THE NEWS AIN'T GRAND
"So I just came back from Paleolithic Parenthood" Pebbles told Wilma confidentially. "I-Mommie-"
Wilma was alarmed. Pebbles hadn't called her "Mommie" except during times of great crisis, since she was six.
"Tell me..." Wilma said gently. "Are you pregnant? I know it's hard for you kids to wait, but..."
Pebbles's eyes filled with tears. How could she tell her mother that the baby wasn't Bammy's?
POSTPONING THE WEDDING?
Bamm-Bamm shrugged as he put down the phone. "Pebbles says we have to postpone the wedding date." He paused as he looked at his dad.
"She didn't tell you why, B.B.?" Barney asked with a raised eyebrow. "You look a little relieved, kid."
"Do-do I?" Bamm-Bamm asked, pained. "Well, you know, pre-altar jitters."
He wondered if he could get to the park before it was too clogged up with ugly queens...this was the night that the mixed up football players showed up to get their "pipes cleaned."
