Thanks again for reading and reviewing my stories. With the crazy holidays and my birthday, getting chapters out took a while, I hope to get more out to you soon! As always I do not own AoT or any of it's characters, only my own OCs. Please leave more reviews, I love hearing the feedback 3

The sun shone through the window of Levi's room, the warmth dancing on my skin. My eyes fluttered open, face still pressed against his arm from the night before. It took a moment for my eyes to adjust, blinking in the bright room. Wincing as I rolled to my back and to the other side of the bed, I stood up slowly, letting my body adjust to the added pain all over. Quietly, I made my way to the shower, turning the water to a cooler temperature before stepping inside. I hissed as the cold water drenched my burnt back, each individual burn throbbing and stinging. I grabbed Levi's soap doing my best to let the suds run down my back to clean the burns better. I sighed frustrated at the pain more than anything. My thoughts constantly flashing to the events at my family's house. This was just a taste, they were going to be out for blood much harder than normal and now that they knew the Survey Corps was behind everything, they were not going to hide in the shadows through other agents. They were going to declare full on war.

Hands on my waist brought me right back to reality, startling me slightly. I leaned back into Levi as he trailed kisses along my shoulder. I smirked at the thought of the first time I saw him, his raw brutality against Eren making me so excited and here he was being all gentle. Through all the pain I had gone through, I'd do it over and over again just so I could feel this from him. I turned around smiling at him, placing a gentle kiss on his lips, my hand grazing his bruised ribs gently causing him to wince slightly. He had somewhat dark bags under his eyes, making me wonder if he even slept at all last night.

"You okay this morning?" He nodded sighing.

"You snored at one point and then drooled on me; not sure I can take much more of that." He joked causing my knee-jerk reaction to smack his chest. He winced hard and I immediately felt bad.

"You can't use sarcasm with me until you heal up god damnit." I scolded. He leaned against the shower wall, crossing his arms over his chest loosely.

"I can't promise that." I smirked, taking in all the bruises on him. He had a number done to him and looked like he was trampled by horses. My fucking family…I growled internally. "You know this isn't even the worst I've been through." He read my damn mind.

"I don't care, it could've been prevented." He shook his head.

"I won't let you go back to that bullshit. You're finally showing your real genuine side to you here, why the fuck would I want that to stop." I rolled my eyes and scoffed.

"What a selfish asshole you are." He nodded smirking.

"Not to mention I get to enjoy a lot more than your personality." I rolled my eyes again, laughing. He wasn't wrong about that. Even through the events at my family's house, the light feeling I got here with the Survey Corps was irreplaceable. I don't care how much danger I'm in, I'm staying for good. We finished our very uneventful shower, both of us too sore to handle anything after last night. Must've been all that adrenaline still that allowed us to do what we did. It took both of us more than our fair share of time to get dressed and get down to the chow hall. Hange immediately ran to me, hugging me hard causing me to yelp. She clearly forgot I had burns on my back, or she just didn't care. It was nice though to feel so much love from more than one person. Genuine caring.

"Don't scare me like that jerk." She whispered causing me to laugh.

"Yea I'll try not to." She finally let go, allowing me to sit down for breakfast. Squad Levi looked fairly somber this morning as Levi, and I sat down.

"I'm so sorry!" Mikasa burst out startling us. Not one to apologize, nor did she like me at all, I was surprised as she bowed her head apologetically. "We caused this…" I shook my head and smiled.

"No, my family is just shit. No matter what, they would've done something like this, if not yesterday then one day and it could've been much worse than it was." She opened her mouth to protest but Armin nudged her, silencing her.

"Your family is pretty active today. We received intel that they are out for blood. Get this, they spun a story that the Survey Corps and Levi are holding you against your will." I groaned rubbing my temples.

"I didn't hear any complaints last night. Or the night before." Levi retorted sipping his tea. He basically just bomb dropped our relationship right at the table causing his soldiers to stare at him wide eyed, jaws to the floor. Hange was the only person smiling ear to ear. We had done pretty good about keeping everything under lock and key with only sneaking suspicions, but he laid it right out there. All eyes glanced at me now as I stared at Levi with a smirk on my face.

