It was 11 in the morning. In a small apartment was Kent. Sleeping in as he always was. Part of Lan still remained, not much, but still affected him in small ways.
Four years have passed since his last attack on SciLabs. He has managed to stay low. His appearance had changed by the effects of puberty and the daily work out. He wasn't crazy muscular, but he had noticeable muscle. He has grown to a height of six feet. His hair was the same.
"..."
At the table was a computer. It was connected to a PET. Bass-Cross stood inside waiting for the perfect chance to strike again.
The sun rays coming from the window has now reached the teen's face.
"I really need to buy some curtains." Kent, who was now awake.
"So I really need to get up?" he asked himself
He looked over to his PET. Bass-Cross stood there as always. He was always in the same position. Head down, arms crossed, and eyes closed.
"Well, better get dressed for absolutely nothing."
*knock knock*
"...is it her?"
He opened the door and it revealed to be a female teenager around the same age as Kent. She had her hair reaching her hips, wore black jeans, a black tank top. Her eyes were purple.
She had been Kent's friend for the last four years. Her name was Obsidi.
"How have you been big guy?" she said letting herself in.
"Nothing much as if yet." He responded.
"Well, that's boring," she told him with a disappointed tone.
"Hopefully you'll find something."
Meanwhile, at the Sakuri residence, there was a pc containing two Netnavis. One was the Netnavi of Maylu Sakuri and the other was a child NetNavi.
"Come one, Soul!" Roll cried out to the little kid, who was running around the homepage.
After the incident in SciLabs, they decided to proceed with the plan of creating the offspring of Roll and Megaman. It turned out to be a girl, so the Jr. was out of the question. However, there was a problem after a few weeks. The child was growing slower. It was nowhere near what they expected. It was growing at a faster rate than humans, but still not as fast as they hoped for.
"Get back here you...you...argh!" Roll yelled louder.
Soul, Was looking like a 6-year-old. She had Megaman's color, which was blue, her helmet was similar to Megaman's also, but had Roll's antennas, but was turned at a 45° angle of where Roll's were. She had Roll's eyes and color hair. She somehow had the ability to remove her helmet, but the antennas made it difficult since they came out of her 'head' instead of the helmet.
"Come and get me!" She cried out to her mother.
"Oh, why you little-" Roll, was cut off by a voice coming from the real world.
"Having a bit of trouble there, Roll?" Maylu, who was now a young 17-year-old woman. She still missed Lan who had been missing for four years. She still had hope that he would come back. Despite him lacking being present, her heart still belonged to him.
"Yes!" she cried as she was getting closer to get her daughter.
Soul tripped over Rush, who was taking a nap. Taking advantage of the this, Roll, dived down and caught her daughter, but she landed on poor Rush. He yelped in pain.
He was being crushed by both Navis.
"Sorry, Rush" Roll apologised.
"Well, I finally caught you!" she held her child.
"Yay, mother caught me!" She cried in happiness.
"By the way, Roll?" Maylu called out.
"Yeah?"
" wants us to visit him in the Lab later today."
"Okay!"
"Yay! We get to see Uncle Hikari!" Soul cheered.
"See ya!" Obsidi said goodbye.
Kent locked the door. He stood there for a few seconds before sitting on the couch. He had been with her for four short years. He went out with her once, but couldn't feel right. She was surprisingly ok with this. As long as she could still see him and what he was up to, it was fine.
"Oh boy, this has been a crappy day."
The PET was collecting dust. He felt so bored with all this nothingness. The only places he's been to was the small local gym, drug store, and a small Curry shop just recently.
"Hey…" Kent called out to the Navi.
"Fine" Bass-Cross suddenly spoke.
"Wha…?" He felt surprised that he actually responded.
"I feel for a stroll in the Undernet."
Kent grinned at this.
Maylu arrived at the Lab where was waiting for her.
"Maylu, good to see you" He handed her his hand to shake.
"Good you see you too! Wow, you look tired!" She looked at him. He seemed a bit drowsy.
"It's all right, I'm fine"
"So...what did you need me for?" She asked.
"Well, I need to check Soul for a while. We need another scan of her to see if she is ready."
"Oh, okay" Maylu handed him her PET.
"Hi, Uncle!" Soul shouted.
"Hello sweetie," He said with a smile.
"P-Please…" A Netnavi was on the ground with a missing arm. He was bleeding out data from his wound.
Bass-Cross stood there with a smirk. He raised his arm and impaled him in his chest. The Navi screamed in pain before finally being deleted.
"Well, well, that didn't last very long," Kent said in a disappointed look on his face. Every navi they ran onto was too weak to even last a second.
"..."
Bass-Cross hovered across the Undernet for a while longer before eavesdropping on a few navies.
"Did ya hear?" one said.
"Yeah, didn't think that would ever happen"
"That lucky Megaman"
"Having his own daughter after death"
Bass-Cross stood there processing what he just heard.
"Very interesting" Bass-Cross whispered. Perhaps this was the chance he was looking for.
"Yeah" Kent agreed only because he'd finally have something to do.
"Let's go pay them a visit"
"But before we go" Bass-Cross raised his arms.
"Hells Rolling!"
Bass-Cross shot the flaming wheels directly at the unsuspecting Navis, deleting them instantly.
