AU: What an opening episode and what an ending, oh my goodness Pen/Ink! I hope they become canon now, but I feel like that was a one time only deal, unfortunately. That being said thank you so much TAG for that, you have made my weekend!

Dis: It's so good to be back writing these, only seven left :( what to do then? I'm going to miss my Tracy boys.

FAB2 moved swiftly through the water on its way back to Australia, her passengers were relaxing on the deck minus Captain Jax and Elliot who had gone with Virgil in Thunderbird 2 to hospital. Stu was being dropped off in Sydney and although happy to have left the tsunami behind, he was not so happy travelling on another boat.

"How was the pie?" He asked timidly as the boat rocked gently.

Penelope smiled from where she was sitting beside Gordon, "it was lovely, thank you."

"Yeah, your cooking would sure go down well on our island."

Stu smiled, "thanks, but I think I'm going to stay on land. The sea is lovely, but it's too hazardous for me."

"It's not that bad, trust me," Gordon smirked. "I work on and under it all the time."

"Ah, well we all have our preferences."

The doors opened and Parker cleared his throat. "Excuse me, M'Lady? We are h'approaching the Australian coast," he wrapped his hands behind his back casting a look over at Gordon who was stroking Sherbet on his lap again.

"Thank you, Parker. Follow me Stu, I'll escort you to the harbour."

"Thanks, Lady Penelope. It was great meeting you Gordon, and thanks for rescuing us."

"No problem, it's what we do," he grinned then sat back against the cushions as Virgil's hologram appeared above his wrist. "Hey, big brother."

Virgil smiled, "someone looks happy?"

"I don't know what you're talking about," he blushed. "Um, how are Captain Jax and Elliot?"

"Jax is in surgery with Elliot. They'll set his leg properly and he'll be fine. I'm on my way back to the island, are you sure I can't pick you up?"

"No no, Penelope is going to drop me off, we've just said goodbye to Stu," Gordon said hastily.

Virgil chuckled to himself, "I see. Well, see you later then."

"FAB, over and out," he looked down at the pug sitting on his knee. "You'll keep this secret right? Yeah, I'm sure you will," he patted Bertie's head. "She kissed me, buddy. She made the first move. I had no idea that's how she really felt about me." He gazed up at the cream ceiling, "I feel like I could fly."

Penelope walked back into the room and closed the doors behind her as the ship cast off from the harbour, "what a day."

Gordon lifted Sherbet off his lap and held his hand out to her, "is Stu okay?"

Penelope took his hand in hers without hesitation and sat down beside him, "he's absolutely fine, just a little shaken."

"About earlier Pen, did you mean that kiss?"

Penelope smiled, "of course I did Gordon, why wouldn't I mean it?"

"I wondered if you were just being nice."

Penelope laughed softly, "I really have missed you Gordon, and you did save me today."

"But would you have kissed one of my brothers if they had done the same?"

"Oh Gordon, don't be silly," she placed a hand on his cheek. "They would get a thank you of course, but not in the same way."

Gordon moved closer to her on the sofa and placed his hand on her back, "is this, okay?"

"Just kiss me, Gordon Tracy," she replied, rolling her eyes with a smirk.

Gordon grinned before pressing his lips to hers, a thousand thoughts filled his mind at once and stars sparkled in his vision, her perfume swelled around him and he felt her knees press against his own as she moved closer to him, he broke the kiss momentarily.

"Do you like me more than my brothers then?"

"I said I'd never tell, but does what we're doing answer your question?"

Gordon tucked a strand of curled hair back over her ear then kissed her again, he closed his eyes lovingly as her hand raked through his hair, her lips were soft against his and he wished he had done this earlier. Why had they both been so hesitant?

"You mean a great deal to me, Gordon," Penelope sighed lying against his chest as they stretched back on the sofa.

Gordon stroked her hand under his, "I do?"

