Chapter 66

Fading

"Argggghhhh... Toph... please... what are you doing to me?" Katara cried under the stress of the small djinn's grip as she had her pinned face first on the bed with her arms folded helplessly behind her back.

"Don't try to pretend anymore Wu," Toph sighed rubbing her eyes. "That poison you used on me is completely gone now and it's time for you to go as well," she stated as she let her foggy eyes light up with a greenish glow. "I admit this trip down memory lane was nice, but it's time for my Sweetness to come back. This is her life, not yours."

"B-but you're mistaken!" she yelled back turning her head to face the princess. "Wu, do you mean Auntie Wu, cause that's the only Wu I know Toph," Katara said flatly with a puzzled look on her face. "Honestly Toph, why are you having this woman do this to me? D-didn't we just make love and exchange delicate words?" she entreated her desperately. "Is this how you accept my love?"

Toph stroked Katara's soft chestnut colored hair. "If you were my Sugar Queen, then you would being freaking out about my eyes glowing. But you haven't mentioned a word... Wu. Plus, you would have been too embarrassed to even touch my boob let alone suck it," the princess declared as she stretched out beside the still nude waterbender., "My head is still a bit numb from the succubus' life force, but I feel like myself again and I know Katara, and you are not her. I have to admit, you had me going there for awhile. I just couldn't get my thoughts together and something felt.. off," the princess confessed twisting her lips. "I bet you confused her mind by blending your memories with hers. I bet you took in some of that poison as well to get her to do what we... did," she summarized with a snarled letting their noses touch.

A twisted smile spread across Katara's face. "That useless Rakshasi was good for something," Katara cackled uncharacteristically letting her tongue lick across Toph nose making the princess lurch back. "By the way, love the eyes you smart little thing you. Yeah, her juices worked on the both of you. This girl hides and binds her feelings for you. What a horrible waste! I just gave then vent, that's all" the deeper voice of her past life replied with a wink. "You didn't seem to mind."

Toph sighed deeply. "Wu, once Katara completely becomes herself and realizes what we've done, she'll be thrown into such turmoil, I'm afraid she may not be able to handle it," the princess announced wiping at her damp nose with her forearm. "She might end up losing her mind, what little she has anyway," the princess remarked shaking her head.

Even under the pain and stress of the arm locks, Wu grinned. "Oh my little love, you don't give her enough credit. Yes, some of that was me, but, realize, a lot was her as well. It took just a little nudge to get her to play for our team," she chortled loudly.

The petite general crossed her arms. "I'm not on your team. The only team I'm on is Aang's." she declared pointing a finger in Wu's face.

Katara grinned sexily. "That's not what I think after the way your tongue dove unabated in and about my insides. My innards are still quivering and the sight of you moistens me to no end!" she proclaimed breathing heavily "I can assure you, your friend would also revel in more of the same."

Wu's words seem to give the earthbender pause for a moment. Just for a moment.

Toph shook her head. "Nope, not Sweetness," she finally decided rubbing her forehead. "Accept it Wu, that was just you and me. And soon it'll all be a fading memory."

There was a flash of panic in the blue eyes of the waterbender. "S-so you plan on using your demons to erase all semblance of me from her consciousness do you my sweet liege? I really can't believe you after all we've done in a single morn?" Wu cried as the tears started to fall.

The young princess started to snicker. 'Knock off the waterworks. They never worked with me back then and they certainly won't work now," Toph declared starting to laugh even more.

Wu grimaced as she let out a long exhale. "You know me far too well my love. Any chance you like me better than your stuck up little friend?" she asked hopefully.

"Nope," Toph replied with a huge smile. "She may be a pain in my ass, but she's also the best girlfriend I've ever known. I see a bit of you in her as well Wu. I guess that gives me the best of the present and the past. " Toph stared into the restrained woman's eyes. "I really do love you, but she's the one I love the most."

The waterbender shrugged. "Wow, and I know I came at least a score of times under your gentle stroking Ci. If she became your lover, what wonders would she be blessed with?" she pondered outloud.

