Caius Volturi and the one still alive, although barely, was Marcus Volturi.
She turned to Esme and told her to go to the car and to quickly phone in to Rosalie and Alice about the situation so help could be sent immediately.
CHAPTER 41: IT'S OVER!
"When do you think the guys will get over their mad and realize that we're only doing this for their sake; that it's a means to ensure their safety?" Rosalie was questioning no one in particular but was speaking her thoughts aloud.
"Rose, settle down. We both know how they feel since we want to be involved as well. But you have to admit that Bella is right about why we all need to stay away. That isn't part of our job. Keeping Edward, Emmett and Jasper safe is."
"I kno….." At that moment, before Rosalie could finish her thought, the phone started to ring.

Sam and Felix arrived at the appointed meeting place to find that everyone was already gathered and tossing ideas back and forth. And, it didn't take long before they were brought up to date as to what was being tossed around but realized that nothing had been decided upon as yet by anyone.
After listening to all of the different ideas, Felix had a feeling that nothing planned out for a later time was going to work at all. There were too many ways that things could go wrong at one place or another. Everyone needed to make their move at the same exact time, no matter which area they might be stationed. He also had the feeling that action needed to be taken immediately and not later, even by a few hours.
Sam recognized his partner's unease by watching the fleeting expressions that came and went on Felix's face, so he shot a quizzing look over at him. He had no idea what could be causing Felix's uneasiness. However, Sam did know that something was wrong. Too many times Sam had observed Felix having a reaction like this and the time or two, in the beginning, when it was ignored, disaster was encountered. So, Sam knew that it was best not to avoid the warning signals.
Quietly Sam reached out to take a hold of Felix's arm in an effort to pull him away from everyone else. But the movement was noticed by some of the others and the question, "What's wrong?" was asked by Jacob Black. It was that question that encouraged Sam to explain with him ending with, "And, every time I ignored these signs from Felix problems always popped up."
"Okay. If that's the case, then tell us what you think should be done." Was demanded by the FBI lead agent.
"The idea of taking everyone down at the same time is what definitely needs to be done. However, the scheduling is what is causing me concern." Felix explained. "I have a strange feeling that the longer we wait to do this, we will end up missing something important."
"Okay, when do you suggest we do this?"
"Now. We know the addresses, the people, their schedules. All we need to do is to assign who goes where and once everyone is at their assigned place we can move as one." Felix told them.
"May I ask how we would know when to move all at the same time if we don't have a scheduled timetable?"
"Yeah. Once everyone is in place the lead of each team can join a conference connection with headquarters and the order to go can be given to everyone at the same time."
"Let's get this straight; you are talking about going right now to get this done. Is that correct?"
"Yes sir, that is what I'm saying. Right now, that way there's no chance of any information being leaked. It's true that we feel that the mole has been found and the leak is about to be plugged, it is also because of those facts that I think it is better to act now.
"No one on any team will be by themselves, there will be someone around at all times. Therefore no one can communicate with anyone outside of their group."
After some silent consideration and then a quiet discussion with all the others present, Felix's suggestions were termed as acceptable. No one could find fault with the plan.
Just as the decision of who was going to lead each team and then who would be on which team was taking place, Sam's phone began ringing. That sound brought all discussion to a complete halt. As the entire group threw a frown Sam's way because of the abrupt interruption.
Then they all watched as Sam's expression became shocked and he yelled, "What the hell?!"

Rosalie answered the phone and then listened attentively to what the caller was telling her. Alice could tell that whatever it was came as totally unexpected by Rosalie. The conversation didn't last long, but it still left Rosalie in a state of shock, maybe, stunned surprise would be a better description as to what she was experiencing.
Alice waited for Rose to tell her what the call was about, but as the moments ticked by, she became impatient with waiting. "Damn, Rosalie, who called and what was said to put you in such a state?"
"Well, it seems that we need to call Sam and let him know that Bella has left the hospital and ran into a situation that demanded desperate measures."
"Okay, but can you give me a few more details than that?"
"Yeah, but can that take place as I'm telling Sam. The facts that I've just been told will need to be taken into consideration as everyone is making plans for the rest of the takedown."
Alice caught the last part about the 'rest of the takedown' but agreed to listen as Rosalie was informing Sam about the contents of the phone call that had just taken place. Then her jaw dropped when she heard Rosalie explaining to Sam about the plans she and Rosalie had discussed with the elder Cullen's which led to the fact that Bella was awake and left the hospital to see about trying to locate the sister of Sam's and Felix's secret witness.
Then after some comment that was made by Sam, Rosalie continued, "She did manage to find the sister; however, it seems that they ran into a problem as they were about to leave. And that brings me to the reason why I'm calling now." Once again Rosalie paused as she was listening to Sam.
"Yes, Sam, I know we should have told you and Felix about this, but you two had other things to handle. And, the problem that they ran into was two of the Volturi brothers showed up with a guard each and their driver. It seems there were some shots fired which led to the death of four men and one still barely alive.
"Medical help needs to be dispatched as soon as possible to your witness's home address." Rosalie concluded and then listened once more to what Sam had to say.
"Yes, Sam, I do know who was killed and who was injured. The driver and the two guards are dead as well as Caius Volturi. The one that is barely alive is Marcus Volturi." At this point Alice observed Rosalie having to jerk the phone away from her ear as Sam started yelling.
During Sam's yelling, Alice was still in a state of shock, but not enough that she couldn't appreciate the fortitude that Rosalie was displaying as she tried to give Sam time to calm down enough for her to be able to speak once more.
Not being able to resist the urge any longer, Alice walked over and took the phone out of Rosalie's hand and talked with Sam herself. She told him, "I would suggest that instead of yelling at us you get to moving to get help over to Bella and then to inform everyone at your meeting what has occurred.
"For under the current circumstances I would think that it might bring about certain changes to the plans that all of you are making." Once Alice had finished speaking, she hung up and handed the phone back to Rosalie.
After taking the phone back, both Rosalie and Alice started with a low chuckle which turning into all out-belly laughter. And, the sound brought the three men out of their rooms which led to them demanding to know what was going on. The two women looked at each other and silently communicated what they needed to tell the guys.
Finally, Alice spoke up and told them that they had just been told about some unusual circumstances that had taken place. "However, they are such things that have made all of you a lot safer."

