So hey… long time…. I'M SO SORRY. First it was writer's block and then it was no time, and then my computer completely fried… /.-… I actually had a chapter written but my Beta didn't think it was to my usual standard and I completely agreed. So I decided to take a "short" break… ha ha ha. Oh, and Kyoki13 I know that I didn't send this draft to you but I feel ashamed for it being a little over a year… I hope you can forgive me.

Thank you everyone who has supported me and I'm really sorry to make you wait so long… I know I promised a family dinner in this but I don't want to force anything in one direction. So the dinner may be in later chapters. I'm just going to let my fingers glide on the key board and see where this goes.

"So… What now?" Butch spoke up.

The girls had finally left for class. That left the three brothers alone in an unfamiliar place. After Butch's question, they exchanged looks and only shrugged.

"Maybe we can look around." Boomer suggested. "You know, see what all we have here when we transfer."

"That would be a good idea, but we only have visitor passes and highly doubt the security around here wouldn't like us just snooping around. Remember the transfer isn't official. We aren't students yet." Brick reasoned. As he spoke, the trio started to walk down the hall towards the entrance.

"Speaking of transfers. How the hell did you get Dad on board?" Butch asked, looking over Boomer's smaller figure to the eldest. Brick only smirked.

"Dad thinks he's the most powerful there is, but he always seems to forget the one person he can never argue with." He answered simply.

Butch and Boomer looked to each other with wide grins on their faces.

"Mom." The said together.

They were quiet as the finally reached the doors. A limo was waiting ever so patiently for them, just outside. Boomer went in first followed by Brick and then by Butch.

"Maybe we could go to the gym?" Butch spoke. Boomer shook his head no instantly.

"I'm just now healing from the last time." Butch only laughed.

"That's what you get for trying to out bench me." Boomer's only reply was sticking out his tongue. Then his blue eyes looked up thoughtfully.

"We could go to the arcade." Boomer offered. Brick and Butch scoffed at this leading to the blonde to pout. "We haven't been in a while." He muttered.

"Because it's boring." Brick snorted out.

The three boys took in another moment of silence. Boomer looking outside of his window bored. Brick playing solitaire on his phone. All the while Butch read the Sports section of the paper. The car ride was peaceful, but then something caught Boomer's attention.

They had just driven by the local supermarket. The parking lot was small and not many cars were even there. However, there was a tallish brunette woman trying to place some items into her car, but the paper bag ripped and most of her groceries fell out.

"Hey park in there really quick." Boomer called to the driver. The driver, being one of only a few privileged staff to hear the youngest brother speak, pulled in quickly. This order gained Brick and Butch's attention. They looked around curiously to see what was going on. As the limo stopped the woman looked up shocked.

"Boomer what are you doing?" Brick asked as Boomer opened his door.

The blonde only smiled kindly and closed the door behind him. He turned to the woman and immediately started to help pick up her things. All the while, the woman could only stare at him curiously.

"I saw you while we were driving past. I figured you may need some help." Boomer explained to soothe her curiosity.

"Thank you. I really appreciate it." She finally answered. Her soft eyes then started to gaze at him for another reason entirely. "You look young…Shouldn't you be at school?" She asked.

Boomer flashed her a charming smile.

"Took the day off with my brothers. We had to make a big decision today and needed the day off to make it." The woman chuckled.

"You mean you played hookie?" She asked with humor in her eyes. Boomer froze for a millisecond. There was something oddly familiar about the lady. Something he couldn't pin. The feeling made his heart flutter with joy.

"Ehh. You can call it what you will because it's sorta a mixture of that and my reason." He said. He finally picked up the last item. He looked at her and silently asked where he should put them. The woman gestured to the back of her car.

"Well I hope your problem wasn't too tough on you. Young ones like yourself don't need the weight of the world on your shoulders yet. That can wait until at least after school." She spoke softly to him. "I have a daughter around your age and she always tries to handle things on her own. I try to tell her that she doesn't need to, but she's just so independent. So my husband and I try to support her in any way we can."

"That's so nice. She's very lucky." Boomer answered honestly.

"It's only what parents should do. Don't tell me your parents don't try and help you when they can?" Her voice almost sounded worried.

"My mom does, but my dad is a little more distant." Boomer didn't even realize what he said until it came out. Before the woman could say another word, Boomer shut the back door and looked at her. "Well I guess I should be going. Have a good day Ma'am." He rushed walking quickly back to the limo. There, his brother had been watching the whole thing.

As his hand brushed the handle of the door, she shouted.

"Wait! Can I at least know your name young man?" She asked. Boomer looked back and smiled at her.

"Boomer." She smiled back and said:

"Nice to meet you Boomer." Boomer's eyes widen as she leaned on her car writing something on the back of her receipt. She walked to him and handed it over. "Call me any time you need help, or if you just want to talk."