"Well, you'll never know, now will you?" Toph answered as she stood to her feet.

A true look of panic now filled Wu's face. "Wait... please wait Ci," she begged. "Wh-what are you going to do about your own mind, have them fix that as well? Can you truly put what we've just shared away so easily?" she asked with a loving doe like gaze.

"I'll manage," Toph retorted as she signaled for the djinn to lift the waterbender up . "Consider all those climaxes my going away present Wu, and it's nice to know I haven't lost my touch."

"Get your filthy hands off of me demon!" Wu roared as she now tried to kick at the petite being. "You don't know who you're fucking with. I made that fat worm Koh shit his nest!" she bragged even as Mimi dragged her off the bed and before the standing princess.

"I really don't think she cares Wu," Toph interjected rubbing her hands together warming and preparing them. "A single djinn would make a quick snack of Faces' stupid son. But you really don't understand that do you old friend," Toph expressed sardonically. "You've always just seen what was in front of you. I guess you and Fussy Britches don't have that much in common after all," she commented as the larger djinn returned to the room.

The Avatar is now safe your Majesty," she reported as she bowed her head to the marble floor. "The Rakshasi has been dispatched never to walk this plane again."

A sad expression gripped the metalbender as she steadied herself. "Look what you've done Wu! She was driven mad with hunger because you drained her! She was gentle and kind, a noble soul before you corrupted her!" Toph accused as her tears fell in grief.

The waterbender looked shocked. "Ci, you have changed! Tha-that's not true that I corrupted her! She was a spirit cursed man-eater! " Wu refuted in a bitter tone. "I recall that gentle and kind soul turning men into shriveled husks right before their families as she laughed at their tears and wails. I... no we, did this world a service by ending her! Good job Annie! If no one else tells you, I appreciate your fastidious service," Wu praised her with a bow of her head. "Ah, maybe a big strong girl like yourself can get this little one off of me so we can talk some more? What do you say, Annie, friends?" she offered batting her eyes at the simple creature.

"Sorry ma'am," the tall djinn apologized with a bow. "I cannot defy my senior or my mistress. Besides, Mimi is a lot stronger than I am," she divulged with a shrug of her shoulders.

"Yak Shit!" Wu cursed as she tested the smaller djinn's hold once more to no avail.

"Stop trying to delay the inevitable Wu," the Princess barked. "Hold her steady Mimi while I send the past back to the past."

The smaller one locked her iron hold down even tighter as Katara let out a yelp of pain.

"I'll have your hide as a dress bitch!" the ancient persona threatened as she began to thrash about.

"Easy Mimi," Toph warned, "Can't afford to break the waterbender... she was a queen ya know."

"Yes your Highness... I'll take all do care with this one," Mimi stated as she pulled her upright.

"Zhinu, you're gonna kill me yourself?" Wu asked in a shaking voice. "I was ready for one of these, things, to finish me, but you? I can't handle this."

"You see my dear Honey-Fly, I'm just going to go put you back where you belong is all. I don't know who brought you out, but I will find them and make them pay," the petite general promised as she cracked her knuckles by flexing her fingers. "Plus, I think you have a lot to hide up there, blue eyes," Toph exclaimed poking Katara's forehead.

The look of sheer panic that lit up the waterbender's face was a surprise to Toph as Wu started to jerk back against her supernatural holder. "Okay I hurt you Ci, so, so hurt me! I swear by La and Tui I will accept any punishment you choose but don't... please don't send me away! I've missed you so much! Please don't rape my mind!" she wailed in a ragged breath.

"Oh rape, that is an interesting word Wu, and I guess it is fitting in this case, but you are just too unpredictable for me not to know everything about why you're here," Toph remarked matter-of-factly.

Katara sneered and bared her teeth. "Damn you to the Nether World Ci, how could you do this to me!" Wu screamed out.

