A Kiss in Ba Sing Se: Secrets and Promises

[A/N: There are times after the heat of Passion where life slows down, and truth can be spoken.

Chapter 77

Passion and Pain

Toph could still taste the slightly sweet, bitter saltiness of his ejaculation in her mouth. He had cum so quickly this time she did not have time to prepare and ended up with a mouth full of the viscous mixture. Swallowing it wasn't an option as it filled her cheeks, so she released it back onto his pulsing penis that slid upon the roof of her mouth. Her tongue and lips worked fiercely on his sensitive member as her hands alternated between fondling his testicles and twisting up and down the throbbing shaft causing Aang to convulse and groan loudly.

The subsequent sensation was so intense for the young airbender that his knees buckled and he had to steady himself on the edge of Toph's large oak desk. "Pl-please Toph… my love… have mercy," he begged as he felt himself weakening.

His call upon her compassion fell upon deaf ears as she focused on the hood and continued her sensual assault even as he slid to the floor. Finally, she had to take a breath, and that is when the intensity subsided.

Toph turned her face up towards him holding out her hands and spreading her fingers. A sticky web stretched between them even as a milky, glistening substance surrounded her mouth and covered her chin. Her flushed cheeks and foggy green eyes sparkled with the tears of her exertion.

To Aang, she looked like a naughty cherub as she delivered her signature prizewinning smile. Sitting across from him with her plain brown dress fully opened and half off her shoulders was as sexy as it could get, he thought to himself.

"So, Aang, do you think I've forgiven you?" she asked in a sultry voice that wouldn't let his erection subside.

The Avatar reached over to stroke her unkempt hair, pulling back her bangs that had fallen into her face. "Yes, but I haven't forgiven myself for being so petty," he exclaimed with a long exhale. "After all that has happened and Hidimbi dying and Fong getting hurt… trying to get me to see how serious this is, I acted selfishly," Aang told her as he cradled his head in his hands. How could I treat you like that? I love you so much Toph it feels like a dream! I'm a total jerk Toph!"

"No argument there flyboy," she replied reaching over to touch his chest. "Being a jerk is what you do! That and satisfying me," Toph added with a giggle.

Aang let out a long sigh. "Did you do this for me? You didn't owe me anything; in fact, I owe you… everything Toph," he said in a choked voice. "Hidimbi told me that I couldn't have defeated Ozai without you. She also told me how your kind saved the other three nations. By kind, I meant Thought Seer,"

Toph smiled warmly even as her tears fell. "I know what you meant, even without reading that perverted mind of yours," she answered moving in closer as he hugged her.

"I also know if it wasn't for your… what do you call them?" he asked nuzzling into her hair and enjoying the jasmine/orange scent she exuded.

"Some people call them familiars, but they are djinns or Genies to some," Toph explained. "In some fairy tales, they can grant wishes, but that's just cow-pig shit. They can do a lot, and it often seems like they are granting wishes."

"But I thought Genies lived in lamps," Aang said recalling the stories he heard as a child.

Toph began to laugh at his naivete. "Genies, djinns, don't live and lamps or any other worldly vessels, those are just gateway's between our world, and there's. Just like people, they live in cities or villages. Their world has mountains and forests, swamps and deserts too. Thought seers made a pact with them eons ago so that they could feed…"

Aang's brow knitted together. "So that part is true? Do they eat people Toph?" he asked with grave concern.

Toph sat back up so that he could see her face. "Listen Aang; I'm not going to lie to you. They can easily consume a person if ordered, but they think of humans more like we would think of a deer-goat or dairy sheep-cow. They feed off our emotions, both positive and negative ones. The stronger the feelings, the more they enjoy it. They have done things to help increase the output, but overall they don't do any harm… well not permanent harm, mostly," she mumbled under her breath.

Aang's mouth twisted to the side. "What do you mean by 'mostly,' Toph," he asked as his eyebrow rose.

Toph turned her away shyly, as he focused on the nape of her neck. It was incredibly delicate and slender looking. Aang wanted nothing more in the instance than to kiss it.

