A Kiss in Ba Sing Se

[A/N: This is an A/U story. The Toph character does feel inferior to Katara and so in order to compete for Aang's affections pulls out all the stops. Aang is a boy with near infinite power and is being offered love and comfort from the two girls most dear to him.

As we ponder our actions, often times feelings arise.

Chapter 43

Deep Feelings

Mai sat in the huge sunken marble tub as the warm water lapped at her stiff shoulders. She was distinctly aware of her talkative companion who sat adjacent to her, far too close for her comfort.

"Why is she just... chatting about nothing, like some hog-monkey? Can't she see, I really could care less what she's saying?" Mai asked herself. "And why does she have to sit on my side, this place is almost as big as a swimming pool."

Suki lightly rubbed the loofah over her arm, "... so you see how lucky you were Mai? You would've been still wondering out there in the dark... not knowing you wet yourself. I mean, really girl, it happens when you're not use to roughing it. Hell, it's happened to me... a time or two. You got to make sure you're dry... if you know what I mean," she prattled on, now looking over at the sullen woman. "Oh Mai, this is nothing to be ashamed of. You're a girl, I'm a girl... these thing happen... okay?"

Mai returned a slight nod, still staring down into the water, "Sure Suki... thank you," she replied meekly.

"Ahhh... it was nothing. You did save me and Sokka from that Boiling Lake back then... even though it was Zuko you really were saving," the warrior said with a wink.

"And it was the buffoon you were really looking for, who might still be wondering those ruins," Mai retorted, with a crack of a smile.

Suki started to laugh, "Not likely. That man is like a cat-owl, how good he can see at night. If all else fails, if there is food within a kilometer, he'll find it!"

Mai chuckled weakly, and once again nodded, "Very jovial... most amusing," she stated in a weakening voice as she began to gasp. To her own surprise, she felt her throat thickening even as her vision blurred.

Suki began to hear her choked mumblings, "Mai... Mai are, are you... crying?"

Toph could hear the departure of the attendants from the bath as she sat in the water.

"I'll take care of her," Katara assured them.

"Will you be okay your Majesty," Lei asked with great concern.

"I'll be fine," Toph responded with a forced smile. "Just go and check up on my other guests."

She immediately bowed, "Yes, your majesty, right away."

As the door closed, the question seemed to fall simultaneously.

"You love Aang don't you Toph?"

Funny how vulnerable she felt, neck-deep in her rivals element. Somehow she knew it would be useless to try to lie now.

She could sense the taller woman examining her face intensely, trying to seek out the truth to her question.

"Katara, why would you... I mean... why ask me that about Twinkle Toes now? Do you think I would talk about something like that in a tub... filled with water... with you?" she gasped as she turned her back. "I'm not stupid, nor do I have a death wish!"

"Hmm, I think... Toph, this is the only place... really the only place, can we talk about it," she replied creating rivulets around the princess' body. "My how you've grown. Gone is that little tomboy we used to know so long ago. Your breasts are bigger than Suki's and I think, you've maybe got Mai beat now. To tell you the truth, the shape... they're perfect Toph, so beautiful."

Toph crossed her arms over her chest, "Hey Suga, I don't roll that way. If you want that kind of company, Lei would be more than happy to..."

Katara was utterly surprised as she started to giggle. "I'm not coming on to you baby girl. I was just giving you a compliment, telling you what you can't see is all. But what Aang is seeing for sure."

"Twinkles see you," Toph informed her with a deepening scowl. "He's always... only sees you! What am I to him? You're going to tell me Suga? I know what I mean to him. Even blind, I can see that much."

The intrigued blue-eyed girl lifted an eye brow, "Another story baby girl? Don't you know, here I can see... I can feel every part of you. The water you sit in is lit up like moonlight, and... and I know the truth of the matter," the waterbender told her.

Toph smiled, "Okay, ya got me sweetness. Ya found me out Water Jugs! Wanna make out?"

There were stories Toph had heard about men and animals being crushed in the coils of some great serpent, this situation reflected, as the rivulets suddenly became strong tendrils that held her fast. "So I take that as a... maybe... Katara?"

"Don't screw with me Toph," Katara seethed. "I've put up with your yak shit all day. I've danced to your tune, but here... now, I'm in control! So just answer my fucking question!"

