Note: Hello my fellow readers and followers! I'm not dead! I've been busy with college. I did graduate from a community college and now I am in my junior year of college at a 4-year university. Only reasons why I haven't been active is because of studying, work and I was dealing with drama among my friends. I will do my best to be more active and finish my stories as well as my well-liked stories which are " H20 a customize tribute to the show" and "H20 the sequel"
Chapter 8: Summer Vacation
Summer vacation has started for Haruten, Hannah and their friends, Hannah personally loved summer break than spring break or winter break because those were shorter. Hannah was really excited because of how she can spend more time with Lily and her bandmates. For the first 7 days of their vacation they booked hotel rooms for a staycation because it was cheaper than flying somewhere else. Hannah was really excited about the idea because it was her first time, they all packed their bags and met up at the hotel at around 3pm. Each day they had something planned, Hannah was kind of a perfectionist so she wanted to do something each day with her friends on her phone she had a list of what they were going to do.
Day 1- Check in at 3pm, settle in and decide as a group on what to do
Day 2- Get breakfast at the hotel, go to the beach, round two at the Karaoke bar
Day 3- Sleep in, have lunch , check out the tourist attractions,
Day 4- Sleep in, get lunch and do some shopping
Day 5- Go to the karaoke bar again and go to the arcade
Day 6- Get ready to pack up at 8pm and head to bed
Day 7 - Check out of the hotel room 10am
Day 1- Check in at 3pm, settle in and decide as a group on what to do
As they checked in at 3pm they went to the room and settled in. They were so amazed by the rooms they paid for about 2-3 rooms because it was her, Haruten, Lily and their bandmates each of them would share a bed. Once they were settled they met in the lobby of the hotel which was called The Royal Park Hotel Tokyo Shiodome, "What should we do first?" Asked Lily "It's a little early to eat dinner, hmm... How about we go to karaoke, and then get some dinner. Maybe go clubbing." Hannah suggested.
"But Lily is underage, isn't she?" said Haruka "Being the youngest in the group has pros and cons" Lily said kind of pouting little. "Yeah, but she's mature for age though. And most of us have fake IDs since we are high school students" Said Hannah as some nodded in agreement Haruten says "I know a club we can go to; my friend works there and he can get Lily in no problem ``''Are you sure we won't get in trouble?" Asked Lily a little bit concerned "Don't worry, it'll be fine trust us" said Xero. With that said, they walked to the nearest Karaoke bar and upon arriving they were given a room to sing and hang out in. Once they got inside they started picking songs they wanted to sing and rotate it so each person has a chance to sing.
To their surprise they ended up singing songs they grew up with, songs such as "Thanks for the memories" by Fall Out Boy, "Every Heart" by Boa for the ending theme of the anime Inuyasha, "Lucifer" by the K-pop boy band name Shinee and many more. While singing they drank various types of alcohol, Hannah gets her top four liked alcohols which were Captain Morgan, Japanese Sake, a Korean alcohol called Soju and Vodka. Lily tries Sake and Soju for the first time because she adores the Japanese and Korean Culture.
The look on Lily's face lights up and she's happy because she loved the taste to it, while hanging out they drink, sing and take pictures together to create memories. After spending what seemed like six hours at the karaoke bar, they end up going to dinner to drink even more and finally go to a nightclub to dance the night away. For the dinner they went to a place called Ruby Jack's Steakhouse & Bar, the restaurant was very beautiful and kind of fancy looking so they made sure to dress accordingly. When they got to the club Haruten sees his friend Yuta, with Yuta's help they got Lily in without any problems. Lily was very excited to experience this moment with her friends. "This club looks amazing!" Said Lily in excitement everyone nodded in agreement with a smile as they get a table, it was very crowded and very loud.