"What's there to complain about? I'd say you're doing a damn good job at keeping here at my own will." Eyes darted back and forth between Levi and I who both were smirking now together.

"Can we avoid the next step in talking dick size while I eat my sausage." Hange joked, taking a rather ruthless bite of her sausage. I giggled and wiggled my eyebrows at her, and she sighed loudly.

"I wish she'd eat my sausage that vigorously, though." It was my turn for my eyes to widen as I threw a roll at Levi. I'm pretty sure every kid at the table about lost consciousness as Hange and I both yelled his name. He chugged the last of his tea before standing up for his meeting with Erwin.

"Just when I thought I landed a gentleman." Hange burst out laughing as we both watched Levi leave the dining hall.

"So, it's real then…you guys really are a couple?" Eren asked in awe. I nodded, taking a bite of my bacon happily.

"I've never heard the Captain talk like that…I don't ever want to experience that again." Jeans face was absolutely horrified making me laugh again.

"Just…how?" I tilted my head at Mikasa, "How is there any personality in that runt's body that any woman finds attractive?" I thought for a moment, placing my finger over my chin.

"Well, it wasn't his personality that I enjoyed." Hange glared at me, her sausage still at the end of her fork and I couldn't help but laugh. "Well that too, but I really took to his ruthlessness more than anything else." Mikasa looked at me like I was mad. "What can I say, he's much more dominant than I am and I'm pretty fuckin dominant. It's nice to have someone who can handle my shit." Hange giggled finishing her sausage finally.

"I'll say! You're a special kind of crazy and so is he. I'd say you match up really well." I nodded in agreement finishing my breakfast and chugging the last of my coffee. Mikasa looked quite disturbed though Eren, Armin and Jean were all beat red. Clearly this conversation was much too soon for them. I stood up, Hange following suit as she gulped down her coffee.

"Walk with me to Erwin's office." She noted as we headed out of the chow hall, leaving the shocked kids to their own thoughts. She strode next to me for a good minute, stopping before we got to the office. "I really do consider you my friend Alessa." This conversation came out of left field. I smiled at her and agreed. "I need you to understand where I come from with this though." I looked at her quizzically now. "If I find out you're double agenting me and plan on fucking him over, I don't care what he'll do to you, I will get to you first and hell will be unleashed." I couldn't help but smirk, causing her to stare at me confused.

"I love how protective you are. You've got nothing to worry about Hange, I'm more worried it's me that's going to get fucked over." She shook her head but that was still something my head liked to remind me of. That trust is never fully given and that everyone will more than likely fuck you over so why allow yourself to get fully involved. But I did, I got fully involved. Completely invested physically, mentally and emotionally to Levi faster than I ever thought possible. He was like a magnet for me, a constant pull no matter what he did. Beneath his asshole attitude, his cold calculating ruthlessness, he cared, and cared enough for me to see it.

"He may not look like it, but he's got a big heart and plenty of morals for himself. He's too honest to succumb to any dumb shit for you to worry about." It was a weird sentence to hear about Levi. Most people just talk about him like he's the coldest person out there. Mean, calculating, ruthless, no regard for anyone but himself. He's the best and knows it. And while a lot of that is true, it was still weird to hear it out loud that he was a genuinely good person, even if I already knew it.

We stepped into Erwin's office and immediately his eyebrow arched as he eyed me. Well shit, what did I do now?

"Is this…" He pointed between me and Levi, "going to be an issue?" I tilted my head, but it seemed that Levi explained to him our situation a little more detailed. I shook my head, but Erwin's eyes narrowed. He eyed me for a moment, his trust in his Captain significant compared to the lack of trust he had for me. We moved past the issue, Levi getting away with fraternizing with his subordinate; at least for now. We moved onto the next big issue, which surprised the absolute hell out of me.

"What the fuck do you mean my brother wants to transfer to the Survey Corps?" I stared at Erwin completely flabbergasted. He nodded handing me a letter. Jason mentioned in his letter how wrong things started feeling in the family. They were up to something and he wanted no part of it. His offer to avoid sitting in a cell getting tortured by the Survey Corps was that he would provide a constant flow of information. Anything and everything that he could give, he would do so, and if need be, I could sign off on the information he gave. I stared at the letter surprised, and not sure how to feel. Jason was as much of a snake as I was, if not more so. He's conned his way in and out of so many situations I couldn't even begin to describe.

