So, back on this as I never heard from anyone who had been asking to adopt it….
Here is the new running order, based on airdates and in the case of movies, where they fit chronologically, as there is no confirmed timeline that I know of, this is where they most likely fit in based on the Pokemon used, etc:

Bright and early the next morning the group of friends awoke. Bonnie looked over at Clemont and Serena as she got up, nudging her brother on her way back into the main room.
"Bonnie!" Clemont protested.
"Yes, big brother?" She inquired, smiling sweetly at him. Clemont just sighed at her antics as they walked into the room to find the rest of them.
"So, what are we gonna do about James?" May asked the rest of them, looking around Bonnie could see that the Team Rocket member had yet to join them.
"Well we can't get rid of him, we don't even know how to get out of here ourselves." Misty stated.
"But do we want him to watch all of these with us?" Dawn asked.
"What can we do about that, though?" Brock wondered.
"Well none of us can leave, so I suggest we get comfortable with him here." Clemont said. "We have had to work with him before, I'm sure we can manage this time as well."
"I'll watch him, make sure he behaves himself." Bonnie volunteered.
"Alright, Bonnie, you'll keep an eye on James during all of these clips, Max, will you as well?" May asked her brother.
"I suppose I can do." Max sighed teasingly.
"So, shall we get onto the next clip?" Dawn asked.
"Yeah, this one is apparently called Charmander, The Stray Pokemon?" Clemont asked.
"Oh, this one!" Misty said, eyes lighting up in recognition of what was about to happen. Nobody noticed James slinking into the room as they talked, except for Bonnie, who cast an eye over him.
The story followed the three young Pokemon trainers walking around, lost and confused, before sighting a large rock with a Charmander perched atop it, looking down at them.
"So, Ash plans to catch this Charmander? Won't it have a trainer already?" Bonnie asked.
"Just wait and see." Brock promised with a sly smirk.
They watched as Ash tried again and again to capture Charmander with no success, before Pikachu spoke with Charmander and learnt that it had a trainer. They decide to leave it and carry on, before rain begins to come down.
"Wait, that Charmander isn't in the rain, is it?" Serena asked with worry.
"I'm sure it's trainer came back." Clemont reassured her, missing the looks on the faces of Misty and Brock.
They heard a new trainer named Damian brag about how strong he was and how he had abandoned a weak Charmander, not caring if it died, saying he had told it he would return for it, but would leave it to its fate. Hearing this, Brock got up and headed over to him, demanding he save Charmander and threatening him, before Ash and Misty also told him off.
"You want to fight with me?" Damian asked.
"Let's go!" Ash told him.
"Kick his butt, Ash!" Max called, before Nurse Joy broke up the scene.
The trio headed out to go save Charmander in the pouring rain, with Spearow gathering around to attack it, before Pikachu chased the Spearow away with a Thundershock attack. Ash and Brock carried Charmander back to the Pokemon Center, helping it to a bed for Nurse Joy to help it.
"Charmander, get better, please." Bonnie begged, watching the screen with tears in her eyes. Looking around, she could see everyone had tears in their eyes, even James, though he tried to hide them with a quick wipe.
"Charmander has recovered. It should be fine by morning." Joy announced, the people watching cheered.
"Yay, Charmander!" Serena called out.
"I'm glad Charmander pulled through." Clemont said.
"I'm just sad about what happened next." Brock told them, those who didn't know looking confused.
"What happened next?" Bonnie asked.
"You'll see." Misty said.
Charmander walked back to the rock, to wait for Damian to return, as Misty, Ash and Brock headed on towards Vermillion City, whilst up ahead, Team Rocket were lying in wait to ambush them and capture Pikachu, starting their latest invention up to stop the twerps. Meowth protested that they wouldn't remember where the hole was again and would fall into it again.
"Don't you guys ever give it a rest?" Dawn turned to James to ask.
"It's just a job. The Boss wants premo Pokemon and there are none as strong as that Pikachu." James protested, wilting under all the glares that were being sent his way by the rest of the room.
They watched as the trio fell into the hole, and using rubber, Team Rocket quickly captured Pikachu.
"I will admit, that is a smart plan, and its easy to see why it succeeded." Clemont said, acknowledging the planning that went into it.
"That was myself and Meowth." James admitted. "Jessie is more about action than the plan itself."
"I'll admit, it was a good attempt." Misty grumbled. "Still, stealing Pokemon is wrong."
"How did you manage to get Pikachu back?" Dawn asked.
"We had a friend nearby." Brock said with a smile.
Charmander appeared and challenged Team Rocket, telling them to let Pikachu go, when they refused, Charmander attacked. As Team Rocket fled, Damian noticed Charmander had did it and came back for him, after Ash offered Charmander a place with them.
"Hi, Charmander, been looking all over for ya." Damian lied.
"Damian, it's you!"
"What do you want, Damian?" Brock asked.
Damian bragged about how he was here to claim his tough Charmander, how he was glad he didn't have to raise it and now it was tough, it had to obey him. The trio tried to convince Charmander that Damian didn't care about him, before Charmander deflected Damian's Pokeball, angering Damian, before Charmander and Pikachu sent Damian packing.
"Yay, Charmander!" Everyone cheered as Brock and Ash discussed who deserved to catch Charmander.
"Welcome to the group." Ash told Charmander as he jumped into the Poke Ball that Ash offered, joining the team, as the clip faded to black.
"Wow, that was definitely something, so Ash still has Charmander now?"
"He's a Charizard now, definitely a really strong Pokemon." Misty told those who didn't know, Bonnie looked amazed.
"I can't wait to meet him one day."
"I'm sure Ash and Charmander would love that." Brock told her. "Shall we start the next one?"
"Yes please," Max said.