It was to no surprise that Hannah and the rest of the females in the band started taking pictures with each other and took selfies. Kim went off for a moment but then came back from the bar and got everyone drinks specifically beer, sake, soju and shots. Using her fake ID and flirting with the bartender she paid half and the bartender told her the rest was on the house. Lily was a bit worried about the possibility of going overboard on the drinking, but Hannah reassures her that they will be careful. As they drank and took more pictures, some of them went to the dance floor and dance the night away with the DJ's awesome playlist. Hannah and Haruten went off on their own in the corner with their drinks and talked, mostly about getting to know each other more but Hannah's limit was where she didn't want people to know anything embarrassing. You would think with Haruten being her boyfriend she can tell him anything and everything but no, she keeps anything embarrassing a secret.
During their time at the club, Hannah buys more and more drinks to the point where she was drunk Haruten decided it was time to cut her off with the drinks and have her drink water. Haruten tries to look for her as they were separated but when he reunites with her he sees her dancing. He smiled, he watched from a distance watching her dance because he wanted her to have fun. However, He saw some sketchy looking guy and his friend going up to her and flirting with her well one of them was flirting with her the other wanted a simple friendly conversation. Haruten plays it cool by going up to her and calmly tells the guys to back off. He didn't want to appear as the boyfriend that would start a fight, but if that's how the situation was going to escalate then he would have no choice but to fight to protect Hannah and his friends.
*Haruten goes up to the dance floor and gets in front of Hannah*
Haruten: Hey, why don't you guys back off my girl
Guy 1: How the fuck? She's hot, dude how much for us to tap that ass huh *laughs while drunk*
Guy 2: Yo, Alex man that's low
Alex [Guy 1]: Fuck off Tyler, I want to have some fun with this babe
Haruten: Tyler is it? Control your friend Hannah is my girlfriend
Tyler [Guy 2]: Sorry man he's a jerk. We'll leave you guys alone, we don't want any trouble
Alex: Screw you man, I want to have some fun tonight
Tyler: Yeah sure, Alex just not here
*Tyler pushes his friend Alex over and they leave *
"Did that Alex guy hurt you" Haruten says to Hannah checking for any signs of harassment on her. Hannah giggles while clinging on to him and says "No, and if he did I would've kicked him in the balls" "Babe, sorry to disappoint but you're drunk and I'm sure he would've done something to do you if I haven't showed up in time" he said walking her to their table with the others. She smiles and says to him "I appreciate that you came to my rescue before the situation escalated, but I could've handled just fine."
"Let's just meet in the middle say that it's likely he would've back off with your way but my way is much more effective" He said having her sit down and she nodded. "Did something happen Haruten?" asked Xero, Haruten nodded and explained the situation to others they were happy that Hannah was not hurt in any way and the others were happy that Haruten handled it in a mature manner and not burst out in fighting like he used to do. While hanging out and the DJ was on break he passed by them and realized that they were a band, and it was the same band that he saw on the internet. "Hey, excuse me aren't you guys the Major Rebels" asked DJ they all nodded the DJ was excited to see such an awesome band on the night he was performing. While talking to the band and getting autographs and photos taken he asks "I know it's not your night to perform but could you do it? You have a lot of fans here dying to meet you but don't want to impose while you're relaxing and such. It would mean the world to me and I can set something up."
Hannah and the others looked at each other as they talked it out they agreed to perform, the DJ was excited to hear that they are willing to do it so he rushes back to the stage and sets up the playlist. Haruten was a bit concerned though because one of their main lead singers is drunk, Haruka suggested maybe she could lip sync or sit this one out. As they try to figure what to do for Hannah's sake, Hannah reassures them that she can perform because she's good at acting like she's fine. To prove it she shows them how she's able to act like she's sober, they were still worried but they had to take Hannah's word for it because the crowd wanted all of them to be together. They get on the stage and introduced themselves, then Alex the guy that was flirting with Hannah realized that she was famous. He was planning to try to get with her again but with a different approach.
As the performance started, Hannah puts up an act of her being sober and they started with some cover songs, the same ones they did at karaoke then they continued on with the songs they wrote themselves. The crowd was loving the songs they were singing as well as a DJ spinning some awesome remixes to their songs to get people to sing along and dance too. The audience loved the performance so much, Alex tries to get Hannah's attention but she was so focused on trying to put up the act that's she's sober Hannah didn't noticed him. After performing and doing four encores they decided it was time to head back to the hotel and sleep after a long fun night out. While making their way out Alex was being persistent and blocks Hannah as she was the last one out.
