Moffy smiled as Brains showed her around the lab, "so this is where you built them all?"

"The prototypes uh really, the hangars had to be built first or there wouldn't have been space."

"This is magnificent Hiram, thank you. It certainly beats my lab."

"I liked your lab, but I prefer isolation when I'm working."

"Even with them?" She pointed above indicating the boys.

"They're a tease, but they're family."

"How long do you think Moffy is staying?" Gordon pondered.

"Well it's already evening so she'll have to stay over," Alan smirked. "Do we have the guest room set up?"

"Will you two stop it?" Scott rolled his eyes.

"Umm Virgil was the one who began laughing, it wasn't us," Gordon retorted as Virgil glared at him. "Don't act all innocent bro."

"I laughed yeah, but you two have made it way too childish now."

Scott stood up, "I'm going to make sure the guest room is ready. It's up to her."

As he walked out he met Professor Moffat coming up the stairs with Brains, she smiled at him and he decided to ask there and then.

"Professor, would you like to stay here tonight?"

"Oh, Brains said he would drop me off home tonight, I haven't brought any stuff with me."

"But it's late?"

"I'll arrive home in the morning, besides I won't be able to sleep because of the time difference. Thank you for the offer though, I was just on my way to say goodbye to everyone."

"Alright then."

Professor Moffat smiled again, "this is a beautiful house, and the hangars are incredible. You don't realise how huge your ships are until you see them parked."

Scott smirked, "that was our first thought when Brains finished the build."

Brains blushed, "I wanted them to be perfect."

Scott rejoined everyone with the scientists and elbowed Virgil who was giggling, Moffat smiled at everyone.

"I better be going. Thank you for making me feel so welcome and saving me from the train."

Virgil crossed his hands behind his head, "it wasn't too hard a mission."

"Speak for yourself," Gordon muttered earning a glare from Scott.

"This isn't about you," Virgil sighed. "And don't be rude in front of our guest."

Grandma smiled thanking the stars it wasn't her job to tell her boys what they already knew, "what ship are you taking Professor?"

"Hiram is giving me a ride in the jet apparently. Oh, and please call me Lizzie," she smirked.

Brains nodded, "it'll be quick."

"Just be careful," Virgil smiled. "Or we'll be coming out to rescue both of you."

"Thank you, Virgil," Brains blushed. "Well Liz, shall we go?"

"Yes thank you. It was lovely to see you all again and thank you for today, we kept that centurion away from the Hood. I can't even begin to think what damage he could've done with it."

"Our pleasure Lizzie, hope you get home safely," Scott sat back against the sofa.

"Thank you, Scott, and before I forget, could you send a message to your London agent that I owe her too, please? I didn't ask how to get in contact."

"Consider it done. Goodbye professor."

Lizzie smiled then followed Brains down to the jet, "they're not that bad."

"Any uh minute now you're going to hear laughing," Brains held her hand as they walked and as he predicted he heard laughing. "One of them must be watching."

Professor Moffat laughed, "oh Hiram, they're just jealous."
