A/N: Hey everyone time for another update hope you like it now I already mentioned about the pairing last chapter I will also say that Sakura will be different than Canon, and the main thing is she won't be obsessed with Sasuke although Ino more than likely will. Hope you enjoy this. I will say that the Kyūbi may hate Naruto and every human but he wants a strong container so has his own ways to screw with the people trying to screw over Naruto, there will also be surprises in the story so stay tuned.

It's now time for Naruto and Kiba to start their ninja careers, Tsume's worried about Naruto though, the village still hates him and she fears that Naruto may get sabotaged at the academy because of what he holds, but she's there to help him if he needs help, she made it clear to Naruto that if he feels that there not teaching him to come to him or Hana if she's not there.
Naruto and Kiba arrive at the academy and immediately they both see the glare that's aimed Naruto's way, neither know why they hate Naruto they both think it's their pranks which have only increased since they first started.
Kiba asks the teacher which room there going to be in because they always ignore Naruto, The teacher just points to the room but doesn't stop the glare aimed Naruto's way.
They both look at each other and grin both thinking 'Our first academy victim.'
Naruto opens the door and he and Kiba step inside and see several other kids Naruto immediately sees Sakura and Ino, Sakura waves at Naruto who waves back, Ino just looks over and shakes her head not understanding what Sakura sees in him when there's such a handsome kid in the class called Sasuke Uchiha, she just grins, 'Enjoy It while you can idiot the moment she sees Sasuke, she'll ignore you exist.'
Naruto and Kiba take a seat at the back of the class then Sakura approaches them "Hey Naruto-kun, hey Kiba," Then she sees Akamaru on Kiba's head "Oh hey Akamaru-kun."
Naruto smiles "Hey Sakura-chan, you ready for the academy our journey begins."
Sakura grins back "Oh, I'm ready." She then looks at Kiba "Do you think Kiba will be OK though I'm sure Akamaru-kun will be fine though."
Kiba pouts "Hey, I've got this in the bag."
Sakura just grins and rubs Akamaru's head before waving to them and joining Ino. Kiba looks at Naruto, "So we ready to rule the academy."
Naruto shakes his head "I have no problem but you I'm not so sure about."
Kiba rolls his eyes "Whatever, we both got this."
Just then the door opens and in comes Sasuke Uchiha, once Ino sees him she squeals, Sakura looks up she admits he's cute but shakes her head at Ino.
Naruto and Kiba look up and see several of the girls blush seeing Sasuke, Naruto looks at Sakura who looks up and waits for her reaction he saw Ino squeal but he's surprised and kind of happy when Sakura doesn't seem to be like the rest of the girls and he even giggles when he sees her shake her head at Ino's reaction.
Kiba scoffs "The guys a loser, look at them all drooling over that loser, seems your girlfriend isn't like that though."
Naruto rolls his eyes he notices Hinata barely even acknowledged he was there than because of Kiba's comment he decides to tease him back "Seems your girlfriend is just like the rest of them though."
Kiba looks Naruto then sees Naruto grin "Nah, she barely even acknowledged he entered the room, so you don't have to cry."
Kiba scoffs "As if I'd cry because of that."
Not long after that the teacher comes in and starts the class, unfortunately, the teacher immediately starts to prove Tsume's assumption correct when the teacher refuses to acknowledge when Naruto asks a question Kiba growls at that then asks Naruto what he wanted to ask then he asks the question which is answered, Naruto and Kiba just shake their heads.
Sakura notices also then looks at the teacher puzzled the rest of the morning Kiba asks the questions that Naruto wanted to ask. When lunch happens Naruto and Kiba quickly leave and sit down on the grass and start eating the lunch that Tsume prepared for them and Akamaru.
As there eating they hear someone approaching and sees it's Sakura surprisingly not with Ino.
She smiles at them "Can I join you."
Naruto pats the place beside him and she sits down and she pulls out her own Bento box and she starts eating and drinking her juice. After they've all eaten they start talking Sakura looks at them "I noticed that after the teacher didn't even answer then I saw you two talking what were you talking about."
Naruto tells Sakura about the question that the teacher didn't even attempt to answer, so he asked Kiba to ask the same question.
Sakura seems puzzled "Why would the teacher not even attempt to answer he seemed to answer everyone else's questions."
Naruto tells her all what's happened since he and Kiba arrived at the academy this saddened Sakura because Naruto's her friend so to see this happening makes her sad. They continue talking until they're told to head back inside.
This time when they sit down Sakura sites on the empty chair next to Naruto that nobody used earlier.
Ino just shook her head not understanding Sakura's motives. Even the teacher was surprised but just shook his head. Whenever Naruto wanted to ask a question he either told Sakura or Kiba and they would ask the question and they were answered.