Alex: Hey pretty lady where are you going, you didn't tell me that you were famous
Hannah: You didn't ask. I'd love to stay and chat but I'm exhausted
Alex: Why don't you come back to my place
Hannah: Tempting offer, but I'll pass I'm staying at a hotel actually
Alex: What hotel, I could walk you there so you are safe
Hannah: That's really sweet of you but I really need to go
Alex: Could I at least get your number or a photo with you. It's not every day that I get to meet a celebrity
Hannah: Alright we can take photo together
When Alex and Hannah took a photo together on his phone Alex quickly grabbed Hannah's ass, Hannah then pushed him off of her. In that moment Hannah's phone was kind of sticking out of her pocket and falls out, when she picks it up and makes sure it was working her number was showing that's when Alex made his move and took a picture of it thinking she wouldn't notice. "Sorry about that I just couldn't resist" said Alex "Do you do this with every celebrity you meet?" Hannah said a bit annoyed because she was very tired and wanted to leave. "Only the hot ones like you" he said Hannah rolled her eyes as she left and met up with her friends and her boyfriend. "Took you long enough" Lily teased "Heh. A fan wanted to take a picture with me" Hannah said shrugging off the discomfort that had happened.
"Do you have a copy of the photo on your phone?" Asked Haruten "Actually I'm not sure, if I'm not mistaken it was on his phone" Hannah said as she pulled out her phone and checked to see if the photo of her and Alex was on there. "His? Hannah which fan was it do you remember?" Haruten got a bit concerned. As Hannah checked her phone she and everyone else sees the photo not there. "Crap, the photo is on Alex's phone." Said Hannah as she put her phone back in her pocket. "That Alex guy is such a creep and an asshole" said Haruka as everyone nodded their heads in agreement and got a cab back to the hotel. Haruten was worried about Hannah's reputation now with her interaction with Alex.
Upon arriving back to the hotel, they entered the lobby then to the elevator to their rooms. They had talked about what parts of the day they had enjoyed, once entering the rooms and changed their clothes to be relaxed before heading to bed they decided to call room service and had some late night food with more alcohol. With having more fun in the hotel room, they ended the night with drinking to where they had all passed out until next morning.
Day 2- Get breakfast at the hotel, go to the beach, round two at the Karaoke bar
Once morning comes, everyone was still passed out. Hannah and Haruten shared a bed together, Lily and Haruka shared the other bed. Xero and Kim took the two long couches and everyone else slept on the floor because they were too drunk to go to the room next to theirs. Once Hannah's alarm had gone off at 9:30am, everyone in their room heard it and woke up with really bad hangovers Hannah's hangover was much worse. Once they had all taken their showers to wake themselves up and took some painkillers that Hannah had provided, they got dressed and headed down to a cafe that was in the hotel for some breakfast.
Once they got there, they got line for the breakfast buffet and picked what they wanted to eat then headed to their table. "Do you guys remember what had happened last night?" Asked Hannah curiously "Kind of it's like bits and pieces for me" said Lily and Xero and Haruka agreed with Lily. While Haruten remembered it half of it because he got drunk too, he mentions in the conversation that a guy at the club that they were at last night was hitting on Hannah and Hannah did her best on turning him down. However, Hannah saw on her Facebook page for their band that a fan has posted a picture.
The Facebook page that she created was meant to interact with their fans but, when she saw the photo she was a bit shocked to see who it was and she showed it to her bandmates/friends "What the fuck? Is that the guy, Alex?" Asked Haruka "Yeah that's him" said Haruten, "Look at the caption it's disgusting" said Hannah. They took turns passing around the phone to read the caption of the photo of her and Alex. The caption read "Met this hottie celebrity at a club and grabbed that fine ass" But then the noticed the "See more" part. When Hannah clicked on it, there was more to it which read "She's really humble, sweet and I would love to see her in concert more often." This shocked all of them, because they thought that Alex was this total creep and a jerk but looks like looks can be deceiving. Haruten didn't buy it for a second, he suggested that everyone remain vigilant and, on their toes, just case this was just a front like he was lying kind of thing.