"Uh, well, you see… if a djinn and a human have intercourse, it's incredibly arousing for both of them. Unfortunately for the person, the djinn will take all of their emotions and memories leaving them… well, I guess you can say, empty. They can start over learning and having new experiences, but for a time they are just like a child. They have to relearn how to walk, talk and even who they are," Toph summarized for him. She suddenly felt his kiss on the back of her neck and leaned back into it.

"I'm glad your not a genie Toph because you're just too irresistible. I have a hard enough time just remembering anything when I'm with you!" he exclaimed working soft pecks about her soft throat. "I guess I'd just have to be a blithering idiot."

Toph giggled through her soft moans. "Who says you aren't one now?" she jested as she pulled her hair up allowing him better access. "Maybe it would be an improvement." Suddenly she felt a bit of a pinch right behind her ear, "Did you just give me a passion mark?"

Aang smiled as he admired his handiwork. The small, purplish mark resembled a violet against her pale ivory skin. "Yep, and a good one too!" he bragged.

Toph now let her hair drape back down.

"Uh, aren't you going to ask me to fix it?" Aang enquired, unsure of her expression.

"Nope," she said smugly.

"But what if your dad sees it," he countered with an equally smug tone.

"Don't care," Toph shot back. "It's not me going to be castrated."

Aang quickly stood up. "CASTRATED! But it's just a little hickey! Do you think he would really do something like that?" he asked as his voice rose an octave.

"If dad doesn't, you know Sugar Queen probably would. She kind of gave you a pass the last time because of the whole succubus thing. You don't have an excuse this time. I could just tell her you took advantage of a helpless, hapless, blind girl, and toyed with my affections," Toph espoused as she reached over to begin stroking his penis.

Just the way she was touching him and twirling her finger about the tip was causing his manhood to rise and stiffen. Aang's thoughts and fears began to drift away. "Toy… who really is toying here… my love," he gasped, starting to sway with her motion.

Toph added her second hand. "Aang, my love, you are going to fill me with this magnificent rock and claim me as your own! Do you understand?"

"Right here, right now?" he asked as his cheeks flushed brightly.

"Yes, right here, right now before any more interruptions. I did the honors the first time, now it's your turn," Toph told him as she spat upon his engorged member and continued to massage it, feeling it grow further. "Have you done anything special to make him bigger?" she asked. "It definitely feels bigger than before."

Aang looked down at himself. Her hands were gliding up and down, but he still saw the size. "Nope, it looks the same as always," he told her as he slowly laid her back, positioning himself between her thighs. "Are you ready Toph?"

She felt him latch on to her nipple as she leaned back on the stone tiles. Her hands were gripping his strong, lean upper arms to control her descent. Suddenly the memory of her time returned, and she recalled the piercing pain she brought upon herself. Though it was brief, it was still significant.

"Aang, stretch me out a bit with your fingers before you put it in, okay?"

He nodded, and it shook her breast that filled his mouth.

The Avatar slipped in a finger, and after she was slicker, he added the second, scissoring against her hymen as he had heard from Zuko to do. Sokka didn't have to contend with one with Suki. Her extreme athleticism and her pursuits with other women had taken care of that small inconvenience before they came to the island.

Toph felt Aang position himself at the divide of her vulva, and then the unthinkable occurred.

"Your majesty, your grace! Please come quickly," Lili called through the closed door. "His majesty, the Vice Regent, has been gravely wounded. His sister has already left to attend to him!"

Toph pushed Aang so hard off of her that he landed on his back, banging his head on the leg of the desk. "OW Toph, that really hurt," he complained as he rubbed the top.

She didn't even acknowledge his words, just bolted up to open the door. "Lili, what's wrong with Snoozles?" she demanded loudly.

The Countess stood shocked that Toph's dress of wholly undone in the front, and Aang laid on the floor, shirtless with his trousers about one of his ankles. She quickly pushed the semi-dressed princess back inside and closed the door behind them.

