Chapter 5

November 8, 1816

Klaus watched mesmerized by a beautiful girl as she dance to the sound of the musician with her pack. She was gorgeous. A brunette with long curly hair, tan skinned with toned legs. She was very unaware of the danger that she was in as her long, strong legs moved so graceful around the fire pit. He moved closer to her and her friends, something telling him to find her eyes that he was sure to be stunning.

He was right. Everything about her was stunning. Too stunning. Klaus was shocked at how she has captivated him so easily and well.

It wasn't uncommon to be a half witch and half werewolf. Is that what he was feeling? That pull? Was it magic? Honestly he didn't care about him being vulnerable right now. He wanted her and he wanted her now. There was no way that she was going to be another one of his test subjects. She was definitely going to be his. What was this pull that ran so deep into his soul?

Mate.

Mate?

Either it was his werewolf side seeping out as a loophole in his mother's spell or his vampire side has found his other half, but either way he didn't care. The girl would be his.

He watched as she moved to the music of a pipe played by some man that he couldn't care less about. What he cared about? Is what he was watching dancing right in front of him. He moved closer only to catch the brunette beauty's eye. The girl blushed at the attention that she was getting from him and nodded her head towards the lake. The girl moved elegantly towards a spot on the wet bank. When the girl turned around, Klaus felt her magic. The pull that he was feeling towards her was very strong. If it were anyone else that was standing in her position, he would have compelled or killed. He wasn't going to be under anyone's control, but this girl could have any control over him as long she shall live.

"Your the vampire that wants half the pack right? I'm Hayley, daughter of the Alpha. I am guessing you feel the pull of the moon too, which is why you came to me. You aren't just a vampire are you?" As Hayley inquired as she rested her hand on his chest and it gradually climbed up to his neck.

"Yes. I am. Klaus Mikaelson. Dear, you might want to lower your hand. I might feel the pull towards you but I am not afraid of a young but beautiful mutt." Her eyes rose to his in a scowl and she raised an eyebrow questioning him and his position.

"I am not a mutt. You are a mutt. I was born of an angel and a lycan whereas you were born of a whore who was a lowly witch and a so called royal pack mutt. You may try to exude power but you are nothing but a worm beneath my boot. Whatever you want from my pack, you cannot have it. I won't allow you." Hayley gripped his throat while her nails protruded out.

Klaus scoffed and chuckled not entirely daring himself to move as he didn't really want to test a lycan to which he had actually never met in his entire life. "Is that a threat darling?"

"Certainly. Now, excuse me." Hayley let go of him and moved passed him bumping into him on purpose. If this vampire wants to think he has any power over here, let him. He'll soon find out just how wrong he is.

"Oh and stop staring. It is pathetic." Hayley sauntered off back to her family growing more irritated that the vampire were still staring her down.

"Kyle!" Hayley screamed as she watched the blonde vampire rip into his stomach. The vampire started to pull out when he saw her coming to defend her brother. When will these assholes of the undead stop coming after the living. The werewolves haven't done anything to them but exist.

Hayley moved quite faster than the vampire and threw him far away with her magic so that she could get Kyle somewhere safe to heal him. She ran towards a small pond to get water for him. Behind her she heard the vampire but wasn't quick enough to prevent him from biting down on her exposed neck. She screamed in pain and tried to push him off of her. It didn't work. Until he was actually ripped from her. Hayley sighed in relief before turning to thank her savior. Instead she frowned at the site in front of her.

"What no thank you, love?" Klaus stood proudly next to the dead vampire. She glared at him and rolled her eyes while moving her brother closer to the pond who wasn't looking too good.

"Great now Father will blame me even though I told you to stop nagging that vamp." Hayley mumbled to Kyle while pulling out some herbs to make a paste for him. "What are you doing here? Are you stalking my pack?" Hayley turned around to Klaus abruptly now even more mad than she was earlier.

"On the contrary love you are on my property." Klaus stated as he prepared to fight the little wolf.

"I am not your love. I am going to heal my brother and make my way with him back home. Now can you go." Klaus grew irritated with her. She obviously was attracted to him. He got the signs but she hated him more than she was...well attracted. He wondered why. Honestly he thought he was a perfect gentlemen the other night around the bonfire. He definitely didn't go around her pack as he didn't want to test exactly what meager power the girl actually had.

"Love, you aren't going to make it out of my compound this late. My newly changed vampires are quite hungry and a pretty girl like you...well even I wouldn't mind having a drink from a deranged mutt like yourself." Klaus spoke with snide with his last remark knowing that it would make her mad and uncomfortable.

Hayley growled and was about to launch at him and attach until a beautiful blonde vampire interrupted. "Brother, what do you think you are doing? Stop patronizing her and help her! Hi, I am Rebekah and you are?"

"Hayley, daughter of the alpha, this is my dying brother Kyle." Hayley walked to her brother and gathered some water from the pond in her satchel before moving to pick him up.

"Where to? The sooner I can heal him and get out of here, the better it is for all of us." Hayley turned to glare at Klaus who was smirking and glaring at her all the while. If she didn't get out of there soon, that attraction to him would take over the both of them. There is no way she was going to be someone's bitch. Not now and not ever.

Rebekah just rolled her eyes at her annoying brother and helped Hayley into the house. For the next three months, the girls would become the best of friends and just like sisters they would tell each other everything. Like how Hayley fell in love with Nikklaus and how she had fell pregnant after a night together with him. Oh well that is for the next chapter.

Hey guys sorry it has been so long but college has gotten in the way of things. I promise I will try harder to write because honestly this is a great way of letting out all of my frustrations with school and family and work. But uh...thanks for the support and also remember that I don't own any of these characters that are originally in the show. I only own my characters that I made up. If I did own TO and TVD, Bamon, Tyroline, Stelena, Matt/Rebekah and Klayley would have happened with Klaus saying psyche bitch and Elijah would die in the end. Long rant...sorry. :(

Remember to catch the Witcher on Netflix. I am hooked. Bye :)