After they had breakfast, they headed back to their room to relax for a bit then started to get ready to head out and go to the beach. Little did they know Alex was actually stalking Hannah like he was one of those creeper type fans, somehow with the right connections Alex found out what hotel Hannah was staying at and he followed them to the beach. Haruten's suspicious theories about Alex were true the night he first met him flirting with Hannah. Once they got to the nearest beach they set up their spot with beach chairs they rented and a tent, they put on sunblock and dive into the water to cool off.
Alex sees them and he started taking pictures of Hannah like he was a paparazzi, sure enough professionals which were actual paparazzi came and started taking pictures of the band in the distance. The professional paparazzi was the work of Hannah's uncle to try to get them good publicity. Some of the professional paparazzi came up to them and asked them some questions just enough to get to know them better to put on their magazines and such because they didn't want to ruin their day at the beach. While spending about a good two to three hours at the beach Hannah, Haruten and their friends/bandmates rinse off returned what they rented and go to dry off and change. Haruten had an eerie feeling that they were being followed but he didn't want to cause a scene so he remained cool, calm and collected while still being vigilant to figure out who it is.
Upon arriving back to the hotel, the put their wet clothes out to dry and so the hotel maids could clean it for them. Each of them took turns to take a shower and once each of them had finished, dried off and changed into comfortable clothes they just chill the living room area of the room and watched TV while eating snacks. Haruten was very suspicious about the one photographer that had been hanging around them, Haruten keeps a close eye on the guy as the others wanted to hit up the Karaoke bar again during the day and then at night.
When they got to the Karaoke bar, they started singing all they songs they knew and between they were doing shots, drinking and taking pictures. They did this for about four hours during the day and when night came around they took a break for a while then got back in to it another Karaoke bar to sing and drink the night away. Throughout the whole day Alex was following them around and then when Haruten figured it out who it was he gets Alex alone starts threatening him to leave them alone as well as Hannah otherwise he'd resort to violence or legal actions. When they checked the time and it was 6am in the morning they decide to head back to the hotel and sleep off all the drinking they did.
Day 3- Sleep in, have lunch , check out the tourist attractions
The next day, everyone had slept because they were so hungover they didn't want to leave the hotel. Part of them felt like they didn't want to do anything except lounge around the room. Others wanted to check out some tourist attractions and pretend to be tourists for the day. Since they wanted to do things together as a group and as a band, they waited until later in the day to do the attractions. It was mostly Hannah who drank the most and a really bad hangover. When Haruka noticed the time, they had slept through the whole morning and it was already lunchtime. As others heard about this they get up to freshen up and get ready to start the afternoon.
Hannah was the last one to get up as she takes some medicine to get her headache to go away and then she takes a shower. The others worry about her because of how she drinks too much but she has a high tolerance. When Hannah was ready, they all head down to the restaurant in the hotel to have a buffet for lunch they talked about what attractions they wanted to see since they each have money to contribute. Each of them took their turns to get their first round of food as the buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner are free since they paid for that bundle package. As they are eating their food, they each put it to a vote on which to see first so that each member of the band has a chance to see the attraction of their choice so that its fair.
In the order that they discussed it was the following:
Hannah- Wants go to the amusement park
Lily: Wants to check out the aquarium
Haruten: Wants to go to the gun range
Haruka- Wants to go hiking
Xero- wants to go see a movie
To start the day, they take a rental car and go to the nearest amusement park to go on some rides. The lines were kind of long but it wasn't too bad. The rides that each of them went on were mostly roller coaster, bumper cars, and the fun house. They even tried their luck with booths to win prizes. Haruten tries to win Hannah stuffed animal by popping balloons with darts. After losing a couple of tries, he goes for a third and wins the stuffed animal that was a tiger. Hannah smiles and kisses him, for going through the effort of getting her a prize. Each member of the band got to try out new things at the amusement park and as they regrouped, they get a table and got some snacks to munch on.
