Rachel had never been much of an animal person to begin with, she had never had a pet like any of the Fabray family and the very thought of having a creature in her space, demanding her time and effort had never seemed like it would be fun. But petting Santana's soft fur at least once, had made her change her mind and she desperately wanted to ask Santana to transform into her kitten form once again and sit in her lap so she could pet her and brush her fur. Out of all the beastkin that she had met and dealt with over the past week, Santana was far more personable than all the others. "We'll be in the city soon, there is so much to do and perhaps I can invite you to my old theater, the person who replaced me isn't nearly as good but the show should still be enjoyable."

"Show?" Santana questions tilting her ears even as she looks out the window, taking in all the new smells and sights. She'd never once seen such a busy place before, there were guards at all the major routes into the capital doing checks and stamping documents, and directing people into offices. She could smell the ocean, something she'd never been able to do before. She wanted to get a closer look but she would have to wait until they were settled before she snuck out of the palace and explored what the city had to offer.

"Do you have bards?" Rachel questions, she wasn't too sure about beastkin society.

"Your highness," Nyssa started with a slight frown. They needed to be very careful when it came to the information that they shared and she was worried about how much information Rachel was giving out. Rachel had decided to inform Santana of all people about the relationship troubles that she had with Quinn.

"We have bards, I just never thought that they were any good," Santana admits with a simple shrug.

"Then you must join me once you've settled in, I believe there will be a new play next week and I'm sure that you can take some time off to watch the play," Rachel says with a bright grin.

"That sounds interesting," Santana replies in a noncommittal tone, her ears at the top of her flicking forward for a moment, she could hear the distant sound of a commotion and she wanted to get a closer look.

"Sounds like a fight," Drogo commented, turning to look at Santana from where he was walking beside the carriage. "Let's see how these humans fight," he scoffs, he doubted he would be impressed.

Nyssa was up immediately, straining her ears to see if she could hear anything but she lacked the beastkin's hearing and she quickly glances over at Finn and Sam who seem almost unperturbed by the entire thing. She flashes a smile at Santana and Drogo as she opens the door to the carriage and with grace hops on top of it so she can have a look around. The fact that they were back in the city meant that she had her sparrows to call upon, and they should have been keeping the crowds calm. It was the middle of the day after all, and they needed this to be perfect. She could already sense that Talia was going to take her place. A brawl in the middle of the day could only mean one thing, and once she spots the dark blue drake raiding a fish monger's wares she knows what has caused the disturbance. Charlie was supposed to be in the badlands for a month or so, that's how long it normally took. It always took Charlie around a month and the talks should have been well under-way before the youngest princess came back.

"Isn't that Hiccup?" Finn questions loudly.

Nyssa pinched the bridge of her nose, this was far more precarious than she had anticipated. Charlie would only be brawling with one person, which meant that they needed to get this under control. "Sam please tell me you have a plan for—"

"We take bets," Sam interrupts.

"Fuck seriously? How are you a special unit?" Nyssa snaps at them. She needed to make a list of everything that needed to get done to make this right, she would need to pay the fishmongers, she would need to supervise the rebuilding of whatever got destroyed, they might even need to buy a new bar or two.

Santana hopped onto the top of the carriage digging her claws in to make sure that she wasn't sent flying and her eyes widened. She had heard rumors from Mercedes that the royal family had drakes, but she had never seen one in person before it was majestic. "Whose drake is that?"

"Charlie's," Sam and Finn respond at the same time.

"It's not friendly," Finn adds as he winces at the memory of Hiccup nearly taking off his arm when he had attempted to pet him. Charlie seemed to think that Hiccup was the friendliest creature in the world, but really only members of the royal family were able to get close to any of the drakes. Well the royal family and the poor sods who had to muck out their pens.

Nyssa takes a breath, the only person in the nearby vicinity who could reign Hiccup in was currently trying to murder the heir to the dwarven kingdom, yet another thing her sparrows weren't aware of. At least she hadn't been aware of it, why hadn't the protocols for this very scenario been enacted? She immediately slaps on a smile, "Excuse us for a second we will need to clean up this mess before, we head to the palace, I apologize for the—"

Santana's brow furrowed watching as people began to take cover as the sound of fighting grew closer. She had heard quite an earful about how she needed to avoid the youngest princess, from Mercedes but she couldn't quite help the curiosity. If she was a great warrior like Mercedes said she was, then she needed to get a better look and hopefully find a way that she could get her on their side. Before she can say anything or do anything, there's an explosion of wood splintering and loud cursing is heard as Hiccup gets to his feet, half a fish in his mouth.

"You clanless, slack-sworded, ox-breather!" Kara snarled at Charlie as she wiped some blood from her lip.

"Slack-sworded? I'll show you fucking slack-sworded," Charlie grunts as she reaches for her hip but she had left her swords with Hiccup, and she had no idea—a quick glance around and she spots both Hiccup and Sam and Finn. "Sam. Sword."

"Will you buy me a new one once you break it?" Sam asks even as he unhooks his sword and throws it at Charlie.

Charlie unsheathes the sword, which immediately begins to glow, she was beyond pissed. Kara had ruined a perfectly good drink, and had ruined her favorite bar by simply existing, she had no idea why Kara was even here. She needed to dwarf stuff like eat dirt or whatever it is that dwarves did in their spare time. "Go back to your fucking cave and try and bring some semblance of honor to your clan you dirt midget."

Finn sighs and looks at Sam, "She doesn't feel that way about all dwarves right?"