"How could you freeze me in a glacier for 100 years," Toph shouted back. "My feet and my hands turned black right before my eyes! Do you know what kind of horror that is for an earthbender!"

Wu was weeping openly."I-I know I was wrong and I got carried away! I admit, I was jealous of you two and he had all your time," she said as her lips trembled. "I-I tried to save you, but that fool wouldn't believe me... I swear!"

"I know and I forgive you," Toph said with a nod to the djinn.

Katara's eyes rolled back into head with a silent cry as Tsimi's sharp fangs sank once more into her neck. Mimi's eyes turned blood red while she drank from the waterbender and Katara started to moan and go limp. Suddenly the small djinn pulled back her head, retracting the bloody teeth, and Katara gasped lightly falling limp into Annie's powerful arms. The taller being easily lifted her off her feet.

"My Queen she has been prepared for you," Tsimi spoke softly. "Please be careful, she is quite a powerful personality. You would not want to be locked in her mind."

Toph acknowledged the warning with a single nod. "Annie, set her down in the chair and lets get started," Toph ordered quieting her own thoughts. "Be vigilant, the one who called Wu up may be near and waiting for another opportunity to get at us!" the princess instructed her djinns.

"Yes... your Highness," the djinns replied as they bowed. Anromia easily moved the waterbender into place. "She is seated and still unconscious, your Highness."

"Anromia take our mistress' hands and warm them properly," Tsimi directed. "Watch the heat and see to it her mind is steady."

"Yes Tsimi," she replied as the tall djinn now sandwiched Toph's hands between hers and immediately the earthbender felt the heat slowly rise. She sighed as her mind seemed clearer then it ever had."

"Oh that feels sooo good Annie," Toph hummed. "Do you do feet as well?"

"We have a limited window your Majesty," the smaller djinn stated curtly. "That is unless you want me to bite her once more."

"No, that won't be necessary," Toph replied as the TruthSayer placed her fingertips at Katara's temples and dove into her mind. There, floating above a line of past lives made up of both men and women, was the unconscious Wu. Toph gasped at seeing just how beautiful she was. She made Katara look almost, provencial. Still she recalled how precious the precocious Water Tribe woman was to her as she guided Wu to the gap in the line. Toph gently kissed her on the head. "Goodnight my sweet Honey-Fly." she said as all the lives became one image, that of Katara.

Mai opened her eyes to a familiar but painted face; it was Ty Lee in her Kyoshi Warrior uniform staring down at her while kneeling on the bed.

The dark lady sat up suddenly. "Ty, what are you doing here and how did you know what room was mine?" she asked as she tried to focus on the clownish face.

Ty Lee grinned widely at her. "Sokka told me where you were. He's in Suki's room with these freaky deep wounds on his back. We were fixing cutie up and I asked him if he had seen you and..."

Mai blinked a couple of times in surprise. "Deep wounds? When... how did he get those?" she asked as her bottom lip began to quake.

"Didn't know you two had gotten that friendly," the gray-eyed woman commented suspiciously.

"We're not!" Mai instantly denied all too loudly as she had to grab her head. "I-I was in on the battle is all," she stated in a quieter tone. "I didn't realize he had been injured so severely."

Ty Lee stared at her old friend for a while in silence as she tried to evaluate her words and aura. Mai was always a tough one to read with her firm emotion and psychic control but there were tinges and flashes of red in her usual drab and dreary astral self. The chi blocked decided just to let it go for now as she began to speak again. "I was told that evidently he got mixed up with some giant lady monster that wanted to eat him last night and she like really shredded his back, probably after he put that monstrous thing of his own to her," the former acrobat giggled..

Mai blinked several more times as if not catching the joke. She tried to process all that her old friend was saying but it just wasn't making it through her post coitus hangover. Him being hurt kept swirling around in her mind. "Huh, is he okay?" she stuttered softly not knowing exactly how to respond.