When the day ended Naruto and Kiba said goodbye to Sakura and were met outside by Hana who brought them home, When Mebuki saw Sakura say goodbye to Naruto and Kiba she was unsure what to do, she knows who Naruto is she also knows who his mum was because they were friends.
She wasn't sure if it was a good idea for Sakura to be around Naruto not because she hates him because she doesn't but because the rest of the village may treat her differently, ultimately she'd talk with Kizashi about it.
It seems there close so it wouldn't be a good thing to break them apart because she personally thinks Naruto needs friends and she was also glad when she heard that her other friend Tsume took Naruto in.
After Sakura found her way to Mebuki they went home, once they got home she asked about Sakura's first day, Sakura told her about all the girls bar her and Hinata were drooling over the Uchiha, Sasuke, she thought he was cute but seems to have arrogance problems.
She then told her about the teacher outright ignoring answering Naruto's question even when he was the only one who lifted his hand to ask a question.
Mebuki was quite angry about that but was happy when Sakura said that Naruto and Kiba would talk and Kiba would ask the same question and that after lunch Sakura sat with them and did the same.
Mebuki shook her head, angry with the teacher, and can only imagine Tsume blowing a fuse when she hears about it. After they spoke Sakura went to her room while she and Kizashi spoke, and they agreed that Sakura could be friends with Naruto.
Meanwhile, when Naruto and Kiba got home Tsume asked how their day was and like Sakura did Naruto and Kiba explained everything from the moment they arrived at the academy until they were let out at the end of the day.
Like Mebuki assumed Tsume blew a fuse, she sent Naruto and Kiba to go and play while she ranted about the idiot teacher at the academy, and hoping that things change although she feared that more of the same would happen, she was happy with Sakura and Kiba asking the questions Naruto wanted to know.
Over the next few months, the same old routine happened, but the teacher seemed to catch on to what Sakura and Kiba were doing so made the three of them sit apart but everyone else could sit where they wanted.
Of course, this was how Naruto became friends with Shikamaru because they ended doing what Sakura and Kiba were doing and the teacher couldn't keep moving everyone around just to make the so-called demon brat suffer and remain dumb.
This only made things worse when Tsume found out what had happened, the teacher had threatened Kiba that if he helped Naruto he would make his time in the academy as bad as Naruto's
Of course, Tsume stormed into the room and started beating the shit out of him with two Anbu having to restrain her but the teacher was also fired for his job for his actions, it seems he had also threatened Sakura.
Tsume wasn't punished for her actions even if the council thought she should have because the council were adamant that the so-called demon brat should remain weak and anyone assisting him should also suffer.
Of course, these were secret council meetings without the Clan councils and the Hokage present, neither was Mebuki present as she was a member of the council but her daughter had befriended the so-called demon brat.
What they didn't know was that the council were not as smart as they thought they were, and after one such meeting the Hokage barged through the doors and had the whole council temporary disbanded until he could get answers.
Naruto, Kiba, and Sakura had no idea about any of this and there newest teacher although he may have hated Naruto because he was a dumb idiot weren't going to get caught he had his own plans for making Naruto suffer.
Now after the first teacher was fired he and the other teachers had to take the classes, but they all agreed to plot Naruto's downfall. Each teacher bar Iruka Umino who wasn't taking a class yet had ways to sabotage Naruto, in Taijutsu, they unknowingly to Naruto placed weights in his clothes.
At first, Naruto could barely fight but after a while, he got used to the weights not that he even knew he wore them so they had to think of more plans.
Another thing was giving him weighted Kunai and Shuriken but like before overtime Naruto got used to them.
After the weights in his clothes failed they picked Naruto to fight against the bullies of the class, but they didn't know that Naruto has trained with Kiba, Hana and Tsume since he moved into the Inuzuka compound, so he'd just kick their asses.
Back in the classroom, they tried to place Genjutsu's on Naruto's tests but once again they failed, this time it wasn't Naruto's doing, no this time it was the Kyūbi himself, he may hate all humans and especially Naruto for being his weak container.
He's been keeping an eye on the teacher's actions, he'd scoff at everything they did, he even started to be impressed with Naruto for overcoming these problems, unfortunately, Genjutsu's was one thing Naruto couldn't do.
He didn't have any idea that there was even a Genjutsu on his tests but unfortunately for these lame-ass teachers the Kyūbi know just how to fuck them over so dispelled the Genjutsu's.
Now Naruto couldn't always answer the questions he's quite smart but not as smart as others such as Sakura or Shikamaru, the Kyūbi would laugh his ass off at the pitiful attempts of the teachers to sabotage his container, he also laughed his ass off when Tsume beat the shit out of the old teacher.
Now Shikamaru had over the months started to see strange things happening when it came to Naruto, like him at first being slow in Taijutsu like he was weighed down with something but then saw Naruto get used to whatever was happening to him the same thing seemed to happen with the Kunai and Shuriken.