"No just Kara, it's the elves she hates," Sam says, watching in amusement. "Twenty silver on Kara."

"Thirty silvers says that Nyssa stops the fight before it gets any worse," Finn says.

"Deal."

Kara smirks and reaches for her warhammer and licks her lips, well Charlie had brought out the weapons first she could now say that she was merely defending herself. Charlie had been the one to throw a chair at her head, when her back was torn. She was ever grateful for Charlie's shitty aim. Now Lena couldn't be upset that she hit Charlie in the face with her hammer. "Bring it on you drow-lover."

Charlie pauses for a moment, "What the hell is a drow?"

"A type of elf," Finn calls out.

Charlie's eyes widen and she glares at Kara, "I'm going to do the dwarves a favor and end you."

Kara snorts and grips the warhammer tightly as Charlie moves to close the distance, and brings her hammer up just in time catching the side of Charlie's blade shattering it with ease, and as Charlie looks at her shattered sword she catches Charlie with the pommel of her warhammer, the heavy metal hitting Charlie's jaw and she hears a very satisfying crack.

Charlie stumbles back and rubs her jaw, tossing the useless sword to the side, and turning her head to spit out a stream of blood, "Hiccup."

Hiccup tilts his head to look at Charlie for a moment before going back to the fish that he was working on.

"Traitor," Charlie snapped at him as she dodged the heavy blow from Kara, her hammer slamming into the wall destroying it. She needed to focus on avoiding Kara attempting to take her head off with that hammer. She would need to strip Kara of the damn weapon and then she could shove it up her ass. No, Kara would probably like that. But she would break the damn hammer on Kara's head, that would probably make her feel better.

"Charlotte Reagan Fabray," Nyssa said, distracting Charlie for a moment and forcing her to give her a look. "Stop before I make you."

"Make me?" Charlie snorted, she was pretty sure that Nyssa didn't have the authority to tell her what to do. She's about to focus on her fight when she catches sight of a gorgeous woman standing beside Rachel, staring at her. From the black ears that sat on top of her head, the swish of the tail and the cat like eyes that were glued to her, Charlie can't help but smile and unconsciously flexes her muscles just as she feels Nyssa's rope dart wrap around her, the dart digging into her side.

"Kara, don't you dare!" Lena's voice rang out but it was too late as Kara launched the hammer at Charlie's face.

Santana flinched as the hammer caught Charlie in the face, as she turned into it with a sickening thud dropping the princess flat on her back. She takes an unconscious step forward before stopping entirely, she was pretty sure her mate had just died in front of her. The force of that blow had been sickening and she was sure it would have killed even Drogo if it had landed. Her mate was—

Charlie sat up and spat out a tooth, her nose a bloody mess as was half of her cheek as she glared at Kara. "Cheater."

"It slipped," Kara insisted immediately, holding up her hands, looking at her wife with what she hoped was her most innocent look.

Charlie placed her fingers to her nose and clogged one of the nostrils and blew hard, bloody snot coming from the open nostril as she stands. She had all the things that Brittany had requested and now she was going to have to spend all of her money paying for Kara's and Lena's drinks. Lena liked expensive things, how could she have lost? And in front of such a pretty woman as well.

Santana stared at the absolute carnage, by all accounts Charlie should be laying there in a pool of her own blood and brains and yet she seemed—fine wasn't quite the right word, alive was probably closer to it. She was alive and looked like she'd been in a fight and she certainly stank like she hadn't showered in a month, but beneath the blood and the sweat and the disgusting body odor was a far more powerful scent, and she could feel a rather pleasant warmth as she lets out a rather uncharacteristic purr.

"What was that?" Drogo said breaking the silence, this was not what he knew. Humans were weak, they had always been weak that's why they needed their tools to hunt, but he didn't know any human who could take something like that to the face and walk away, he was certain that it had spelled her uncertain doom.

"Oh that was Charlie and despite being a swordmaster, she's the Agron Kingdom's shield."

"And is this a common occurrence?" Matt Rutherford of the bunny clan asked, staring at the carnage in the city. Such casual violence—they had underestimated the humans, believed them to be weak but it was clear that they were not coming to the table on equal footing.

"Only when Kara and Charlie are in the same room. Quinn explained that this is just a friendship, but personally I think they have deep rooted feelings for one another and this is how they express it. Charlie doesn't know what to do since Kara married Lena."

Charlie narrowed her eyes at Rachel for a split second, before realizing that moving her face hurt, "Kara is—" Charlie tilted her head she was pretty sure her jaw was broken, she really couldn't defend herself against such an awful accusation.

"Rachel," Nyssa groaned, the last thing they needed was for Rachel to tell the beastkin all the kingdom's secrets, when she pauses and looks at the rest of the beastkin delegation. For once there wasn't an air of superiority coming to them, this little display had been good which was how she was going to spin it in her report. "Sam, pick up your captain and get Hiccup back to the palace and then get back here because your entire unit is going to be cleaning this mess up. Understood?"

Finn leans over in his saddle to talk to Sam, "Can she order us around?"

"I'm pretty sure that she can't, also you owe me. Kara won," Sam replies. "Hey boss, is Nyssa in charge of us?"

"Nyssa ended the fight," Finn insisted, as Charlie stuck up her middle finger. "That's a no, we're not going to do that."

"Nyssa interfered with the fight, Kara ended it," Sam argues back, as he gets off his horse to help Charlie up.