"The Vice Regent got involved in an altercation of some type, and as a result was wounded, I know not how," she informed Toph as Lili pulled the dress up and began to button it. "They were in the Lady Mai's room at the time, and there he lies. The messenger said much blood was spilled and the two ladies requested he come and get the Lady Katara," she concluded.

"Aang, carry Lili to get her medical kit and then rush to Mai's room, I assume she knows the way," Toph instructed him as she swallowed hard. "Where are Mei Mei and Lei?"

Lili saw the deep concern wash over Toph's face. "They are watching over Fong; she is resting comfortably."

"Assign another attendant and tell them to come and help me wash and dress quickly. Time is of the essence, and I dare not arrive there in this state," Toph noted.

Aang already had his trousers back on and secured even as he pulled on his tunic as Lili rushed from the room.

"How's your head," Toph asked as she crossed her arms in front of her.

"He's gonna be okay," Aang replied seeing the tears starting to fall from her eyes.

"Oh… he's so close to the Spirit World! I'm so afraid Aang! There's nothing I can do!" Toph cried as she covered her eyes.

Just then Lili stepped back in followed by Lei and Mei Mei.

"Hurry Aang! Run as fast as you can," Toph pleaded. "I would die if I lose my Capt. Boomerang!"

Aang swept Lili off her feet and ran out of the room in a blur.

"Come, help me look presentable," Toph asked in a broken voice of her cousins as she held out her arms.

The shuriken embedded in Sokka was of a unique design that folded out into four curved, razor-sharp blades as it spun. Three of those four were inside of him and had cut deeply.

This weapon was created to do the maximum damage no matter where it hit its victim. Mai knew that Suki could easily deflect the vicious looking blade or avoid it all together. She did nothing to hide her movements and even telegraphed the direction she was throwing to ensure the Fan Master wouldn't be harmed.

Suki, in turn, meant to only send the nasty, massive throwing star into the wooden door and out of Mai's reach. This way their mutual pride would be intact, and they could talk things out calmly.

Suki had fought alongside the Fire Nation Lady long enough to know she wasn't serious. They had cussed and screamed and even threw each other about.

Suki found herself more than a bit turned on by the tall beauty and even attempted to kiss her. That's when Mai kicked her across the room and threw the shuriken half-heartedly. It was Suki's backhand swat that sped it up and as the door opened, it couldn't have been better or in Sokka's case, the worst timing.

Suki tried to steady the blade as well as stem the loss of blood. From the many wounds they had witnessed on the battlefield, they knew he was critical, and unless something more could be done, he could bleed out internally.

Each lady breathed a sigh of relief as they heard Katara running down the hallway at full speed calling out his name. Just the sound of her voice seemed to rouse him back to consciousness. Katara's hands were already glowing with the water she had bent from her waterskin. Mai had also asked for a basin of clean water and bandages be brought. They had arrived shortly before Katara.

"Sokka!" his sister cried out to him as she knelt down beside him. Mai was holding up his legs to keep what blood remained up in his torso. Suki now had a wad of blood-soaked bandages on top of the wide wound. "Stay with me!"

The wounded man nodded signifying that he understood.

The waterbending healer had to steady her nerves before she could start to treat her precious brother. The ordinarily vibrant brown young man had a pale, ashen look in his face. A Katara checked his pulse, it was beating far to fast.

As she touched him with her bright glowing hands, the damage became apparent. It was extremely bad inside. He had deep lacerations that opened many blood vessels. Katara tried to control the bleeding from the largest ones first. She had to focus extreme effort to bloodbend during the day all the while praying silently to Tui and La for his life.

"Where is that half-assed royal physician," Mai demanded of the attendants around her, "Wasn't he summoned and told this was an emergency?"

A young woman who was assisting her in holding up Sokka's legs slowly shook her head. "I believe he was still in his quarters. If so, he will be slow in the coming unless it was for the King," she answered.

Suki watched as Katara worked frantically, but the glow was getting weaker, and she saw the look of panic growing in the young healer's blue eyes.