Sam just stared at his phone since he wasn't used to be hung up on. But, the demanding voices from the rest of those gathered for the meeting jerked his attention back to the fact that they needed to be informed of what he had just learned.
Sam turned to face everyone as he was wondering how he could best present what he had just found out. He was aware that some might not take some of the news very well, especially Felix, but there was nothing he could do about that since Alice and Rosalie hadn't taken the time to fully confide in anyone. So, as he looked at them, he said, "Well, gentlemen, I've just learned that two of our major players have been removed from the game board."
And, as everyone started clamoring for answers, Sam dialed his department and instructed them to send an ambulance to the address he gave them and then mentioned that a cleanup crew was needed also. Then he told them that a shooting had taken place at the address as an explanation as well as telling them that it was an emergency with one person barely alive and four others were dead. The whole conversation set off another stream of demands wanting more information.
So, with taking a deep breath and exhaling it, Sam told them all that he had been told. As he finished the entire room was quiet; no one knew how to respond. However, the stunned silence was suddenly broken by Felix with his "what the hell are all of them thinking of?"
"Felix, we'll deal with all of that after we get the job completed. It seems that quite a bit of it has already been handled. Now, all we need to do is to take down the main player, Aro Volturi.
"Once we have completely cut off the head of the snake the body will die."
And, with that said, everyone got back to revising their plans. Once they were satisfied and everyone had been assigned to teams, it was decided that Jacob Black would be the one that was going to handle the conference calls with a couple of FBI agents to aid him, everyone moved out to get the job done and completed.
It had also been decided that Jacob Black was going to deal with the arrest of the mole that was in General Attorney's office and Det. Norris would be the one to arrest the leak, his Captain, in the police department. But those two actions won't take place until the signal had been given to move forward with dealing with Aro Volturi and the rest of his lieutenants.

Edward, Emmett and Jasper weren't satisfied with the answers they had been given, so they demanded to know what all had been done. Rosalie looked at Alice who was in turn staring back at her. It seemed that each had decided that nothing, but the truth was going to be acceptable to the three men.
With some hesitation at first, both Rosalie and Alice told the guys everything that had been taking place with both Bella and Edward's parents. Then they concluded with what had been learnt from Esme's phone call to them and what they had told Sam.
The three men stood in stunned silence until Edward angerly asked, "Do you mean that Bella has been awakened and allowed to leave the hospital in her condition to deal with all of this shit?"
"Well, the idea was to check with her about what she wanted to do and what her orders were. And, I have to tell you three that it was on her orders that none of us, but Sam and Felix were allowed to attend the meeting.
"After being told about the teenager and what we had all seen last night, we wanted to discuss a course of action to try to recover the young woman. Bella made her own decisions and then followed through with them.
"We knew nothing about the events that had taken place in locating the girl until Esme called and told us and we let Sam know so the team could adjust their plans accordingly. Also, help needed to be sent for the one prisoner that was still alive."
None of the guys knew what to say, or what to feel. In fact, it was as if their brain had stopped functioning altogether for the moment. The only facts that were still missing was what was taking place with Sam and Felix. And, they had no idea how to find out about those events.
However, Edward had to ask, "Do you know about what plans Sam's and Felix's group had made and what actions were being taken?"
"Sorry, Edward, but we haven't been told. There hasn't been enough time for anyone to fill us in on anything concerning the outcome of the meeting." Rosalie told him.
"So, it seems that we're all in the dark for the time being." Alice told the three guys. Then she suggested, "The best thing to do at this time is to keep ourselves occupied with other things until we hear from someone, either Bella or Sam and Felix."
So, that is what they all did.
AN: No one was happy about Bella being out and about doing her job. The plans have been made to finish the job with Aro Volturi and his bunch. Now everyone is waiting to hear that the job is complete and the danger for Edward, Emmett and Jasper is over.