"If you say no, we won't allow it, but I want you to think damned hard right now. The amount of information he is saying he can offer is crippling to so many organizations inside of Wall Sina that the Survey Corps could end up in a really good spot if all the information he says he has is true." Erwin stared menacingly at me, as if it would scare me or something. "I keep finding myself relying on you and trusting you out of necessity and I don't like it." I rolled my eyes.

"Sorry, sir, can't really help it if you don't trust me. I've given you information countless times and I've had the backs of your soldiers' time and time again as well. Whatever it takes for you to trust me, I don't really care. The only person in this room whose trust I care for is that of your best soldier and Captain and I will do what it takes to ensure that trust isn't broken." Erwin glanced at Levi whose face remained emotionless. I followed his gaze and glanced at Levi whose eyes never wavered from my face. Even now, I know he didn't fully trust me, but he was willing to try and that's all that I asked for.

"If you approve, you better keep your brother in line. You're either part of this or you're not. If you want my trust, you make damn sure not a single line isn't out of place in this situation." I groaned.

"I'm a Cadet, what makes you think he's going to listen to shit I say?" Erwin's face stayed steady through his glare.

"From this moment, your rank is back to Captain. Your brother, if you choose to accept him here, will be under your command along with a select few soldiers Levi has screened." I glanced over at my emotionless boyfriend. Really, bastard, you couldn't tell me. I smirked to myself but kept my composure in front of bushy brows while he spoke. "This is also the only way you two work out without me having to get rid of you both on the books. Now you don't have to sneak around…" He shot a glare at Levi. "Do me a favor and don't make me regret it." I nodded, nearly jumping up and down excitedly to finally have my Captain's title back. "Your mission still will be the same when we head back to the city, you will not brief your new team. You are the only one going." I nodded, taking the packet of papers Levi now handed me. "Levi screened many soldiers; however, you have final choice. Enjoy your homework. Now get the fuck out." I chuckled with a "gladly" reply, heading out of Erwin's office.

I took the stack of papers straight to Levi's room, plopping down at his desk and pouring myself a drink before going over all of the applicants. I was going to approve my brother, even if he was under cover or being shady, his lethal skills were invaluable. So, he was teammate number one. Teammate number two…it took a while for me to land on a decision for this one. This was a girl with stellar marks across the board, her only issue was insubordination consistently through training. As I read the notes, I couldn't help but laugh as I saw myself in this girl. She was going to be a great challenge and a great teammate. Teammate number three…I landed on a boy, not so great marks and was around Eren's age, but he had incredible marks for strategy and planning. I couldn't have Armin, so I'll train a mini version of him then. Lastly, I chose a fourth, just incase Erwin allows it. He was cocky, and as far as his notes read, a firecracker, but his speed and stamina were nearly flawless. He just needed better teamwork skills, and that I could help him with. Jason, Rani, Benjamin and Ryder. These were going to be my band of rebels and misfits.

Levi finally joined me, grabbing my drink and chugging it before I even had the chance. I glared at him as he set the empty glass on the table, looking over my choices. He nodded in approval, tossing the others in the trash. I poured myself another drink, this time chugging it before Levi could take it again.

"At this rate I'm going to have to double up on my booze supply." He joked, leaning against the wall next to the desk, grabbing the half bottle of whiskey drinking it straight from the bottle.

"You should've done that the moment you drank with me in the living room." He shrugged and smirked.

"I didn't anticipate sharing with you more than once."

"And this is where you failed." I joked, snatching the bottle and filling my glass again.

"You know you're going to meet your choices in a little while. It won't take long for them to get here; do you really want to train them drunk?" I giggled and nodded.

"Where's the fun in a serious and sober squad leader?" He arched his eyebrow and I laughed. "Oh, wait that's you."