Just then a strong gust of wind rushed over them as Lili and Aang seemed to appear out of thin air. Aang was breathing hard as he put Lili down.

Lili pushed next to Suki who was still holding pressure. "What's his condition she asked?"

Suki swallowed hard. "He's lost a lot of blood, and we can't seem to control the bleeding. Katara is working her ass off, and it's slowed some but still not enough."

Lili nodded her understanding opened her med-kit. She rolled out a linen cloth that had a variety of long needles. "When I tell you to move away Lady Suki, please let go and give me this space. I'm going to block off some of these blood vessels and reverse the flow," Lili requested as she chose her first needle. Lili prepositioned it, "Move!" she yelled, and Suki fell back out of the way. As soon as she did, Lili inserted the first needle, and Katara detected that a number of the vessels had stopped flowing inside. Lili began to feverishly insert needle upon needle.

Katara sat back on her heels and wiped the sweat from her brow with her long sleeve. Lili had slowed or stopped most of the leaks, but Sokka was still terribly weak. His critical chi flow had dropped, and this would take a monumental effort on her part to try and balance his with hers. She was already beyond exhaustion, but she wasn't going to let her beloved brother slip away.

Katara felt someone move up behind her and wrap their arms around her waist.

"His aura is weak, and his life chi is blocked. I can help you," Ty Lee whispered into the healer's ear. "Just focus on my voice, and we'll do this together, okay Cutie's sister?"

The waterbender nodded as she felt the chi-blockers fingers being to press into her lower abdomen. Almost instantly Katara felt a rush of warmth and power, much like she did when there was a full moon. The ex-acrobat continued to work the healer's pressure points until Katara felt like she was overflowing with strength. "This won't last long, so you have to work fast," the gray-eyed Kyoshi warrior informed her.

Katara bent new water, and instantly it was glowing so bright they could barely look at it. It seemed to flow directly into Sokka as traces of light danced over and around the wound.

"How is he?" Toph asked as she quietly stepped up to join the group flanked by Mei Mei and Lei.

"Better," Lili said as she applied more needles to help with the onset of pain. "This Lady has aided Lady Katara in building up his strength," she told Toph, indicating Ty Lee. "We still need to remove the blade without any more damage. Would you please oblige us, my princess?" Lili asked as she took Toph's hand and place a finger on the tip of the exposed weapon.

Right before their eyes, the apparently sturdy shuriken seem to reform upon itself into the shape of a spindle which floated effortlessly out of the young man's body.

Lili already had needle and thread in hand as she began to sew where ever was needed. Suki checked his pulse. Even though it was still slightly elevated, it was slowing and stronger. She nodded as Katara and Lili looked her way.

Lili finally stitched close the gash the whirling blade left, and Katara washed away the gore with the clean water. Both women exchanged smiles as they looked on their patient.

Katara turned around to thank Ty Lee, but she was already gone.

But a very unwelcome person did finally show up, and Mai could not contain her anger. "Where the fuck were you," she demanded to know.

The Royal Physician frowned. "Why are you swearing at me, little girl? I am the chief physician so get out of my way and let me attend to the patient," he demanded.

"You go near that patient, and I will personally behead you," the blade wielder threatened, pushing him back.

"And how will you accomplish that?" he asked arrogantly. "Is see no sword."

"I don't need a sword for a big bloated, rotten carcass like you," Mai informed him as she placed her sharp lacquered nails to his throat, drawing blood.

"That's enough Mai," Toph ordered stepping over to them. "I'll take care of this."

"But Toph, this old douche bag would have let him die! We called, I called for help, and he is just now getting here, why? Why didn't he come?" Mai asked, driving her nails in a bit deeper.

"I said, step away Lady Mai," the princess said more firmly. "Or do you want me to get the Fire Lord involved?"

There was silence for a few moments before Mai retracted her hand. "No, I'll let you handle your own people Toph. Sorry for my insolence," Mai apologized.

