Scott watched his brother and Penelope from afar before looking towards the tent he knew he had to go back to, Virgil was at his side before he even called him and felt his hand on his shoulder.
"Don't blame him entirely."
"Virgil, he didn't care if our brother was even alive or not, doesn't that tick you off?"
"Of course it does, but you were acting on emotions earlier, don't punch him now."
Scott shrugged his brother's hand off his shoulder, "fine. I won't."
Virgil followed Scott into Professor Harold's tent where the man was writing up a report on his journey into the temple, he turned around in shock when he saw the boys and cowered slightly, "please, I didn't mean any harm."
Scott shook his head, "I've come to apologise. I overreacted earlier. Can you forgive me?"
"Mister Tracy, rescue worker or not, I could have you arrested for attempted assault."
"You wouldn't dare," Virgil frowned. "Scott didn't touch you."
"Overreaction is the perfect way to describe what he did. I've dedicated my life to history, and three people weren't going to stop me," he turned to Virgil. "And you sir ripped the top off that pyramid destroying centuries of precious architecture including the statue itself!"
Scott glared, "you heard our associate say that the mountain buried itself, you were never going to find the centre."
"Nevertheless, I am going to sue your organisation for damaging a historical site, and threatening a member of the public."
"You really are a little weasel aren't you," Scott snarled. "Putting your needs before others. If my brother hadn't destroyed the top of the pyramid, our friends would have died."
"I stand by what I said."
"We'll find a way to win the case Harold, you don't have a leg to stand on," Virgil muttered darkly. "If there were a treasure, we would've done our best to make sure you didn't get it. Let's go, Scott."
Scott nodded, "horrible little man, I hope we never have to rescue you again."
"So long International nuisances."
Virgil led Scott out as the eldest swore, "hey hey, let it go."
"I've never felt so angry after a rescue!"
"I know, but getting violent isn't going to solve the problem. Let's get home, Gordon will be waiting."
Scott sighed, "I'll see you there. Say goodbye to Penny for me if you see her."
Thunderbird 1 was the first to arrive home and Kayo almost collided with the eldest as he stormed past her going towards the gym, she looked after him then followed him down at a jog until they ended up in the room together.
"What's up?"
"Professor. Harold." He replied angrily as each word was interrupted by a punch to the sandbag.
"That bad huh. What did he do?"
"The twat, was more concerned about his rewards, than someone's, life!"
Kayo took his hands in hers, "combat. Come on, pretend I'm Harold."
"Kayo, you do not want to name yourself that right now," Scott panted as he was pulled into the ring.
"Try me," she positioned herself into an attack stance and Scott ran at her. "Much better," she smirked as she flipped him onto his back, "did you teach him a lesson?"
Scott got to his feet, "of course not. Besides, Virgil was there to stop me," he attacked again but Kayo dodged. "Stand still. I thought we were doing arm to arm combat?"
Kayo laughed, "I'm just trying to loosen you up. Fine, I'll let you attack me."
Scott lunged at her but he was flung to the ground again not being able to get a grip on any part of her body, "you're not helping."
"But I'm taking your mind off the mission aren't I?" Kayo caught his fist in her hand. "Mission accomplished."
Scott smiled, "I guess so."
"Don't let it get to you. Gordon is fine, and so are Penelope and Parker. He won't sue us if I have any say in the matter."
"And how are you going to stop him?"
"I have ways of dealing with people like him, you'll see," Kayo grinned. "I'll catch you later."
Scott watched her go with a warm smile, "FAB."