The last thing that puzzled him was the tests they were given at first he didn't pay much attention but after the first test was given to Naruto he noticed the teacher would grin like he was up to something.
It wasn't until he felt a chakra pulse that he realised that something was not right with Naruto's tests he'd watch Naruto at first look panicked and look at his own test before looking back at Naruto who would then rub his eyes and get a confused look before shrugging and getting on with the test.
All of these things were adding up and if he was anyone else then he was then he'd probably ask Naruto about them but he can't be bothered maybe he'd ask his dad but that would be troublesome.
Shikamaru wasn't the only one who noticed all these things happening both Sakura and Kiba would notice, for Sakura she'd notice the Genjutsu's before they were quickly dispelled this was making her angry but who could she tell it seems the teacher have it out for Naruto.
Kiba would notice strange things going on but unlike Sakura and Shikamaru didn't understand what was actually going on, but Akamaru would bark whenever Naruto was given a test and inform Kiba about a Genjutsu.
After the first year, of failed attempts to sabotage Naruto they had run out of idea's, now if Naruto wasn't living with the Inuzuka's they would find some way to just get rid of Naruto, he'd just a little demon brat but with him living with the Inuzuka that couldn't happen.
By the end of the first year, Sakura was the top Kunoichi, Sasuke was the top Ninja, with Naruto not far behind, Kiba, unfortunately, was classed as the Dead-last of the class with Shikamaru being in that group of failures only because he's lazy.
Now not everything was good though Kiba was the Inuzuka heir so they couldn't do much plus Naruto lived with them but Sakura was a clanless civilian girl so the teachers tried to force Sakura's parents to distance there daughter from Naruto.
Mebuki and Kizashi would humour them but ultimately do nothing but some of the council would cause problems for them whenever they saw Naruto with Sakura and Kiba.
To sort this out Sakura was allowed to go to the Inuzuka compound to hang out with Naruto and Kiba but mainly Naruto and Akamaru.
When this started happening Tsume started to talk to Sakura, asking what her intentions were towards her son Naruto, even if he was only adopted into the clan, Sakura would say their friends and Tsume was OK with that for now, although she did see that she may have a crush on Naruto, and she would think of ways to tease them.
She could only imagine what Kushina would have done if she was alive not only towards Sakura to her son but also to make the village pay, sometimes she'd shiver, she was certain Kushina was watching from above glaring holes right through half the villagers and planning ways to make them pay when they passed on, although the thought amused her.
It was around this time when Tsume saw Sakura and Kiba talking and she overheard them talking about the strange things happening to Naruto, so being the caring mother she is listened in when she heard about the Genjutsu's she'd growl but would be confused when Sakura would say the Genjutsu's were there one moment then dispelled the next.
Away from the small group of Naruto's friends Sakura's old friend Ino couldn't believe what she was seeing, she expected Sakura to forget all about Naruto the moment she saw Sasuke like every other girl bar Hinata did, but it seemed Sakura was immune to Sasuke.
She just couldn't understand it, what did Naruto have that Sasuke didn't, Sasuke was handsome and although she knows Naruto's not ugly he's nowhere near as handsome as Sasuke.
Then there was Sasuke's overall skill he was the top Ninja in the class and again Naruto wasn't the weakest he wasn't the best so why was Sakura hanging around with him, a nobody in her opinion.
Of course, Ino believed that it was all a trick that she secretly wanted to deceive Ino into believing that she wasn't interested in Sasuke so she'd drop her guard, this is what Ino believed so she told Sakura that they were no longer friends that they were now rivals for Sasuke-kun's love.
Sakura was disappointed that Ino stopped being her friends the fact Ino seemed to think that she was interested in Sasuke, to begin with, was a joke, to Sakura, Sasuke was nothing but a brat, who looks down on everyone, shows no interest in anyone, and brags that he's an Uchiha like everyone doesn't already know that.
That all happened before the first year was up, and Sakura just told Naruto and Kiba about Ino's opinion and they all shared a laugh with Naruto telling Sakura that she didn't need a friend like Ino if she thinks that she's a rival for Sasuke when Sakura told them herself she doesn't even like him at all, something that both Naruto and Kiba agreed with.
Away from the little friendship of Naruto and Sakura, Kiba's ongoing crush on Hinata wasn't really going anywhere, Hinata couldn't talk to Kiba and Kiba couldn't talk to Hinata, so it was highly amusing for Naruto and Sakura to watch them try to interact.
Naruto, Sakura, and Kiba are sitting in the back garden playing with Akamaru and Hana's dogs, when they hear their names and see Shikamaru approaching them this is a first but Shikamaru just sits down beside them and lies back and watches the clouds confusing them all.