The Royal Physician turned to face Toph and gave a slight bow as he held his bleeding neck. "I demand that you arrest this woman for assault of a court official in the performance of their duty, General Bei Fong!"

Toph walked over to Physician with a calm smile. "Bow," she commanded.

The older man looked about at all the eyes staring at him. "But, princess, I am wounded!"

"Bow," Toph repeated.

This time he managed to bend somewhat at the waist. "Your royal majesty, I was…"

"BOW!" Toph now yelled pointing to the floor.

The Royal Physician slowly went down on his knees and then lowered his head to the ground. "Mercy please your Majesty, I was only trying to perform my duty," the elderly man pleaded.

Toph placed her foot on the back of his head. "Do you know who that wounded man is my lord?" Toph asked.

"Uh, I heard it was a Water Tribe official is all," he managed to say into the floor.

"That man is Sokka, the Vice Regent for all the confederated cities and lands. He holds title in every Nation as well, and if he were to die in this palace, then you and all your staff would have been executed immediately!" Toph informed him as she stepped harder on the back of his head causing him to groan in pain.

"Toph, I think he understands," Aang said trying to intervene.

"No Avatar, he doesn't understand yet!" she spat back. "This shit eating dung-fly maggot did not come expediently when you were hurt, and now he delays and puts Sokka's life in jeopardy! I cannot abide such carelessness! He must make atonement!"

"Mercy," once more the old man cried out as he felt his face being ground into the cold stone.

"You're hurting him Princess Toph," Aang said as he lowered his voice to add authority. "As the Avatar…"

Toph removed her foot. "Fine Avatar, I will show mercy, but this...this thing must leave Ba Sing Se and never return, is that clear!" she ordered. "Now get him out of my presence!" she commanded the attendants around them.

As the old physician was helped to his feet, his forehead, nose, and chin were bleeding profusely. He was groaning and huffing as if he were the one on the edge of death. The servants around him lead him away even as he tried to vent his complaint to them.

Toph now approached Aang. She grabbed him by the collar and pulled him down so that she could whisper in his ear. "Never, and I do mean never interfere when I am disciplining a servant! I love you but this is my station, and I am their liege, Avatar. I can assure you, if I wanted to execute that old fool, he would be dead before you could blink an eye. What I did, saved his life! Do you think Mai wouldn't have made good to take his head? She was deadly serious, trust me, I know," Toph explained releasing his clothes with a gentle pat.

"My apology Toph, I won't do it again," he whispered back to her. "I love you too."

The princess' face flushed slightly more at the Avatar's apology and confession. Luckily no one was watching as every eye on gazing at their wounded comrade.

Finally, Katara allowed herself to cry. Not only cry, but she also began to weep almost uncontrollably.

"Go to her Aang, she needs you," Toph said wiping her own sightless eyes. "We'll have to reschedule our date. Right now, Katara and Snoozles need us."

As soon as Aang knelt beside Katara, she threw herself on him, crying loudly into his shoulder. He hugged her tightly and spoke words of comfort to her, kissing her gently on the top of her head as she began to calm down.

"Lili, have the Vice Regent taken to my suite, with Fong there, it's gonna look more like a hospital ward than a bedroom," Toph sighed loudly. "But this way Lili and Katara can look after both of them.

"Yes your majesty," the countess acknowledged with a bow as she started to relay orders to those around her.

"Thank you Toph," Katara muttered out as she reached over and clasped the princess' hand. "I know you were looking forward to your date."

The petite princess smiled at her longtime friend. "No bigs, we'll just have to pick a better time. I really couldn't have a good time knowing that Sokka was hurt anyways," Toph said with a shrug. "Aang, take care of Sokka and Katara."

"Where are you going?" Katara asked Toph.

Toph smiled her classic wide grin. "Oh, I'm going to have to tell my dad why I just exiled the Royal Physician and why I stepped on him. He might be a bit put out at me," she admitted, rolling her muted green eyes.

That brought a slight smile to Katara's face.

"Mai, Suki, walk with me," Toph asked as Mai Mai and Lei fell in behind them.