The young warrior's head rocked back a bit in surprise as her friend abstained from commenting on her penis joke. "Yeah, he's just fine," Ty Lee finally replied slowly as she sat down on the edge of the large downy soft bed. "The captain and I put some wound cream on the surface ones and she stitched up a couple of the baddies. Suki was gonna get his sister to fix'm up some more later in the day once everyone was up. She said it was an extremely long and tough night so she didn't want to bother her yet. Besides, it all looked worse than it was. Most of the cuts were pretty shallow, more like scratches in my opinion."

Mai lightly nodded her head. "That's good... that's good," she replied as she lightly rubbed at the knot of pain in her forehead right between her eyes.

Ty Lee looked concerned for her dearest friend and decided it was time to change the subject. "I'm gonna have to tell Zuko to go easy on ya girl. You guys really trashed this room!" she remarked with a wink and a long whistle. "This place smells like someone hosed it down with cum Mai! No wonder you're sleeping in so late. It's almost 9:00!"

The blade wielder glowered at the bubbly warrior. She appeared more annoyed than hungover. "Ty, please don't say anything of what you see, or smell here to Zuko. You know he'd be totally embarrassed if you did and I would never hear the end of it," Mai warned as she began to stretch letting the sheet fall away from her bare breast. "Besides, what is a bedroom for if not for making love?" she expounded as she slowly rolled her shoulders.

The white-faced woman cocked her head to the side as if pondering what she had been told."Well, how about sleeping," she replied with a crooked smile as she noticed her friend's lack of a nightgown. "Hey Mai, sis, I didn't know you slept in the buff. Oh I guess it's as circumstances dictate. get it, dick-tate," Ty giggled as she elaborated on her attempted pun. "Whew, but he really left you quite a few mondo hickies on those little boobies of yours," she laughed as she poked at one of the dark purplish spots.

Mai swatted the intrusive hand away with a stinging hit. "Ty Lee! You're getting as bad as that little earthbender! Please keep your hands to yourself!" Mail yelped as she pulled the sheet back up around her bruised breast.

Ty smiled tightly with an impish grin as she cradled and rubbed the back of her throbbing hand. "C'mon Mai, you've always were too shy, but I guess not in the bed. I didn't know Tophy liked to grab your girls?" she chortled taking hold of the satin sheet.

"Quit it Ty Lee," Mai barked wresting it away from the warrior's grasp. "That little pervert does it to everyone and uses the excuse that she's blind! 'How else can I know what you look like,' she says with that stupid toothy smirk on her face. And you're just as immodest! Leading those poor souls on and using them as your personal slaves!" she remarked still holding tightly to her covering..

Ty Lee exhaled slowly. "Yeah, can't argue with you there. Even belonging to an all girl troupe, I get hit on all the time. I guess this is the curse I must bear for being all so beautiful," she sighed in a mock melancholy fashion.

"Yeah, right, whatever," the dark lady replied rolling her golden eyes to far back and causing a a spike of pain to shoot through her head. "Ow, ow, ow, my head! See what you made me do you troublesome trickster? I have this horrific Agni cursed hangover and you're just making the situation worse!" Mai seethed through her gritted teeth. "Feels like a pride of moose-lions running through my head right now! In fact, everything is starting to hurt."

The painted woman's face broke into an evil grin. The devout teetotaler had no mercy for Mai's self inflicted malady. On the contrary, she took an almost grotesque joy in seeing the stricken woman suffer.

"Oh, that reminds me Mai!" Ty exclaimed raucously as she got to her feet all too quickly so that the bed would rock violently. The tawny haired woman took great pleasure in seeing her childhood friend's deep, nauseated grimace. "Some little lady that looked almost exactly like Tophy, but only with bigger boobs, came in with this tray of gross looking stuff. It made wanna throw up on the spot," Ty explained as she added gagging noises to her commentary. "Anyways, she claimed you would probably need it after the way you were drinking last night. I guess you put down more than Zuko's dick juices!" she exclaimed and laughed, slapping the side of her leg all to loudly. "I wonder which was the most intoxicating?"