"Calm down Sweetness," Toph said as she finally turned back around with a toothy grin, even through the almost crushing grip of the water, "I'll tell ya, but ya gotta stop all that squeaking and squalling. It's really hurting my ears."

Katara glared at her, "No more lies or trying to distract me Toph! So help me, I'll dunk your little ass! You know I will."

Toph squirmed against the water,"This is starting to hurt Katara. Can you give it a rest already? It's not like I can jump out of here and outrun your whip."

Immediately she felt the pressure subside, but the small streams still coursed around her.

"So, Katara? Are you also going to admit you have a little something-something for certain King hot-pants?" the petite general took the opportunity to ask.

Katara's eyes sharpened, "You are not going to get out of answering my question about Aang that easily Toph. Either tell me the story truth, or get the most unpleasant bath of your slutty little life! Face down in the water!"

Toph's mouth went agape, "Why you brazen hussy… you wouldn't dare!"

"Oh wouldn't I! And by the way, it takes one to know one Toph," Katara laughed as she surveyed the frustration on the young general's face. "Just the look on your face says it all! Why not just come clean... as hard as that is for you, mud troll. But I know you better than you think I do. Do you remember those days, before the eclipse, and Aang couldn't sleep."

Toph nodded, "Yeah, he was really freaking out about fighting the Fire Lord without his pants. What about it Suga?"

Katara shook her head slightly, "Well I thought it was funny then Toph. You have the best hearing of us all, and I know you heard him fretting. Normally you would have just said, shut up, or get a grip you big baby. But you didn't... why didn't you get up to help him Toph?"

Toph's face snapped away as Katara spoke, the waterbender knew she had struck a nerve. She moved around in the tub to once more face the earthbender.

"Please baby girl... Toph, just... talk to me dammit. It's okay to tell me the truth now. It's been a long time. Why would I get angry now? It's not like I didn't see those tears streaming down your face that night. They told me you weren't asleep... an-and that you had feelings for him. And by the way, the bed idea, was just wonderful. Sokka told me it was all you," Katara remarked with a nudge.

Toph wiped at a tear that rolled from her cloudy eyes with the back of her hand. "Big Mouth Snoozles, he was supposed to take the credit," she sighed. "Ya know, he had... this baby soft skin, you know," she sighed sucking in her bottom lip. "I just thought he needed…"

"Well, I think we were thinking the same thing when we both ran into each other later that night. I really didn't expect to see you at the foot of his bed," Katara mused, cuddling up next to her. "What were you thinking? Going to be his little cuddle buddy?"

The red-faced princess crossed ground her teeth, "Speak for yourself Sugar Queen! I told you…"

"I know, I know what you said baby girl, as impossible as it was even back then. But we both know... that a blind girl can't get lost in the fog, especially you! I think even the sheep laughed at that one," the waterbender recalled with an elbow to her side.

The princess shrugged her shoulders, "Believe what you want Sweetness, okay? The truth is, I just wanted to try out the bed for myself. When you caught me, I just couldn't come up with a better lie. I was really tired from him being all whacked out and doing stupid stuff in the middle of the night... waking me up."

Katara looked at her incredulously, "So it was the bed, just the bed and not the occupant you're saying?"

"That's right, I wasn't going to go and snuggle up beside that boney runt," she lied, keeping her hot flushing face turned away. "He was all skin and bones, just a little boy back then. I-I was... just tired, like I said, and all his ranting through the night... well, it had worn me down is all!"

Katara giggled gently as she laid her head on the general's slender shoulder, "I was worried about him too. Remember how Sokka shooed us both away? I was thanking Yue that night you were there. He would have suspected the worst if I had been by myself."

Toph wondered why she had even bothered to hide the truth now. "Did Snoozels get any sleep that night?" she asked touching her head to Katara's.

"I really don't think so," the waterbender sighed. "He was just so nervous. Ya know with the invasion and everybody coming, especially our dad. He wanted him to be proud of him. Normally Sokka can sleep before anything. I still recall him praying that night."

Toph chuckled lightly, "So is that what he was doing when he was spewing that gibberish?"

Katara lifted her head, "I'll have you know young lady, that's our ancient tongue! I'll ask you to respect it as well. You would seriously hurt his feelings if he ever heard you say that."

The earthbender leaned her head back, striking her fist upside her temple, "Sorry… I'm just so stupid and useless!"

