Shorty: I got a dream, I got some dream, I… Oooooh, somebody get me a glass, coz I just found me a tall drink of water.
Gothel: Oh, stop it you big lug. A-ha-ha-ha-ha. Where's that tunnel led out?
Shorty: Knife!
Rapunzel jumped.
"You threatened him" she said.
"I have to make sure you get home safe. Your power must be protected darling" said Gothel. Upset, Rapunzel nodded.
Flynn: Well, I've got to say, didn't know you had that in you back there. That was pretty impressive.
Rapunzel was pretty impressed with herself. She knew her mother was just trying to protect her, but Rapunzel felt like a prisoner.
Rapunzel: I know! I know.
So, Flynn, where're you from?
Flynn rubbed the back of his head. He isn't going anywhere near that.
Flynn: Whoo-oo! Sorry, blondie, I don't do back-story. However I am becoming very interested in yours. Now I, I know I'm not supposed to mention the hair.
Rapunzel shook her.
Rapunzel: Nope
Flynn: Or the mother.
"Don't even go there" growled Gothel.
Rapunzel: Ah, ah.
Flynn: Frankly I'm too scared to ask about the frog.
Pascal rolled his eyes. He didn't want to admit that he was actually starting to like the guy.
Rapunzel: Chameleon.
Flynn: Nuance. Here's my question (though,): if you want to see the lanterns so badly, why haven't you gone before?
Rapunzel: Uh. Huh, well… uh, Flynn… Flynn…
"Oh, no" said Flynn, "we need to start running."
"Agreed" said Rapunzel.
Capt: Rider!
Flynn: Run!
[Flynn & Rapunzel run, appearing at cliff at end of tunnel. St appear.]
Rapunzel: Who's that?
Flynn: They don't like me.
"Really?" said Rapunzel.
[The palace guards appear.]
Rapunzel: Who's that?
Flynn: They don't like me either.
"Would never have guessed" Laughed the Queen.
[Maximus appears.]
Rapunzel: Who's that?!
Flynn: Let's just assume for the moment that everyone in here doesn't like me!
The King laughed.
Rapunzel: Here!
[Rapunzel swings herself to nearby rock]
"Just leave, why don't you" said Flynn. Rapunzel rolled her eyes, she wasn't leaving him. He was her only to survive the outside world.
Capt: I've waited a long time for this.
[Flynn smacks all guards with frying pan]
Flynn: Oh mama, I have got to get me one of these!
"Who needs a sword?" laughed Flynn.
[Maximus draws sword]
"Seriously?" asked Flynn, he looked over at Maximus. Who glared at him.
"I don't think the horse likes you" whispered Rapunzel.
"Really?!"
Flynn: Ha!
[Maximus neighs, they duel]
Flynn: You should know that this is the strangest thing I've ever done!
"Weirder than being wrapped up in hair?" Rapunzel.
"Yes, that is weirder than being tied up in hair" said Eugene.
[Maximus flicks frying pan out of Flynn's hands]
Flynn: How 'bout two out of three?
Rapunzel: Flynn!
[Rapunzel wraps hair around Flynn's hand, pulls him, Maximus astonished]
"Now, that's how you exit" Flynn laughed at Maximus' face.
Rapunzel: Flynn, look out!
"For what?" asked Flynn.
Flynn: Whoa, whoa…
Rapunzel: Ngth!
[Stabbington miss Flynn]
Flynn: Ha! You should see your faces because you look… [hits plank] ridiculous.
Rapunzel snorted.
[Maximus hits plank on dam to get to Rapunzel]
Flynn: Come on, blondie.
Jump.
[Just before Maximus could catch her hair, Rapunzel reaches ground. Flynn & Rapunzel escape to cave]
Rapunzel: [just before they were closed in the cave] Aghhhhh! The cave was quickly filling with water from the dam.
[Flynn picks up frying pan. Flynn & Rapunzel run to higher ground in cave. Flynn dives and surfaces several times]
Flynn: It's no use.
I can't see anything.
The queen tried to hold back her tears, it looked like she was never going to meet her daughter. Gothel tried to hold back her growl. She was going to lose her precious flower.
[Rapunzel dives, Flynn pulls her up]
Flynn: Hey, there's no point. It's pitch-black down there.
Rapunzel: This is all my fault. She was right, I never should have done this.
"Yes, Rapunzel. That is your fault. You should never have left the tower now you have yourself and the thief killed" said Gothel. Rapunzel stated to cry in Flynn's arms.
[sobs] I'm so… I'm so sorry, Flynn. [sobs]
Flynn: Eugene.
"Huh?" said everyone in the audience.
"Eugene is my real name" said Flynn, quietly. "Flynn just sounded cooler."
Rapunzel: What?
Flynn: My real name is Eugene Fitzherbert.
Someone might as well know.
Rapunzel: Hmm.
I have magic hair that glows when I sing.
Flynn: What?
Rapunzel: I have magic hair that glows when I sing! Flower gleam and glow, let your power shine…
Flynn: [underwater, as Rapunzel's hair glows] Whoa!
[Flynn & Rapunzel swim to remove the rocks and they escape]
Most of the audience cheers.