After hanging out at an amusement park, they headed back to the car to go to the aquarium and it was really cool they got to see new sea life creatures in their new home as well as the usual fishes and other creatures that they would see in an aquarium. While being at the aquarium, they check out the dolphin show and was able to feed some fishes. Since, they didn't spend too much time at the aquarium they checked out the gift shop prior to leaving. Lily buys a new charm bracelet that had fishes and dolphins on it. Hannah gets a new makeup palette while the others waited for them outside.
As they left the aquarium, and were on the road they hit up the gun range as it was late afternoon close to early evening. As they got they there and paid the fee to get in and gear up, they found out there was an airsoft and paint gun match that they could join. Haruten was very hyped for it and so was Xero. Haruten teaches Hannah the basics of how to hold the gun and such, but little did he know Hannah had some experience because her dad taught her, it was mainly for self-defense. Unfortunately, with Lily being underage she couldn't join but the manager made an exception since he saw that her friends were responsible. With guidance, Lily was able to give it a try and liked learning new things.
After they had spent a good amount of time at the gun range, they checked to see if there were any hiking areas still open followed by ending the day with a movie. As they researched it on their phones. Hannah found a place to hike that also had night hiking and part of it was that a guide would be with them. So, during the mid-evening towards night they did about two hours of hiking then got back to the car to decide on what movie to do if they were up for it.
Overall, they were kind of tired but they figured they could watch a movie to end the night and then just sleep in the next day. They were trying to vote on what movie they were interested in seeing. While looking at the available list at a nearby movie theatre they all agreed on an adventure type movie. So, they drove to the nearest movie theatre, got their tickets and looked for their seats. They were happy to manage to get an entire row so they could all sit together. Their movie lasted for about two hours. When it was over, Hannah drank so much energy drinks to stay awake long enough to drive back to the hotel. Upon arriving back to the hotel, the valet took the car in to the parking garage as they all went up to their rooms and crashed for the whole night leading in to the next day.
Day 4- Sleep in, get lunch and do some shopping
When afternoon had arrived, Hannah, Haruten and their friends were so exhausted yesterday that they slept the entire morning to early afternoon. Last time they did something similar to this is when they got drunk and Hannah as more wasted than the others. Most of them were really sore from the hike, where Hannah, Lily and Haruten felt okay but still tired. Eventually they all had woken up but could barely walk. The original plan was to get lunch and do some shopping at the nearby mall, but they decided to order in on bite squad. Lily still wanted to go shopping but didn't want to go alone. Hannah decided to go with her even though she felt tired.
But before they did anything else, they took turns taking a shower and got comfortable. Hannah pulled up her phone to see what looked to order for bite squad and Lily looked in the hotel room service book to compare. Haruten then suggested that, why not do both and have small party just them and whatever was left over they would eat it for dinner. They each took turns ordering their food and drinks. While waiting watched tv and played some board games that Haruka brought over. Haruten brought his PlayStation and extra controllers so they could take turns playing video games. When the food arrived, they got the utensils from the kitchen that was part of amenities and start digging in to the food as they watched more tv and just relaxing. Hannah and Lily half of their food and then started to get ready as the two were going to go shopping for a few hours only because they were still sore from hiking and Lily wanted to get some K-pop and anime swag. While the two did that, the others stayed behind eating, watching tv and even took a nap too.
At the mall, the stores they went to were: Hot Topic and Pink Box for K-pop and anime related merchandise. The two also went to another store called Nature Republic to get some facial masks and lotion that is really popular in South Korea. They also looked at other stores but those are the main ones that they wanted to go and as night started to begin they head back to the hotel regrouping with the others to figure what they wanted to tomorrow. They ended the night with more drinking and eating while enjoying each other's company.
