Please Fix My Planet

A bit inspired by the "ending" of Minecraft when the two gods are talking to each other. So, this is how the plot of Dr. Stone came to be, told by two gods in a purely dialogue story. Just a bit of fun, and very short.

"Hey, it's broken again."

"What's going on?"

"Same thing as before. It's getting way too hot, and a whole bunch of stuff I put on there at the beginning are gone now."

"Well, did you delete them?"

"No way! I loved that stuff. I loved it! I wouldn't—"

"Okay, okay! Geez, don't cry, you'll cause a flood or something."

"B-b-but everyth-thing is g-g-gone!"

"Ugh, gross, you're getting all snotty. It's not a big deal. Just restart it."

"Oh...okay. But isn't that mean?"

"What? Mean to who?"

"The humans."

"Don't be ridiculous. Their lifespans are short anyway, does it really matter if you end them a bit early? They're the ones that ruined your planet, anyway."

"Still…"

"Geez, just give it here, I'll do it."

"No, wait!"

"Hey, wait, don't grab—"

"Give it back!"

"It's almost—"

"I SAID—"

"There, done."

"Y-y-y-y-you restarted it!"

"AH! Geez, you got your snot all over the—hey! EW! Ugh, you're such a wimp."

"No, you're the wimp! Give it back!"

"Okay! Geez, here, take it. I was just trying to help."

"I-I-It took forever for my planet to reach that level! Before it was all boring...just when it started to get interesting..."

"Relax. You interrupted my concentration, anyway, so I was only able to get so far. All your precious humans are still there."

"Really?!"

"Yeah, look."

"Oh, it's all green again. Pretty~"

"Oh, now you're happy."

"How come they're all grey?"

"Huh?"

"The humans."

"Oh, that's...I mean, I wanted to freeze them so that they'd survive the restart process since you seemed so fond of them, but since you interrupted me, the command was cut short and I think it might have glitched…"

"..."

"Okay, hey, it's okay, please don't cry—

"YOU SUCKKKK!"

"Geez, okay, yes, okay, I suck, now please stop before you put out all the stars—"

"FIX IT!"

"W-what? I can't fix it, it's already done."

"FIX IT!"

"I can't! We can only make one major change per XxxXxxXXxxX years! Only small miracles are allowed now…"

"NOO! YOU RUINED IT! YOU HAVE TO FIX IT!"

"OKAY! Uh, uhm, right. Fixing. How about, uh, here, I think I can unfreeze a few, yea, okay."

"..."

"Okay, I figured it out. So my freezing was similar to petrification, so I utilized some of the weird stuff you made on your planet originally to come together and make a mixture that will undo the petrification. It took a few hundred thousand years to make it happen subtly enough so that it seemed to be happening naturally, but...are you listening?"

"So you fixed it?"

"...Yea. I fixed it."

"Yay!"