"I'm not always sober, I just handle my liquor better than you." He took another swig. "I can't handle all that teenage angst without it." This time I laughed and nodded. All these teenagers surrounded us daily, I didn't blame him there. I sipped at m drink some more, swirling it in the cup.

"I can't handle my brother when I don't know what the truth is without it." I mumbled, tossing back what was left in the cup. Levi watched, a deep-set frown forming on his face.

"Do you think your brother is going to fuck us over?" I shrugged, snatching the whiskey again pouring another glass.

"At this point I'm ready for anything. I don't know here his feelings are with this whole issue. Even when I was in the MP's we didn't talk about family. It just was there, and we did our jobs like normal. Now, shit's just complicated." I sighed leaning back in the chair. Levi finished the last little bit of whiskey in the bottle and tossed the bottle in the trash. He pushed himself off the wall, leaning down and kissing my head before he headed to the door with the stack of candidates to leave.

"You'll be fine. And if your bother gets out of control, I'll just kill him, and problem solved." I couldn't help but chuckle as he left the room, though now that I think about it, he was probably very serious. I quickly finished the last of my drink, praying this was going to be enough to face all these people including my brother. I took another minute to compose myself before making my way downstairs and outside. I was definitely enjoying the tingling in my cheeks, but I wouldn't even say I was close to buzzed. I sighed wishing Levi hadn't finished the other part of the bottle as I strode forward where he stood, new recruits being unloaded out front in hordes. With the Survey Corps gaining so much more notoriety, it was surprising to see this many people. Levi and I watched from a distance as they were greeted by other senior soldiers, Eren included. Many of the new soldiers wide eyed and excited to meet the titan boy.

Hange made her way over to us, eyeballing the new recruits excitedly. Many glanced in our direction, a few in awe that Captain Levi himself was standing mere feet away. The novelty would end though once he started making them clean. I chuckled quietly at the thought, though apparently loud enough to catch a curious glance from Levi. I shook my head and waved it off as nothing. The group of new recruits made their way right towards us and I was certain one of the girls in the group was about to pop with how red she turned. Her eyes stayed fixed on Levi and I couldn't stop the smirk on my face. Again, he glanced at me, looked towards the red-faced girl and rolled his eyes as he realized why I was smirking.

"Um…Captain Levi sir…. it's a pleasure….." She couldn't get the words out before profanity started flowing out of Levi's mouth as he turned and walked away causing me and Hange to burst out laughing. The poor girl had no idea why we were laughing and even grew redder. Eren stood by, a chuckle escaping his lips as well.

"Don't mind cranky ass over there, he can't handle niceties." I joked, getting the finger from cranky ass himself in the distance. Hange and I introduced ourselves and managed to make the full-blown introductions rather painless.

"Speaking of cranky asses, I'm surprised you didn't introduce yourself as such." A few gasps rang through the group of recruits as my name was still quite popular within Wall Sina for being basically bat shit crazy and ruthless myself. The new recruits definitely knew about me and the fear on their faces just then was proof of that. An evil smile played across my face as I knew exactly who that was. Jason stepped up to the front of the group staring down at me smirking. "Not to mention how less intimidating you are when at this height." I landed a swift punch to his leg as he yelled out, forgetting who he was messing with.

"And please excuse retardation here as he doesn't remember how fucked up his sister is." Everyone glanced between Jason and I nervously and just like we used to be, easily joking and catty like shit never changed. "Okay everyone, if you're on my squad, get your shit let's go." To my dismay, the girl who looked timid as hell walked towards me. "What's your name Cadet?" There was no way this girl was the one I chose.

"Rani, ma'am." I stared at her surprised. I must be missing something…but before I could really think, squad Levi joined my group, walking with us as we were all heading to the hand to hand combat training grounds. The Rani girl, still for the life of her, could not take her eyes off Levi. It was like she was witnessing a mythical creature for the first time in her life. I kind of thought for a moment, yes Levi was a mythical creature, humanity's strongest solider, sexy as hell, deadly and delicious. Delicious? Why not. Levi matched my pace ahead of the cadets and his team. The plan was to let the two teams go up against each other in hand to hand and a few other bits of training to evaluate the levels that the new recruits were at. As soon as we stopped and turned to the cadets, they nervously anticipated what we had in store for them. Mikasa, Armin, Eren and Jean stepped out onto the training field awaiting the cadets. We explained the purpose of the exercise and let them pair up. I made sure to put Jason against Mikasa, knowing full well it'd be great to see that match.

