Chapter 7: Junior Year Final Countdown
In our previous chapter, Major Rebels had a blast at their concert debut in their school. What was nice was they discovered by a talent scout that has connections to Hannah. Hannah is so happy to share this experience with her new friends and her boyfriend Haruten. But as times flies by it is already their junior year. What's even greater is that Hannah is happy that she doesn't have to move any more to and relive the dreadful routine of making new friends, changing schools. She can stay in her hometown that she was born which is Japan. Also, with this dreadful routine she was worried about having a boyfriend because she didn't want to go through a long-distance relationship because those never end well. As junior year for our follow members have progressed, a lot has happened: The road to fame with various sound check, training, learning how to handle fans especially crazy fans, stalker fans and many more that come with fame.
Furthermore, rumors among friends that almost tore them apart and Haruten and Hannah had various fights and arguments was this the work of Tatsuma and his friends? Part of it, yes, but the main cause was stress and a rival band of theirs that wanted the fame and fortune no matter what it took. A rival band named Bloodbath-Tokyo is heavy metal band consisting of four male students from Tokyo high school who were known to be drug addicts and gang members. No one knows how they were in school and why a school would accept these kinds of teens. They tried so hard to be famous and being cocky too, their lead singer was the worst by far, and they were trying to convince Hannah to leave her band and join theirs. However, each time Hannah declined because she didn't want to abandoned her friends and because those guys were absolutely insane. It was given that surviving high school was tough especially when Hannah and her friends had to deal with their rival gang, Tatsuma and maintaining grades.
Secretly Hannah is a straight A student, but she keeps it hidden because of her trust issues and she didn't want other people to take advantage of her. In other words, she didn't want other people to have her do their work and take the credit. She made deals with her teaches to make it look like she was barely surviving in school and getting mostly C's but on the school's record she is getting straight A's and she's on the honor roll. The only people that knew about this arrangement are her teachers, the principal and her parents. They respected her wishes, because she has lost trust in her classmates when she attended her private school back in London. The friends that she had were through mutual trust and respect that, later on turned in to where she saw them as a second family and fully trusted them. Those type of people were her true friends, and her friends never gave her a reason to doubt them.
Occasionally Hannah and her friends would have their arguments or fights but it's minor situations it's rare that they would have big argument that could jeopardize their friendship, with the free time Hannah had she would try to video chat with her friends on her MacBook Pro in England and in Hawaii. She's always enjoyed keeping in touch with them even though she was not there. She loves spending time with Haruten, she was worried about how her band would maintain sometimes ask her uncle who's in the music business for advice. Hannah felt very blessed with the life she has even though she tries her best to manage her stress. After video chatting with her friends, she would then video chat with Haruten as she would multitask with studying. They would help each other with their homework and Haruten would help Hannah with her Japanese such as, refreshing her memory and speaking it fluently because of the fact that she's lived in Hawaii and England so all her life she spoke English. She was very fortunate to have Haruten in her life especially how he accepted her for who she is and didn't have to change anything about herself. Hannah sometime wonders what would happen if she was dating Tatsuma, even though he was such a player with the ladies and leaving one after another heartbroken. She had thought about doing it for the hell of it so he could get a taste of his own medicine and realizes what he has been doing to other girls. Hannah shakes her and ignores that idea, she didn't want to screw up the love life she already has and she was very happy.
She and Haruten were complete night owls they would stay up 4am studying and goofing off, they would always drink alcohol that was lying around the house at Haruten's whenever she stayed over. When he would stay at Hannah's house they would drink energy drinks to stay awake and listen to music. Hannah was so rebellious that her parents only cared for her safety, as long as Hannah had gotten A's and B's she could do what she wanted even drink Alcohol because looked so mature that when she goes to a bar the bartender doesn't ask her for an ID. With the countdown of Junior year, Hannah thinks about what her life would be she misses her friends a lot. She even misses her friend Lily, Hannah tries her best to spend time with her as much as she can. Lily appears as mature for her age because Hannah is older than her, Lily's father Alfred is always a goofball and sometimes hard to be taken seriously. Hannah considers Lily to be her bestie because they had similar family drama and have a lot in common. With summer coming up real soon only time will tell what adventures awaits for Hannah, Haruten and her friends.
