Prologue – A.
The numbing cold surrounds me in an oddly comforting manner, confusing and beautiful.
I'm surrounded in dark blue and dark green colours, the ground is made up of soft and crumbling sand where sea grass and so many colourful corals grow and expand towards the surface.
I continue to swim by the small sea creatures; crabs, sea worms, families of fish, even an octopus, when I see a large fish tail shining in beautiful blue-green tones before disappearing behind a large rock covered in old barnacles and tall, ancient plants.
I follow the huge fish, as if on instinct, only to stop short when I swim past the boulder.
Green.
Mystical sea green eyes that look like broken shards of glass inside of those irises.
That's all I can see.
And then, I wake up to the sound of a voice that I know and hate oh so well.
"Annabeth." Luke said, his sky blue eyes shining in discontent as he stared down at her like a disapproving parents, instead of the psycho he really was.
And then, much to Annabeth's dismay, she wasn't permitted to think of that beautiful dream as she was dragged away to the pain-inducing reality of her situation.