"Don't talk down about yourself either," Katara chastised her, placing an arm about her shoulders. "You are not stupid. You are able, beautiful, and funny…"

Toph quickly stood up out of the water, "Stop it Katara! Wh-why are you being so nice to me? You know," the earthbender started to talk slowly, "the guy I really liked... back then was... Sokka."

The waterbender started to make figures in the water as she spoke,"I know Toph."

"Wha… no way Sweetness, absolutely, no freakin' way you could have known that!" the princess denied.

Katara laughed lightly, "Hey, Toph, aren't you supposed to be the human lie-detector?" Katara challenged. "Tell me if I'm lying. I'll say it again baby girl, as you put a hand on my chest."

Toph sat back down in the water, placing a hand directly between the waterbender's breast.

Katara took in a deep breath, "I knew you were crush'n on my big bro for the longest. So am I telling the truth?"

The human lie-detector nodded as she removed her hand. "B-but how did you…"

"Because I know you Toph," Katara giggled, amused by the many hues of crimson in the young girl's face. "When you had a thing for Sokka, you followed him around like a polar dog puppy and even laughed at all his stupid jokes. You couldn't have been more obvious!"

"Then why didn't he notice me!" Toph protested clenching her fist.

"Obvious to me Toph, not to him," she clarified with a long sigh. "Despite how charming he can be, Sokka is still a dull witted guy sometimes and back then, he only saw you as a little girl. But I think that orchid dress may have changed his image of you."

Toph rubbed her chin, apparently in deep thought. "So he…"

"Enough about Sokka," Katara cut her off. "So do you love Aang?" the waterbender challenged her once more. "Go ahead and tell me, I won't be angry or jealous."

"Yes," the earthbender answered hoarsely. "Is that what you wanted to hear Sugar Queen? That I love Twinkle Toes?"

This time the waters around her grew still. The princess didn't know what to do in the silence that hung precariously between them. Finally she heard the waterbender let out a long exhale.

"I did ask for it didn't I?" she said, trying to hold back her tears. "Thank you for being honest with me Toph. I've suspected it for sometime now. It seems like... ever since we left that damn island... Roku's Island, your attitude about him... and towards me... was... somehow, different."

The princess ground her teeth at the older girl's uncanny insight. Her own anxiety was starting to build once more. She was now looking for a way to escape.

"Loosen up baby girl," the waterbender exclaimed as she shook the small girl's shoulders. "I can understand your attraction. After Sokka, Aang is a really nice guy. You two are the same age, give or take a hundred years."

"I don't understand Katara," the petite princess whispered now. "Are you giving up on Aang?"

The waterbender took the earthbender's hand and placed it in the middle of her chest once again. "Feel the truth of my words Toph Bei Fong," she replied somberly. "I love Aang, more than just about anyone else in this whole world. I would die before I would give up on him. The truth is, I have you to thank for encouraging me to make my move the other day, baby girl."

The princess simply lifted a well-trimmed eyebrow in response as she withdrew her hand.

Katara started to bend the warm water over body as if leisurely bathing. "I know you and Aang thought I was asleep when we were flying here from the Fire Nation. You and him, looked rather cozy, talking about old times and telling funny stories. You even laughed at his bad jokes, just like you did my brother's. But he wasn't ignoring our frightened little earthbender, clutching the his arm so tightly." Katara revealed as Toph's smoky eyes widened. "The way you smiled as he talked, and the way he blushed, feeling your tits on his arm... if I had any suspicions before, they were certainly gone then."

Toph stood once more, "Why didn't you face me then Suga, I mean, there I was, red-handed?"

Katara shook her head, "Oh no, you had the high ground. I would have just come off looking like a jealous bitch. That would have played into your hand and I would have tipped mine. That's also why I let him walk you back to the Inn. I saw you fishing, but mama had already landed that catch!" the blue-eyed girl heralded with a snap of her fingers.

Toph crossed her arms as she turned away, "So, now that you know my true feelings, I suppose the date is off."

Katara stood up behind her, "I never said that."

The princess turned to face her now admitted rival, "Then what?"

"A bet is a bet, and even though you set me up, I'll honor it," Katara answered with an air of humbleness.

"Forget it then," Toph declared throwing her hands up. "I'm not going take your charity! I'm not some helpless, blind..."