Day 5- Go to the karaoke bar again and go to the arcade
It's day five of summer vacation. Each day was an adventure, today's adventure was going back to Karaoke to sing more than hit up the arcade. Both activities took up half the day, the first thing they did was go through the routine of waking up and taking a shower followed by having breakfast and later on lunch. Once everyone was ready, they took their personal belongings and head out for the karaoke bar again.
Upon arriving, they went to the room of their choice and got started on picking their usual songs as well as new ones to try. Hannah wanted to try new alcoholic drinks on the menu especially how Hannah loves drinking vodka because it helps her hit higher notes when she sings. They had a list of about twenty songs to go through in Japanese, English and Korean. While singing and drinking, they had some snacks with them to munch on and they were taking pictures together to make more photographic memories.
They had spent about four hours at the karaoke bar, but ended up staying an extra hour to finish off the remaining songs they had left. After they had finished, they gathered up their bags and such and head to the cashier to pay for the bill. They each took out their wallets to pitch in for the bill and then head on out to the arcade and stay there until closing. When they go to the arcade they saw that there was new games that were installed. Xero was really excited about the games and so was Haruten.
Each of them, looked around to see what was new and played the new games. The games that Lily and Hannah played were: Dance-Dance Revolution, Guitar Hero, and some shooting games. Hannah was excited to see her favorite game Tekken and she challenged Haruten to a match, followed by playing with Haruka and Lily. Lily was unfamiliar on how to play so Haruka taught her the basics controls. They noticed that the arcade closes at 9pm so they had decided to stay until closing and the guys had racked up a nice bundle of tickets so the girls waited for them to claim their prizes.
It was sad to know that their staycation was gonna end because tomorrow was their last night and at around 8pm is when they had to start packing because the next day at 10am on the dot they had to check out and head back home. So, when it was 9pm they exited the arcade then decided to hit up a store to get some food and soda to chill at hotel and watch some tv before bed. Because they wanted tomorrow to be something worth remembering.
Day 6- Get ready to pack up at 8pm and head to bed
When morning comes, they go through the same routine of waking themselves up by taking a shower, splashing water in their faces and have some breakfast. Each day Hannah was uploading all the photos she took and posted it to her Facebook account and tagging everyone. Their fans wanted to interact with them but knew Hannah and her friends wanted some peace and quiet to themselves. They also went to a souvenir store to get some more remembrance of their time at the hotel.
Today's plans, were simple because they knew that 8pm they had to start packing. So, they ended up having a lazy day but later on they were gonna do light drinking with a few bottles of wine. While staying in the room they played more video games and watched more TV. Lily on the other hand decided to take a nap and Hannah decided to do the same but afterwards she would go on an afternoon run followed by getting herself and everyone else ice cream. Upon arriving back, Hannah got the ice cream delivered to their room so they can enjoy there rather than outside in the hot sun. Before Hannah ate hers, she takes a cold shower to cool down from her run.
When she got out of the shower, and got changed she meets up with the others as she watched Xero and Haruten play on the PS4 as she ate her ice cream and towel drying her hair. Later on, towards the late afternoon/early evening they decided to go to the pool that was in the hotel and go for a swim for a couple of hours. Upon arriving back to the room is when they opened up the bottles of wine to drink toasting to a great staycation that they will never forget. By the time it was 8pm they had begun packing up their clothes and other personal belongings took one last shower and headed to bed.
Day 7 - Check out of the hotel room 10am
At the sound of the alarm going off at seven in the morning, they were a little stubborn to get out of bed, but they knew today was the day they had to leave the hotel. As they got up, they fixed the beds, got dressed, brushed their teeth and headed to the lobby with their luggage to go to the restaurant that was inside the hotel for breakfast and waited until it was 10am. As they ate breakfast because it was a buffet they had planned out more on what they wanted to do for the rest of the summer. While talking and planning Hannah kept an eye on the clock and when it was 9:58 she goes to the lobby with Haruten following her to check out and pay the bill. During the remainder of the summer break which was 3 months, it was nonstop fun on certain days and nights other days they would chill at home with family or have lazy days and do nothing.