She then walked back to her car and got in. As she drove off, Boomer heard the window rolled down behind him.

"Boomer?" Brick asked. Boomer looked down at the paper and saw she had scribbled down her number. However, that's not what Boomer was focused on. Right above the digits was her name…

Lily Richards.

"Holy shit!" Butch explained as he leaned all the way over Brick. "That was Blossom's mom!"

Brick had stayed silent, only staring at the paper in the youngest's hands. Boomer hadn't said much either, doing the same thing. Though it did make sense now. The familiar feeling was the feeling he felt around Blossom. Maybe the aura was genetic.

"Talk about brownie points. Damn Brick you better be careful, Boom's gonna steal your girl from right under your nose." Butch laughed. Boomer only blushed at the statement. Brick got red in the face as well, but for an entirely different reason.

"Shut up, Butch!" He shouted. Butch only laughed louder.

"Yeah that's nonsense. I like Bubble anyhow." Boomer defended.

"Yeah, but Blossom's not bad looking. I bet if she tried anything you wouldn't completely object." Butch smirked, wiggling his eyebrow suggestively. Brick shoved him against the door. Boomer's blush only deepened. "relax, I'm only teasing. Don't act so virgin about it." Butch snickered towards Boomer.

"Blossom wouldn't throw herself at him, or any guy for that matter, anyways, she has something all your past "girlfriends" never had. Sophistication." Brick spoke solidly.

"Yeah, too bad for you." Butch retorted. Brick shot him a dirtily look. But he only sighed heavily looking down. Butch's humor instantly ceased… His brother just looked so… stricken. "Hey, I was just messing around."

"Yeah, but you're not entirely false…" Brick said. Boomer and Butch looked sorrowfully at him. "She won't even give me a chance."

"The girl has monsters lurking in her past. Just give her time. She'll come around." Butch spoke seriously. Brick nodded and took a deep breath. Boomer laid a comforting hand on his shoulder.

And just like always, the brothers relaxed in their familiar bubble that allowed them to escape everything else. They had each other, for now that was all they needed.

"Michael, you will never believe what happened today." Lily spoke as she entered their home. She was greeted by the sight of her husband feeding their son a jar of creamed bananas. Blake's favorite. The infant shrilled in joy upon seeing his mother.

"Oh yeah? What happened?" Michael's eyes watched his wife's form as she swooped over and gave her two men a kiss. She then sat in Michael's lap and took a nearby napkin to wipe Blake's face.

"I was at the store getting the groceries…"

"Which I'm guessing are still in the car." Michael interrupted humorously.

"and as I'm putting them in the car, the bag ripped." Lily continued without pause. "I got so frustrated, but then a limo pulled up." Michael looked intrigued by this part. She nodded, looking down at him. "That's right, a limo. And out of it came a blonde boy. He was so adorable and sweet. He helped me put everything up. He said his name was Boomer."

"Boomer?" Michael asked, his voice holding small recognition. Lily didn't miss this tone.

"Does that name ring a bell?" She asked.

"I heard it while the moving company was helping us unpack. They were talking about a rich couple and their three sons, Brick, Butch, and Boomer."

"He did say he had brothers… I could've just met the son of local celebrities." Lily spoke as the info swirled in her mind.

"What else did you say to him?" Michael asked.

"I talked briefly about Blossom, and said if he needed anyone he could call me. He looked… distraught when he spoke of his parents. He said his mother was there but his father was distant… He looked so sad though. You should've seen it."

"Always playing councilor." Michael joked affectionately, kissing her forehead.

"I'm a pediatric therapist, Mike. How else should I react to a child in need. I think of our children every time I meet a new soul."

"I know. I know. You're so caring. That's why I fell in love with you." He said sweetly. Lily laughed and kissed him on the lips. She stood and headed back to the door.

"And all these years I thought it was because of my awesome butt." She laughed. Michael joined, while Blake only gurgled happily.

"No, my dear, that was only a bonus." He chuckled. Lily blew a kiss as she walked out the door to get the groceries. Michael focused back on his son. "Mommy is so weird huh?" He picked him up and headed to the bathroom. "Let's go get you clean so Mommy doesn't get on to your old man. We wouldn't want that, now would we?"

Blake's answer came from a sloppy slap to his dad's face, leaving a glob of smashed bananas on Michael's left cheek.

"I see you're on her side." He laughed.

Not much I know, but I thought a filler was what it needed for now. This chapter was a bridge to some recent ideas. After a year I think I want this story to go in a slightly different way. Though I still have my prior idea to guide me.

Now you all see the home life of Blossom. Their relationship is cute, huh?

Lily is a Pediatric Therapist, and for those who don't know, that means she talks to children about their problems. Michael is a stay-at-home father who works for a home computer service. In fact, he helped design the program.

Just a little background info for you

Again, I'm so sorry. I will try to update as soon as I can.