Her comment now ignited Mai's ire. "What would you know of such things, Miss Tease'em but never Please'em," the pained lady fired back through her clenched scowl. "You're only comfort has been those stubby fingers of yours or maybe one of your new girlfriends have lent you a hand!"

The chi blockers eyes widened. "Ahhh, that' not fair or kind of you to say Mai! I'll have you know I'm no longer a complete maiden, though the threshold remains closed," she admitted with a bit of a pout,

Despite the massive headache and her vexation, the corner of Mai's mouth slipped into a grin upon hearing the tasty bit of gossip. "Don't leave me in the dark here Ty, details, details! Stranger or friend?"

Ty Lee's expression blossomed into one of a sweet romantic expression. "Who else would it be besides cutie Mai?" she asked rhetorically. "I would never let anyone else even get near my precious temple.'

Mai's inquisitive grin faded just as quickly as it had appeared. Her heart started to beat faster as somehow her friendly compulsion towards the playful warrior began to grow most hostile. "So you two, had a tryst of a sorts," she asked in a dry, vacant tone.

The love stricken woman sighed deeply, lost in her own remembrances and completely unawares of her friend's darkening mood. "Well, I wouldn't call it necessarily a tryst," Ty replied as she placed a hand on her heated cheek. "It was at Avatar Kyoshi's last birthday celebration and I saw him getting pretty smashed. Suki was busy officiating like, everything, so when I saw him step out, I followed. It was a dark night, only a sliver of a moon, so when I leaped into his arms and kissed him, he naturally thought I was Suki," she continued to explained as she closed her eyes and her voice became more ragged. "He was like a beast, pinning me to a tree and his hands, those magical hands, did something for me I never possibly could have ever done for myself," she confessed as her own hands started trembling. "I thought for sure he was gonna break my maidenhead then and there, but my cry of passion woke him up and he realized I wasn't the captain. I tried to get him to continue and I confessed all my feelings, but in the end Mai, all got got was a few more climaxes before he apologized and returned to the party," she concluded as she rubbed the back of her neck. "I thought he would surely tell captain, but the next day, she treated me the exact same way. But to tell you the truth Mai, I wanted him to tell her. Ty smiled once more as if a switch had turned her back to normal went off somewhere in her head. "Now you know every blessed detail Mai. Soon that man will be mine!" she proclaimed with a fist pump.

The small chuckle that Mai emitted let her know that her hangover was still present. "Ty, what makes you think just because he felt you up that he'll ever leave Suki?" she asked not following the chi blocker's logic.

Ty Lee gushed as she grinned brightly. "He felt that I was a virgin silly. What man doesn't want a virgin as his bride? Now it all makes sense why he hasn't married her before now. She's used goods and I'm brand new. After he's finished sowing his wild oats with her, he'll be looking to plow a fresh field and Mai, that'll be me!" the warrior exclaimed as she patted her chest proudly. "I'm young, strong and patient. I can wait until then."

"Well, good luck on that," Mai stated as she felt her head start to pound once more.

"Oh, I don't need luck my precious friend!" the tumbler shouted triumphantly increasing the smarting in her dearest friend's head. "I've had a vision! I've seen my blue-eyed children and him next to me. This is the will of Agni!"

Mai could only rub her temples recalling her boisterous companion's cruel tendency to become louder whenever she was hungover. She stuck out both her trembling hands. "Please Ty Lee, be an angel and, an-and get me a cup of that remedy that was brought in," she pleaded not caring now about her hicky-fied top was exposed once more. "Don't you love me?"

The tumbler grinned more fully as she saw that her stoic friend had resorted to the 'love card'. "You must be pretty desperate to say that," she thought as she took a cup of the vile appearing potion from the tray and carried it over. As she handed over to her shaking friend, she expected Mai to begin hurling chunks once she got even a smell of it, but to her amazement, the hurting woman easily gulped it all down, with a long breath of amelioration. "Another one please Ty," she asked handing her the completely drained cup.

"Shit, this is no fun," Ty thought as she exchanged cups. "It must taste better than it looks or smells."

