The boy got up to find himself in a bed. Looking around he could not see where he was, his room? No, it could not be this was bigger and was painted white
"Where am I? And...why does my head hurt so much" Lan grabbing his hair Then something caught his eye
"Huh?" Looking over to see gifts balloons,candy,and flowers that where about to die

"Got to find out where I am" Said Lan getting up from the bed and looking in the cabinets to find his clothes
"Now to see where I am...hey where's my PET?" Said Lan looking around the room but found nothing
"Oh well, that means no taxi for me"
Lan got up all dressed and walked out the door to the hallway
He saw nurse and doctors running around not noticing Lan
"They must be busy to not see me"
Lan eventually found the exit out the building still not knowing it was the hospital
Then 20 minutes later the doctors and nurse where in a panic to find Lan "missing"
"..." was all you could hear in the undernet now
Bass-Cross was floating above the surface of the undernet and was thinking to himself
"...all that power, like that then...gone" Bass Cross finaly spoke killing the silence
"I will find that human boy and use him for my own purposes"
Back in the real world Lan made his way to the SciLabs to find his dad but when he got their the building was damaged the wall was broken off it smoke was there also showing signs that there was a fire
Lan made his way to his dad's office only to find it empty
"Hm, he must be in the test room" Lan said walking over there but empty
"Where is everybody?" Lan asked himself
Everyone was looking for him at the hospital
"Where is Lan!?" yelled despite to find his son
Lan was walking around until he found the repair room for PETs
He walked in looking at the damaged a blue object caught his eye
His PET partly destroyed the screen was broken the top half was broken off
"What? What happened to my PET" Lan said in a shocked voice as he held it in his hands as more pieces came off of it
In the net Lan's friends netnavis where trying to find information of Lan's whereabouts
"Hm don't think so" Said One navi that Roll asked
"Nope" said Another one to GutsMan
"No" another one to Glide
"No luck?" Asked IceMan when they all regrouped they all moved their head for a no
"Have we checked the SciLabs?" Asked NumberMan
"He could be there ,but" Said ProtoMan
"But what?" Said Glide
"But I doubt he can make it there by walking" ProtoMan responded

They all logged out back to their PETs leaving the area empty...or was it?
"Hm...interesting" Said the cloaked figure, Bass Cross
The Then made his way by teleporting into the SciLabs network and found Lan in one of the rooms looking at his broken PET
"Well this new teleporting power is very useful" he told himself
Then Lan turns around to see what he thought was Bass
"Great" Said Lan
"Are we there yet" Asked Mayl and Jasmine
"NO FOR THE MILLION TIME NO!" Yelled Yai to the girls, they were stuck in traffic for the last hour

Then Last part was too much for Lan to take the only navi that was with him was MegaMan and that ment that other half of this NetNavi was...MegaMan
"No it can't be" Lan fell back pushing himself away from the PC screen
"Oh so the other part of me is your netnavi?" Said Bass Cross
"Your other...half...is...MegaMan...my brother"

"Yes his name was Hub"
Then Bass Cross's eyes shot wide open then memories of Hub came to him first being born then death as a child
"Aaaaggghhhhhh" Yelled Bass Cross in pain as he held his head
"Hub?" Said Lan

"I will need your body for his little mission I need"

Then a dimensional area appeared around him and Bass Cross appeared in front of him

he put a small circular device on Lan's forehead Lan feel down in pain as he lost control of his body then he was quiet and his eyes showed no life in them
"Now I need you to go and get me a PET for us" Said Bass Cross to him
"Yes..." said a mindless Lan
The area came down and Lan exit the building and made his way to Chaud's company
"Come on are we their yet?" Said a impatient Mayl
"Almost auugghh" said Yao
And in some limo, Chaud was heading to the SciLabs and was ahead if them, Then Chaud PET started to beeb
"Master Chaud the security cameras have detected a intruder in the building" said the red netnavi
"What?...who is it"
"...looks like a boy with a orange hrs and black shorts with an blue bandana"
"That's Lan!, ProtoMan contact the others to the Blaze company"
"Yes sir"
Moments later
"Alright!" Said Yai after she got the message from Chaud
"Come on Yai we got to get there fast as we can...traffic is clearing up"Said Jasmine
"Driver you heard, step on it!" Ordered the small girl to the driver
"Yes miss Yai" replied the driver
The mindless Lan made it to the part of the building where they make PETs
Then Bass Cross appeared on the screen of a nearby PC
"Okay start!" He said as the machines started to power up and constructed a PET
Then a small dimensional area appeared around the room and Bass Cross appeared besides Lan
"Hm...perfect" he whispered
Soon the PET was finished it was all dark purple with gold lines on the edges of it and the sign was red with a black slash going across it
"Now pick it up in insert this chip" Bass Cross ordered Lan handing him a syhcro chip
Bass Cross appeared in the PET and Lan put the chip in and then put it in his waist
In the entrance Chaud and the others appeared and ran to the room the cameras saw Lan go in
When they finally got there they saw Lan on the ground unconscious
"Lan!" Mayl and Jasmine yelled as they ran towards his but they were stoped by Chaud
"Hey what's the big deal!" They yelled at him "something isn't right" Chaud responded
"What it is?" Asked Dex
"Look where his PET holder is" he said pointing at it
"So? it a PET" Said Yai
"Lans PET was destroyed" said Chaud
"They fixed it didn't they?" Asked Mayl
"It was being repaired"
"So?"
"Look closer"
As they looked more carefully at his PET they saw the details of it
"Its a different color" pointed out Mayl
"Hehehe" came a voice
"Who's there?" Said Chaud holding out his PET ready to summon a Dimensional area
Then Lan's body got up
"Me!" Said Lan's body
"Lan!" Yelled Jasmine
"Hi...what are you guys doing here"
"Looking for you"
"Oh? Really" Said Lan with a grin
"What's up with you Lan?" Said Chaud
"Hmph...Well for starters I'm not Lan anymore" Said the voice from Lan