"I never said you were helpless Toph," Katara huffed. "Shit, you're probably the least helpless person I know. You seem to always find a way to win... at everything. I thought you were still going after Aang, or maybe had him... until, you asked me to set you up on this date with him. That's when I knew, you were still striking out, walk and all, am I right?"

"No, you've covered the whole gambit Suga," the princess replied with a relieved sigh. "I've been just too shy to tell him how I've really felt any time we've been alone. I guess, I'm more girl than I thought. When you kissed him at uncle's, I figured all hope was gone by then. I mean, really Sweetness, he's only ever had eyes for you. I even failed when he walked me back to the Inn, and I took that as my last hope."

Katara looked at her questioningly, "So this date... what's the purpose of the date Toph?"

Toph smiled shyly, "No regrets Sweetness. Simply, no regrets. I have a duty to my country and I have accepted it. Part of that is to marry some noble that will assume the throne after my father. so you see Suga, I don't have to confess to him, it would be pointless. But for a day... one day, we can have some fun like a normal couple and maybe share a kiss… will that be permitted?"

The waterbender thought for a moment, "Okay... though it goes against my better judgement... yes, but only one kiss," Katara responded with closed eyes and a hand over her mouth. "I think... I owe you that."

"Thank you Katara," Toph replied as she bowed from the waist. "You don't know what this means to me. I don't even know if he will return the kiss."

The ambassador was already starting to feel regrets, "I'm sure he will Toph. He likes you too much," Katara timidly revealed.

The tears that filled Toph's misty green eyes started to roll in huge dollops down her cheeks. She felt her throat being constricted as she tried to swallow. "You knew how he felt about me Katara! You knew all this time!" the earthbender yelled in a trembling voice.

"I-I couldn't take the chance of losing him Toph!" she shouted back. "I-I, just love him too much. Think about all that Aang and I have been through together! I just... couldn't let you come in and take him from me! That was more than I could stand! You've been my rival... the moment he saw you in that accursed swamp! And I knew it for sure the moment he took your hand at Roku's Island," Katara spat bitterly. "I saw you trying to play it off but I knew what our fights were really about… him and only him!"

"Boy, that's actually good, not like that bitter stuff I was drinking before," Aang commended her as he started to feel renewed vitality surging through him.

She smiled softly at him, "So how do you feel now, your Grace?"

Her looks, and especially that smile, so reminded him of his little love he became misty eyed.

She stepped closer, "Are you in pain, is something wrong?" she asked feeling his forehead.

This time he smiled, "No... I'm okay, really. I don't know what that was, but I'm feeling a lot stronger... and a bit hungry as well ! Do we have anything to eat around here?"

Lili relaxed, seeing that the remedy was working as expected. "I will order you a light meal once you have a full treatment. You still need an adjustment to put your spine back in alignment master. You may feel well, but you are still injured and without that needle in your side, you would be in serious pain," she warned him.

"Wow, I didn't even feel that there," he exclaimed in amazement. "So what's this full treatment?"

She helped his sit erect as she quickly began to unwrap the linen bandage. "We must move into the other room," she told him softy, "I'll help you…"

Aang shook his head, "No, I can airbend up, now that I can breathe. Just step back a little."

The countess' green eyes studied his wincing face, "Are you sure master, I can help?" she offered again.

He waved her away, "I can do this Lili. Trust me, I am the Avatar. You can bet on it!" he told her proudly.

"And what do I win?" she asked flatly.

Aang was taken aback, "Win? What do you mean win?"

"You did say bet, did you not master?" she restated looking quite serious.

Aang cocked his head back, "Countess, that was just... uh, figure of speech, ya know... I was just…"

The Chief Lady waved a finger in his face. "No, no, no, your Grace. The Avatar must never speak frivolous words. He is the beacon for all mankind."

Aang sat back cradling his side with a wryly smirk. "Alright Lili, you name it. But you must know that I have little money and not much in the way of possessions."

"Hmmm, so you are the pauper Avatar," she giggled. "This won't cost you a penny, I swear."

"So name it," he said firmly, the pain beginning making to increase with each breath, "... or are you trying to wear me down?"

Her compassionate gaze made him wish he could take back his words, "No… far be it your Grace. I am your simple servant. I would like to be your full attendant for your stay at the palace. this is all I request, my master," she said as she bowed, head and knees to the floor.

Aang now felt thoroughly embarrassed. "Get up... get up, Lili! Don't go bowing to me like that!"