"Yes, you've never been very subtle but you have always looked out for me, and I can see how much I mean to you by your actions. Going to my house to find Sherbet comes to mind," she smiled at the pug who barked happily at her.

"Oh yeah, Scott still hasn't forgiven me for doing that. Does Parker approve?"

"He has no choice, you're who I want to be with Gordon, and that's the way it's going to be," she kissed his hand in hers then smiled as she heard him chuckle, suddenly her communicator beeped and she sat up. "Parker?"

"Approaching Tracy Island, M'Lady."

"Ah good. Come along Gordon."

"What do I say? Virgil will see what's going on immediately."

"No he won't, trust me," she squeezed his hand and he grinned.

They were more than fortunate with their landing, as when they arrived on the island they walked straight into an argument between Scott and Virgil over how Thunderbird 2 had been used underwater again.

"Virgil, just promise me you won't do it again. You know what happened last time, and this time you didn't plan ahead."

"I'll always do what I can."

Scott threw his hands up, "you're so frustrating sometimes Virgil, you really are!" He turned, "oh, hi Penelope."

"Good to see you, Scott."

Virgil smirked at Gordon who was still looking slightly pink then turned to Penelope, "is Stu alright?"

"He's fine Virgil. Have we come in at a bad time?" She looked across at Scott who was tapping his heel impatiently against the sofa he was sitting on.

"No, he's just pouting."

Scott's head snapped up, "no I'm not."

Penelope smiled as she sat down beside Gordon, unusually close, "if I can say something about the mission? Virgil was absolutely right to take Thunderbird 2 underwater, it was my idea the first time and we managed to retrieve the Zero X capsule, this time we saved a tanker and its crew."

Scott smiled, "and I'm very happy you did, it's just, Thunderbird 2 isn't a submarine as hard you try to make it out to be." He sighed, "I don't want you endangering your life if you don't have to, Virgil."

"Noted," he walked up to the piano and pressed down lightly on the keys as the conversation continued in the ring.

Kayo and Alan entered the lounge laughing from their training session, Gordon smiled and stood up as they ran towards him.

"Good to see you on your feet," Kayo pulled him into a one-armed hug.

"It was great to be back out in the field."

Alan wrapped his arms around him once Kayo had let go, "the fish has legs!"

Gordon chuckled as he ruffled his brother's hair, "very funny."

"Lady Penelope, what are you doing here?" Kayo asked as she sat down beside Scott, resting her hand on his knee as he kissed her cheek.

"Dropping your brother home."

"You're not going back to England tonight?"

"Well that was the idea, but if you think we should delay it?" She smiled at Gordon who gulped slightly.

"Good. We'll get MAX to make up the guest bedrooms."

Virgil ran a loud scale down the piano which made everyone jump then stood up from the piano stool, "I'm going to get some sleep. Good work today Gordon."

"Me? It was all you and Penelope."

"Thanks for saving me, Virgil," Penelope looked up at him but didn't move. "See you in the morning."

Scott nodded, "I'll meet you in the hangar tomorrow and help you clean Thunderbird 2."

"Thanks, Scott," he waved his hand back at his brother as he left the lounge and Scott sighed.

Later that night, Gordon wasn't surprised in the slightest when Penelope joined him in his room, and the pair hadn't stopped kissing since the door had been locked. His hands ran down her body and she stroked her nails across his muscular torso, following every line and scar from his recent accident, he hissed slightly as her finger stroked a bruise and she pulled back apologetically.

"Sorry."

"It's okay."

"You're still fragile, just tell me where not to touch."

Gordon shook his head as he kissed her nose, "no, this is fine."

Penelope smiled as she lay back on the pillow staring up at the young man she had fallen in love with years ago, "come here, Minnow."

Gordon grinned broadly and wrapped his arms around her, "I love you Pen."

Virgil pulled his balcony doors across and heard giggling from the room along, he smiled to himself. "Well, it's about time, Gordo."