Levi and I stood back and watched as the sparring was underway. I fully comprehended the insubordination marks for Rani now as every two seconds her face was off her opponent and right on Levi. No matter how many hits the girl took though, she took them like a champ, just more preoccupied with Captain Handsome now. I rolled my eyes chuckling to myself. I was going to have my hands full with this one, especially since it was no secret among all the rest of the soldiers that Levi and I were an item. I watched as Benjamin struggled to fight against Armin, though Armin wasn't necessarily the best at combat either. It made sense to pair them together. Ryder and Eren both were grinning ear to ear sparring like normal boys neither one letting up to the other. Mikasa and Jason were rough, going hard as they swung fists and bodies all over the place. These were the two teams' lethal weapons for human contact, no question. Well suited for hand to hand combat.

For new recruits, their combat skills were better than many I had seen, especially in the MP's. It was on to the 3DMG usage and both Levi and I allowed Mikasa to lead the training with Armin as backup to watch and note the skills of the recruits. Rani let out a whine, wondering why Levi couldn't judge her, getting a death glare from Mikasa. Mikasa was far too good at keeping that one in line, I thought to myself. Levi and I sat down at one of the picnic like tables outside, waiting for the 3DMG training to run it's course. He winced as he sat, still struggling with the pain as much as he'd rather not let on. I straddled the bench part, not daring lean my back against splintering wood. Leaning forward, I let my head rest on Levi's shoulder, closing my eyes as we waited an eternity for the training to complete. Ryder was my first recruit out, followed closely by Jason. Rani followed moments later and sadly what I knew to be true, Benjamin finally made his appearance. He was going to have to work on his endurance and speed if he was going to last here, especially if he wanted to stay alive.

The groups approached us, though I was already half asleep on Levi's shoulder not noticing the footsteps approaching. Rani stared shocked at the scene before her as Levi had his arms crossed over his chest, leaning his head against mine. He watched all the recruits intently, enjoying the look on Jason's face as he still was getting used to the idea of Levi and me.

"You two seriously are together, aren't you?" Jason sighed, frustrated. I sat up straight, half drooling, wiping my mouth as I turned to my brother.

"We aren't engaged like we told mom and dad, but yea we are together." I replied, yawning. "I should not have drank just three glasses. I should've either powered the bottle or not drank at all." I groaned, still sleepy, ignoring the death glare emanating from the middle of my new squad. I knew exactly which female it belonged to, but I didn't care.

"If you didn't constantly raid my booze, we'd have a lot more to drink for days like this." I chuckled leaning my head back onto his shoulder.

"You're drunk?" Mikasa stared at us confused.

"God, I wish, but three glasses just doesn't do it. I'm not as young as I used to be." The two squads had a few laughs between them, but all felt awkward at the sight in front of them. No one was going to get used to Levi having a relationship any time soon. We finally got up, choosing to adult as Mikasa gave the information on the cadets and what training they needed the most.

"You got your work cut out for you." Levi nudged my rib.

"Not all of us get titan changing humans to death run things for us spoiled ass." I growled, poking his gently though still getting a pained reaction. "Not to mention a mini version of you with tits." I pointed to Mikasa who blushed angrily. Eren enjoyed the comment though as he laughed behind her.

"Yea I can't complain, I basically got the death squad ready to fuck shit up." Levi nodded, throwing his hands in his pockets and turning on his heel. "Let's go squad, you got your other shit to take care of, and god help you if your rooms aren't clean." They groaned but followed Levi, not looking forward to cleaning day. I turned on my team and smiled a creepy happy smile.

"You guys now get to do all sorts of repetitive training and cleaning as well. Hope you all are ready to exercise." My team groaned as well not prepared for the torturous abuse I was about to put them through. I missed days like this, having a team to boss around and watch improve, only this time…most of them might actually die horrible deaths. Maybe even all of them. Best not to get too attached…