He doesn't even look at them "My dad's talking to your mum Kiba told me where you guys were."
The three just look at each other before shrugging and continuing to play with the dogs. Inside Shikaku's talking with Tsume, along with Mebuki.
Shikaku groans "So let me get this straight the teachers are trying to sabotage Naruto's career with all these plots but it's not working, I go word of what Ikuragi tried to do with your son and your daughter Mebuki before you kicked his ass Tsume, but you actually think the Kyūbi's dispelling these Genjutsu's placed on Naruto's tests, are you sure it's him."
Tsume sighs "I'm not 100% sure but I know for a fact Naruto-kun can't create Genjutsu's and he can't even detect them get Sakura seems to know about them but before she can dispel them herself they just vanish, so who else could it be, Kiba's just as bad with Genjutsu's although Akamaru-kun seems to know about them."
Shikaku nods, "Shikamaru did mention the first time a chakra pulse coming from Naruto, he said he looked at Naruto's face and he seemed to panic than when he looked again Naruto was rubbing his eyes in confusion."
Mebuki speaks for the first time "The question is why would the Kyūbi dispel them."
Shikaku rubs his chin "Well, do I remember Kushina once told me that if she died the Kyūbi would vanish but return a few years later, we already know that whenever Naruto got injured the Kyūbi was healing him, could the Kyūbi be actively trying to make Naruto strong the complete opposite of what the teachers are doing by trying to keep him weak."
Tsume shrugs "I don't know I've not felt and signs of the Kyūbi trying to influence him I'm sure everyone would know because of the foul chakra so helping Naruto does make sense."
Mebuki sighs "I can only imagine what Kushina would be thinking if she saw what there doing to her baby boy, there'd be a bloodbath if she ever found some way to come back to life and we all know that, do we go to the Hokage about all this."
Shikaku stays silent for a minute "What could the Hokage do, we all know the village hates Naruto, I'm sure the Hokage would be angry but the village has a right to be angry after what the Kyūbi did, he can't exactly order them to stop hating Naruto for the actions of the Kyūbi the village thinks there one and the same."
Tsume growls "So Naruto-kun, has to put up with this just because of the actions of the damn Kyūbi how is that fair on him, he's done nothing wrong but the village is blind to everything, how the hell did they even find out in the first place, nobody ever found out Kushina was the Jinchūriki but within days of Naruto's birth the village knew this feels like that freak Danzō's doing."
Mebuki looks at Tsume "You mean the elder, what could he have to gain by this."
Shikaku scoffs "He runs the ANBU, but he has a shadow organization called ROOT, even though the Hokage told him to disband it he hasn't and the Hokage knows it, why he hasn't done anything I don't know, they're useful, but Danzō is not to be trusted, I know he wants Naruto in ROOT, but the Hokage refuses, I'm surprised he hasn't demanded you hand him over Tsume-san."
Tsume growls and clenches her fist "I would never hand over Naruto-kun to that parasite, Kushina would never forgive me if I did that same for Minato-kun, but I agree Danzō must know he's here but has not once visited me not that I'd listen to him if he even came here."
Shikaku sighs "Well there isn't much we can do it seems whatever there trying is failing and Naruto is one of the top students in the class from what Shikamaru has told me Naruto isn't showing his full skills."
"The fact he can get away from not only Chūnin but also Jōnin and ANBU shows he's fast but it doesn't seem like he's showing that speed in the academy makes me agree with my son, the question is why is he not showing everything, although it is a thing a Ninja would do not show his full skills to blend in more."
Mebuki nods "I'm sure you're teaching him stuff that's not the Inuzuka style."
Tsume grins "Yes, I teach him some stuff but the Hokage brings stuff from his family although he's been told not to show those moves in the academy."
Shikaku smirks "Sly old man, still, Naruto is learning moves from his parents means he'll be a force to be reckoned with when he gets older and has learned things nobody knows about."
Tsume nods "Yes, he will be when he's older, I tend to watch form a distance when he trains in his parents jutsu's but I've also seen Neko in the area watching him, and we all know that she was Kushina's student, plus has the sensing ability to detect if anyone else is in the area that shouldn't be."
Shikaku nods "Well that's good then so we still have to figure out should we inform the Hokage about what the teachers are doing or don't."
Mebuki looks out of the window and sees all the Kids having fun "We should make him aware even if he does nothing he will know about it, could have someone check the grades to see if his scores are being tampered."
Shikaku raises an eyebrow before sighing "That's a good point they must know there Genjutsu's aren't working so tampering with the scores is something they could do, but they won't make it to obvious by making every question wrong because although they hate him he and the Uchiha are the two stand out students for different reasons."
Tsume sighs "I guess that's all we can do then, and hope it improves but I doubt it."
Shikaku and Mebuki just nod agreeing with her.
