Marion looked down at Thunderbird 1 from the GDF carrier with a sigh and Colonel Casey smiled at her.

"You'll see them again I'm sure, we work very closely with Intentional Rescue."

Marion nodded, "I hope so."

Virgil looked across at Thunderbird 1 which had caught up with his ship, "you've had your kiss goodbye already? That was quick."

"What are you talking about?"

"Oh come on Scott. You and Marion were all over each other."

"If you're referring to what happened in the Mole, you only gave us one seat."

"That's how many I can fit into the back, I didn't know you were both falling."

"You liar."

Virgil smirked, "well you certainly looked cosy. I mean, she was practically sitting in your lap."

"Shut up."

"Don't leave me hanging, did you ask her out?"

"Of course not, but I got her a job with the GDF."

"Ah, so she'll be an ally or co-worker. Very clever."

Scott shook his head, "you really are a dick."

"Isn't that brothers are for? May I remind you how much you teased me when I started dating that girl at college."

"Ah yes, Zoey Chamberlain, she was nice."

"You teased me to high heaven, so I'm only returning the act."

"We weren't flirting so you can drop that accusation."

"Whatever, but you were flirting. I heard you over the comms channel; "You can thank me later?" Come on, you were almost saying she could do whatever with you when that was over."

"She was going to kill me later, she didn't exactly hesitate with that mechanical suit earlier."

"Just shows she really likes you, and you taught her a valuable lesson about uranium to the point she let you save her."

"I suppose so."

"Stand up for yourself then, you could get a date with that girl one day."

Scott smiled to himself, maybe Marion was different and at least now that she was working for the GDF he only had to call them and get her extension line to talk to her if he ever wanted to, however, that could come across as stalking her which was something Scott really didn't want to get mixed up in, not to mention the stuff about kissing had been a lie already. They had kissed, overlooking the buried mine, and it had been great. Her lips were soft on his, and her fingers had tightly pressed into the back of his uniform as his own hands held her waist as he angled his head to the side to push the kiss into a new direction, they had broken the kiss on a laugh as the GDF flier hovered and began to land and he had left her with them as he ran to Thunderbird 1 with the packaged 'uranium' to deliver to the Hood knowing full well that it wasn't uranium he was delivering but instead, an empty burger box.