This one Mai drank in slowly as if savoring the flavor of the thick dark liquid. Each sip seemed to be bringing her more relief.

Ty Lee upon seeing her relishing the obnoxious looking potion, took another whiff the third cup and immediately gagged, "This smells like a skunk-bear's ass! How can you even stomach this disgusting puke, let alone drink it so slowly?" she asked her friend in amazement. "I think the hangover would be better than drinking this!"

"That's because, much like real sex, you've never had a hangover Ty," she answered her now sullen companion without grimacing. Mai wasn't sure if it was the elixir or her thinking about him at the moment. She didn't feel anxious today or moody in the least. It felt as if a burden had been lifted or an extreme hunger satisfied somehow.

"Ty, be a dear and bring me a cup of that awesome smelling tea," Mai requested in an uncharacteristic singsong voice as she held out the second empty cup.

The warrior looked at her as if she had turned into some three-headed freak. "Mai... uh, are you okay?" she asked pensively.

"Just fine, in fact never better Ty. Why are you asking?" Mai inquired as she let the cup dangle from her long lithe finger. "Tea, please... ma'am?"

The chi blocker took the cup from the now too normal lady and sniffed it once more trying to detect the smell of any drugs that might have been laced into the foul concoction. She could pickup nothing as she prepared her a cup of the steeping tea. The only thing Ty could see was the red and brightly glowing aura that now encased her usually gloomy friend. "Zuko, I don't know what you did to her this time, but boy, it's a game changer," Ty Lee said to herself as she walked over with the steaming cup of tea,.

Mai attempted to pull herself up in bed but she was more sore that she had anticipated. Her legs gave out as they skidded upon the stain sheets jarring her in surprise. She had never felt this stiff before, not even from the grueling training of the Academy. Her brow furled tightly as she had to really concentrate to hold the sheet to her chest and push downward with her quaking legs against the slick sheets that seemed to be bunched under her almost paralyzed hips.

"What's wrong Mai, are you still in pain? Is your hangover returning?" Ty asked hopefully handing her the cup of fresh tea.

Mai took it as she relaxed back into the pillow that allowed her to sit up. "No, it's gone for good I think," she replied to the sadistic woman's angst. "Thanks for all your help Ty, I think I'm alright now. I believe I've gotten everything I needed... save for a hot bath that it."

The former Fire Nation elite assassin turned Kyoshi Warrior smiled brightly at her former cohort. "I'll go run you one Mai," she volunteered with a wink. "Can't have you walking around smelling like a cathouse now can we?"

Mai just blushed as Ty Lee left the room. She slowly drank the rest of her tea and again thought of him as she flexed her legs, feeling the strength return to them and the soreness subside. Mai slowly made her way out of the bed and stood, taking the top sheet with her. She hobbled over to the full-length mirror and opened her makeshift robe surveying the marks he had left upon her alabaster body. Each one brought back a memory that made her smile even more as she traced them with her hands. "You do have magical hands, and other parts milord," she exclaimed under her breath.

"All ready!" Ty Lee called from the bath. "Steaming hot just like you like it," she added as she emerged rolling down her sleeves.

Mai covered up once more as she started to walk into the bath. "Thanks again Ty..."

"Monster," the chi blocker suddenly said as she covered her mouth with both hands. "Lady Monster!"

"What?" Mai asked as she turned about to see what she was talking about. Her amber eyes doubled as she saw the blood stains from Sokka's back imprinted on the bottom sheet that she had uncovered when she got out of the bed.

There was anger and hate in Ty Lee's eyes as she glared at her old friend. "You... you weren't with Zuko last night were you?" she demanded to know as she crowded up to Mai. "You were fucking my man weren't you, you whore, you monster! Don't try and deny it. I recognize those marks from his back! You beast, you animal, you harpy-cat, you did that to him!" Ty screamed as she pushed the sheet clad woman to the floor. "You, you have a king at your beck and call! Why would you do such a thing... to me?"
