"This is the life," Thought Calem as he was sipping down on a tropical drink with a tiny umbrella in it. He was sitting on a chair near the pool. It was a sunny day. He had finally escaped that psychotic girl and was now living worry-free.

It was only a few days since he had arrived in the Hoenn region. He was living the life. The hotel was so luxurious that he'd had forgotten what he was worried about.

A shadow soon blocked the sun from his face. A bit irritated he looked up to see who it was but couldn't make out because he could only make out the outline of the person. Judging by the hair it was a woman.

"Anything else we could get you,...sir?" The lady asked in a sweet tone.

Finding out it was a waitress he backed down a bit. He then stopped drinking his beverage.

"No, I'm fine." He replied, but she didn't go away.

"Are you sure,...sir?"

"Yes?"

"You don't want anything to eat,...sir?" Her voice lost its sweetness.

"No, thank...you?" He was starting to get shivers up his spine,

"Not even… a knuckle sandwich...sir?" Her voice was now dark and right up to his ear.

He slowly came to realise whom voice he was hearing. He slowly turned his head to be greeted with the eyes of death itself.

Then the fist of death.

He was knocked out of his chair. He looked back at Serena, who had not a smile of a cheerful person but one of attend to kill.

"Did you think you could really escape from me?" She put back her fake cheerful tone.

"Come on, why are you doing this?" Calem was shuffling back away from her. "Was it the battle we had? You beat me so many times. I only beat you this once."

"You humiliated me!" She shouted. He always had the type advantage but she always beat him by changing pokemon. But now? He had beaten her while she had the type advantage without it.

Calem couldn't just sit on the ground and wait for her to strike. So he jumped over the railing of the pool. Other guests looked out in shock before one of them finally spoke out.

"Did he really just do that? We're on the 20th floor!"

Calem was falling before he realised what he just did.

"I didn't think this through!" he screamed

"You can't escape that easy!" A voice calling him from behind shouted.

Calem only looked in horror to what he was witnessing. Serena was falling with him. He just prayed that he would wake up first after they landed.

Calem's mother witnessed the whole thing from the window in their room.

"Ah, young love." She said before turning around ready to head for the spa.