She stood up humbly with hands folded, "But, you are... the Avatar and the Last of the Air Nomads... my master. I should bow..."

He held up a hand, " Whoa... no bowing okay? And this attendant thingy... you mean like this morning? My valet?"

Her eyes seemed to quicken, "More than just a valet master," I would watch over your every need here. Much as I'm doing now. Of course, her Majesty would be my first concern, and she must not know of this," Lili noted, almost in a whisper.

Aang thought about it for a moment, before he asked, "Uh, Toph... not know, why?"

Lili now wrung her hands together, "You know my cousin, she... uh, can get quite jealous... and I wouldn't want to... uh... put her under undue stress. I'm sure you can see that... master," Lili told him as her eyes looked about the room.

"But won't she find out anyway... you know being the princess and all?" he asked, now holding his side.

"I will manage that your Grace, you needn't worry," she assured.

Aang lifted an eyebrow, "And what do I get if... I can do this... Countess?"

"I am your humble servant," she stated in a voice that could melt butter on a polar night. "Ask of me, whatever you will... and it will be as you wish."

Besides the ache in his side, Aang's heart was trying to claw its way out of his chest. Various types of adolescent requests passed through his mind. "She would probably do this or that?" he thought for a moment about favorite fantasy involving a waterbender and an earthbender, in a pool of mud. Suddenly the visage of a very angry earthbender shattered it all. He could feel the sweat starting to form on his brow. "Eh-huh, well, I'll just have another massage."

Lili pouted in disappointment, "And I thought you were thinking of something really naughty. A massage it is then. Do your best master, but don't try if it hurts too much."

He nodded as he kicked back the blanket. The airbender began to fold the air about him, lifting just above the surface of the bed. But when he tried to take in a deep breath, the agony in his side forced him to stop as he plopped back down on it.

He attempted again, this time rising higher, but the pain once again overwhelmed him. He was breathing heavily and every breath caused that dull, stabbing sensation to return. Aang was about to try again, but Lili suddenly laid upon him, pressing him back down.

"Enough, you'll injure yourself again and ruin all my good work," she barked, giving him a stern glare. "Think what will happen if you fall to the floor? Let me help you to the other room. I promise to make it all feel better master."

He sighed in defeat, "You won Lili. I don't know what kind of prize being my attendant will be though. I'm pretty messy!"

"Your full attendant," she reiterated with a beaming grin.

"What's the difference?"

She stood, "I'll explain that, after we get you into the other room and... you start to feel better again."

"Oh monkey feathers," Aang wondered, "...what have I gotten myself into this time?"

Placing an arm under his, Lili guided him off the bed and into the next room.

"Physical strength must run in the family," Aang commented jokingly as she easily bore his weight.

"You are just extremely light, your Grace," she replied. "I understood most airbenders were, is that true?"

It had been a while since anyone asked him about his people, "Yes, most were. There were a few exceptions, but they had difficulty getting off the ground," he laughed, causing his side to ache once more.

"Lie down here," she instructed him, pointing to the bamboo futon. He laid down, face first. Lili rubbed some lightly scented oil on her hands. She began to press a series of points on his back and neck, as he felt his pain miraculously subside.

From his satisfying oohs and ahs, she could tell she was hitting the right places. "Is that better your Grace?"

He groaned lightly, "Yes Lili, much better... but... I didn't win."

She chortle lightly,"This isn't a massage, master... but the start of the treatment. I am now going to straighten you. This may bring back some of your discomfort, but it will only be for a short time," she told him as she removed the long needle from his side. "When it does, let me know where it hurts, so I can repeat the process," she explained as she straddled him.

The Avatar gave her a thumbs up, manning up to the pain and not wanting to appear weak. Also the feeling of her thighs were a good distraction.

She took hold of his hips and lifted. A loud cacophony of cracks and pops ensued. Like she said, the pain returned but it was better than before, much more tolerable.

He remembered the monks at the temple performing the same types of healing treatments on other and somehow it made him feel warm and nostalgic.

Lili once more rubbed her hands together vigorously, warming them to begin again. She could hear Aang's small moans as she pressed and pulled. Finally, she was finished and Aang's ribs and back were back in their proper place.

The healer placed a series of needles in his back and suddenly he was feeling no pain, while she lit the soothing incense that she had place about the room.

