Chapter: Family

I need to get out of here.

It almost time, time for my pup to be born, and I will be dammed if I will let this monster harm it.

I had lost track of time of how long I had been looked up in this dark prison, laying on the ground, and scared for the live of my pup. It didn't matter that I had no knowledge of time, because as the days went by my stomach grew, and grew until I began to feel my precious pup moving around.

How stupid it was of me to run from the safety of my mate and right into danger. How much I miss, being rapped in Sesshomaru's arms. How much I want him to hold me tight and slowly feel my stomach to calm my moving pup. How much I would give just to feel his lips, his gentle touch, but most of all his love.

But I had no time to think of what I wanted; I had spent enough time crying about the lost of my mate.

Protect our pup, my beast growled out

Now it was time to think of my pup, and how to protect it. No matter the cost.

"How is my favorite expecting mother doing" came a dark voice, that was paired up with the dark figure that I had come to recognize.

"What the fuck do you want Naraku?" I said angrily holding my stomach to protect it.

"Oh come on, you know I won't harm you yet. I need that pup to be born before I can absolve both of your powers," He said laughing evilly, "HAAHAHhh"

The laugh ran in my ear fuelling me with anger.

"Bump" I felt my heart beat and then stop for a second. Sensations that I didn't recognize were flowing into me, my breath speed up as the feeling of hope overwhelmed my body.

-I'm coming for you love - I heard in my head

Where was that voice coming from? I asked myself, it's definitely not my demon.

-It's this Sesshomaru; I am coming for you mate. Just protect our pup-

I was brought to reality and out of the comfort of my mind by the feeling of water in between my legs, and the feeling of my muscles of my lower stomach contracting.

"No!" I whispered out in alarm.

"Oh yes sweetheart the time has come" He said in between evil laughs as he approached me.

His hand extended out as another contraction hit through my body.

"NOOO!" I screamed out pulling my hand out in desperation.

My body was filled with this new energy that I couldn't identify, causing a bright pink light to come out from my hand that pushed ageist Naraku.

"Ahhhh YOU BITCH" He screamed out almost as if the light had burned him.

He tried once again to reach for me, but I focused all the power I self running through me to my hand and watched a greater wave of energy came out burning him back into the wall.

I stared, as all that was left in front of me was the shape of a burn body with miasma leaking out.

Too weak to even stand a light came out of Naraku and returned to me.

"AHhhhhgg" I screamed out in pain as both the pain of a new contraction ripped through me and the pain of the new power overcame my body.

I felt my body changing, loosing its human qualities, and turning full demon.

Overcome with everything I couldn't resist closing my eyes and going into the calm darkness.

"ROARRRRr" I roared out as I reached the cave my mate was hidden in.

No longer could the spell hide its location for me, I was finally here and I would save my mate. I ran into the cave and fallowed the overpowering scent of Kagome, I could feel through our bond that she had gone into labor and was in distress.

I had no time to waste.

I ran into the end of the cave when I found passage to cells, and I was shocked by what I witness.

There in the floor of one was my mate lying unconscious, and trying to approach her was a burn body crawling towards her.

" ...power" It mouned out in pain.

Filled with anger I wasted no time and kicked the foul being away from my mate.

"This will be your end," I said out as I clawed away at the creature.

But before my claws could make contact, I was forced to retreat by a cloud of miasma.

"I WILL BE BACK, AND TAKE ALL OF THEIR POWER HAHAHAHA," He growled out as his body was surrounded by miasma and ran towards a woman on a feather.

I was about to chase after him, when a moan from my mate brought me back.

I ran to Kagome and picked her up in my arms.

"Sesshomaru" She whispered out placing her hand on my check. "You came"

"Of cores mate" I said softly as I give her a peck on her dry lips.

There was no time for a reining, our pup was about to be born, and I needed a safe place for my mate to deliver. My search had brought me into the eastern lands, and I knew that the eastern castle could provide adequate protection from Naraku while our pup is born.

So I ran as fast as I could as with every contraction my gave a painful cry.

"Sesshomaru hurry please" She whispered out, her eyes not focusing on anything in particular.

I finally reached the castle and rushed right inside, with guards following me, demanding that I stop. As, I reached the throne room I started into the sadden eyes of the eastern lord.

"I seek refuge Lord Kyrion, my mate is about to deliver my pup and…" I was cut short as he ran across and starred out the eyes of Kagome.

"Kagome"

"Father" Kagome whispered out.

"Love" came a male voice from the distance starring at my mate in my hands.

As his words came out my hands tightened around my mate in possessiveness.