In the stillness of the room, Lili sat crossed legged next to him mediating. Aang was intensely aware of her unique perfume as he turned his head and observed her in the greenish light of the crystals that illuminated everything. She seemed to be glowing as he felt a warm, comforting sensation.

"You need to remain still master," she commanded him, not bothering to open her eyes. "Looking at me will not help you."

"I beg to differ," he countered, with a grin. "I think it's done me a world of good already."

"As you wish Lord Avatar," Lili replied smiling slightly, feeling her cheeks flush. "I am here to serve."

The Avatar began to drift off to sleep. Remembering the frolicking earlier in the day with his blind lover. He could recall her smell, her touch... but mainly, her taste.

"Hmmm," he moaned as she removed the needles.

"Relax, this part is over and you have been an excellent patient," the countess told him in a silky tone.

He couldn't tell if this was real or a continuation of his dream. The sensation of the deep pins being removed confirmed he was awake.

"Sit up now your Grace, I need to bind your side once more," she instructed him as he groggily complied.

Aang could already feel how much easier it was to move and breathe as he followed her instructions. Soon he was tightly bound in a new linen strip. He was amazed at the lack of pain and how much mobility he had.

"This is amazing, you're amazing Lili," he complimented her with a nod. "One minute I'm bed ridden, the next I feel like I can lift a… a mountain."

"That would not be advisable yet," she playfully scolded him. "You still have to let your body heal a bit more. Drink some more of this," she said as she handed him another cup of the herbal remedy. "I will order your dinner now."

He nodded, "Yes, thank you so much... Lili? Where is the Princess now?"

"She is with her… I mean, your friends in her rooms. They are having something called a camp-in, I do believe," the chief lady informed him. "Well, that is what the waterbender wanted to call it anyways."

"They're having a camp out without me!" Aang sighed obviously upset. "Well, I guess it can't be helped in the shape I'm in," he sighed looking dejected.

She placed a reconciling hand on his shoulder, "That is a very mature position to take your Grace. You need to heal, and in order to do that, you should get back to bed and rest."

Once more he sighed deeply, "Yes Dr. Lili... bed."

Aang downed his drink and surprisingly, floated from the floor mat in the front room to the bedroom with ease this time. He felt that same surge of energy as he had before, but this time noticed something else was on the rise. He quickly covered himself with the blanket, hoping Lili had not noticed his condition. He was grateful he was wearing a loose-fitting pair of white pajama bottoms.

"Lili, where did you learn all this stuff from," he inquired nervously as she followed him into the room.

She fluffed the pillows on the bed, "I apprenticed when I was younger with a herbalist in the mountains. She had a strange cat. It absolutely loved plum blossoms. We used to treat the Earth Kingdom soldiers that were wounded or sick as they arrived. They always left better than they came. She said that was all that mattered. It was the best time of my life. She also taught me about the Way and being a Nomad."

"Forgive me Lili, I have not been treating you with respect," he admitted bowing forward as far as he could manage.

She lifted a well-trimmed eyebrow, "How so?"

"You are a nomad. Though you are not an airbender, you are still nomad."

"Thank you… master," she replied bowing with the proper hand symbol.

"I'm far from…"

"Please master, don't protest," she begged him. "You are the Avatar and the leader of all Nomads. The last of the airbenders and the High Monks."

"Yeah, you've already told me that," he exclaimed as he rubbed his forehead. "Sheesh, I wish I would have studied more!"

She sat down on the edge of the bed, touching his hand, "Don't fret master, you'll do fine. You have many years to learn the Way."

"Thanks Lili… I mean nomad Lili."

"Lili is fine, especially when we are alone, master."

"Then just call me Aang," he retorted enfolding her hands in his.

Their eyes locked as a powerful intimate silence engulfed the two of them. After a few tense moments, Aang released her slender hands. Lili looked back over her shoulder, dealing with the tumult of emotions she had just experienced. Aang simply closed his eyes.

"That tea does increase virility master," the countess commented with an underlying giggle, "...not that you needed any help in that area."

His brow furrowed, "What are you talking about?"

She pointed and as his eyes followed. Aang now saw a tent in the middle of his blanket. He took a pillow and rapidly covered the conspicuous spot.

"No need to be embarrassed," she said in a decidedly familiar manner. "As your full attendant, we've past that point."

Aang face grew redder, "Eh... Lili... what do you mean by that?"
